Greenwood Auto sold us a car that was supposed to come inspected. Instead of putting a 2021 inspection sticker on it. They created a counterfeit 2020 sticker and told us it was a temp sticker. That we needed to come back after the vehicle was driven 100 miles to get the 2021 sticker. After we left the lot, they stopped taking our calls, and they locked themselves inside when we show up. No answering the phone. No answering the door. Even with their two OPEN SIGNS lit brightly.The sticker is fake. A piece from a seemingly real 2020 New Hampshire state inspection sticker (the middle part with the month and year) was cut out and put on the red counterfeit 2020 sticker.The red state inspection sticker that we watched the mechanic put on our car doesn’t resemble an actual 2020 N.H. state inspection sticker. The real 2020 N.H. state inspection sticker has a metallic shine to it. “NEW HAMPSHIRE” is printed above the DATE. Below the DATE, “MOTOR VEHICLE INSPECTION” is printed. To the left of the DATE, there’s a serial number; and to the right of the DATE, a barcode is printed.The 2020 red sticker we watched the mechanic put on our car didn’t look that way. The sticker seemed glossy but clearly not metallic. On the Greenwood Auto’s counterfeit 2020 RED sticker “NEW HAMPSHIRE” was still above the year and the date; however, the text below it was simply “2020.” Where the serial number was to the left of the month and the year, “MOTOR VEHICLE” was now printed; and to the right: “INSPECTION” was printed.Basically, the Greenwood Auto in Belmont, N.H., counterfeit 2020 sticker was a replica of the 2021 N.H. state inspection sticker. Except the year had been changed and was red instead of the 2021 blue.The highly intelligent mechanic somehow printed our FAILED INSPECTION REPORT onto the sheet of paper meant for printing a N.H. state inspection sticker. Either way, in a fluster, the mechanic handed my wife the sheet of paper where the FAILED INSPECTION REPORT was printed over the page used to print the NEW HAMPSHIRE STATE INSPECTION sticker. The sticker part had been peeled off. He kept asking for it back, but my wife wouldnt give it back to him.The counterfeit sticker—standing alone without the inserted month and year—was the red border with part of the FAILED INSPECTION REPORT printed in the center where the MONTH and the YEAR should be printed.The soft mechanic boy then placed the cutout MONTH and the YEAR from an actual 2020 sticker, I’m assuming, over the center of the counterfeit 2020 sticker, concealing the actual center where a piece of the FAILED INSPECTION REPORT was printed. This can’t be good for business.Either way, I ended up never getting the 2021 state inspection sticker I was promised from Greenwood Auto in Belmont, New Hampshire, and I still have the jimmy-rigged counterfeit N.H. state inspection sticker that Greenwood Auto in Belmont, N.H., put on my car.It cost me an additional 500 dollars for my car to pass inspection from a legitimate shop. I knew nothing about Greenwoods.In 2019 5 days after my young daughter suddenly passed away my muffler broke.A co- worker told me of them.I stopped in and they took my car right in and welded it together.As the owner and I talked I told him of my daughters passing that week.He wouldnt take my money instead told me to put towards the funeral.I have been back every year to have them inspect my car.And will use no other business from here on out.Thank you Greenwoods for showing me humanity.

If you want professional service at a reasonable price, this is the place to go. Very friendly service staff who are knowledgeable in all aspects of servicing and fixing any problems your vehicles might have. Oh and they have a great selection of “priced right” used vehicles should you want something different or additional to what you have.

I went in for an inspection with no appointment they accommodated me in 15 minutes. They found a few brake problems and fixed it. The price was very fair and reasonable. Super nice and very friendly people, they have my business!

So my fiancé and I went to this shop last Saturday and we saw a few cars that we were interested and so we tried talking to the guy asking if we could test drive the newest one we had there and I literally had to call him and he just straight up asked hey buddy what are you paying with he’s like are you trying to do financing or paying In cash. We literally only asked him if we can test drive a car and we had to call him to get his attention. Also as we were looking at the cars we found trash I. A lot of them like Dunkin’ Donuts cups and McDonald’s bags etc and food in the cars... this is not ok it’s poor service. I will be calling ASE cause they should not have there license and I will also be calling the DMV also AOT to report them. For selling unsafe cars.

My girlfriend and i went to buy a vehicle and we had seen a vehicle we where intrested in. We ended up buying the vehicle that was supposed to be ready a day later, needless to say the kept giving a run around saying they where waiting on a part. When we finnaly got the vehicle i was told that it passes for safty but not emmisions. They put a 60 day sticker on it. I took ot to another garage where i was informed thet it wouldnt even pass safty the inner tires where showing metal the axles are leaking among many other issues. I will be calling department of safty as well as looking into a lawsuit for endangering the safty/lives of not only my gf, her kids, and i but as well as others on the roads.

I bought a car that needs 2,300 worth of repairs and they knew what it needed. Slapped a temp sticker on saying it passed safety when the control arms in the rear are junk!

My son brought his car here he had a Pontiac grand prix here and they took months for them to fix it and when they would give it back it was more broken then one day when he was going down the bypass his tire popped he crashed and nearly died so if youre planning to get a car fixed here youre better off throwing it in a ditch it will get fixed faster

Not a great place to buy a car he claims the cars in his yard and when I go take a look at the car the car is not there and then he said the car has been stolen

I was messaging Dennis the 27th of February about a Ford Escape. Asked what was wrong with it and he replied needs a good cleaning. We made a appointment for February 28th coming from Rochester. We test drove it and looked at it saw some rust that we would have to fix for inspection no biggie. So we paid $1,030 came back in half hour to do the paperwork. It got busy in the office the guy helping me was going into conversations with other people than having conversations with went back and forth for a bit. M

I have NOTHING negative to say about Greenwood Auto. I first encountered this business on 11/8/18 for them to renew my brakes, rotors, transmission lines, valve cover gaskets, hub assembly, oil change. Theyre very good on their rates and prices. I will also be returning to them to do welding and frame work on my vehicle.

I recently had a vehicle emergency. A work friend reccomened Greenwood Auto Sales. I contacted them over the phone about my need and price of a reliable vehicle. They were kind and courteous. Told me about some of my possibilities via phone. They were very willing to help me out. Took the extra time to photograph and send me some pictures. All this was very appreciated. I heard they are closing down. Most of the cars they are selling are junk.

Very unfriendly, made a deal a few days ago, when we drove 2 hours to pay and pick up the cars one was un-usable he had said that he was going to have them both inspected but very obviously hadnt, neither of the cars came with any warranty or guarantee and I highly doubt he would have honored it anyway and when we offered to buy the one that was he backed out of the deal, very unprofessional and a time waster, do not use this dealership they will not be easy to deal with.

Had friendly service buying a car there until we drove off the lot. We called a couple of times daily for more than a week to ask about a part they were supposed to fix but forgot about. They never returned any calls. Be sure to get whatever you need repaired done before you make that final payment.

I was buying a car and put a down payment on it, and i looked underneath the car and it was all rusted so i politely asked for a refund, the boss cussed me out and told me to find a new boyfriend, since he paid for the down payment.

I bought a vehicle from them a few months back and they told me that the vehicle was in good running condition and nothing was wrong with it and when I went to pick the vehicle up it had nothing but issues from there and Ive been back multiple times to have them fix the vehicle and they do the least amount they can and try to go around the real issue and the vehicle still isnt inspected because of a part they need to replace in it when they told me that it would be inspectable upon purchase and I have less than a month to get it inspected. Oh and on top of that now my oil pan is starting to leak . When I asked them if there was anything wrong with the vehicle they could have just told me what was actually wrong with it so then I might be willing to actually fix it but telling me that there is nothing wrong with the vehicle and me purchasing it and finding all these problems was very dishonest and very unprofessional. I also heard that the mechanics dont fully know what theyre doing and resort to watching YouTube videos on how to repair things. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

I came to greenwood auto sales after my father called me, saying he worked a deal that we could give a $600 deposit and pay weekly for a used car. My boyfriend drove over an hour to bring me to check out the car, and after test driving it and looking it over we came to the conclusion that though there were a few problems, it would be worth purchasing and doing a few repairs for the use that I wanted out of it.My father waited at this place of business for me to arrive. After I took the car for a test drive, I walked back inside and the owner was there. The first thing he said to me rather than any sort of greeting was that he cant sell to me because I live far away. Now I understood this from a business standpoint (because he was doing us a favor by allowing the payments rather than paying in full, and it would be difficult to get to the car had I not made my payment), however he amended and stated that he would sell it as long as my dad cosigned so that business owner could ensure someone close by would be responsible for payments. My boyfriend further looked over the car and then we came to the decision to purchase. As I went inside with my money, the owner all of a sudden refused it. My father told me that when I was outside with my boyfriend, the owner stated that he would have sold the car to either my father or my father and myself, but not to “that guy”. Not that my boyfriend was part of the equation… I cant help but think this was due to racism (my father and I are white, but my boyfriend is Puerto Rican and rather dark) because of that remark.Either that or it was because the owner was upset I was being thorough. Regardless of the reason, Im glad not to have purchased there. If he was really so upset I was looking at it, then I suppose there must be something very wrong with it. He was extremely rude to me the entire time even though I did my best to be polite and friendly.Unfortunately, I would not recommend this place to anyone. If the owner is reading this, I recommend you have more respect for your customers.

And now that my father is there I have seen him take cars that he paid a 3 thousand for sex um and then sell it to a family in need for 2000

Set up an appointment to check out a car today. When I showed up the car was not as described and surprise suddenly wasnt running. I strongly advise that anyone steer clear of this place. If you do decide to go, be extremely cautious and dont fall for their scheme. Their website tells the tale pretty well. Photos of high end Porsches when their inventory consists mostly of 10+ year old cars in heinous condition. Not to mention the multiple typos.Trust me, Greenwood Auto is nothing but trouble.

I was all excited to get a vehicle from them I was told that all the problems with the vehicle would be fixed. This started on Monday, Tuesday I stopped by because I was excited and spoke to the mechanics who told me they hadnt looked at it let alone worked on it and they couldnt understand why I would be promised the vehicle Wednesday. So I let I go, left tried calling Wednesday morning no one answers seems strange for a garage. So I stop at the garage again and was told that they would try and squeeze it in that afternoon, well squeeze it in with the list of items that needed to be fixed I knew I wasnt getting my vehicle that day. So I asked to have the owner call me and leave my number yet again.Thursday comes and no call from them, so i stop back at garage was told that parts on order for vehicle. So I leave saying I would like to speak to owner. Friday morning I call at a little after 8 and actually get owner who at this time tells me it is fixed. So that made me happy for a whole 5 seconds until he follows with parts on order for seat track. Then follows with the price of the vehicle has to go up because he has all this work and parts tied up in it. So I say I will see him 1st thing Monday that is when he hangs up on me. Now I dont have a problem or even to compromise if it ends up being a little more.Saturday morning guess what I go to stop at the garage and there is someone else with my vehicle. (No I havnt put any money down but he didnt require the money down, I had been asking him what the total was so I could go withdraw it from the bank)Now I still have had no calls back no apologies no nothing and no I didnt show up that Monday. I want my story out there I cant tell anyone what to do but I will make sure my family doesnt buy from there.

Not an excellent experience, they tried and I cant fault them for that but I couldnt recommend them.

Just bought a 2006 Subaru B9 Tribeca from them. They allegedly fixed the front struts but they still make noise. They were nice and got the struts and front brake pads installed quickly so we could pick up the car in a couple days. The brakes are still squishy but maybe that is the car. The hood doesnt latch but there is a recall on that so I am taking it to Subaru. The windshield washer hose was loose so it wasnt working but that was an easy fix (until I opened the hood). Took me 45 minutes and AAA to get it to latch shut. The rear hatch supports need to be replaced and so do the fog light bulbs. Not sure when the oil was changed, the air filter was changed, and the cabin air filter was changed - but since there are all these other little repairs Im guessing it wasnt done recently. Just silly little things that shouldve been taken care of before we took the car. I like the car so I will make the repairs but I dont think I will ever go back there.Took the Tribeca to Tri-City Subaru. Greenwood Auto installed the control arm wrong so thats costing me $325 to fix. Also the rear brakes dont pass inspection which is another $400 to fix. However, Greenwood Auto put a passing inspection sticker on it. We checked the oil and air filter which we both fine, but the cabin air filter was gross. Filled with pine needles and acorn shells and almost black with junk. We replaced that right away. I know dealerships are expensive for repairs, but all of this shouldve been taken care of being buying the car.Word to the wise - dont go here to buy a car. It might be a good price for the vehicle but thats because nothing has been repaired.
