The technician that performed the work, Jeremy, was great. On time, thorough, professional, and efficient. Provided detailed notes on the service receipt.What was not so great was the estimator exaggerated the work to be done describing it as very difficult access to the part to be replaced, so the price was very high. The technician had no trouble getting to the part and the job took much less time that the price quoted. Tried to reach the owner, Ric, who supposedly is so interested in how the job goes, but didnt bother to return my phone call. Unfortunately typical of Bend contractors with more business than they can keep up with so they dont really care about the customers.

The entire team at Home Healing & Cooling is top notch! Ric, the owner came by multiple times to walk through the process and work to be done and Derek ran the installation project like a pro. He and Indra knocked out all the work in one, (very full!) day, even making sure I knew how to use the new system and all the ins and outs before leaving. This company has saved us from the lack-luster work of their competitors on more than one occasion. So, when we had another issue, we went directly to them. They lived up to the precedent theyd set for themselves. Quick to see us taken care of during this unusually hot summer with no song and dance or flim flam. What wed feared was a multi-thousand dollar new ac unit was nothing more than what might be the alternator on a car; the mechanism that tells the unit to start and gets it running.Jeremy was amazing. Friendly, professional, tidy. Genuinely seems like an upstanding individual who had our poor house cool in less than 90 minutes.

This company was awesome from calling dispatch on a Saturday morning to the tech, Jeremy coming and fixing my AC unit within 3-hours of my first call. I cannot say enough about them. I called another company and they were not helpful at all and just kept forwarding me to someone else.

Great experience with Home Heating and Cooling. Called to arrange a free estimate on adding AC to existing HVAC. They gave me lots of options to choose from and offered financing. That happened on a Friday and they were installing first thing Monday morning. Everyone was great, respectful and knowledgeable, definitely went above and beyond. All communications were timely and the new system works great. Very grateful to this local business for excellent service.

We were frantically calling various HVAC companies in Bend when the furnace in our rental went out. We had guests in the house no less. The team at Home Heating and Cooling worked us into their busy schedule and got someone out quickly to diagnose the issue. Unfortunately parts had to be ordered but the team was great at follow through and communication. Even when there was a delay on parts, through no fault of their own. The owner drove to Portland to pick up the parts so that the repair could take place before the next guest checked in. We’ll be using them again for maintenance and some other projects.

The whole process was great! Neal came to our house and did a thorough inspection of our system. Laid out several options for services along with all the prices. Was very professional and courteous. Top notch service with a smile! We couldnt be happier with our experience working with Ric and Derek from Home Heating & Cooling. Home Heating & Cooling was wonderful from the meeting to do an estimate through completion of the duct cleaning and update of our filtration system. They were very responsive to any questions and our service was so reasonably priced. The before and after pictures are pretty incredible. I found Home Heating & Cooling to be a very professional organization. Neil who sold the system to me was more than willing to speak to my brother about my options. (due to the fact I had no idea about these systems).The install was done by Derek and Indra. Both men were very helpful in answering any questions. They were both very positive and helpful. They left the garage well cleaned after completing the daily work. (even sweeping up the leaves that had blown into the garage during the day.) I would use this company again.

I’m skeptical sometimes about annual maintenance agreements but, here in Bend, you need your heating and cooling to work! We had Brian come out to provide advice and an estimate on a whole-house heating system in a home with no existing system. He spent a lot of time measuring and calculating, and then made a detailed set of proposals for us to consider, from bottom-budget to highest efficiency possible. He was open and honest, clearly knows his business, and made us feel very comfortable. We trusted that he was suggesting what we need and giving us all of the information to make an informed decision. HIGHLY recommended.

Home Heating & Cooling in Bend, OR responded to my call in minutes. A guy came out the next day and gave me a fair bid on replacing my 30 year old furnace. They sent a text with his photo and he showed up wearing a mask and shoe coverings. Within a few days during the holidays and a crew was at my home installing the new furnace. The furnace had to be custom fit in the tiny space that was available, but the install was perfect. They even made a place to insert new filters which had not been there with the prior heater. Included in the awesome install are two more visits to make sure everything is working properly. This company is AWESOME.They clean ducts as well, so I may have them come back soon.

Jonathan was extremely helpful. Identified problem as icing, so gave me instructions on what I needed to regain get air flow in 24 to 48 hours. Hopefully this will resolve problem.

Our gas furnace suddenlyfailed with multiple operational issues. The Covid-19 pandemic complicated our decision to replace or repair the furnace. Jonathan provided excellent and detailed advice to guide us to our decision to repair the unit for now. He was primarily concerned about our safety so the project unfolded over 4 weeks. The scope of repairs was increased because of Jonathans safety concerns. We had total trust in his expertise and work ethic. Nik and Indra showed up right on time and got to it! They performed an Aeroseal sealing application on our ducting system. Before purchasing this service I did a fair amount of research on it and found mostly positive reviews. Its quite an operation to get setup. Reviewing the before and after charts with Nic we had an overall 95% improvement in lost airflow. The next day was very telling. Typically when I go downstairs in the morning to my office its pretty cold even though the heat is on (we have a one zone system). Not any more! It was actually warm! Wow! Combined with the enhanced air filtration system Home previously put in (dual filters, ionizer) we are seeing a big difference in livability and cleanliness. Really happy with the recommendations Home made and implemented. Highly recommended.

Casey came out after our smoke detectors went off due to an issue with our HVAC motor. He was very good at going over the issues and multiple options/Costs for repair. He was able to get the parts and our heat back up and running the next day

The 20 year old Trane with a White Rodgers 50A55-474 controller began to fail intermittently and then finally would not ignite the gas. Called at 3pm Wednesday after two other companies who’s schedules were more than a week out. The serviceman Casey came to house at 10AM next day ( New Years Eve) as scheduled. A considerate guy in that he listen to my prior diagnostics about filter and thermostat etc, then did a compete diagnostic of the actuators and sensors and concluded, as I had, that the control board need to be replaced. He did not have the board in the truck but an associate drove it over. He left about 1pm with the furnace working. Even the lowest estimate felt high for the job but I agreed to it and Casey was completely transparent. Was snowing outside but we are happy.

Very nice, very professional service, within minutes had our problem narrowed down. Ours was a cooling issue with a new custom home unfortunately will be expensive so will have to go through builder and original installer since its less than a year old and is covered by the other company under new home warranty. Otherwise Id have had Home Heating & Cooling do the repairs as its obvious that they are serious about the quality of service provided. Not sure if they are a little more on cost but certainly is worth the comfort of knowing itll be done right. I came away completely informed of the issue at hand and even armed with some extra knowledge that helps us going forward. Great team!

The employee lied about what was wrong with our heating unit in order to try and sell us packages to fix it. He also pushed very hard for a good review.We had another company come out and inspect our heating unit (and actually clean it out too, which HH doesnt do if you ask them to service the unit) because we were skeptical about Caseys work. The second company said everything HH told us was false.Do NOT use this company.

Johnathan was very pleasant to work with. He was extremely careful with social distancing and COVID protocols. He pointed out a couple of issues that need to be addressed and assured me everything was still covered by my warranty. I felt like he had the knowledge and experience to maintain and repair my heating system.

I have used Home Heating and Cooling since having them install a m ajor upgrade to the HVAC in our house here in Bend. The system is everything I hoped for in a modern climate control system.Recently, they responded to a plumbing emergency within 12 hours, removing a very hard to reach length of ducting, which was preventing access to a broken hot water line. They waited while teh plumber did his repairs, and then reinstalled the ducting the same day, so we would have heat (meanwhile, their technicians were working under the house, in 36 deg weather.Finally, during a routine winter service Paul found a faulty gas valve, causing our gas bills to be higher than expected and, a week later, replaced the valve, under warranty.I couldnt be happier with HH&C!

Worst customer service. First they lost our quote, so we had to reschedule an inspection which we then waited 3 weeks for. They called us to confirm our appt the day before which was great, but then they never showed up as scheduled. We took the day off of work to be home for the inspection and waited all morning for them and received no updates. And when we called the receptionist, she was rude and argumentative. So unprofessional. Can’t speak to the work this company does because we weren’t able to get that far, but the customer service was terrible and steered us away for good. Wouldn’t recommend.

Excellent professional service with photos of previous service, thorough subject knowledge and he listened. Good command of the facts. We wanted to have ducts cleaned but he reminded us it had already been done so saved us a lot of money. He also looked up our account history before coming and conferred with his staff to get all the history.

Our heater went out, and the folks at Home Heating & Cooling worked with us (respecting social distancing) to help us pick out a new higher efficiency HVAC system, work out some financing and get it installed in less than a week.
