My driver, Johnathan arrived quickly and was very professional. He was able to get my car out of the way of traffic & was so nice! I didnt have to worry about my car anymore. I knew that he would get it to the mechanic safely. Im so impressed with the service and would use this company again if needed.

I had to have my girlfriends car tow early on a Sunday morning. I called 7 different tow companies before contacting them. Most of the companies didnt have a tow truck available and few lacked very basic customer service skills. But after calling Harpers I was impressed. They were professional in every way. The dispatcher was extremely courteous and was very customer service oriented unlike the other Tow companies. John the tow operator arrived within 15 mins of calling them. I needed my car towed tonight, normally tow truck people are very rude, but everyone Ive spoke to today was the exact opposite, and so very helpful! The driver was Shona, she was so helpful and nice, and was awesome to talk to! If Im ever in need of a tow again, I will definitely be using Harpers towing! 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend. I was on in a fender bender on I-35. The front of my truck got hit pretty hard and made it undrivable. The dispatcher that took my call was kind and attentive. The amazing Shona was sent my way to help me with my vehicle. Shona was prompt, detail oriented and even made the time to show me some much needed compassion. Harper Towing Services is amazing! My car was broke down on the highway and HTS (Harper Towing Services) showed up very quickly. The driver, John, was absolutely fantastic! He was quick, efficient, respectful and funny. During a time that was stressful, John took the stress away with humor. John and this service is awesome. He also made a recommendation toward my car that ended up saving me hundreds of dollars. Beyond that, HTS is very affordable and will get the job done. He called to give an ETA and went above and beyond to help me.Im immuno-compromised, so I really shouldnt take a shuttle or Uber to pick up my car once its repaired. I asked how much it would cost to tow the car back home. I wouldnt have a ride until after the shop closes, so I was trying to find another option. Ed couldve taken advantage, but he offered to speak to the Service Tech about my situation.A little while later, my Service Tech called after talking to Ed. The repair shop disinfected my car and will allow me to pickup after hours!Ed listened to my concerns and worked with my repair shop to find a solution. I was stuck at a gas station by myself and pregnant and AAA couldn’t find me a tow truck for 4 hours. Harpers was able to get there in 30 minutes and was extremely nice and helpful and took excellent care of me and my car. Definitely recommend them! My driver Charley was excellent!

I needed to tow a car with no keys from a driveway. I called Harpers on a Sunday, but they needed a smaller truck than what was available, so he suggested I call back first thing Monday so they could accommodate our special issues. Other than getting the incorrect address from the tenants which sent our driver 15 blocks the wrong direction, once we got it done, it was smooth sailing. Our driver was courteous and efficient and managed to beat me to the mechanics place! It was a bit pricier than I had hoped, but I have paid more for much worse service. I would recommend them if you are in need of a towing service.

Unfortunately I needed a tow for the second time this month. Fortunately Harper towing exists ! They were professional every step of the way. From the dispatch who handled the call quickly and efficiently and got me a truck sent over WAY faster than the first 2 places I called . Hats off to Harper Towing and especially the driver, Charley.I called them at 4:47pm on a Saturday to request a tow for my disabled camping trailer.I am grateful that the prompt service from the dispatcher and Charley saved me hundreds of dollars and possibly even lives. The trailer was positioned in a very dangerous location on the elevated freeway in heavy fast moving 70mph traffic. Charley called me less than 30 minutes after my initial call to inform me that he and my trailer were safely off the road.Charley suggested the best location to drop off my trailer so that I could quickly repair the problem and to be on my way.Harper Towing is my GoToTowingService whenever I am in their local service area.

I will just say that I have never used there service. But I work in the same profession. This company is one of the best in this business. These bad reviews must be fakes in my opinion. Just don’t think it’s right to try and speak negatively about a business when reviews are a big part of how we get work. From one towman to another keep up the good work!

Unfortunately I was involved in a car accident, and Harpers was the company the police called to tow my car off the highway. I left a few belongings in my car that I needed that day, and they were nice enough to come meet me after hours and open the gate for me. All of the people I dealt with at Harpers were extremely friendly and helpful. I know most people wish they never need to use a tow company, but if you ever need to I would use Harpers.

I had a wicked blow out on I-35 and it was too dangerous to try and put my spare on (to much of an incline and on the drivers side). The staff was beyond pleasant and got a truck to me in 30 minutes on a Friday at 5:30. 30 minutes on a Friday in Austin on 35. Price is reasonable and the driver was professional and very nice.

The customer service here was amazing. The woman on the phone who helped me ( I wish I could remember her name :( ) was extremely helpful. They got a tow truck driver to me in a matter of 30 minutes. Mind you this was in some horrible weather so Im sure they had other people they had already had to tend to as well. The tow truck driver was also very friendly and very efficient. I will DEFINITELY be using them again if I need a tow. And I highly recommend them. Thanks guys!!

Such a class act. Lost keys and the only way to get a new fob according to Roger Beasley Mazda was to have car towed into the dealership. Called the first towing service we could find and it was Harpers. Not only did he get there fast he also got me into the dealership fast. Courteous and professional. No one wants to need a towing service but when you do, Harper’s is a great service to call. I highly recommend them.Last year my teenage daughter hit a curb after hydroplaning during a storm and did some damage to her front wheel. It was after hours so we looked on Google and used the first service to respond, which was Harper’s. The driver was so nice and helpful that when we found ourselves needing a less urgent tow today we made a point to call them again.Jonathan came out today and just like the other driver, he was so professional, kind and helpful. Incredible service. My car was in my garage and would not start or go into neutral, I had FOUR other towing companies come out, with all necessary information and attempt to tow my car, ALL 4 failed and left, one potentially did additional damage to my car.I believe it was Sam with Harper Towing who (Quickly) came and was incredibly professional, careful, and had surgical precision with his towing machinery. Truly a master of his craft. My car is very low to the ground and he was able to maneuver it out of a tight spot like it was nothing.DO NOT Waste your time with other companies. Call Harper first, as I have learned most other towing companies are trash, late, and incompetent.I rarely/never leave reviews, but Harper Towing, deserves a STRONG 5/5. Thanks Sam!

The office was closed when I get there. I called and gave 1-hour notice to pick up my car as described on a big sign. The nice guy arrived ahead of the time and helped me a lot. He kindly explains why the customer should give 1-hour notice in advance. It was nice to talk with him.

Do not let Taho tow your car. These people will not tell you price until they have your car ready to go. Then they will basically take at least $250 plus if they have to open your car they will charge you without any notice. Ask for an itemized receipt.

Who knew getting your car un-stuck could be so pleasant?! From the time I called and spoke with Betty to the time of arrival. The tower could not have been nicer and reassuring. He checked the undercarriage of my vehicle for any damage. The technology of the truck made the process so easy, quite impressive. On a really kind of crappy day, I had the pleasure of needing the assistance of Harpers Towing. My truck broke down on Mopac South at rush hour.I called Harpers and they had someone there within a half hour. I was also fortunate enough to be picked up by Steve Harper himself - who incidentally was an incredibly nice person.As a towing service, they are efficient, accommodating and reasonable. They were gentle with my truck when they picked it up and they were able to drop it off in the driveway. Other towing services have just dropped it in front of the house leaving to me trying to push my truck up my driveway myself.As a taxi service - because I needed a lift - the ride was really nice, the truck was clean and almost brand new. My driver was courteous and and pleasant and happen to own a really successful towing company..All and all, I implore you to use Harpers if you find yourself in the unfortunate position of needing a tow truck. Steve, you made a bad situation infinity more tolerable.On a side note, today I learned that Teslas dont have spare tire. Steve says he ends up towing a lot of them when they get a flat. I got into an accident last Monday on I-35, and my car needed to be towed afterwards because it was not drivable. Austin Police Department called for a tow truck and Steve Harper showed up within half an hour.He loaded up my car onto his truck and noted that the hood was not latched properly due to the collision; he was careful to drive slow enough that the hood wouldn’t fly up and cause further damage to the vehicle.Steve loaded up myself and some passengers from the other vehicle and moved us off the highway and to a local gas station, so APD could finalize their accident reports in a safer location.My car was towed to Harper’s lot on Ralph Ablenedo, and I went with it. When Steve found out I was planning to walk home (I live about a mile away), he volunteered to drive me home and drop me off instead.A couple of days later, I went to remove all of my belongings from my car since it was a total loss, and that process was easy. Steve had let me know what times the office was open, so I just went and grabbed my key from the office and signed a release so my insurance company could remove my car from their premises.Steve made a stressful situation a little bit easier to deal with, and I will request Harper’s Towing Service for any future collision needs.

If I could give this company 10 stars I would! We have a fleet of trucks and one unfortunately broke down on a job over the weekend. It was safely off the road so we waited until Monday to deal with towing to the dealer for repairs. Monday we called a random towing company and they were miserable to deal with and couldnt find the very visible truck despite numerous calls with instructions (the language barrier probably played a large part). Tuesday morning we decided to start over and called Harpers. I spoke with a lady who told me shed call me back shortly. Twenty minutes later the driver calls and tells me hes already on site loading up the truck (keep in mind the truck was located in downtown Austin and he made it there during rush hour). After the truck was dropped off at the dealer the driver called me back to tell me the name of our service tech and gave me a brief idea of what he thought might be wrong with the truck. Everyone was so professional and so quick! Worth every penny. Wish I had called them first, it would have saved me a headache!Id also like to add that Harpers took payment after the driver was onsite with the truck loaded up. The first company I tried dealing with wouldnt dispatch someone until they were paid up front.

I didnt have my car towed. I was driving next to the Harpers truck for several miles in traffic while he was making a tow. He was the most dangerous, angry, and aggressive truck driver Ive seen in the last decade. I certainly would not want any of my vehicles on any of their trucks after witnessing such blatant disregard for other motorists.

I left my lights on and the battery died of course on a cold rainy day in a crowded parking lot. I started looking for someone to help and harpers towing was driving by. 2 minutes later I am driving down the road. Saved us from a real potential stressful situation as my family was waiting in the car.Thanks!

Scam company !!!!I told the scumbag over the phone, john twice that im towing it to hutto near round rock TWICE and even gave him my drop off address and asked him how much total and he told 125$ total and then after 40 mins of waiting the tow truck arrived and told me its 125$ plus 400$ =525$!!! Just to drive to round rock area!!! When the other competitors all charge 200-300$ total!I told the driver that im not interested and took another tow truck after waiting againThey think that they can sneak the price on you and convince u to pay super extra by bringing the driver to your spot

Horrible customer service. I have spoken with the same female at the 201 Ralph Ablanedo Drive location and she is so rude. I work for a company and called for some fee updates and was very rude the first time. The second time I called (a week later) she was rude again. She answered the phone and placed me on hold after I asked what I was calling about. Then came back and said I was rattling too much so she placed me on hold. I asked for a manager/owner or someone else that I can speak with due to this being the second time Ive had issues with her and she declined to get me to anyone else. This really needs to be looked at. If they have any other business relationships with major companies, well say goodbye.
