Happened upon Grease Monkey driving down Sherwood Forest needing an oil change quickly. Very pleasant young man in charge and service couldnt have been better. Waiting room and bathroom is clean and well stocked. Will definitely be back. Good luck to these men.

Phillip answered all my questions over the phone very politely, and when I brought my car in he was so nice and patient with me! Darryl took my car and had it fixed in less than 8 minutes, and the entire process took under 15. They didn’t even charge me for fixing the part of my car that was loose and were so nice about it. The waiting room was nice and had water and coffee and I’m really impressed that the service was so polite and friendly. Usually I feel like people are trying to sell me a bunch of stuff when I take my car in but I never felt weird of pressured here, which was awesome.

I had my oil changed done by Grease Monkey on S. Sherwood Forest today. Anthony and Andre were the two guys who helped me out while I was there. They were extremely polite, professional and knowledgeable about their work. They have screens in the lobby to watch them work with a timer so you can watch how long it is taking. They still had 12 minutes left on the timer when they had finished. I will definitely continue to use this company.

I have never used Grease Monkey in the past. It is a little gem tucked away on Sherwood by Airline. I will 100% in the future use Grease Monkey.1. I didnt have to wait in a line.2. It was so fast!3. I had never been to Grease Monkey before and I had gotten a free oil change coupon from work and decided to use it. I really enjoyed the experience. I was in and out. Dre was the tech I talked to and Anthony changed my oil. They also vacuumed the car and checked all my fluids and topped them off. Any additional recommended services Dre informed me of but wasnt pushy about them, Ill definitely go back and get my car worked on by them again.

Went on an unexpected road trip and had to get an oil change on my new diesel VW SUV. I had called multiple other shops but they didn’t have the filter in stock. I called Grease Monkey and Phil answered the phone. He was very friendly and answered all my questions thoroughly. I was discouraged already from calling around and being told the part wasn’t in stock, so I asked Phil if he could look up the part and set it aside for me. After arriving, he went over pricing, mentioned vacuuming the inside was a free service (heck yeah!?) and kept me updated the whole time. He also noticed my engine filter needed to be changed and took care of that very swiftly! I definitely recommend Grease Monkey and will be returning! Thank you to all.

I had a brake change done at a previous mechanic that wasnt good at all, so I brought it to these guys and they had my car fixed up in no time. I was amazed by Phil especially, his professionalism and promptness was outstanding, and on top of that, he was about as down to earth as he could be. While there another individual was getting their truck serviced. Long story short, they absolutely didnt have to do what they did but honesty and integrity won the day. You can tell it is a top down culture there and I will no longer take my truck anywhere else but here!

I love the fact that there are monitors in the lobby so you can see your car being serviced. Its a breath of fresh air to see some transparency for a change. I also like that they check up on a few extra things and give you a heads up on maintenance that you may need. Great experience. 10/10, will do again.

Look elsewhere.Absolutely no confidence in this place.I’m surprised with the amount of good reviews on here.For one, this apparent 16 Point inspection is just some marketing technique because the things that are marked as completed were not. (Like vacuum interior, wash exterior windows, chassis lubrication) it’s not expected to be done when typically getting an oil change but why put it on there. Not much of the others were checked as I was in the car watching the whole time.Secondly the tech claimed the oil was for 6000 miles but it’s rated for only 3000. Took them a while to figure out what kind of oil to even put in the car. That lack of confidence is pretty concerning when it’s about your vehicle. It’s disappointing that I now have to double check everything to make sure nothing was done incorrectly.I also came here because of their 25% military discount on the site. When I asked for it and showed proof with Active military ID, he took $10 off and told me it was more than 25%....It doesn’t take a mathematician to know that prior to taxes 25% off of 147.04 is 36.76 not 10.What amazed me was also a lack of knowledge as I’ve never seen someone rotate tires the wrong way and torque the nuts clockwise instead of a star pattern.Lastly you would think that they would remember to reset the service reminder in the car but no one did. You would also expect to get a reminder sticker on the windshield for your next recommended oil change, but again no one did. I failed to mention there were 4 techs there and for the majority of the hour and 20 minutes I spent there, I was the only customer there.This was definitely a lesson learned. An expensive one at that. $150 down the drain. I went here because I couldn’t get an appointment at KIA, but hopefully this helps someone else out.

Came out to get my oil changed during my lunch break. The location was convenient and easy to find. I was greeted in a professional manner and they started working on my vehicle as soon as I arrived. The waiting room was very nice, with monitors of them performing the maintenance on my car. They also provided snacks and drinks, which I took advantage of. The prices were reasonable and it took less than 30 minutes to complete. I will return!

I usually don’t take the time to write reviews on google, but the service I received at Grease Monkey deserves credit where credit is due. I am new to the area and when I took my vehicle there the service was friendly and very professional. I felt like I had been going there for years. I brought my car in for an oil change, and the staff brought some other issues to my attention. I felt like I was dealing with real customer service and not a salesman. Theyre very personable and will treat you like youre an old friend. Only issue is that theres only one technician. Meaning that no one else really knows the problem you may have with your car and youll have to wait for the technician to get there to find a problem.

To most people Im just and average person but Im actually a business owner. I can personally tell you that this place is amazing. The first time I went I was taken care of so much better than a place I had been going for YEARS. The guy in charge, I think his name is Steve(forgive me if its not.) and hes amazing. Hands down, the most professional and knowledgeable staff (Bobby) at Sherwood Forest. I was at another location just doors down....however, so glad I tried this place too over the dealership for my old 2013 Mercedes C250. I was in/out in about 20 minutes with an oil and low beam headlight change, radiator flush, and general inspection, today.The agony I encountered this past week trying to get this done was crazy. Another location on Siegen I walked in & cancelled because he wanted to take off my bumper for a headlight (WTH) which would be 2 hrs. No way buddy. Although I know nothing about cars, whatsoever; Bobby explained everything in great details about what they were doing, why, and welcomed my feedback. Plus, u can see it all live on the screen whilst you wait in an impeccably clean and very welcoming lobby stocked with K-cups, snacks, and sodas. Btw, need a lock on the bathroom door, but it was very clean too. Thank You guys very much for task(s) well done!

Service was so good on my initial visit on Drusilla that I actually brought both of my vehicles to this location in the same week. Had the pleasure of meeting the owner Steve. Very professional, fair pricing, excellent what I would call transparent service. Meaning that I didnt at ANY time during my transactions feel the typical fear of bait and switch or pushing of unnecessary work that I feel at most repair/service businesses. I normally stay very close to the brand dealerships on my vehicles. My Honda and Jeep are both out of warranty now and I will be bringing them both to these guys moving forward. Certainly earned my respect and my businesses. If you are reading this review you should give this new locally owned business an opportunity to earn your businesses, money well spent...

Grease Monkey at Drusilla Lane and S. Sherwood Forest Blvd. have done such a great job taking care of our fleet of commercial vans (like finding sucked-in cabin filters or discovering new vans had filters missing from the factory), so we referred a family member to them for repair to his older model personal vehicle. This Honda Civic had been overheating even after multiple radiator and thermostat sensor replacements done by other mechanics. The knowledgeable crew at Grease Monkey - S. Sherwood Forest discovered the other mechanics had failed to remove an air gap in the radiator which made the water pump cavitate (apparently a known Honda issue since the radiator sits lower than the engine). After correcting that issue and replacing the worn out water pump, they performed diagnostic tests that confirmed the engine was still good (thank goodness), charged up the AC compressor (whoohoo!!!), and got the car running smooth as can be! We are overjoyed with the more-than-fair pricing and the quick turn-around for the repairs. They really do treat you like family! Thank you, Grease Monkey!

Best service Ive had from a shop in a long time. My husband works over the road, were constantly in new states. It was very comforting and professional. Cleaned my windows and vacuumed my floor boards too!

Usually I hate going to the mechanic, but I can honestly say I had a pleasant experience. I barely waited an hour (I got a tune up done on my Nissan Altima), the waiting area was VERY nice & the employees are very kind. I will definitely be going back next time my car needs to be serviced.
