We have an old Honda Pilot that started making noises from the front suspension area. We were going on vacation but wanted the car fixed while we were away. We brought it to Todds before leaving on our trip. They were very courteous and professional, and told us that they would diagnose the issue and send an email/text with the problem before doing the work. Even though we didnt need the car for 10 days, they responded the next day with the solution and it was very reasonable - we agreed over the phone and it was done - they didnt try to sell me on additional work. And they noticed that the car needed inspection and took care of that as well. I was very pleased with the service. I would recommend Todds Auto to anyone. I plan to be a loyal customer for years to come.

Recently moved to Gloucester and was having a really hard time finding a decent, honest mechanic and after dishing out almost $600 to replace my starter at a local shop that shall remain nameless, (holey moley were we taken for a ride) I had given up hope. The ac compressor was on its way out so we decided to make the treck from Gloucester to our old mechanic 35 miles away. Well we barely made it out of Gloucester before the truck started to smoke. I took my SUV to Todds after feeling overwhelmed by the report the dealership gave me on what needed to be done to my car. Turns out I didnt need everything the dealership was proposing and Todd was able to fix what was needed at a significantly less price.The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming! When you call this shop you are not placed on hold for what feels like forever when dealing with big dealerships and calls are returned in a timely fashion. This company has provided extraordinary service for me on three vehicles. Months ago, they replaced an engine in a 2008 truck; recently, replaced an alternator. Recently replaced an exhaust system on my 2011 Chevy Equinox & a faulty rear door piston. Much earlier this year, evaluated my failing (but still beloved) 2003 GMC truck; gave it a terminal prognosis; but made it briefly driveable. All work done expertly, promptly, & at fair cost.
