I sent an email inquiring about heating service on Saturday. Monday morning around 9am I received a callback; this was the only company out of the 6 I emailed to contact me. The lady who called was very sweet and even though it wasnt urgent she was able to book me in for same day service! Jorge was my technician, he was on time, quick, explained everything I had questions about without rushing. Im so glad that Holders was the company to call me, Ill be sticking with them for all our hot and cold needs!

I was so impressed with both Ryan, John and Jacob at Holders, they gave me a very competitive estimate. Work was done fast and efficiently, this team worked well together and had all work done in two days. They installed 2 units a 4 ton and 3.5 ton including an extra duct in master bed room.There are no Toyota brand(super reliable) in the AC world, some are better then others. Goodman is mid-tier and made in USA, from my research. My house was made in 1999 so my old AC units were more then 20 years old, they still worked, but were load and S.E.E.R rating was really bad. New Goodman are super quite and much more efficient. This week in Bakersfield, CA temperatures(6/1-6/6 2021) over 100 degrees was the first test of the Goodmans, installed 3/2021. They are working very well and are keeping my family very cool. Thanks Holders have a great summer.

Its the law of nature that on the hottest day of summer the AC will fail! Holders came out and promptly identified the problem as the blower motor, but wouldnt be able to get the part until Monday (this was on Saturday). On Monday, Holders worked with us to be able to pick up the part in Fresno instead of waiting for part to be shipped. They even called to make sure I had no problem picking up the part and was safely on my way home. The repair person was at my house within a half hour of when I returned with the part and had my AC running shortly thereafter. Great attention to service...and the part was still under warranty!

I have a house that is 1.5 yrs old and the compressor went out. I had an independent contractor come out and take a look at the unit. What they found was A. The unit was wired backwards and B. The wrong size breakers were installed. When Holders was contacted they replied that they would not cover the expense of fixing the AC unit. They said that wiring backwards wouldnt hurt the unit. I replied that the is a schematic of how to wire right on the unit and if that didnt matter it wouldnt be posted on unit. His a company doesnt stand by their work should we as consumers

Our first time experience and was very satisfied with the quality of service and staff. Timing was of the essence and on oxygen 24 a day and the technician was a top notch and cares about us veterans considering howHot it was that day and the time spent in repair and service he Holders hasMy support and will let my brothersand sisters know the experience and effort plus the time spent to replace the compressor and fan to get me going i will put them up on my referral page and see them soon . The cost cannot have been at a better time staff is great. Disabled veteran.

Holders fixed our A/C the day we called them. They prioritize customers who have “no cool” A/C, so you can count on them to take care of you in the Bakersfield heat. Professional service at a great price...and a local, multigenerational, family-owned business to boot! Highly Recommended

The technician, Brylon, called when he was on his way, plus I received an Email that showed his picture, etc., which enabled me to see who would be coming in my home. He arrived on time, was friendly, professional, explained everything he was going to do and afterward what he did. Brylon also reminding me of my fall maintenance for my heating unit. I highly recommend Holders!

I always meet the HVAC techs, and go on the roof with them to observe what they are doing and ask questions. This is the third HVAC company I have used in 4 1/2 years and the only that I have been satisfied with. My winter service was exceptional. The cleaning of the fire tubes, ignition area. The. voltage checks, were done as well as temp differential, and inside the home CO2 check. Perfect! This young man (25) or so, was the must thorough. At this point i have reason the look further for the type of service. The price was very good with exceptional service.

We were in the market for new A/C and furnace units and had such a great experience speaking with Ronnie. He returned our call quickly and spent a lot of time answering our questions. He was very professional and kind and willing to work with our schedule to address our needs even if it required a late in the evening appointment. We ended up purchasing our units through a different company that we had experience working with in the past but well keep Holders in mind for future needs and to reference to friends and family. I called Holders out to look at my AC unit as it was not reaching the temperature . Mind you my AC unit still was working it just was not reaching temperature like it had been. The owners son came out to diagnose the situation. Before he left, he said that his office would give us a quote to repair the blockage in the coils. The very next day after the service guy left our facility felt like a sauna. The thermostat would not reach temperature at all. It was at a 20 degree slit. He did not advise us that we should not use the unit or anything. All he said was that the office would give us a call with a quote for the repairs. When I called to follow up days later the service department indicated that we needed new evaporation coils that half the coils worked and the other half did not. The parts would need to be shipped from Texas and we would have to wait 7 days, meanwhile we had been suffering in the HEAT. TOTAL QUOTE $3500!!! $3500 when our unit was still in working conditions. Temp was just slightly off maybe by 5 degree slit. I called another company for a second opinion they stated THE UNIT WAS UNPLUGGED (THE UNIT IS ON THE ROOF). The company that I called out plugged the unit back in then allowed time to test it. Immediately, we felt the cold air blowing. The company came back out later in the day, tested the unit, and it was running perfectly fine. I called Holders to discuss the discoveries of the situation . The service manager read me the notes of the service tech (owners son) No where did it he note that he unplugged the unit. In order for the manager to get a better understanding of the issue he called him on another line, I can hear his conversation over the phone asking him what transpired. When the manager came back on the line he apologized trying to tell me that this was not planned to rip us off as this is what it looks like. Their lack of communication is horrible AND UNPROFESSIONAL. When the manager was apologizing as they were at fault of this whole ordeal. I asked the manager why would our unit be working now but you wanted us to spend $3500 for new coils that we clearly did not need... he replied it could have been a blockage that fixed itself!!! WHY WAS THAT NOT TOLD TO US THAT THAT COULD HAPPEN? SO... they could have came back out to check if the blockage fixed itself NO, according to them we needed new coils that would cost $3500!!! Im appalled.WHY DID THE TECH NOT TELL US TO BE PREPARED THE AIR IS GOING TO GET HOT? (they could not tell us) WHY DID HE NOT TELL US WE NEEDED TO TURN THE UNIT OFF? (simple communication) WHY WOULD THEY ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN TO A CUSTOMER? (just let us sit in the heat so you can make a buck to then just come back and turn it on) AND WHY WOULD THEY ALLOW US TO SIT IN THE HEAT FOR DAYS!!!HAD WE NOT GOTTEN A SECOND OPINION WE WOULD HAVE BEEN RIPPED OFF!!! MAKE SURE YOU GET A SECOND OPINION AS THEY COULD BE RIPPING YOU OFF!

I’m a Senior citizen, former residential construction superintendent and former local building inspector. The fan motor went out on my roof mount unit. Holders showed up within one hour of my call and diagnosed the problem, a short in the fan motor. They ordered a replacement that showed up the next day (Thursday). Turns out it was sent with the wrong control board. They let me know late Thursday pm about the problem. I was told they would send a technician to Fresno to get the correct motor, which is exactly what they did. By 2:30pm Friday I had heat.As far as I am concerned they went well above and beyond to see to it that I had heat for the weekend! The motor they picked up in Fresno was actually more expensive, but they kept the quoted price and even gave me a 10% discount.You can not beat this sort of customer commitment and their focus on customer satisfaction.As long as they will have me, I am a customer for life! Scheduled an appointment and availability was great getting the day/time I needed. Service technician Randy gave me a call to make sure I was home and was at my house in the time promised. Randy took the time to show me everything he was performing on my unit. I was told by some other companies tech that my compressor fan was faulty and Randy disproved that by showing me my unit’s ratings on his electrical reading devices were good. Randy then narrowed down my problem and now my unit is good to go. Hands down awesome customer service! Lastly, shout out to Roger Jr...cool seeing your winning racing results in the Californian.

They came out and inspected the air conditioning and charged a fee for inspecting the air conditioning then told me I just needed to refill my freon. Fast forward one day later and all the freon has leaked out. I called them back and they tell me got the inspection didnt include checking for Freon leaks and Im basically out the $400 that I paid unless I wanted to apply that towards a new air conditioner. Bad service not happy! Used another AC guy who fixed it quickly and 2 months later it is still working.

Holders helped me install two state-of-the-art HVAC systems in a century-old mountain ranch house and adjoining guest house that previously were heated only with wood burning stoves and had no AC. It was a complicated, custom project in every sense. The system design was thoughtful and perfectly suited to our needs, and the Holders crew were experienced craftsmen who quickly arrived at practical solutions to unexpected problems. I have two Daikin mini ductless air conditioning units that are a little over one year old and have rarely been used. They may have about 50 hours of use. They stopped working and were diagnosed as being low on refrigerant. They hold 6 pounds and it took 4 pounds to fill. They are running further diagnostics with dye to determine where the leak is. Holders will come back in two weeks and hopefully discover where the leak is and repair it. While the unit has a 12 year warranty on parts, labor was only covered for one year. I was required to pay for the refrigerant and the dye that was injected into the system which cost over $400. I don’t know how much more it will cost to repair the problem.I do want to comment that Augustine, the repairman sent to diagnose the problem, was totally professional and a pleasure to deal with. I am giving a five star review because of the level of service I received from Augustine.

Had heating and air conditioning in stalled in our mobil home they did a good job the only complaint I have is they let the condensation from the air conditioner drip under the house I called and said we did not like moisture under the house an employee came by the next day and said this is how they did it and he would have to ask about it they never got back to me and we asked two other companies and they said that is not how it is normally done

I wanted my HVAC fixed as soon as possible. I damaged either the control board, or the transformer installing a smart thermostat. Took 24-hours before I got a tech at my house. He then diagnosed the problem as the fused disconnect box. I replaced the disconnect, and the unit still doesnt work. (I did enough research to know that it was either the control board, a 3 or 5 amp fuse, or the 24v transformer.) The tech really didnt seem to know what he was doing. Very disappointed with their service.When I request HVAC service, I expect the tech to be able to diagnose the issue, obtain the parts needed to repair my unit, and complete the repair all in one day. This is obviously not how Holders operates.

I contacted Ryan at Holders and he scheduled me for a service call, followed up with me for my appointment and their service technician Hector arrived on time. Did I mention I am located all the way in Stallion Springs in Tehachapi, CA? After having a few people in the industry tell me that I needed to replace my furnaces, Hector went and trouble shot my furnace system and solved the problem for us. Instead of trying to up sell me for the replacement of my furnace he was able to trouble shoot and save us a great deal of money. As someone that works in the industry, I would highly recommend Holders for your HVAC needs. Thanks again to your wonderful team for making our snowy winters up here toasty warm.

Hector came out and explained my problem to me. I had a loose wire behind my circuit breaker!! The other AC company charged me 380.00 to replace a part that didnt even need to be replaced!!! Hands down call Holders for any and all AC needs!
