Kevin is AMAZING. I have been to many of nail shops and my nails have lasted over 3 weeks! No cracking or lifting at all. If you need good prices, a clean environment & a great set of long lasting nails, this is the place to be!
I went to Highland Nails and Spa in the middle of the day on a Tuesday. There was one other customer in there when I went, so they definitely weren’t busy. They did my manicure and pedicure at the same time, so it was the opposite of relaxing. It felt very rushed even though there was no reason for them to rush considering there were only 2 clients in the building. Once I left, I noticed the polish on one of my toenails was messed up, but didn’t feel like going back in to get them to fix it since I felt like a bother to them in the first place. Wouldn’t recommend.
The lady that did my pedicure was not friendly and rushed me out. She used a cheapEmory board that hurt and super hot water. As soon as she was done and I sat for the drying process she came and said I need you toPay me. I didn’t get full service I paid for. Very rushed. Not coming back and will spread the word
They are horrible the charged me 65 dollars for nails but they didnt do good because they made everything uneven.0 stars
Ms. Kim was awesome! Friendly staff. Will definitely visit again!
They messed up real bad on my nails 0 stars
I tried to this location on multiple occasions service and quality of work leaves much to desire. They didnt listen to what I wanted. I will not go again
Jenny does a good job but shes hard to get with her schedule.
DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!! If I could give a zero rating that is what they deserve. My elderly Mom and I walked in at 6:05pm (they closed at 7pm) and the first thing one of the workers said was Come back tomorrow, we are tired. We have people in the back and we cannot serve you. What in the world? I used to live here and now live in Katy, TX and would never have been treated this way. I asked if there was a nail salon nearby and she said, Yes, across the street. So Mom and I went to Lilly Nails and had 4 wonderful people waiting for us and gave us exceptional service. We were even out by 7pm!! GO TO LILLY NAILS OR SOMEWHERE ELSE, DO NOT GO HERE!
New to Baton Rouge and I went in today for an American gel manicure. Totally disgusted with the sanitation factor. Not only did they not use sterile tools, but the cuticle cutter came out of a plastic package with a lot of small nail particles/trash/crumbs in the bottom of it. Once she was done with it she simply wiped off my skin clippings with a paper towel, replaced the blade cover and put it back in the package. Also used a used nail file and buffer. Will definitely not be back here. This place is a bacterial/fungal infection waiting to happen.
Although they are really good at nails they are extremely rude. They are not friendly at all
I came in on Tuesday evening to get a French manicure, and its the best one I have ever had. They are very friendly and patient! I recommend going here 👍
Never going back. I was cut each time on last 3 visits. Got not so much as a sorry. Am sure they no longer sanitize tools as clippers for manicure was pulled from the nail techs pocket. After they trimmed my toe nails (and cut me) those clippers were returned to the drawer. Next day could not tell I had a fresh manicure ended up getting another manicure 3 days later.
$30 pedicure included a hot stone massage and wax foot wrap. Very impressed! They also have a cute little pink butterfly chair for the littles to go with mommy.
My nails look amazing and so do my eyebrows. Thank you so much!
Dip nails last forever! Love the staff.
I usually go to tulip nails off Perkins but I was in a rush so I decided to go to highland nails since it was right by my home. When I entered I was told to pick a color after I was asked what I wanted? I picked the color sat in the waiting area because they only had 3 workers and they already had 3 customers I was told it would be around a 10 minute wait which I actually waited 20 minutes before I left. Before I left another lady caucasian walked in and picked her color and sat in the waiting area to be served. A nail tech finished with a customer and instead of taking me she told me that I had to wait and took the other lady and started to work on her. At that point I can now see that my service was not wanted so I left and went across the street to lily nails that did a wonderful job on my hands and feet. Highland nails definitely showed a racist action yesterday and Im going to make sure to leave a review anywhere I see you can for them!
I didnt wait long, even though it was Saturday. People were friendly. I would return.
Pedicure was super rushed and did not massage for more than a minute and barely got dead skin off feet. I did like the way my dip nails came out. One major thing that bothered me is their tools are not cleaned or sanitized properly. I have had a painful infected finger nail a while back from another place because of this reason, so for that reason alone, i give 2 stars.
My wife and I have been coming here over 8 yrs for pedicures. They are very professional and friendly. I highly recommend their $34.00 pedicure which including a long feet massage with hot stone and parafin wax wrap. Especially, they also use antibacterial wipes to wipe the whole pedicure chair beside sanitizing the pedi tub after each customer. Super clean! This is the best pedi place in Baton Rouge!
Professional, friendly service at a good price, my nails always look beautiful. Been going there for 3 years and wont go anywhere else unless Im out of town.
The people there are very friendly. THis is the best Pedicure I have had, they use hot stones and wax you feet. They are very cleans clean wiht wipes after each customer.
Love the customer service and professionalism here
Best selection of dip colors in the city!
