I have given my car for Door Handle replacement. Its a simple thing and trust me they did real poor job and I have been to their shop 4-5 times in 1 week to fix same issue. Everytime they say the issue is fixed and when I go back to their shop on Lyft/Uber and check, issue will be there. Finally I lost my patience and asked for a refund. They will treat customer well and they talk nicely. But they have to get the work done correctly and on time. As we are paying the money how much they demand, they should not do poor job.

My ignition switch went out so I towed my car in. While it was there, they discovered the actuator arms (steering) were dangerously worn out. I was short on money, but I told them to replace them. The bill was $637 and I only had $550! They generously reduced the bill to $550 so I could afford to pay for the bill. They have my business from now on.

I had a small job to put up my front grille. i have been procrastinating it for sometime. i took it to Alis. and they put it up, fast.first time i have encountered an ungreedy mechanic.I hope this review will go a LONG wayI have decided to do may more services from them.

Recently a friend had recommended I check out Ali’s for my next routine maintenance on my 2014 Chevy Volt. I had the opportunity to get the car in today and they did a great job; they even squeezed me in on short notice. Having grown up with several friends and family engaged in various sectors of the automotive industry, I always find myself paying close attention to how a shop performs when I am in for a visit. Ali and his entire staff are without a doubt some of the best in the business. Finding and retaining skilled technicians is extremely challenging these days. Ali has done well by assembling this team, and I will not hesitate to take my car there again in the future.

I have an extensive classis car collection along with our modern vehicles. Ali is the only one I allow to work on the collection. His knowledge is outstanding and all of the vehicles, old and new, are in excellent hands everytime he touches them. 5 stars is still underrating him and the staff.

Five stars all the way! I can honestly say Ive never had a bad experience with Alis Bellevue Auto Repair. Ali is one of the only mechanics Ive ever truly trusted. He is knowledgeable, straightforward, accurate, and efficient. Each time Ive brought my vehicle in for repair or service, I have been treated with the utmost respect and courtesy. I made an appointment recently to bring my car in to have a faulty fuel part replaced. At first I was concerned the wrong part had been ordered so Ali researched it on the spot for me and assured me it was indeed the correct part. Even better, the job was completed in under an hour! I know for a fact if Id had it repaired elsewhere, it would have taken at least half a day and wouldve cost much more. I will continue to bring my car here as long as I have it (244K miles and still going, thanks in part to Ali and his team). Keep up the great work!

I got a very high quote for a radiator replacement from another shop, so I called around to find the best quote I could get for the actual repair. Alis was very nice and did give me a quote over the phone that was much cheaper than the initial quote at the other shop and in line with a few others around the area.Ended up picking Alis out of the good quotes because theyre open on Saturdays and then since theyre near work I was easily able to get my car after they were done. Car works great now and even better, my final bill ended up slightly less than the quote they gave me! :)Neither you nor I should expect that every time, but what Im getting at is that there were no bad surprises here with their costs at least for my clear-cut service need, and Im happy with the repair they provided me.

Ive been going to Ali for about 7 years now and hes always been transparent, communicative, affordable, and friendly. It tough to find someone to trust when one isnt savvy with cars, but Ive never had any reason to not trust Ali. I say this because Ive never gotten any surprise large bill items that werent obviously necessary after all of these years though it wouldve been easy to slip-in if he was a dishonest businessman. I took my car for repair with multiple set of issues and my car was not in a fully drivable situation. Upon a referral from my friend, I took my car to Alis Auto repair. The work on my car was exceptionally done, and my car is fully functional now without any issues. The staff along with owner spoke well and were very friendly. Being a woman every time I went to big franchises, Firestone, Midas etc they diagnosis things that werent wrong w/ my car. Guessing problem. Cost $14.00 just to put car up on lift!! No joke! At Alis to theyre honest and not Petty but professional and sincere. They even have a courtesy car to take one home.

Ive been taking all of my vehicles to Alis for over 5 years now and I can honestly say this is the best mechanic/auto shop Ive ever used. Everyone at Alis is professional, knowledgable, but most importantly, honest. Im extremely wary of mechanics as the stereotypes tend to be true (sell you stuff you dont need, scare you into additional purchases, etc.), but Ali is different. Before they do any work on your vehicle, they will inspect it and go over the report with you. Ali and his staff will tell you things that may need to get done over the next year, or stuff that looks great. Ive never had a negative experience here. The prices are extremely reasonable for the amazing service you receive. In addition to this, the work they perform is top notch. Ive never experienced any problems with any repairs or maintenance Ive had done here because they put the time and effort into doing the job right.Finally, the best aspect of Alis is the peace of mind I get knowing that when I drive away, I didnt overpay for anything and the parts of my car that needed maintenance got fixed the right way. I didnt get sold anything I didnt need, and the service was timely and efficient. I strongly encourage you to come here for your future car maintenance. I know I will continue to use Alis until I either stop driving, or the shop closes.

I took my GTI to the shop to check for a check engine light, Alis auto repair, conducted an inspection and found nothing, and they didnt charge me for the quick computer check. Then I took my GTI a couple of weeks after to the shop again for an intake valve clean, they priced me at 1/5th of the price of what the dealership wouldve cost me, and the job was absolutely impressive. Summary, always ask for what is the price for each action they will do, must be specifically if you do not want to be as angry as I.I used to fix my car here, and Alis used to be good. The owner is good at all kind of knowledge and he lets me know how each single cent I spent for.However, when I revisited it a little bit more than one year later, it totally changed. I came here for a maintenance and just wanted to see what happen to my window as it cannot lift. When I got the bill, it is 170+. OK, the labor to check why my window doesnt work counts for more than a hundred bucks, but can you let me know ahead please? When I stopped by another mechanics, they said its a quick check and they can do it free in like 5-10 minutes.They showed me the policy, the diagnostic is at least 159+ USD, and they have already given me the discount. I have nothing to say, but can only be so regretful trusting them so much.I will never be here again. Or if I will be here again, I will spend at least 10 minutes to identify all actions and their cost.

I have been taking my 2 Toyota cars to Ali for last 8 years and he has always been wonderful. He is honest in his assessment and advise without any intentions to cheat. A couple of times, he has fixed minor issues for free. If you are looking for some trustworthy for your car, Ali is the guy.

Brought car in to get noisy exhaust fixed. Was quoted a reasonable price. Picked up car and was told it was good to go/quiet again, but in fact it was just as noisy. Immediately showed Ali, who pointed out the repair was not completed (even though 5 minutes earlier he told me it was and charged me the full amount). Even though I was lied to about it being fixed, and later told it was not fixed, Ali would not work with me on getting a full or partial refund. I do not recommend this place. The price was good, but the work and communication were not.

Good service and honest staff. I think all their prices have been fair and the service is quick and efficient. They even offer a shuttle service while your car is being worked on.

The team is very accommodative and provided appointment at the last minute to fix annoying noise generated while steering the wheels on the turns.

As a new business owner, Communication is Key for Customer Satisfaction. I dropped my Car off mid day on a Wednesday for a Thursday Service. Friday Morning my car was still being worked on with no communication they were still working on it. After voicing concerns as I made arrangements to be dropped off and pick up my car as I said I would upon drop off, Their process was expedited. Then I receive a $450 Invoice. My suggestion would be to do more research on all of your options. My particular service could have been $200.00 Cheaper by going a little further up to Kirkland. This one is on me. Lesson Learned!

This place is open on Saturday. Thats not why its four stars but it is very appreciated. The customer service and honest attitude I experienced is why it gets 4 stars. Ali is a good man.

I would love to write a positive review about Alis Auto Repair but unfortunately I cant.My vehicle repairs were completed over budget and over time.Not only that, my vehicle has new problems as a result of bringing my car there. The repair wasnt quality and actually messed things up more.And after several thousands of dollars I simply wont bring it back there because I dont trust them to fix it.Hopefully they can get it together because if youre like me you cant afford these disasters in your life.

Out of nowhere our cars check engine light came on and our car started shaking like crazy. We were far from home and were too nervous to drive it home. We looked up Alis online and hoped they would be able to help us. It was right before closing. After we told what was going on they took a look and squeezed us in to get the car back to road safe. They could have turned us away or massively overcharge us for the inconvenience, but they didnt. They took care of us quickly and charged a more than reasonable price. I would highly recommend going here.

They take advantage of you. labor costs are almost double than other places. They charge me 3 different price for the same work. The person in the office very rude and unprofessional. Theyre nothing but scammers, do not go here. I intend on reporting them to the Better Business Bureau!!!

Quite disappointed after being a customer of Alis for many years after being quoted a price of $1,850 to replace a differential with a used part because the new differential was to cost upwards of $3,500 to have the job done. Found a reputable shop with many positive reviews and had a brand new front differential installed for $1150, in 1 day. Thats a quite considerable difference in price, worth going elsewhere !!

I have been using Alis since they first opened in their shop in Bellevue back in 2005. I am a small business owner with a fleet of vehicles. What I appreciate about this shop is that you wont bring a car in for an oil change and be list of recommendations totalling $2600 (This happened to me once at another shop). He will let you know what needs to be done and what items will need to be addressed later. He wont attempt to milk you for more repairs. If youre located on Seattles Eastside, Id highly recommend you come to Alis the next time your vehicle needs to be serviced.

They are really nice, Very professional, and I trust them, but their prices are too high. Especially for any basic work that needs to get done. If you need something that require a lot of finesse and experitse, it might be worth paying the premium? But other than that I would shop elsewhere for basic work.

Frustrating as it can be from time to time to have to return my vehicle when the work doesnt get done on the first visit, I VALUE far more a businesss integrity and promises to back up their work by honoring their guarantee to make sure I am a happy customer and driving a car that works. ALIs garage is just such a business. Trust is difficult these days with mechanic shops. ALI can be trusted.

I had repairs done after a minor accident and Ali and his staff did fine work on my Prius and dealt with my insurance well. Ali kept me up to date on the status of my vehicle when I would call, and even calling me periodically with info.I am bringing my Prius in for some electric problems now that wont be covered under insurance. Alis quoted me a price 1/3 that the Toyota dealership quoted me. I am confident in this shops quality of work and level of honesty.

Went in with car unable to start, engine wasnt turning over and engine wasnt holding a charge even after driving it. Brought it in at end of day intending to do a drop-off and the owner, Ali, was curious regarding the issue and asked to see me try to start it.The engine wouldnt turn over or even click. He started fiddling with the battery and pushing its connectors to test their connectivity by hand for a minute or less. Going to the back he brought out a wrench and started tweaking the connectors then asked me to try it again. Car started up just fine and he smiled.He didnt charge me anything and wished me an excellent day; Ill be going back there for all my future car servicing.

I took my car to Alis for intermittent brake squealing problem. This was a difficult issue since the problem could not be reproduced consistently. They were incredibly thorough with their diagnostics. Instead of just replacing a bunch of parts and charging me, they meticulously examined all the brake parts and determined there was excessive dust in the braking system. They saved me money and fixed the problem. Thank you!

Alis very expen$ive auto repair: They seem to do good work, their labor time and rate was reasonable. Parts charges are a whole different story. Examples from my quote: spark plugs $20.96 *each*. PCV valve $18.84 (I spent $1.99 at a parts store). Crazed pricing on parts. Incorrect Ali. Your parts prices are ridiculous. The way repair shops are supposed to work is buy parts at wholesale prices and sell at retail. 4x to 10x retail prices is blatant theft.

If I could give lower than one star, I would. Was asked to pay $100 for a diagnostic that only included them looking at the wipers (that’s after my husband talked them down from $150) - the bill even said that further investigation would be needed! We walked away with a waaaaaaay overpriced wiper motor replacement. Estimate was $550 and the part only cost literally $60 when I look it up online. How the heck can it then cost that much to repair? Still with the ridiculous amount for the diagnostic, it will be cheaper for us to that the part ourselves and either DIY it or take it somewhere else. For the record, I called another highly rated place who also said that was completely outrageous and also noted that it likely would not even fix the problem when I described it to them. Jeez! Way to rip us off. Never coming back here and I’m glad we didn’t agree to that since they likely would have added on all kinds of stuff in the end when their fix didn’t work.

I wish I can give a zero star. I brought my car for an oil change and inspection at their place. Knowing I was going for the first time, they charged $60 for the oil change and without telling me ahead. Thats tolerable, but whats worse, they cheated me saying I need to replace rear brakes which I replaced not too long ago, at cost of $430 at their place, and radiator hoses at near $360, and two more other parts. Doubting these parts really need replacement, I took them to another repair store, having them check everything and they even checked twice for me. And they said all those parts Alis said need to replaced are still fine, no need to replace at all. Maybe Alis is good to old customers, I went to this place because I see the high review. However, they may cheat new customer, and do not have honesty at all.

I have taken my Nissan Murano here for 9 years, since I bought the car. My two race car mechanical engineering friends recommended Alis shop to me in 2006. Ali and his team have always provided excellent service, fair pricing (I have gotten multiple bids on some jobs so I know this), and have always stood behind their work. I never bothered to go anywhere else after I established my relationship with this shop and used them exclusively for nearly a decade. I recently moved to Alaska and Ali did a full service on my car, looking for any potential hiccup or issue that might come about in the next 12 months, per my request. I have not had any issues in a year, no surprise. Thanks Ali. I miss you guys!!!

Its probably on me to have asked ahead of time about whether or not they will charge for an estimate, but this was the first place Ive ever been to that did charge, and they wanted $179 for an estimate, and then the estimate was for $3,000 of work that another mechanic laughed at, I got everything fixed another mechanic for under 400 bucks parts and labor, and just super red having to pay Alis almost two hundred bucks to tell me that they wanted to rip me off.....save yourself the time effort and all of the money by going anywhere else other than Alis Bellevue Auto repair

Terrible place completely over priced. They quoted me over 1000 for a hub assembly ended up costing $300. Never use this place . If there were no stars i add that. First time leaving a review of any sort thought yall should know.

I would like to give -1000000 stars if yelp allows me to. We dropped the car off on a Sunday after accidentally filled up the tank with diesel by our occasional driver. We wrote on the envelope what to be done exactly, drain the diesel and fill up with proper gas.On Monday when we called them several times, the owner refused to let us know what work they have been doing to that car until everything is done, despite of what was written on the envelope. Instead they clean the fuel lines and replace the tank which are definitely not necessary to our knowledge, and they charge us a fortune of over $400 for this. We voiced out our concerns and we have proof what was written on the envelope, in his exact words, he said If you are not paying for this, you are not getting your car back.When we drove the car home, we noticed the road that we drove on had a trail of gas(not dripping, but flowing). This is the most ridiculous place that I have ever been to. We should have just fixed it ourselves and it would cost us a lot less.

Driving down from Vancouver and had this sudden crazy squealing in one brake. Pulled in there for help and they took me right away, pulled out a rock and sent me away with a smile, no charge! If i lived down here, they would def be my mechanic! Thanks again you guys!
