While driving through Montana our RV breaks began having issues. I called Willards and not only did they get my RV fixed in less than 24hrs, they also let us plug in to shore power at their location so that we could camp the night before they were able to work on our rig. These dudes are solid and super wonderful to work with. Also, their shop is pretty damn cool. Thanks, Craig, Marty, and Daniel for being the best! Cannot recommend this auto shop enough.
In late July’21, our rental motorhome had a fuel tank leak in Billings MT during our trip from NH to Yellowstone. We called at least 30 garages and no one can fit us in. Finally, we called Willard’s and spoke with Dan. He was super helpful and got his crew to fix the leak the same day. Good customer service is hard to find nowadays but there are plenty left at Willard’s Garage. Thank you, Dan, Marty, and the entire crew at Willard’s.
My RV broke down while I was traveling and the only place that I could get it towed to was this garage. They charged me $93 to tell me as much about what broke as I told them never moved the RV from where the tow truck dropped it and wanted to charge $16,000 to put a rebuilt motor in it. They claimed the only motor available to put in it cost $9,800 so I had the rv transported back to Minnesota. For $4,000 I am having a rebuilt motor put in it here. Even with the transport back to Minnesota from billings Montana I am paying half what they tried to charge me. This shop is a bunch of crooks that take advantage of situations stay away if possible.
I was recently in a car accident and I experienced excellent service from Craig and Dan. They gave me a comprehensive repair estimate and even worked my with insurance. I decided to buy another vehicle and they did a full used-vehicle examination and report, including notes about when to watch for issues at certain mileage. This made me feel comfortable buying the vehicle. They were timely, friendly, and reasonably priced. I’d recommend them to anyone!
We were traveling across country and our left brake and tail lights stopped working and our ac was very weak. I called from 5 hours away and they got to us as soon as we got there. Got everything fixed and were very friendly and professional. Would highly recommend!!

Marty...at Willards Garage was terrific !! Willards was my 6th call that morning, and Marty was the first to offer help. I would encanyone who needs excellent help right away to call Willards Garage !!!
These guys really helped us out. We had a transmissions sensor go out on a cross country move and they were able to get us in the same day and fix the sensor and get us back on the road.
Professional, quick turnaround, knowledgeable, genuine! Will definitely use again! Finding a trustworthy shop when youre a single lady can be difficult, but I trust Willards to do exactly the services I need, and make sure its done right the first time. Thank you!!
People are very friendly and knowledgeable.
Front end work done and they did a great job
My daughter and family recently moved to Billings from Denver and had been experiencing nagging problems with their Jeep. The Denver shops they had checked with were not very helpful, so I was referred to Willards in Billings- who made repairs quickly and for a fair price. Very happy.
They installed my wheelchair hopper and evo electric seat they made it possible for me to drive again thank y
Have brought my work truck here for years and have never had a bad experience! These guys are great!
I only recently discovered Willards, but I am so glad I did! When my car wouldnt start, they got to it quickly and asked me before doing anything, even making suggestions for more economical fixes. Jack also gave me some pointers to extend the life of my car. At no point did I feel judged for driving an old vehicle, which is something Ive felt other places. Id highly recommend this place for trustworthy service!
I just moved to Billings a few months ago and saw all of the wonderful reviews that Willards Garage had and decided to give them a try. These guys are amazing! Theyre all personable and took the time to get to know me. They care about their customers and dont try to scam you. Ive been to dealerships that overcharge and dont give you accurate pricing, but at Willards they detail the cost out for you and explain things to you. Thank you for taking care of my car!
Kind service. Great people. And fast service.
These guys are great. Brought my truck in for an oil change and check, I had clunk in the front end. Turns out a bolt had come loose (I think it was on a tire rod). They tightened it up and checked the alignment, no charge! They gave me a nice printout showing the alignment was good. Ill be back and I recommend them.
Very thorough... knowledgeable..good humor too !!
Had some injectors flow tested. Didnt get any paper work or anything with them. I dont know what they flowed the resistance or the dead stops. Not a good place to go to
They charged $800 to replace fuel pump in 1990 gmc van and I removed everything in the way before I dropped it off then they pulled all the wires out of my stereo and didnt fix it and I had to put everything back together which was most of the work
Great honest people. Wish I would have used them years ago. They over delivered. I highly recommend them.
After another local shop jerked me around for over a month, I called Willards. Willards verified the problem, ordered parts and had my truck repaired in less than a week. And (unlike the other guy) Willards was great at communicating where they were at in the repair process. Skip the headache of the competitor and just go to Willards for great service and timely repairs.
I would give 0 stars if I could. After showing up to have my a.c. condenser replaced we were initially very happy with the repair work done which cost us close to 1000 dollars. After another long day of traveling we stopped for the night only to begin our next day of traveling without air conditioning. Fast forward, after traveling another 40 hours and over 2000 more miles WITHOUT air conditioning with my 6 year old son and my wife, I find out that the a.c. hose that connects to the condenser was mangled by Willards garage. They offered to pay for the repair but were very indifferent to the suffering of my son and wife. After all of the stress of getting this situation settled I was informed by the shop here back in Texas, that the compressor has failed. Now I could understand if my vehicles a.c. was on the decline and headed out but this is a 2014 Nissan pathfinder. The a.c. compressor should last 8-10 years minimum. In short we went in for a repair the job was botched causing 2000 dollars worth of damage and Willards garage is telling me that I am out of luck. Beware of this shop as they will not take responsibility for something that they damage.
Willards Garage in Billings put new links on my sway bar and fixed my air conditioner motor for $405.22, but now I cant drive the Ford Explorer at all. The tire on the drivers front side is loose and wobbly. My battery was also run down and my car was left in the parking lot next to them unlocked. Willards said that my car was having new problems because it was old and had a lot of miles on it. Then they told me that by fixing the sway bar links it caused the car to be worse than when I brought it in. He was rude and even made me cry. He asked if I wanted him to take the links off and give me the $38.84 back for the part. I want to be able to drive my vehicle like I could before they worked on it. He even said, Well at least the air works, right...if I cant drive the vehicle, it does not matter if the air works or not. If I had been a man, they would have never spoke to me in such a condescending manner simply because I asked them to fix what they had obviously failed to do correctly in the first place.Willards was very kind and accommodating until I handed them $405.22 in cash and asked them to fix their mistakes. These are not honest people.
Been at same location for a very long time. They keep a great service record of all my cars. They gett me in and out very fast. They stand behind there repair.
Yesterday I took my car into Willards Garage and it was by far the worst mechanic experience I have ever had! THEY WILL SCAM YOU! My car battery had repeatedly been dying, so after replacing the battery and the alternator and still having no luck, I took my car into Willards Garage so they could diagnose the problem. They didnt even do a diagnostic test on my car, they just told me I needed a new battery, even though thats exactly what I had just replaced. I felt completely taken advantage of for being a female and not having automotive knowledge. My car was in there shop for 15 minutes and they charged me $100 to test my battery!!! I feel scammed and victimized. They were rude to me and made me feel taken advantage of and they didnt even do anything to fix my car. But they did offer to give me another battery for $300. Do not waste your money here.
Great service and friendly staff
The guys are awesome. I have a lifted Suburban that had serious issues, they came up with a plan of action and did it. Jack gave me a quote on new tires and stuck to the quote. Lift issues fixed and New tires! They have addressed my concerns and they will be getting my business in the future.
These guys are the best RV mechanics in town. They found our problem almost instantly, went out of their way to help us and got us back on the road again. They even put us up for the night. Thanks guys, youre the best!
Very bad experance. The supposed electrical guru took 5 hours to run 1 wire to a switch. I was told I needed a new steering wheel column to repair to repair a turnsignal switch.I had a good mecanic replace one broken part for $25 . There charge would have been $475. For the column plus hundreds for the instalation.I still ended up paying them to put everything back together . Over $ 400. For 1 wire to a fan switch, and all the time they waisted but no repair. NEVER BRING YOUR VEHICLES HERE. I gave them a good refrence a year ago. I regret that . I will be posting on Google maps and angies list. You cant charge your customers because your people are incompetent.
Made an appointment a week before we dropped off our RV. An still took a week to get back even though we had had an appointment.
Wonderful wonderful wonderful! Its not fun to breakdown on vacation. These people were the greatest and the price was very fair.
These guys are great. I needed new tires after the hugh snow storms we had in December. I called late friday afternoon, probably around 3 or 3:30. Not only did they have a great price on the tires (yes I did call around), but they got me in before 5 and had me back on the road by 5:30. So far these tires have been great. I havent gotten stuck in the snow since.Ive had other repairs done here and have always been impressed with their knowledge and service.I believe they do good work for a fair price. Personally I hate having to have my car worked on, but when I do, this is where I go.
Took my vehicle in 3 times in a week for these guys to figure out what was wrong. They call and say theres a rod on the back of the transfer case that needs to be replaced itll cost $600. Called a couple other places because something wasnt adding up. Both places said on my vehicle the whole transfer case would have to be replaced if thats the problem and was quoted $2300 for the whole job. Had another mechanic look at it and come to find out both the hub bearings were bad and the passenger side was dangerously bad. How any mechanic could miss that Im not sure. Paid $560 to replace both hubs and now my vehicle runs like a dream, no thanks to these money hungry thieves.
What I found nice about Willards is that everyone is nice. Having a very busy work schedule and a husband that is just as busy, I could call Jack, tell him our problem and in most cases have the correct fix. For a women it was nice to see that he would not treat me like I did not know anything. From our Class C motorhome to our Truck so far everything has been wonderful. Willard and Jack are the best and can trust them with all our automotive work. If they cant do it they will recommend a company in town that can. Thanks Willard and Jack.
They go out of there way to make sure you are taken care of. Best garage we have found in a long time.
Best garage/mechanic service experience ever!! Passing through Billings when my motorhome developed 2 emergency problems; manufacturer referred me to Willards, and they did a super job: very friendly, efficient, staying in touch with the manufactures service tech on how to do the repairs, keeping me informed all the way. Did the repairs expertly and quickly. Willard also gave us recommendations on what to do and see in Billings while we waited, plus restaurant recommendations. Would highly recommend this business to anyone!!
I use them as a primary mechanic, when I need it fixed ASAP, Wheel Bearing was going out bad and I needed it replaced, next day by 5 Pm Good as New, even offered to take care of the breaks and do the other bearing as it was getting sloppy as well. Good guys!
I receive fast, couteous service and feel I can completely trust them.
One of their tech people.sold.my.father a truck told Dad there was nothing wrong with the truck, this tech knew the time belts were going out and.falied to state the problem for a quick sale, I believe this guy was shady and a lier and that reflects on the Business he has since quit his job and no one knows where he is bad deal, watch these guys and their employees CROOKS!!???!
The guy behind the counter literally tried HARD to convince me not to give him my business over what he said would be a loss of a few hps. I just wanted my daily driver to have a little more growl I could care less about losing 3 or 4 ponies. I couldnt believe it he had me rolling haha.
Willards people were very accurate in their trouble shooting and prompt with the repairs..
Worst customer service ever! My husband took his truck in to have them fix it and they said that two things were wrong but it would be better to replace the whole transmission for $3200 instead of just fix the two seals. So we decided to look else where to have it fixed and found that Hansers would replace the transmision for only $1900. So my husband went to pick it up to day and they killed the battery and refused to charge it. Jake has been rude to my husband multiple times.
These guys will fix it fast and right
Very friendly and helpful, honest mechanics.
Great service they really care
Charged me 225.00 for ac diagnosis. Total Scam.
Complete rip off...come on with the folksy good guys talk and then charge $280.00 for one hour of labor....shame on you....thieves!
My engine blew up two weeks after they fixed my SUV
Good srevice,dependable, friendly service
Every time I bring a truck to them, they get back into service. They are my go to for any mechanical issue.
The only mechanic that I will ever use!
Very knowledgeable staff
Great friendly service
Great guys!!!
Great
