Comfort Heat & Air Conditioning did an exceptional job replacing our furnace and air conditioner, and installing a humidifier. I was so impressed with these gentlemen. John and Loren showed up on time, started to work right away. I had an A/C unit installed to replace an old beat up unit, they got it all removed and started the new installation and ran into a snag with my old furnace wiring. John went through everything. Confirmed my safety. SO Impressed. In the meantime, Loren installed the outside unit, ran all his tests, and felt it just wasnt performing as it should have. Possible air or contaminant throwing off the numbers. He wanted to be sure that is was perfect before he left. He could have said its cooling the house and moved on, but he didnt like what he was seeing. Knew it could be better. Drew ALL the refrigerant out and started over and WOW, what a difference. I will never go anywhere else. When I update my furnace, this will be the place I go to!! Also much thanks to JERRY, the man behind the curtain. Answered any questions for the guys. We had our old furnace replaced and had an AC installed. The team was very professional and polite. They were more then happy to answer all of our questions. They came across an issue of where we had planned to place our outside AC unit and they took the time to ensure everything came out perfect! Definitely recommend!

We had Dan perform some routine maintenance/checkup on our HVAC System on 5/26/2021 that they originally installed back in 2018 on a new build and were very impressed with the service.We were a little low on Refrigerant (R410A) and he was able to top us off which has paid dividends during this unseasonably hot weather. He arrived on time and worked efficiently to perform routine maintenance and answered all of my questions about our system.We appreciated the copy of the checklist to file with our house maintenance folder.At $208 to check both the AC and Heater seemed reasonable to us and included a replacement filter. The R-410A was an additional charge based on the amount consumed/needed.

Our AC was inconsistent and very noisy during the 95 degree weather days. The Comfort tech did a thorough job of removing the top and cleaning the AC unit, adding some needed R22, replacing the furnace filter and then stayed until the performance numbers were in the proper ranges. Our AC is now quiet and works beautifully. We really appreciate the service we received.

The tech was very polite, knowledgeable and honest. Our unit wound up being fine and he took the time to do thorough diagnostics to make sure. The price was very reasonable as well. I would definitely recommend this company and we will definitely be using them again!

Comfort installed a new Heating & A/C unit for us last week and did an awesome job! When we called for an estimate, they got back to us almost immediately! Then, when we told them we were ready to go with their quote, they were able to do the job within a week! Both the guys they sent out to our house were professional and knowledgeable! They did the job quickly and even cleaned up after themselves! What a great local company! We’ll absolutely continue using them in the future!

Installed april air humidifier as well and garage heater. Done as promised, on time and at an affordable price. Used them before and will use them again.

We got a garage heater and whole house humidifier installed. They are very nice and intelligent. They had the best quote I got too. I bugged Jeff with multiple emails trying to learn everything I could about the humidifier and he was always kind and quick to respond. Because of the conduction of our well water the humidifiers fail-safes kicked in and it stopped working and they returned to adjust the settings in less than 24 hours. I will be using them in the future because they also have a great maintenance plan they offer.

We had a garage heater installed by Dillon and AJ. They were prompt and very professional. They cleaned up after themselves and left the work area spotless. I am very happy with the service we got from Comfort Heating. We woke up last week to our house being very cold (57 degrees) and were unable to get our furnace to turn on. I immediately called Comfort Heating because they had serviced us before. Because it was before they opened, their answering service took my call. Comfort Heating called soon after 8:00 am and said someone could come out between 11 and 1. Dan, the service repairman arrived around 1:30 because he was held up in Roundup. He did call to let us know he would be a little late. When he arrived, he went right to work and found we had a failed igniter and after looking further, he discovered our heat exchanger had some bad cracks, which he showed us with a flashlight. Dan told us that we could either get a new furnace or a new heat exchanger for half the cost of a new furnace. We decided on a new heat exchanger. Dan located one, went and picked it up and in two hours had the old one replaced. When I saw how big that thing was, I was amazed how fast he was able to get the badly cracked one out and the new one installed. We were very happy with the fast response and good work done by Dan. We contacted Jeff at Comfort Heating & Air Conditioning to get an estimate on replacing the furnace at our rental. We had tried working with another local company earlier in the year and after signing an agreement with them they quit returning our phone calls when we tried to set up an install time. Jeff at Comfort Heating & AC was responsive and punctual - we received an estimate, signed a contract and within a few weeks the new furnace was installed. What a breath of fresh air to find a company that still believes in customer service! The quality, value & efficiency of the furnace installed is beyond compare. They came over after hours and got our heat back up and running.

I called in after closing time and the main office still took my call with patience and politeness. Mind you, this is the middle of winter (busy season for furnaces). I got transferred to the on-call tech named Corby. He must’ve spent 30-40 mins on the phone walking me through the fix! We got to keep our family warm and didn’t have to spend a dime, even though they have earned a customer for life! I hope those looking through reviews, will consider Comfort Heating and Cooling first 👍

This company is amazing!! We had a whole home humidifier and air purifier installed. They came to do our initial inspection within 20 minutes of us contacting them and had the products installed three days later. Dan the technician was professional and really helpful- he answered all of our questions. This company is legit- use them!!!

Our furnace went out this past Friday night when it was below zero outside. We called Comfort Heating and they had a tech here within 20 minutes. David was awesome and had us back up and running in no time. Such great customer service!

I have always used Comfort for my stores air conditioning and heating needs so I had them give me a quote for my homes system. I had quotes from quite a few places in town and they were $1000 cheaper. With the upgraded components I was still under the next closest quote. They installed the entire system in less than a day and took care of all the warranty information as well as rebates for the high efficiency furnace that I wasnt even aware of. They truly did a great job.

We had a wonderful experience with this company this weekend. Our old furnace was kicking out toxic fumes and we could not get any of our Columbus heating people to help us. Comfort heating was at our Columbus home from Billings with in an hour of us calling them. Their technician Nate was very helpful and knowledgeable and quickly shut our furnace down because it was dangerous. Jeff come out and help plan out our needs and by Monday we are sitting in warmth and safety. I would recommend this company for all your heating needs. They were wonderful.

Jeff came out to give me a quote for a new furnace and some other duct work. He was very professional. He answered all of my questions about the differences between furnaces, efficiency and how they impact the comfort of the home. He also asked how I would be using the space and made other recommendations based on air quality. He provided a list of tax credits available on which furnaces. They also made sure I have the correct documentation to take advantage of these credits when I prepare my taxes. Thank YOU!!! I would definitely recommend them.

Call before office hrs. A professional lady answered and put me on the schedule. Then DAN the service tech called and let me know what time he would arrive. Very professional and very knowledgeable and priced right. Within mins he diagnosed and fixed the problem. Will recommend them!

Comfort heating installed our heating and air conditioning when we built our home in 2000. We had air flow issues from the beginning with it being extremely cold in our sons bedroom, and chilly enough in the master bath that we used a space heater off and on. After 19 years the furnaces gave out and needed replacement. Comfort heating looked at what was here and said it never should have been designed as it is - and they had done it! They assured us that buying 2 more highly efficient furnaces would solve the problems. It did not. When the air conditioner started freezing up they could not figure out what was wrong, and admitted it wasnt behaving as they usually do if they are wearing out. Nevertheless they suggested that since the air conditioners were old anyway we could probably get rid of the problem with 2 new air conditioners for several thousands of dollars. We got a second opinion from White Heating. As soon as Curt White saw the size of the ductwork and the box under the furnace he knew that the problem was poor air flow to the furnace. He brought tables to explain to us the physics of air flow. He did an $1800 rebuild of the ductwork that included installation of another air return. We no longer need space heaters. We did not need new air conditioners, and they probably wouldnt have helped anymore than the two new furnaces did.

Ive worked here for 3 months and the quality of professionalism and knowledge is unlike any business ive ever worked for. Highly recomend anyine looking for a career in HVAC to apply.

Very pleased. Same day service. The person who took my call was very professional-sorry I dont remember her name. Corby arrived on time, he explained everything very clearly. Another company had told us the furnace should just be replaced and gave us a very vague verbal estimate to fix. Corby put it in writing and stuck to it, much lower cost than the other company.

They knew my furnace was completely out, but didnt let me know until after two visits that they wouldnt be able to replace it for several days. This was during the end of November. The gal on the phone tried to tell me there was a miscommunication between the guys even though I was standing right there and heard the conversation. I recommend ACT Heating. They took care of the situation promptly. How Comfort Heating received the Readers Choice award is beyond me!

My furnace was acting up over the recent cold spell and a technician from Comfort heating serviced my furnace and installed a new Honeywell T4 Pro thermostat. They charged me $124.00 for the thermostat and $90.00 for the service call. Total was $214.00, I checked on the internet for a cost of the thermostat and found one for $40.00. When I talked to the owner, he told me his cost was $89.00, and he stated that the reason for the discrepancy was that his came with a 5 year warranty.The one on the internet also has a five year warranty. So he can charge over a 200% markup on what his company installs. Enough said. I wont be doing business with his company when I install a full HVAC on my house this summer.
