I had Nicole she was great. I Pick a color and it wasnt so great against my skins Nicole went out her way to improve the color found a match that was a perfect shad I was looking for. This kind of service is worth the price. Friendly, thoughtful and clean!

I got a gel manicure last Thursday. The following day, I already had one chipped nail. By day two, three chipped nails. I left a voicemail informing Orchid and asking to come in for a repair. No one ever called me back. Also, gel removal process was painful, which it shouldn’t be and regularly is not, and technician pushed/dug way too hard. Disappointing quality and service.

I’ve returned here several times for pedicures. This is my second time getting my nails done. A lot of time was spent perfecting the shape and I appreciated that. The nail art didn’t come out as great as I hoped but still satisfied. After seeing something online, I am now realizing the electric file had a used file on it and it was not changed before using on my nails. I find it to be a little pricy here and many extra charges. For paying $120 for my nails, I think the sanitary issue needs to be addressed. I would like to continue visiting if that could be handled.

Went in for a relaxing experience after a stressful month and the employees were kind, professional, and so good at what they do!!! My pedicure and manicure was done by Ross and he was excellent! My favorite part of pedicures is the foot/leg massage and it was one of the best I’ve had! He worked so intentionally to make sure my nails were perfect too. Will definitely return. This is my first and probably my last time going to this salon . The nail tech that did my acrylic nails kept expressing that none of the nail techs wanted to do my nails because they were so short . Instead of being patient and taking her time, she rushed through it and cut me multiple times and none of my nails are the same shape .I also got a pedicure that was rushed and not worth the price, considering I got a deluxe 1 hour pedicure that lasted 30 mins .I paid 200$ for services that weren’t worth it . For that price I would expect class A nails and that’s not nearly what I got . I wouldn’t go here if you’re trying to get nails to impress .

Disappointed because this was my first time going from a recommendation and i got dip with tips and it looks really bad. the shape is uneven, my skin is pink, there’s polish running over my cuticles….just a mess and wasn’t worth $60. i’m disappointed

I went there today expecting a great turn out and I am so disappointed in this place. The customer service was good and everyone was friendly but my nails look horrible and I had my nails done hours before making this review.I had a color change and a pedicure which was beautiful until I got home. My nails (shellac polish) are chipped and they look HORRIBLE! I spent $105 at this place and I am so upset b/c now I have to go to work looking foolish with chipped HOT PINK nails! I won’t be returning to this place ever again. Today was my first and last time going there!

Ive been coming here once a month for almost a year and they never disappoint! The staff is always super nice and they do a great job! My dipping powder usually last 3-4 weeks and I always get compliments on them. My boyfriend even started coming get pedicures with me and he also loves this place! The salon is very clean and relaxing. Its hands down the best salon Ive been to in Baton Rouge.

The staff here do a Great job on all of their services. They are using safety measures with plexiglass and distancing between customers. Go early and you may be the only customer there. Very nice staff. Pedicures are relaxing and they make sure the customer is pleased.

Great place! Very friendly staff, exceptionally clean and pleasant enviornment. The pedicure chairs are also massage chairs, and they have the biggest selection of nail colors I have ever seen.

Not friendly at all, treated like I was an inconvenience the entire time I was there. Rushed through my manicure and then charged $15 more than the prices were listed at. The lady doing my nails did not let the bottom layers dry before painting over them (regular polish), 2 hours later all of my nails are sliding and peeling off. Paid $50 for a manicure that did not even last a day.

Positively the best place to get a pedicure! The service is second to none! They always try to accommodate your schedule! They are very friendly and offer unique treatment packages. It by far is the most peaceful, clean, and positive spa of its kind! I highly recommend them to anyone!

They did an amazing job but was way to expensive 183.00 for eyebrows n lip wax 30 dollar pedicure n white tip which they did the dip then with tip it cost me 200.00 amazing work but way to expensive!!!!!

I got a staph infection from a pedicure in October 2018. After 4 weeks just applying cream, it wasn’t healed. I went to the doctor. After 2 weeks on Bactrim, it was mostly healed. What fully healed it was getting another pedicure, done correctly with clean tools at a Blissful. Highly recommend that place. Orchid, it sucks. Very expensive, long wait, and they make you bleed quite frequently. You may even end up with a staph infection🤷🏻‍♀️

Okay so first off I have to admit that this wasnt my first choice. I usually have a go-to nail salon down the street but after todays visit I am making Orchid Nail Salon my new go-to!I was surprisingly impressed when I walked in...very nice decor and calming environment. When they asked what services I wanted, they actually looked up at me as if I was a...gasp...real person that they wanted to service aside from another nuisance walking in messing up their lunch time. The technicians were friendly, paid close attention to detail. I was hesitant on getting matte but the owner said if they messed up that he would repair them free of charge! They offer a vast of nail services. Love love love this salon! 5 stars!

Very clean place and my first visit was pleasant. My second visit not so much! Nail tech Nancy is not so nice. She asked if I wanted my toes trimmed or shaped, I said shaped. As she was trimming my cuticles, she hurt my toe. I pulled my foot back and she said she was sorry. Then she proceeded to do the same thing again and when I tried to pull my foot away she held on to it. I said to leave that toe alone because it hurt. She then picked up the clippers and cut my toenail after I said not to! They werent even long enough that they needed trimming. Reluctantly I let her finish my pedicure without anymore pain being inflicted on me.

If i could give zero stars i would, was a regular customer there. Manager/ owner was very rude to me after i gave dip nails a try and they lasted 3 days. On day three when they started chipping, I went in and he said they would fix it. Waited a while, had to get my kids so I left. Two days later i went in and waited 30 minutes. I advised the nail tech that was up front that I would come back the following day. The following day i returned and waited 30 minutes, I advised the owner that i would come back the next day which was Saturday morning because I needed to pick my kids up. I also said to him that it was my third time coming. He to me if i needed it fixed I had to wait, I told him that i could try and wait 10 more minutes, but after i would have to leave and go get my kids, I did tell him i would come back the following morning. After I sat down the owner comes up to me and starts an argument he raised his voice saying that i had to wait behind the customers that were there, I advised to him that wasnt a problem the problem is that i spent 45 dollars on dip polish that chipped after three days and I shouldnt have to come back on several trips, if i am a loyal customer and I spend plenty of money there. He really treated me terribly, I will never return.

I have always had a great experience here. I am very conscious of the cleanliness of nail salons, and Orchid never disappoints. The staff is quick, friendly, and great at what they do. They keep me coming back.

The nail tech that did my toes was not only filing my nail but also my skin! Which wasnt a big deal at first, Im tough and not the type to really say anything... until I woke up in the middle of the night with pain shooting from a tiny cut all the way up my leg and back down. It was throbbing so hard I couldnt sleep, much less walk. I tried elevating it and putting ice on it but that didnt really help either. Good thing I didnt have to work the next couple of days because I was limping... so crazy. Definitely not worth the $130 I ended up spending.

I tried a handful of nail salons around BR before discovering this lovely place. Its squeaky clean, the employees are always friendly and helpful, and they do a wonderful job! Its a relaxing, well designed environment too.

Best nail spa in town...

I have been coming here regularly for about two years after looking for a nail salon that’s open sunday. they’re extremely clean and very detailed. i’ve never left here disappointed. they are little more pricey than other salons, however i’m more than willing to pay extra for the amazing service that i haven’t found anywhere else. the owner is really sweet and always makes sure you are as comfortable as possible and that all your needs are fulfilled.

My first time there, the staff was all very nice. Jason did a wonderful job, I will be returning and asking for him again.

The service is friendly and fast, but not too fast. The quality of work is quite nice. I get pedicures here on a regular basis.

Had a nail- mergency and my normal nail tech is closed on sundays. Walked in and it smelled like a porta potty. Asked for a refill and my toes painted (came in with two nails already messed up so I knew I would be charged extra) 30 for refill and repair. Okay That sounds right. Was charged $20 extra for French tips. Plus $5 because they were pink. Plus $20 for my toes to be painted. On top of a high price, my nails are NOT smooth, and the two nails I had repaired are NOT EVEN THE SAME SIZE as the rest of them. Def not worth the price and hot water bottle I recieved

Rushed the entire manicure. Technician ripped cuticles so hard they started to bleed. While she was filing my toenails she began to file my skin. Not very friendly technicians. Unprofessional as well. I will probably never be back.

I got the dip nails and left with so much powder on my hands that I had to go back inside before I got it on my car. Vu used acetone to clean my hands up and messed up 4 nails that were just done. I also asked the price of dip with a manicure and was told 45 but was charged 55 when I checked out. I spoke with the owner who was very rude and condescending and I will not be back.

The owner, Steven, has anger management issues and his new employee, Amber, is rude and has no concept of good customer service. I hope everyone will take the time to read this before patronizing his establishment. I am a highly educated, professional woman and I was appalled at how I was treated in Orchid on 06-11-17. Ive been getting my nails done at Orchid every two weeks since Steven opened his shop last year. My 7 year old daughter also gets her nails done and I spend at least $150-$200 dollars every month in service fees and tips for our nails. This past Sunday Amber was polishing my daughters toenails and fingernails. When she finished polishing her toenails my daughter told me she had to use the restroom and she accidentally smeared the polish on her big toe. Amber fixed her polish and I went to the nail station to get my nails done. After about 35 minutes, my daughter told me she had to use the restroom again. When she came out of the restroom she had smeared her big toenail polish again. I didnt ask anyone to repair it but Im assuming Stevens cousin, Winn, mustve asked Amber to repair it because he said something to her in Vietnamese, she threw her hand up and looked irritated and then five minutes later she asked my daughter to go sit in the pedicure chair. I couldnt see where they were from my chair but after about ten minutes Amber came storming around to where I was and told me very loudly and rudely that she had polished my daughters nail four times and she wasnt going to do it anymore. I didnt like her tone or how she approached me so I simply told her to get away from me. Steven, the owner, then comes around to where I am and confronts me in a loud voice telling me my daughter keeps moving and theyre not going to do her nails anymore. I told him she was a child and they move but if Amber wanted me to tell her to stop moving she shouldve told me that instead of rudely accosting me and telling me what shes not going to do when Im paying her for a service. He continues to talk loudly at me and I told him ok and he walks away because at this point Im feeling bullied. The shop was closing and there were two women getting manicures sitting next to me. After twenty minutes they left and when they left and my daughter and I were the only ones left in the salon, Steven came back around to my station and starts YELLING at me in a very confrontational way. I was so shocked and I felt threatened by this man continuing to confront me about having to repolish an eight year olds toenail. I told him I was never coming back in his salon and I got up to leave. As I was walking to the register he proceeded to get directly behind me and yell in my ear. It was so bad that his mom, Kim, grabbed his arm and told him to stop. He jerked his arm from his mom and yelled at her in Vietnamese. It was all so verbally abusive and threatening that I was completely speechless. I paid for our services, which was $76 go figure, and I tipped his cousin, Winn, $5. Winn apologized to me but I was just mortified by the whole experience and that my seven year old daughter had to be exposed to something like that. Ive been getting my nails done every two weeks for 17 years now and Ive frequented salons in several cities. Ive never seen such a display of utter disrespect and unprofessional in any other place of business. I would rate this salon ZERO stars if I could and I caution every woman to think twice before giving them their business. Especially if they have young children with them.

They turned me away because my nails were to long, they don’t do long nails. Never been to a nail salon who only specialize in short nails.

Ive been getting the works done at nail salons in Baton Rouge for the past 15 years and this is hands down my favorite. After a long week I look forward to visiting Orchid and all of its friendly staff.
