This is THE WORST nail salon in Baton Rouge. I have never been treated this poorly at a nail salon, even in general really! The lady was extremely ugly with her attitude, didn’t want to be there clearly, flipped out over a simple request to change colors very early on in the painting process, went on and on and on about how mad she was that I just asked for a different polish color. The owner even hanging up on yelling at me. And truly, this is coming from someone who knows how a lot of high maintenance customers can be, so being of aware of my delivery and how I come across to NOT be that way is something I’m highly in tuned to, as I am an esthetician.I’m in the same world essentially as the nail techs. So again, I was very aware of my tone and how I asked politely and even apologized.. (when I really shouldn’t) in asking of another color. She painted maybe 2 nails and the polish was clearly old and of poor quality. I will never be back to this place. I felt like I was in the twilight zone in how bad they treated me. Never ever go here.

Wasnt please with my pedicure was the first time I came here and she cut my toe nails way too short and I had to come back because they over charged me but the owner was very understanding and helpful

I went in for powder (dip) nails because I was having my engagement photo shoot the same day. One technician soaked the existing powder off my nails. Then a second technician came to do my manicure. Except there was no manicure! My nail technician proceeded to dip my nails as usual - without ever doing an actual manicure. I have very dry skin around my nails and not once did she push my cuticles back or remove any dry skin or hangnails from around the nail bed. I have never in my life experienced this. In all fairness, the dip nails turned out beautifully. But when I look at my nails, all I can see is the dry skin :(

Great service and a beautiful job done every time. I have been going here for years. Lots of new options such as chrome nails, etc. Highly recommend this place.

I’ve been coming to Moderns Nails for my pedicures for over 20 years. They do the best job, are very friendly and no one can remove an ingrown toe nail better! I come from another parish just to have my feet done here.

The lady that was with me was very harsh! The place was not clean there was only two people there and a 10 minutes Wait and I was there before anyone was there. I will not be coming back.

I was pleased with the pleasantness of the staff, however, I did not quite like how my nails were done. They could have been filled in better and another coat or two of polish would have been nice.

Meh....went there for the first and LAST time! Charged me 47 dollars for a powder dip set with my real nail and eyebrow waxing🤔🤔🤔. The tech was very persuasive in trying to have me put on fake nails and because I said no and that my nails are short, I was charged extra. They gave me no manicure although I asked for it, and the tech was looking very closely to me to see if I would tip her when signing my slip, but I shouldnt have tipped at all. Wont be going there again...

Im actually sitting in the salon right and have been waiting f for at least 15 minutes for someone to start on my nails. When we came in no one really said hello, but a friend recommended this nail salon. Only 3 people working and one of the working just went MIA. Like really??!!!!! This will be my first and LAST TIME coming here. Give your money to some other nail salon. They could do a good job but their service is VERY VERY POOR!!!!

Service is great, but if you dont opt for gel nails your nails will never dry and they will get ruined.. even after letting the fan blow on your toes and fingers for more than 10 minutes with both a fix on the toe and the hand.. left the nail shop and my polish is ruined still. Service and conversation is awesome
