The maintenance staff is amazing!!! They are truly wonderful, helpful, and responsive.

Lived here for three years, and the current management is better than the last one. That being said, I dont know why the other reviews are all stellar, but the building is honestly the worst considering the absurdly high price. 1)The walls and windows are so thin you could knock the down if you wanted to. You can basically hear everything everyone else in the building is doing. There are residents who have no respect for noise control. The new management is doing renovations, but unless they change all the windows to double pane at the least, nothing will improve. 2) Also, the layout of the unit itself is very very inefficient. The door to one bedroom is literally right next to the front door, which makes it incredibly uncomfortable for the person living there. This is something you would understand if you live here. I didnt realize it either when I just did the tour, so word of caution there. I lived here because of convenience to campus, but if you have a car, it would honestly be better to live somewhere else. I really cant say anything good about the building except for location, and I doubt renovations will change the issues I had with the building. Id advise you to not trust the other reviews, because they only posted comments about the new management (which we were asked to do). I dont want anyone to come in without knowing the real issues and weighing the pros and cons.

Lived at this location for around two years. new management is already a lot better than the old one. they clearly put effort into making residents feel comfortable. great location thats close to campus as a plus.

Already lived here for more than 6 months. Everything is very good, the apartment is very safe and super close to the leasing office, which means the staff there can always help me solve the problems. And the new leasing office has many cool events, the staff there are super friendly, love here!!

The new management is nice and great. The mailroom is tidy and packages are easy to find. And they respond to the request for repair in one day, which is quite fast and reliable.

Sterling Berkeley has been super prompt and quick with any concerns I have had with the apartment. Friendly staff, fun events, and even better service!!
