These ladies are awesome and fast and reasonable. Walk in and see if they have time. This is the place to maintain those feet.

I loved it! The ladies are really nice. I usually get cuts when I get manicures from other places but she made sure that my hands were comfortable and I got no cuts! I got the gel manicure with the cat eye polish which has a cool effect on it. Really happy with my nails. Thank you!

Love this place! Staff is friendly and personable, it rarely has the strong chemical smell so many other places do, they can always fit in a walk-in, and their work is long-lasting and lovely! They also offer discounts if you pay with cash.

UPDATE: *You may have noticed a 2nd picture of the blue cat eye nails, that are very grown out; I thought it would be entertaining to see how long it took for one to get messed up. So this is 3 weeks and 4 days now that these all have stayed on my hands fine, slight lifting on a couple, but thats it. Bonkers😂* Best nail experience in Bellingham Ive had! There have only been a handful of places Ive gone to besides Martins though, because every time I go anywhere else the quality pales in comparison. Anna and Kim have mastered the art with years of practice! I work in the restaurant industry and need to know that my gel polish or acrylics will look good and stay on my hands. My mom in law has been going there since my husband was little and they always ask about my family. They both have fun senses of humor and genuinely care about people! They are very good at multi-tasking and accept walk-in visits that are respectful of their scheduled appointments. A little pricey up front, but the durability of their work and willingness to perfect each nail ends up being way more affordable than most salons in the long run. They have a wide variety of magnetic cat-eye gel polishes that Im unashamedly too obsessed with.

Im pleased with my acrylic nail job and attentive service. I play guitar and use acrylic nails as finger picks. As such Im very particular about shape and length and such details. My fingernails are tools and instruments more than decoration. It can be hard sometimes to find a tech who can get it right and not grind my cuticles to pulp. She did a pro job, quick and got them perfect with sparkly bling to top it off. Hooray! Ive found my new go to nail tech.

I made an appointment for my boyfriend and myself. He had never had a pedicure before, and I kept talking up the foot rub. This was my first time at this salon. They didnt do anything wrong, but they were lackluster. At other places, pedicures take 45-60 minutes. I was done in 30 at this place. I had asked for a long foot rub for my guy because he wasnt doing polish and all that. He was done well before I was, and they charged me more because they did a sugar foot scrub rather than doing more massage. The paint job on my nails looks good so far, but the whole thing was so fast there wasnt much relaxation or pampering. Ive tried 5 or so other places in town for pedicures over the years, pretty much all of the other places were more enjoyable.

I came in for a manicure and they started, but said it will be a bit to get my nails painted. My nails still looked very rough and they used a sander to scuff it up. I waited for quite a while and other people were helped that had come in without an appointment. When I finally mentioned that I needed to go, they said they didn’t realize I needed anything else done and could paint my nails for me at that time. I would never go back to a Business that treats their customers like that. Well and they left my nails looking worse than when I came in.

I normally have a really good experience with this nail shop but the last time I got my nails done I was scheduled at 12, I got there 10 minutes early to pick out my color. There was another customer who came in and got a color faster than me, so they let her go first even tho I was scheduled at 12, and by this time it was only 11:58.It took about 2 1/2 HOURS for them to finish up that includes me waiting, and them stopping in between doing my nails to work on other customers pedicures and nails. The acrylic job was ok, but the polish job was complete trash. She slapped it on and didn’t even cover the full nail, the nail polish lasted about 4 days before it started coming off and discoloring.It’s a hit or miss when it comes to this shop and for that reason I won’t be coming back.

Ive been going to Martins Nails for the past 8 years and wont go anywhere else in Bellingham! Anna and Kim both do an amazing job and are so welcoming and nice! Ive often show them pictures of designs that I want on my nails and they always turn out how I want! HIGHLY recommend.

Awful service. Waited for her to get off her phone, then spent 15 minutes trying to understand the price and service level of what I was asking for on my first visit, and then was told abruptly that she no longer had time to do my nails when the shop was empty. Will never return. Far better places in Bellingham.

I am visiting Bellingham for the holidays and needed a fill. Kim was excellent! Very nice and professional. I came in with a pic of the nail design I wanted and left with my nails pretty close to my picture. I also wanted just a toe nail polish and that was not as great as California, because at home they will make sure cuticles and nails are in shape. Plus paint the naild. Here, they literally just painted the nail. Overall I am very pleased though! Now my sister who lives here has an appointment. Definitely will go whenever I am here!

Kim removed the nails and put a new set on. Not only did she make sure I was happy with the thickness but the shape and talked me through what I wanted. If I lived here this would be my nail salon. Very friendly ladies and while getting my pedicure I thought that I would be becoming a regular there; however, did not get a foot and leg massage along with the pedicure. That is one big reason that I get pedicures! Disappointing.
