He was able to answer some performance related questions quickly and gave me some good pointers about keeping my compressor clean for optimal use. I called late on a Friday because I couldn’t get my gas fireplace pilot light lit. I was cold in my house. I knew it would be rainy and cold on the weekend and I wouldn’t be able to contact a technician, so I tried calling for help. Ken came within a half hour and got my fireplace cleaned and running!!! Water heater failed which was tied to heating system causing home to lose hot water and heat during winter months. Talked with various heating companies in Bend who responded with single furnace bids - Mountain View returned 3 bids in different price/efficiency categories and included a bid from external independent water heater and electrical contractors. Very responsive to situation of no heat with multiple offers to provide space heaters, ongoing contact about shipment of equipment, moved us to the head of the line since we were without heat and provided top notch repair personnel. The installer, Randy was very knowledgeable and personable, taking time to explain what he was doing and why it was important. Meticulous about cleaning up the area and equipment each time they were on site. Final price, including outside bids was right on - no surprises.

I had a great experience with Mountain View Heating, Inc. It all started with Donnie, their Comfort Advisor, who was on time for our appointment and provided all the answers I had for my AC installment. On the day of the appointment, Rufino was also on time and was available for me, as I asked several questions and had a few minor requests (teaching me about my thermostat, how to change my filter, etc). Rufino also went above and beyond and built a stable section in my side yard to house the AC unit. Which required him to navigate and pull a few weeds. I was impressed with both Donnie & Rufino.

After having our system installed as a new construction project, we had been plagued by mouse and pack rat infestations. Never could figure it out. Then in prep to have our system upgraded and repaired because of rodent problems, I had a duct cleaning company clean the system. Well.. found the entry point where our decade of rodent problems came from. They never finished the job and left our blower motor never installed and just sitting there. Called to inform them unto what was discovered. They told me to contact a lawyer and sue them. I guess they dont care nor warrantee their physical workmanship. Im left with 8k repairs because the root of the problem was they didnt finish the job, plain and simple. Dont make the same mistake I did and use them, if you choose to DOUBLE CHECK THEIR WORK because they dont really care..

This was simply the dream team for us. The job was scheduled for full days on Monday and Tuesday. Randy started the job with a pledge to at least try for some heat by Monday evening. Instead, the entire job was wrapped by 4:30 on Monday. The experience was absolutely top notch!

Del called before arrival and then arrived at the appointment time. He worked efficiently and at the end informed me of our ACs condition in easily understandable terms. Very satisfied.

Mt. View heating has been great from start to finish. It started with a repair when we were told there was a leak in the R22 and it was being phased out. We asked for a sales rep to contact us and we were promptly called by Donnie. He came out, took a lot of measurements, inspected our ducts and made his recommendations with 5 options. We made our choice and gave them a deposit. When the equipment was received, they called to schedule the replacement. Randy and Rufino called ahead and arrived on time. They worked the first day replacing the a/c-heat pump and air handler. They had to have an electrician out to make some modifications, which we expected as it was mentioned in the estimates. They made sure we had heat that night and said they would be back in the morning to finish up. They were again on time and finished in half a day. Before they left they checked us out on all the equipment and showed us how to program the new thermostat. I would highly recommend any and all of the people I dealt with there.

We have been with Mt View Heating for about 15 years. In the past three months, they have been here on several occasions. First, they visited as an emergency on the weekend in 25 degree weather to get our furnace running again. Shortly thereafter, they installed our new system (Daikin variable-speed). Steve managed the whole project, and James and his team did the installation. Everything perfect. For the first time in 20 years, we are actually warm in our home now -- thanks to Steves advice on which system to select. Mt View also did some duct repair for us and advised us on the replacement of insulation at the same time. We have been with Mt View since they installed the upstairs system in our home, about 15 years ago. Mt View has been out to our home perhaps 10 or 15 times over the 15 years -- everything always perfect.

Work was done when scheduled and there were no surprises. Everything went very well and I am satisfied with everything.

I had a great experience with Mountain View Heating. My heating stopped working at my house so I called to schedule them to come out and see what was going on. I called later in the day to schedule an appointment and they were able to come the next morning which was great because other companies I called said it would be a few weeks to come out. The tech called me before he arrived and was on time. He wore a mask, wore shoe coverings and was very professional. He listened to me describe what was going on with my heater and asked great questions to diagnose the problem...he figured the problem out very quickly, fixed it and the price was very reasonable. Ken came out to do a diagnostic of our gas fireplace to see if he could address the frigid air seeping in to our house from somewhere inside it. He identified the problem, fixed it, and even offered to clean our fireplace and spruce up the logs and embers (for a small fee). The fireplace has never looked better! We really appreciated how congenial, knowledgeable, and polite Ken was. The small things matter -- thanks, Ken, for wearing the booties, bringing your own drop cloth, and masking up!
