I have had nothing but good experiences since choosing Austin Artistic Dental as my primary dentist office. I had my first appointment of two for a deep clean before i get my chipped tooth fixed. Natalie handled the cleaning after Dr. Hulse provided the numbing. She did an amazing job communicating and cleaning me up. No pain or discomfort throughout the cleaning and was out in just over an hour. Netflix or music provided while you get your work done. I showed up five minutes early and there were no delays in getting me back in the operating room. Highly recommend this place!

Ive been putting off going to the Dentist for years. After months of research I finally came across Austin Artistic Dental. I was impressed by how informative and easy their website was to navigate through. You can tell they spent time thinking about what their potential customers would want and need from a website. Every question I had, the website answered and elaborated on every detail. They offer NO CREDIT CHECK payment options. This was a huge factor in me having to wait for dental work. They make it affordable and offer a few options. Now, I feel more people will be able to achieve a healthy beautiful smile. I appreciate the Dental Savings Plan they have as well, for uninsured people. Overall, 10/10 experience.

Austin Artistic Dental has been such a pleasure going to! Very personal, genuine, and willing to help. I was super stressed about going to the dentist for the first time in such a while, and the moment I walked through their doors I felt welcomed! My name was written on a chalk board welcoming me and it automatically made me feel appreciated. They recognize you individually and not just as “another new patient”. Dr. Hulse, from the get go, was very patient and willing to offer me the best advise to achieve the smile I want! Never pressuring me or trying to provide a treatment I didn’t really need. Monica helped me tremendously with figuring out the best financial plan for me and willing to help with any questions I had. From Tabitha, the hygienist, being so sweet and friendly (calming my nerves) for me, to Javier always being so kind and welcoming, their entire team has their own ways of making you feel welcomed and relaxed! Ive never had any issues with any other doctors office in the past except this one. I highly would not recommend Artistic Dental at all. Stay away! Very unprofessional and disrespectful. Save your time and take your business elsewhere. They make you pay up front which is a huge red flag. Never have I been to a doctor where you pay in advance for your treatment. Red flag! I had to cancel due to a transition of insurance changes. I had called over the weekend to cancel 3 full days before my scheduled appointment and had left a voice-mail and they never returned my call, I had to call them back again. They were disrespectful and gave me grief. They care more about whats in your wallet and theyll ask you for a good review after your first visit. They care more about that than you as a person. Very snaky and fake.

Hands down best dental experience I’ve ever had. Everyone there is welcoming from start to finish. They are extra professional and they also have TVs with Netflix and YouTube for you to watch while you’re getting treated. We’ve been going to Austin Artistic Dental for a few years now and they are really setting the standard for what a dentist office and experience can and should be.A lot of people avoid going to the dentist and probably for a lot of valid reasons. Going to see Dr. Hulse and his crew is an absolute joy because I know I will be well taken care of, that my appointment will run on time, that everyone is super friendly and cares about me as an individual, and that they will surface problems and be respectful of my decisions to act upon them. The facility is super modern with TVs both in front and on the ceiling so you can take your mind off of the work being done.I also particularly appreciate the fact that a few days every quarter or 6 months, Dr. Hulse is off receiving additional training or professional development to help him be a better dentist. Amazing Dental work and office staff! I took my teen daughter to see Dr Hulse. She has some pretty complex dental issues and was very shy about going, hesitant about seeing any dentist or even believing he could help her. In one visit, he made a small change that improved her entire smile and helped us create a long term plan that she was comfortable with! On top of doing great work, his support staff is fantastic and made us feel completely welcome. I went back today after my only other visit two weeks ago and everyone remembered us, had my favorite creamer for coffee and once again treated us like they’d known us forever. Great place all around and worth the long drive!

This place is a life saver I went in to this beautiful clean facility with chronic pain in my mouth and now I’m all better! Thank you Dr. Hulse and his assistant Priscilla.

Dr. Hulse repaired my front teeth using the Bioclear method. I choose this over veneers because it is restorative without having to remove any tooth structure. My teeth were worn due to age plus grinding and had some exposed dentin on the bottom edge of teeth. This caused sensitivity and pain. I had finished invisalign to align my teeth properly to fix jaw and bite issues, then had this procedure. Bioclear fixed my sensitivity issue and the procedure successfully restored my teeth. Dr. Hulse artistic work was excellent and the repair work looks great. The downside is its a dental procedure that takes a while, but I watched movies and it went by fast.

Amazing clinic and staff, they put me at ease when I was really nervous and freaking out. Looking forward to the work I will have done.

First, I will say that the dental care was great and I have no problem with the dental care I received. The clinical staff and the care is all great.The issue I have is with the office staff and their billing practices. Dr. Hulse is listed as an in-network provider on my dental insurance. When I made my appointment, I asked about his dental network status and was told I am in network. During my appointment I was told they confirmed my benefits and asked me to pay my portion upfront. No problem, I did. 3 weeks after the procedure, a bill for another 600 dollars. When I inquired for help, there was little interest to help or even contact my insurance company for the discrepancy regarding why he shows in-network there versus them balance billing me. They just wanted my credit card number. Completely unacceptable and not very professional.In all fairness, this is not all on the dental office, the insurance has issues as well listing this dentist as a provider. In order to have issues like this corrected I will place a complaint with the Texas Department of Insurance and the BBB. I believe that these behaviors are predatory in nature and need to be stopped. Again, a systemic issue. In the end it leaves the patient holding the bag which makes everyone not trust the healthcare we receive. Patients typically expect that the dental office and staff are the professionals to help navigate the insurance system and trust their services with financial counseling.In the end, DO NOT TRUST THE OFFICE STAFF. Call the insurance company; verify, and stay far away if they are not networked. Better yet, insist that the office submit all your work to the insurance for a PRE-DETERMINATION, this would help you prevent any surprises. Also, utilize your smart phone and record the conversation with financial counseling for quality control purposes.

I scheduled myself for the first time but had to cancel the appointment a daily earlier because of personal reasons. When I called them to reschedule my appointment, they said we have a policy of not giving appointments to the patients who cancel their first appointment. I don’t know why they have such policy, didn’t make sense to me at all.Update after response: thank you for your false assumptions to make everyone feel that you are an awesome dental clinic. While you have your own reasons to deny new patients, I did give my reasons for not being able to make it to the appointment. Moreover, my first appointment was long ago, even before covid started and I tried to setup another one recently. Yes, I felt bad for someone not to empathize with customers and do anything based on a policy. You are right, there are thousand more dentists and many good ones close to Southpark Meadows. I’d never again think about your office nor would recommend anyone. If you can, just let the new patients know about this policy so they are aware of what to expect, you cannot judge everyone on same scale. Some might have genuine reasons for not showing up or canceling few days in advance and may deserve at least a second chance. Have a great day.

I had been having a myriad of health issues for years that confounded all kinds of doctors, and Dr. Hulse suspected I had a rare sleep disorder just based on the way my teeth looked. Turns out I do have that rare sleep disorder, and treating it has literally changed every aspect of my life for the better. I cannot thank him enough. His staff is also so wonderful, knowledgable and super friendly. I would give 500 stars if I could!

To begin with the portal for documents is excellent. It is easy to navigate and user friendly. The system also sends a text reminder of the upcoming appt the actual DAY of the appt not days before which is exactly what I need. Upon arrival the front staff was focused on safety protocols but also welcoming and friendly. The hygienist and Dr. are thorough in their explanations of every step they are taking and do so in a way that is understandable and friendly. The overall professionalism and friendliness of the entire office is quite welcoming. This is such a great team .. you can see and feel they enjoy their job.

I loved how informative my consultation was. I’ve felt most places in the past have just told me their recommendations where here, as a new patient, it was really nice being walked through everything he/they were noticing in so much detail. Very friendly and welcoming staff. I’m personally looking forward to my dental corrections and would highly recommend here.

Dr Hulae is kind and patient. I have great fear of dental work. My grill had cavities a bad crown I got a deep cleaning and invitation he used sedation and when I was anxious he was never impatient with me. My teeth are straight it was a 2 year process. I cannot recommend recommend him enough

Dr. Hulse is a fantastic dentist. He is professional, warm and is skilled at doing his work. I had two dental implants completed. The procedure was quick and painless. I am always nervous and apprehensive when I go to the dentist, Dr. Hulse calmed me down and explained the procedure to me step by step so I knew what to expect. After consulting with several dentists before my procedure I am glad I chose him. I definitely will have other dental work completed at his office.

I just finished my Invisalign plan with Dr. Hulse and I couldn’t be more appreciative and thankful I went to his practice. From the schedulers, to the assistants, to Dr. Hulse himself—I am very pleased with their work and my results. You can tell that they take pride in taking care of their customers and making sure you walk out with a smile. After my teeth were aligned, Dr. Hulse even went out of his way and spent extra time correcting the years of minor damage from grinding my teeth and honestly, my smile has never looked better. You can tell he is a perfectionist in every sense of the word. He also makes sure that you love everything about your smile before you wrap up the plan. If I could give 6 stars, I would. For the last 3 years I have seen Dr. Hulse. I can say that he is a wonderful dentist, he has worked with my teeth issues in a perfect way, and has covered all my dental necessities. I have a beautiful smile thanks tohis amazing job and creativity working on my veneers. Dr. Hulse is not only an excellent dentist, but also a wonderful person with a lot of compassion for others. He suggests what you need, but don’t not push you in any way to do an unnecessary job on your teeth or to make you spend money that you may not have, he is very honest and tells you what has priority and needs to be done in order to have your teeth healthy. His prices are very reasonable and work with you with some payment plan when is needed it. Lastly, I can say that in the last 30 years, I found the right dentist, not forgetting to mention that he has a wonderful friendly staff. I have been blessed to find him. The best dental experience I have ever had. First of all, the staff are very friendly and will make you feel welcome. They will send you paper work to complete digitally in advance, so it saves your time filling out everything on the spot. As you walk in, there is coffee and water at the front desk. The staff will check with you throughout your appointment to see if you needed water or anything. The place is super thoughtful, there is 1 TV in front of you and 1 TV over your head just so time goes by faster when you are in your chair for too long. Blankets are available by request. The bathroom is clean and filled with floss, toothbrush and toothpaste. Dr. Hulse is extremely knowledgeable, and the equipments they have are high technology that sees every single issue you have in your teeth. If you are worried about teeth, no matter its dental health or cosmetic look, Dr. Hustle will get you covered. I havent been to the dentist for 2 years, and I avoid it as much as possible because its such a vulnerable experience. However, Ive had the most soothing experience at Dr. Hulse office that I dont have dentist anxiety any longer. Thanks to all the staff and Dr. Hulse for such an amazing dental experience. :)

Ive been going to Dr. Hulse for about 6-7 years or so. Im 62 years old and truth be told, Im a big baby and quite anxious when it comes to going to the dentist; however, Dr. Hulse is fantastic! Hes caring and kind and so is his entire staff. This last visit I had a new hygienist, Tabitha, and a new dental assistant, Javi. Since Ive got many dental anxiety issues, Im hesitant about change; however, Tabitha was very nice and took extra measures to make sure my cleaning was as painless as possible. Javi was also very nice with a thoughtful chat and a comfortable neck pillow, since Im still recovering from a serious car accident and neck surgery. I would definitely recommend Dr. Hulse with Austin Artistic Dental. They never make me feel like Im just a number. Theyre awesome!

I had been wanting to see Dr. Hulse for a year or longer. I finally made an appointment and the experience went well!The front end staff was welcoming and friendly. The assistant that took my x-rays was super nice and made good convo with me while we waited for the dr. By the way, the technology at the office was excellent. Finally, I met Dr. Hulse. His exam was extremely thorough and he did a great job educating me on not only what’s going on but the causes and possible solutions as well.Unfortunately, the location of the office and my schedule along w/ job location aren’t a good combo. I knew this ahead of time and tried to work it out but I ran late to the appointment (kid drop off) and then late to work. Will be easier for me to stay closer to where I work.I let Stephanie at the office know today when she followed up with me. Dr. Hulse left a message for me this evening. Not sure if it’s a recording that gets sent out to all new clients or if it actually him but it sure was a nice gesture either way.Although I can’t continue to go to this office, I still recommend this practice to anyone seeking a new dental care provider. 👍🏼

Wonderful experience from soup to nuts. Mainly, my questions were answered thoughtfully and in detail, my finances considered, and he gave a clear approach for proactive and preventative care. Both cosmetic and teeth health care will be done here. I will definately be returning.

I found Dr. Hulse’s place via google and after reading reviews decided I’d try Austin Artistic Dental. I needed extensive work done from replacing old fillings to veneers on multiple teeth so I came in with the intent to use my initial visit and teeth cleanings as a trial to see how I liked the place. From the first visit it was clear that they take a lot of care in making the best experience possible for the patient. The atmosphere was always comfortable. The staff was always very friendly. Dental visits can be anxious experiences for just about anyone for any number of reasons and you can tell that the staff there is sympathetic to that. The chairs are comfortable and they offer a tv on the wall or on the ceiling, with headphones, so you can just zone out during a procedure. They are very straightforward and honest in communicating what they feel are the best options for your specific needs. After every visit I have a call from the office to check on my status after whatever was done that day. I can not recommend Dr Hulse enough and look forward to many years as his patient.

Dr. Hulse, Courtney, Javier, and the rest of the team at Austin Artistic Dental did an out-of-this-world job with my full smile veneer replacements. With a rushed time-frame for completion, and me being out of state, Dr. Hulse accepted the challenge and was able to accommodate my travel schedule, as well as help complete my dental work before my brothers wedding. I couldnt recommend this dental office more, theres a reason I travel from out of state specifically for Austin Artistic. Ive recommended them to family and friends, and recommend them for anyone looking for any kind of dental work, from cleanings to cosmetic work. Theyre simply the best.

Front desk is nice, responsive and helpful. Dr. Hulse is such a good dentist. I’ve had lots of work done here and haven’t had any issues. Conveniently located in South Park meadows. 10/10 would recommend!

Dr. Hulse and his staff are professional and friendly. They greet you by name when you arrive, and they work very hard to keep their appointments on time. Dr. Hulse is a perfectionist when it comes to his dental work, and it shows in the quality of his care. His dental hygienists and assistants are caring and competent, too

I have been to a lot of different dental hygienists in my life, & I must say Kaylee is top notch. She is so professional & precise that it is almost like being seen by two dentists in the office, not just one. She is exceptional. In fact, the whole team here is exceptional. I recommend them all!
