I’ve been to Broberg 3 times now, & everyone there has been AMAZING! Trisha is absolutely wonderful, so so gentle, & so easy to talk to! I’m super scared of getting dental work done, but she truly has a way of calming me down. Bethany was so so sweet & also super gentle during my first appointment there, & Dr. Broberg was way more informative & easy to talk to than I think any other dentist I’ve had. Aurelia has also been so great & organized, & she even went out of her way to let me know when an earlier appt opened up! I’ve been to other dentists in the area, but I will definitely be going to Broberg from now on! (:

She was energetic and explained what she was doing and was very attentive to my comfort level. Like many other reviewers, I never post reviews of dental practices. I absolutely must in this case. I just moved to Austin from the Washington, D.C. metro area. I have a complicated dental history to say the least. Plus, theres always the insurance hassle.Dr. Broberg and his wonderful staff made everything incredibly simple and -- dare I say -- very pleasant. They helped me get my old dental records, discussed my history and concerns, and even asked me how they could best share information with me -- nuanced or just the facts. Their offices are very, very clean and clearly state of the art.The true difference with this practice, though, are the people. They couldnt be warmer, more pleasant or more thorough.

The staff always goes above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable and feel welcomed. I tried the TMJ laser therapy today and really enjoyed it. I took an eight minute nap during the treatment and even got a little jaw massage after. It felt amazing and I look forward to doing it again. Feeling blessed I was recommended last-minute to Dr. Brobergs office. What a gentle-spirited bunch of professionals. Always are welcoming, soft-spoken, informative, very caring too - Dr. Broberg even returned my crown because it wasnt just right and I now have the most comfortable bite ever! Which was very nice, but even better, she did some digging and found that yes, I do actually have dental insurance (I was unsure about the status of that). We love Dr. Broberg! He is very patient, knowledgeable, and have wonderful patient care. He always answers all my question and easy to understand. The staff are also very friendly and helpful with billing questions (which can get frustrating). I have bad dental genes and history, so going to the dentist has been non stop for me since I was young, but I eventually did give up for more than 5 years since I got tired of dealing with dentists that I didnt feel like truly cared and listened. Been a patient for about 3 years now, I believe, and I fully recommend him and the staff.

I found Broberg Family Dental when I moved to Austin over 3 years ago. They were convenient, very modern, and above all else, felt very caring! My last visit was my first during the pandemic. Kate was so great about explaining the extra precautions and what was different this visit. And I love hearing about her new baby boy as though were old friends. I recently switched insurance carriers (Humana to BCBS) and had to find a new dentist. I’ve had my deep cleanings done a couple times and have never paid more than $300 for my entire treatment, compared to the $1300+ bill I was given at this location. In addition, I told the hygienist I received the rooting/scaling exactly a year ago already and was just in the maintenance cleanings phase. I’m usually only permitted to get this done once every 3 years and to come in for regularly scheduled check-ins. All this could’ve been easily found by contacting my previous dentist and having my records sent over, whether it be done by the office or requested from myself, the patient, prior to my appointment. It was an uncomfortable position to be put in to make a decision after I’d been sitting in the chair for 90 minutes getting X-rays and pictures done. I felt forced to do one side and ultimately cheated out of $600. I understand this was partially a BCBS insurance issue, but I do wish I had been given time to think it through.Further, I was charged for fluoride treatment (which is basic preventive care) and for an oral gel (that I would’ve declined had I known I’d be charged). As I mentioned, I’ve had these cleanings done before and have NEVER had to use a gel afterward, especially since I told the hygienist I was not feeling any pain and discomfort both before or after the cleaning.While I appreciate the warm welcome and nice atmosphere, this did leave me feeling scammed.
