The maintenance team is top notch. They were prompt and always polite. We had a three bedroom townhouse, it was dated, but very clean. I have seen that they are remodeling and updating units, with new flooring and kitchens.We enjoyed the walking trails in the woods behind the complex. There are a couple different trails to choose from in the area. Willow Creek is also located very close to shopping and restaurants.

Honestly one star for this complex isn’t even appropriate to give. I give Willow Creek 0 stars. They had us come look at an apartment, told us no one else was interested and we could move in immediately once documentation was finished an accepted. Documentation was finished and approved but they never called back or answered the phone. Today when they finally answered after a week they said they gave the apartment to come one else because “first come first serve” even though our application was finished and accepted. Terrible professionalism, and I do not recommend this place on my worst enemy.

I was very impressed with my tour of the apartments. The office manager was very professional and very helpful. She even provided suggestions for other services I may need if I selected this complex. I havent made my decision yet, but this place is at the top of the list!

I walked in for an appointment I had made with someone the week before and this curly haired woman said, “couldn’t have been hear.” Extremely unprofessional. She didn’t say anything else. You would think someone wanting to rent you would try harder to at least be nice but I will never be coming back to the property. I suggest you fire Karen and get someone a little nicer.

The current office manager and maintenance guys are wonderful! Willow Creek finally has a great team!!!

The manager Katelyn is very professional and actually communicates with you. I would definitely recommend this place!

I have not rented here, but did visit and view a unit. Really good atmosphere, quiet, washer/dryer hookups in units (rent the w/d for an extra $40 monthly), beautiful balconies, overall lovely place. I knocked off two stars because they advertise as pet friendly, but discriminate against those with animals with ridiculous pet fees. Two cats should not cost $600 to move in. That is unacceptable. I hate management companies that do this. Ive always gotten my entire deposit (and pet deposits) back in my 20 years of renting. As a responsible pet owner, I refuse to rent from places charging nonrefundable (pet penalty) fees up front. Dont encourage the practice. Its bad enough that pet rent is an industry standard. These kinds of fees contribute to surrenders to animal shelters and re-homing. They break up families. Animal lovers look elsewhere.

Lived here because it was one of the nicest places to live in Battle Creek. They had a an outdoor fire pit/grilling area and dog run which was nice compared to other places I found in the area. Pretty quiet and relatively affordable

Due to these reviews I am not going to even bother filling out an application!! Wow!! I can relate on trying to get ahold of someone to get an app no return call let alone no one answered period!!

This property is ran by young, unprofessional narcisists that make serious problems with tenants, employees and venders. We call shenanigans on Bender Companies! Do not support such a buffoonery. You deserve better.

The absolute worst experience I have ever had. Problem after problem. Water leaks through the ceiling (of which we had a huge hole in the ceiling for three weeks, smelling mold and mildew with two infants), tons of bugs, broken doors and toilets. The best part is that management could care less. We called about all of these problems a total of roughly 15 times, and not one time did we ever receive a call back. Maintenance actually informed us that nothing was being done because management was simply ignoring our phone calls, and not passing them on to him, so since there was no work orders being done, he could not repair anything. We moved in May of this year, and from the start our air conditions unit was not only blowing out warm air, but did not work at all upstairs, forcing me to go out and buy a $350 portable air conditioner just to stay in our new apartment. The front offices were notified four or five times, and in the only response we got, we were told to close the vents on the bottom floor, we reiterated that it was blowing out hot air, as well as no pressure upstairs, but were totally ignored. We learned that basically you just have to live with any issues you have, because they absolutely will not be fixed, and your calls will be ignored. We also talked with neighbors who said they were being overrun with a bug infestation, and that they couldnt get a response either. Best part is, they expect their rent paid on time, even though they totally disregard their tenants concerns. I would never recommend this place to anyone, EVER! We then asked if we could use our security deposit to pay our last months lease breakage fee. We called several times with no response, leaving three or four voicemails. We then asked if we could set up a payment plan once we finally reached someone. The lady who answered proceeded to tell us that not only would she not talk with the property manager about setting something up, but that she would instead be turning us into collections, lol. The good news is I have a lawyer, and all of our phone records and complaints have been documented and provided to my lawyer, so we will be pursuing legal action against Willow Creek for their complete negligence and disregard for their residents. Willow Creek is absolutely disgusting, both from an apartment standpoint, and management standpoint. To anyone considering Willow Creek...RUN!

Even though its quiet here the walls are so thin, noise travels easily like the cold wind coming inside due to poor insulation. The rent is too much for such cheap construction.

The management do not care about their tenants, will not repair issues in a timely manner, rent is extremely high, maintenance does not respond to calls after business hours or on the weekend. The tenants must pay their rent online then they are charged a $15 processing fee to pay the rent online. The insulation was poorly done, during the winter I never knew from one day to the next if I was going to wake up with heat, hot water or a flooded laundry room. This place never felt like home. My experience was horrible. The offer sounded good, the office manager, that showed me talked a great game, the unit was nice but it was a real bait and switch once I was in there. My advice to you keep looking. YOU DO NOT WANT TO LIVE THERE.

Worst living experience I’ve ever had! Moved in around July of 2017 place was discusting when I moved in! Toilets were not cleaned and it was filthy!! Cabinets were stained and discusting, full of mold and caked on food. Had to have maintence come within the first 2 DAYS! Bc our hot water stopped working. They ended up coming back 2-3 more times that week bc the hot water kept shutting off. Come to find out water was pooling up in the hotwater heater and it needed to be replaced.. one of the bathroom cabinets were completely unuseable due to water damage. 3 weeks later they finally fixed the cabinet. Then they replaced the hot water heater and finally came and replaced the cabinet in the kitchen that had gotten ruined from it. Thought all was good and we wouldn’t have any more issues.. then our brand new cabinet had water spots in the bottom of it yet again... maintence has failed to come out and deal with it upon multiple requests! We decided to start looking for a new place. Told them we were leaving by December 1st (we were told 30 day notice when signing the lease.. now that we went to tell them it changed to 45 Days) now we have to pay a prorated rent...... it’s one issue after another! Not to mention they had to come out and spray for bugs which didn’t do anything. As we were just packing up we found another cabinet ruined and that also ruined my dishes. This place is discusting! Highly do NOT recommend living here EVER! I’ve never had this many issues anywhere and for the rent being as high as it is is rediculous...

I can hear the neighbors dog barking all day beside me and on the other side of me the neighbors constantly are banging rattling my pictures off the wall.. and I can hear all their business and full conversations, kids constantly crying. The walls are too thin.

Wonderful place to stay with us except pets are roaming without chains and scary sometimes. Management is awesome . Wonderful maintenance people and works are made then there. Great work . Feel like home here for me and my family. All together awesome 👍😎 place.
