This place is one of the WORST salons I have ever been to in my entire life. The salon owner Quyen was 30 minutes late to my eyebrow micro blading appointment and was incredibly rude and distasteful. She rushed me out the door as soon as I was finished and was going back and forth between myself and another one of her customers, which is EXTREMELY unhygienic. There were ants all over the floor and the room was filthy with eyelashes and wax everywhere. I asked her if she had a license to perform cosmetic procedures and she replied with I am self taught, which is alarming. She has no idea what she is doing and my eyebrows came out looking like two thick caterpillars. I complained about how I was unhappy with the service and she proceeded to be dismissive and obnoxious about the situation. Quyen is one of the most unprofessional technicians I have ever met and I deeply regret trusting her. If you have half a brain, never go to this salon.

Quyen did an amazing job fixing my botched eyebrows! I was super happy with the results and will be back for eyelash extensions as well! She’s super friendly and knows what she’s doing. She also did microneedling which is reasonably priced for the area and helped a lot with my complexion. Highly recommended

Victoria is my go to lash girl! She makes me look so beautiful and the lashes last for a long time until I have to go back for a refill. I love her work and she is just phenomenal at her craft. I got D curls and thats my favorite curl.

They were accommodating but Emily did my lashes they were nice but the next day they started to fall off so I went back for her too fix them and she did and said she would give me a free set if it dont last they didnt last a week and tried to make a appointment with her but she never responded so I paid over a hundred$ just for not even a week of lashes.

Great service! Professional and environmental friendly products. Quinn works miracles for eyebrows and Lana does amazing lashes. She’s a perfectionist and takes her time. The staff is friendly and professional, services are expensive but you get what you pay for so I don’t mind. If you’re a perfectionist this is the place for you, the staff is highly skilled.

If you get your lashes done here do NOT ask for Sara. She did a horrible job on my lashes my left eye looked so thick and heavy and my right looked like there were missing spots. I couldn’t get it fixed because she had a client right after me. I don’t think this establishment should hire high schoolers to do lashes. I spent 100 on an attempted medium partial set and instead left with super long and unevenly thick lashes. I’m trying to make them work because I spent the money to look nice but it’s just not working out. Ask for a professional please

A definite go to for a regular Mani/pedi. Quaint and cute. They are very accommodating and Im pleased with the service. All thats missing is coffee/tea or a glass of wine with the service. 😃

Gross and incompetent. This place was dirty and I wish I had just walked out at first like my instincts said. The lady who gave me a manicure did not have a clue how to do nails, either it was her first time or she was never trained. I kid you not, nail polish was all over my fingers. When I asked her to clean them up she did not understand at all what i was saying and kept pulling out a thick brush to fix them?? So when she thought she was finished I told the front desk that I needed someone different to fix the nails and clean up all the polish that was on my fingers and not on my nails. All they did was talk to the same girl in her language and she pulled out cotton to clean them up as opposed to a metal nail instrument that will prevent the nails from getting ruined in the process. So weird. I have no clue how seemingly normal, well dressed ladies go to this place. Needless to say, I drove straight to another salon to have the polish redone. Ugh!

They were very friendly and careful when they were doing my nails! The place looked very comforting and they let me have a discount my first time there!!

I had a great experience with Quinn. (sp). My eyelashes look great. Pricey but worth it. Her Sister (forgot name) did my henna eye brows and they look awesome. I will be coming back!

Had my eyelashes done here with Lynda. Shes great, I would definitely recommend her. The lash set I had done was called the Volume set at $160, a bit pricier then I am use to. As well $100 for a refill is ridiculous. Thought there would be something super different in terms the service/experience. Nothing to write home about and nothing special to warrant the high price. $120 is the average price for lashes that I pay around the area.

Ive been a client for 23 years and would not go anywhere else. They have the lastest and the greatest for lashes, nails, eyebrows and more. They know their business and treat you well! Yes, I wake up like this!..for the many compliments Ive received. I highly recommend them

I went to this salon with my grandmother and it was a great experience. We both got mani-peti’s and we’re both VERY pleased with the results😄 They were, however quite expensive so I would never have gone on a regular basis. For the area, though, I think that may have been a good price since I know Bethesda is an extremely expensive area. It also in a great location with a couple restaurants in the plaza so you can go for lunch too!

For as much as I want to give a 5 star I cant because, I had an upper eyelid reaction ( inflsmmation) the day after I has the individual mink and had to call off work. Ive had eyelash extensions applied in the past with no reaction so I am skeptical about the hygiene. Otherwise, the service was good and the employees are pleasant. Ill revisit to try their chocolate wax.

I went in with my own supplies (my own nails, my own nail decals) asked for an ARYLIC clear set they can gave me some kind of weird polygel or resin that air bubbled. They still charged 140 dollars for the full set and pedi. The guy doesn’t know how to shape left my nails thick and uneven. That being said compared to the rest of the nail the salons in the north Bethesda area it’s nice they provide free beverages. But you don’t see anyone’s license at their station. This will be my last time coming here. Don’t let the fancy interior fool you, don’t be afraid to ask nail techs for licensing.

I have been going to this salon on a regular basis since they opened for almost 5 years, getting a bunch of different services. Last time I went in, there was a misunderstanding, and I would have to get partial service and come back later for the rest. It was stressful to try to find time to come back that day, so I asked about ways of fitting me in (including with other technicians), and the nail technician Teresa WENT OFF! Instead of de-escalating the situation and finding someone to take care of me, Teresa started yelling! She was extremely aggressive, rude, condescending, and disrespectful. She literally started walking at me! It was NOT acceptable/reasonable behavior and NOT the way to treat anyone, let alone a client that has been bringing in thousands of dollars worth of business a year (plus always leaving a 25% tip). I tried to talk to the owner about the situation, but she did not return my call. I live in the area and know a lot of people here, and I used to recommend this salon to many of my friends and many of them became regular customers. After being such a loyal long-term customer, it was upsetting to be treated so terribly.

I had a terrible experience when I had eyelash extensions applied at this salon. Please, please, please beware of this type of cosmetic work. If you decide to go through with it, ask the technician to show you their license/certification in applying eyelash extensions - also insist on seeing evidence that the eyelashes are natural. It never occurred to me to ask because I was referred to this salon. There were a number of issues with my application. First, there was too much glue applied which caused an allergic reaction. The edges of my eyelashes were inflamed and painful. This was compounded by the fact that the eyelashes were plastic (not natural like the technician assured me). Second, the application caused my natural eyelashes to turn downward into my eyes. Each time I blinked, the surface of my eye was irritated. This all came to a head after 4 days when I began having serious pain in my right eye. This led me to an urgent care center followed up the next morning by a trip to my eye doctor. Upon examining my eyes and eyelashes, my eye doctor informed me that the eyelash extensions were not applied properly and ultimately led to scratches on my cornea. She advised me to have the eyelash extensions removed immediately. I went to the salon and asked to speak to the owner, Quyen. I was told she was not in that day, and I was given her cell number. I sent her a text and included a picture of my eye. To date, I’ve never heard from her. To add insult to injury, the technicians at the salon kept telling me to come back in 30 minutes for someone to take care of me. For nearly 2 hours I went back and forth waiting for someone to remove the eyelash extensions. I received a refund but was told I could not be refunded the tip I’d left. While standing at the counter, I contacted my bank to file a dispute. It was then that I was told they would refund all of my money. Again, no apologies, empathy, or anything. The technician who applied the lashes was Linda and she was not in when I returned. I absolutely do not recommend her for any type of service and she was dishonest with me. I’ve attached a picture of my eye to show the seriousness of the problem. I was very fortunate because there was no permanent damage to my eye. I had to wear a contact treated with antibiotic medication though. Again, don’t be fooled by the name of the lashes – it’s a ruse to think you’re getting high quality natural lashes when you are not. I requested my lashes after being removed as evidence they are fake. They deserve 0 stars.

Unfortunately I had to move away from the area and cant see Quyen anymore. As a beauty professional I only trust Quyen and Theresa to do my lashes. I will be getting a full set every time Im in town for sure! Everyone at the shop is super friendly, too. Love this place!

Quyen does everybodys eyebrows the same and not according to their facial structure or the shape of their natural eyebrows. The way that she microbladed my eyebrows were unattractive to my facial features. She never considered asking me my shape preference so when she started microblading the eyebrows, I was a bit perplexed. As a supposed professional, she should have gone over the shape with me, but she did not. She did however, kept reiterating that the eyebrows were going to look good. Well they did not look good at all. I dont care about what is trending. I care about the original shape of my eyebrows and maintaining my natural look. To say the least, I ended up looking like a different person because the shape that she chose without consulting with me. Women may not realize that eyebrows can literally change the entire look of your face, causing you to look different. I would rather keep exfoliating until what she has done has been removed. My eyebrows are finally getting lighter. I wont return here for sure!

Donna Cawley: First of all, I would like to apologized for not being there due to it was my day off. We are all licensed and certified for our services. We gave you full refund for the lashes and waxing service, and I will be happy to refund you the tip also.I was not there the day that you came back in there fore i could not apologize you in person.I just want to point out that during the whole procedure while I was doing your lashes, you keep opening your eyes, making phone calls, answering calls because you were trying to get someone to pick up your daughter at the train station. Due to that when u open your eyes the fumes of the glue will make your eyes irritated. After I finish your lashes I wax your brows and lip, your whole face swelled up with the sensitive chocolate wax and you told me that your skin are super sensitive and that they always swollen up. In my personal experience I think that your skin are extremely sensitive, that is why you had an allergic reaction to the lashes glue. Our lashes are mink volume lashes and I was not being dishonest about that.

I wanted to like this place, but its pretty expensive. I got a gel mani and a regular pedicure and spent over $80 before tip. I am disappointed because my gel manicure is already chipping after 5 days. Unfortunately I probably will not be back even tho theyre so close to my house.
