The staff at Advenir is absolutely exceptional! They are friendly and always so prompt and eager to help with any and every situation- maintenance request, relative information updates, etc. Shekinah is a gem and I am so glad to have come in contact with her. Imani and Grace are fantastic as well. The team makes up a great dynamic and I highly recommend this complex!

I can’t say enough about how great Jacob, the property manager, is. I lived here until October 2020 with old management, and while the apartment was great, I unfortunately had to move out due to a job offer in another state. Old management was less than stellar, leaving Jacob and his team with a lot of cleaning up to do; but they were up for the challenge.I had a very stressful situation related to my move out and Jacob was so calm, understanding, helpful, and took care of things quickly. Jacob took extra time to review my concerns (which were present prior to him taking over as manager) and familiarize himself with my situation. My only complaint is that they got such a great management team once I moved! This is how property management companies should be run. Thank you Jacob!!From an apartment standpoint, the apartments are in a perfect location-very quick walk to uab campus and the hospital. The amenities are beautiful, and we specifically loved the dog park on the roof! If I didn’t have to move for work, I’d still be happily living there. Can’t go wrong with this apartment and this management team!

Perfectly located for work downtown, as well as easy access to major highways for a quick trip around the city. Walking distance to good restaurants, and to Publix for groceries. The staff is incredibly helpful and attentive.

I had a great experience here. I was here for a year and moved because I left the state. The best thing about this place is def the staff. Tara is an awesome manager, she is super friendly and helpful. Juan who does pretty much all the maintenance is also great. The location in downtown is great and pretty convenient to many downtown restaurants and parks. There is a Publix right across the street which I loved. The other side of living downtown is the noise. My loft overlooked the main street and I heard everything going on downstairs. The building is really big and the public areas are pretty clean but the stairs and 5th floor hallways for some reason was often a mess and took away from my otherwise great experience. Even on move out they were great and highly recommend taking a look!

Lived here for 3 years and now leaving the state so had to move out. Cannot recommend this building enough. I’ve never had any issues.Management is very responsive, maintenance requests are handled within 24 hours, walls are thick enough that I don’t ever hear my neighbors.Package lockers, controlled access garage, great pool and gym, what else can you ask for. Def worth checking out.

Ive spent three years at Station 121, and my brother spend three years here as well. My experience at Station 121 has been nothing but great. The staff has always been so helpful to me and my family, and work orders are always completed quickly. My favorite things about 121 are the location, amenities, and safety. Since we use fobs to get in the parking deck and hallways to our apartments, Ive always felt extremely safe, even as Ive lived alone the past year. Within a few feet from Publix and the Rotary Trail and a few blocks from Railroad Park, the location is amazing. Its also easy to get around town from this location. Ive loved having the pool at the apartment, especially since its extremely private. My three years living here have been so nice, and Im very thankful to have had such a great experience with my first apartment out of college.

Very horrible customer service. My ac stopped working over the weekend. When I called the customer service at night (Jasmine), she told me they can only fix my AC as an “emergency” if the temperature is above 80 degrees. I ended up staying at another place. Called them next day when the temperature was 90 degrees and was told that it will be fixed. Drove back to check but it was not fixed. Opened another ticket with them. Called them after 2 hours, spoke to the same agent (Jasmine) to tell me if the issue has been fixed. I was told she cannot check on that for me and I could drive back to my place and check myself. Super unprofessional and unhelpful. The property itself is nice but spending a hot summer day without AC just because you are following “protocol” is purely negligent!

This is an amazing place! Pool (which always has plenty of space every time I’ve been there), secured parking deck, beautiful apartments with everything you need inside them. There is also a gym and a dog park area on top of the building. I have been here a few months and have not had an issue with any crime. The maintenance is amazing and responds quickly to any issues if you have them. And they are so friendly and helpful. Plus you can just submit the maintenance request online which makes it easier! The office staff is always amazing too and extremely helpful. And it’s close to everything! I really enjoy it so much!

I have lived here for over 3 years. The apartment staff is rude, unorganized and unprofessional. They have lost our rent checks on multiple occasions and tried to overcharge us. The apartment unit itself was okay but the management is terrible and made living there a terrible experience.

This place is amazing. Lived here for three years, never really had a problem. The staff is very nice and very helpful, from management to the maintenance crew. This is an amazing place to live! It is really well maintained and it located in a great spot. Also, the staff is AMAZING! Ellen has gone above and beyond helping us. Weve had some stuff come up and she has been so helpful in sorting it all out.

Do not bother coming here. When you walk in to tour the property they say you need an appointment and when you make an appointment and be on time they take walk ins and make you wait. Also do not park at future resident parking because the entrance is locked and you will stay there for a while until someone lets you in. Horrible service

Been here for almost 2 years and love it so far. Common spaces are always clean and well maintained. Maintenance is very responsive and I love that you can submit a service request online instead of having to call someone. The leasing office are great to deal with and do a good job of handling delivery packages. And the best part is that its incredibly quiet! Having stayed in multiple rentals around Birmingham and Atlanta, this is one of the quietest building Ive ever lived in. I can never hear my neighbors or people in the hallway and even with an apartment facing the street, with the exception of the occasional siren, I cant hear any traffic.

We lived at Station 121 for 3 years and loved our time here! It is a GREAT location - located between UAB medical campus and downtown Birmingham. There have been a lot of new apartment buildings come available within the last couple of years, but I still feel like Station 121 has the best location. The leasing/management staff is fabulous! Always so friendly and helpful. Even though this building is not the newest compared to some others in the area, the management keep the building looking new and apartments are modern and clean. Really great place to live for young professionals.

I love this place! I came from out of state not knowing anyone, and this place has become my new home. Staff is amazing and maintenance is always on top of it. Would definitely recommend.

The staff here are completely unhelpful and unpleasant once you become a resident. Also, more importantly, cars have been stolen and broken into. To me, as an enterprise employee, I value the process that goes into having to go weeks without your car and pay additional money for new insurance on a rental car while your personal vehicle is stolen due to station 121, and their lack of concern for investing in security.

Cheapest (for now) apartments downtown, and sadly you get what you pay for. Noise complaints get ignored, on-call maintenance staff cant be reached when emergencies arise, and gym equipment either stays broken or gets flat-out stolen. The office staff is terrible at communicating with residents...unless of course theyre asking for money. Rent prices have gone up and quality has gone down since Advenir took over and fired everyone with experience, so I cannot recommend this or any of their other properties to anyone. Looking forward to moving out!

Looking for a safe place to live in Birmingham? Do not live here. The lack of security is abysmal. After my car was stolen, the management staff gave a response implying that there had been nothing else occurring in the garage in that realm of criminal activity. Turned out there were multiple cars with windows shattered after criminals had attempted to either commit grand theft auto or car burglary just the night before. I bumped into another resident that I knew a few days later, and turns out his brother had a car there that had a window completely shattered the weekend before my car was stolen. He reported it to the staff, but the staff failed to mention that to me. I had spoken to another resident a few months later, and they mentioned their car had been broken into as well in the garage. You can walk to places like Children’s Hospital, UAB, AT&T, Banks, Starbucks, The Atomic Lounge, The Collins, Paramount, Railroad Park, Regions Field, breweries, restaurants, shopping, and so many other great places Birmingham has to offer. I LOVE Advenir at Station 121 and I am only leaving because I will be relocating to another state. Some of these reviews are laughable. You cant judge an apartment community on surrounding construction. Thats not their fault. You cant blame an apartment if your dog ruins the carpet and you exit before your lease is over and you have to pay to replace the carpet. You also can’t judge an apartment community because of some bad reviews. I moved to Birmingham from California and it was my first time living in a downtown/urban type of environment, and it was absolutely fantastic. The pool was always clean, the grounds were well taken care of, the 3 amazingly wonderful ladies in the office became my family ( Tara,Mandy and Ellen). They always took the time to get to know me and what was going on in my life, and they genuinely love me. Leaving them will be very hard because it was such a great place.I never had any trouble with break-ins (which will happen in ANY downtown area if you dont park behind the security gate!).As for others saying that it was noisy, when you live in an apartment you cant expect it to be silent all the time, but I can say that I never had any trouble with an overabundance of noise at all. 90% of anything I ever heard was normal city noise, but if you want to live in a silent environment, buy a house in the woods. Overall, Advenir at Station 121 is a phenomenal place to live. Nothing is ever perfect, but they were completely fair at all times. Swing by and talk to the ladies in the office, you wont regret it. These 2 years have been a wonderful experience!!

It has been absolutely incredible living here this past 7 months! Community is great, easy access for food and grocery shopping! Love the new dog park and the friendly neighbors!! I started off in a corporate apartment but decided to stay due to loving it here!

Five years of living here and I wouldnt want to live anywhere else downtown. Perfect location, close to Publix, bars and restaurants. Plus the office staff is very helpful through all stages of moving and living here.

My wife and I picked Advenir for the downtown experience after we got married, and we absolutely love it. Living downtown is expensive, sure, but their prices are significantly less than any of the other luxury apartments on the block. And this place is well worth it! Pros include: a secure parking deck, walking distance to Publix, UAB (campus and health system), bars and restaurants, Regions Field, Railroad Park, and tons of other stuff too. You can work out at Orange Theory, grab a pizza and pint from Pies and Pints, and then walk upstairs without going more than a block. UAB Urgent Care right below the apartment is a huge plus too.We (luckily) havent had to call maintenance too much, but they have been prompt during each visit. Usually by the end of the day. Office staff has always been friendly and helpful. You can get as much free coffee from the office as you want too. (Big plus for me) Our unit is the perfect size for a new married couple downtown. Floors look nice, kitchen is updated, and the unit is well insulated. (Not a lot of A/C cost)Weve gotten to where we really only drive on the weekend, if that. Advenir is a great spot to live downtown, and with all the other apartments coming up we feel like we made the right choice.

I have lived here for six months, and so far I am very pleased with the property, location, and staff. The grounds are generally well-kept and very secure. An HID key fob is required for entrance into any exterior door to the building. I have had zero issue with noise in the property. I have not witnessed any crime of any kind within the property. I live on the 4th floor of the west side of the building facing 20th street, and street noise is a problem - mostly its just the sirens from ambulances headed to the hospital. This, of course, is nothing the property or staff have any control over, just a note for those considering living here and choosing a unit. Garage parking is plentiful though not assigned, and if you get home after 6pm or so you may not get to park on your floor, which isnt a big deal as there are multiple stairwells and elevators around. The property just installed a locker system to handle package deliveries that you can access with a code 24/7, which is convenient. Also trash chutes on each floor are nice. Front desk staff are all very friendly and know your name. What Ive been most impressed with so far is the maintenance staff. I have put in four or five requests for maintenance to my unit, and they all were handled the next business day. The on-site gym, common room, and pool seem nice, but I have not spent any time in them. Location is fantastic if you want walking distance to some places to eat or bars, etc. Rent seems a bit high but I suppose it is comparable (perhaps even less) to similar properties nearby.

Live here, you wont regret it!4 years ago, we leased our apartment when we were still in California, sight unseen and have been so happy with our decision. The apartment is lovely and spacious, the facilities are really nice - the fitness room, outdoor area with grills, the pool...the only thing weve not used is the dog park but it looks fun! Our maintenance requests (though few and far between because everything works well!) have always been dealt with efficiently, and weve never had an issue with safety.Its always been a great location - walking distance to restaurants downtown, Railroad Park, Regions Field, UAB etc. but the surrounding area has only got better over the years. More dining options, the Rotary Trail, bike shares, Publix.While its a great apartment complex, its the ladies in the office who make this place what it is - a warm, friendly community that we call home. Every time you pop in, they ask about your day, they want to hear about the things going on in your life, and they always ALWAYS go above and beyond to help. They have been like a second family to us and I cannot say enough wonderful things about them.
