Working with the Brighten Pools team has been a dream!! They are so understanding of your needs and really partner together to design a pool that fits in your budget while not sacrificing on quality. I was always impressed on their pool building knowledge and how they are staying up to date on what is happening in the pool construction world. They really offer it all and their customer service is just the icing on the top! If youre thinking of getting a pool you should definitely consider using them.

Pool was in bad state of disrepair. Master Pools resurfaced the pool and spa. Looks beautiful now. They did what they said they would, communicated very well, worked around some really inclement weather to make our dates work. Very happy with the result. Nice job!

Highly recommend Master Pools of Austin. Had some issues with communication in the beginning, but had a wonderful experience after that. The crew that built our pool was great, and very hardworking. Red is awesome. Any issues we had were addressed and resolved quickly. They use high quality materials and always kept our yard clean. If youre looking to install or remodel a pool, Master Pools is the absolute best choice!

Love the finished result on the pool. The repairs went well and the new tile and pebble tech finish look great. It can be hard to get a hold of them at times and they did not leave us the extra tiles as promised but we are happy with the result.

We had a great experience working with Master Pools. We went to their showroom and picked out a finish that we liked (Pebble Tec.) I watched their process from start to finish and it was well coordinated and impressive. We got a good bang for our buck! They did an outstanding job.

I have gone through four or five companies of the years and came across Master Pools of Austin through a friend. She’s now my best friend because of her recommendation. We had nothing but problems with our pool when OTHER companies serviced it. The pH was either too high or too low; there was always a strong chlorine smell; the water would get cloudy easily, and some times there would be a slimy build up on the pool walls. The pool was absolutely gross and embarrassing to look at, and NO ONE would swim in it. That is NO longer the case – not since Cory and Justin, with Master Pools of Austin, came into our lives! Our pool is pristine and has been ever since Cory and Justin started servicing our pool! We actually have to “fight” with our kids to keep them out of the pool and hot tub on a daily basis! AND now our house is the house with all the pool parties – the kids make sure of it. Both Cory and Justin are amazing to work with! Each are incredibly knowledgeable and they are always very polite and patient with me – I say patient because I have been known to call Cory with a crazy question from time to time. The other thing that is impressive is the people who work in the office - administrative to executive - are fabulous to work with as well. Amanda and Clinton have been a pleasure to deal with whenever I’ve needed any internal office assistance. I will NEVER use any other pool service company!! I wish I could give them 10 stars because 5 aren’t enough!

Our deep-water, freeform pool / spa with in-floor cleaning system is beautiful!! Eric, Steve, Adam, Amanda and Michael were incredible. Even with quite a bit of rain, our build time was just over 90 days!!! Thanks to everyone at Master for building a beautiful oasis in our backyard that we enjoy everyday!

We had looked at several pool companies to create the design we were looking for in our fairly large sloping backyard. Justin from Master Pools of Austin came out and listened to exactly what we were looking for and nailed it! Their whole team was very professional and quick to resolve any questions or issues we had throughout the process. Having been a previous pool owner, we really like the very low maintenance required with our new in-floor cleaning system. We are very pleased with the end result and cant wait for warmer weather to start enjoying our new backyard paradise! I would highly recommend Master Pools of Austin.

Were wrapping up our pool remodel that started nearly a year ago. Master Pools is intent on doing a good job. There have been some management issues over the last year or two that led them to accepting too many pool builds/remodels and using inadequate sub-contractors (see my reviews of them). Because they were over committed, the management of our project was seriously lacking: sub contractors didnt know what to do or did whatever they wanted to. Over the course of the project Master Pools has been getting their house in order: they restructured their organization and fired staff, they fired their inadequate sub-contractors (all of the ones that worked on our project). They have fixed, most times taking 3-4 attempts before getting it right, every aspect of our remodel.Unfortunately the sub-contractors did do bad work. Our deck is cracking and shifting. The mortar in the coping and wall are wearing or coming out. I really wonder if the pool, etc, will last. Time will tell.When considering a pool builder/remodeler, take the time to investigate their sub contractors, get feedback from previous customers, talk with the actual workers, ask hard questions, make deadlines and be able to back out of the contract with financial penalties for the contractor if those deadlines are missed, decide on quality metrics and how to know when each step/aspect of the project is done.I wouldnt wish my experience on anyone. A 6 week project turned into a multi-month one. Everything had to be reworked 3-4 times. But Master Pools sounds like theyre above average. Ive heard many stories of much, much worse.Buyer beware!

As I said on Yelp... If youre considering a pool for your home you need to visit with the guys at Master Pools. Ive never written a review online, good or bad, and I had to join Yelp to post this. Furthermore, I will likely never post on Yelp again. Having said that, we are so pleased with everything that the least I can do is spend a few minutes to share our positive experience. There are a few things about these guys that I believe make them exceptional. First, they really love what they do, and know what theyre doing. These are not contractors that sub everything out with little or no grasp on whats being done. Our project manager, Michael, can do everything himself, and worked right alongside everyone during this process. Eric, Adam, Michael--all of those involved with our project--were outstanding, and stopped at nothing to help craft what we wanted. We wanted to build something mid-century, our friends had a beautiful free-form built with a waterfall and native stone; whatever your vision may be, they can make it happen.Chase, Jill, and AvaP.s. As I grew up vacuuming a pool, I have always associated them with work. While I love the pool now, initially I did this begrudgingly for my wife and daughter. After a month with our pool, in a backyard with pecan trees, I can tell you that the pop-up system is worth every penny. Budget for it.

Not reliable, unprofessional and lacking coherence. There were multiple missed appointments & flip flopping saying they do, do not, then do build pools in North Austin. The final straw was when the designer calls, he was 20m late to meet me at my house and says they are only building commercial pools or pools 100k+. Try some other builders... youll have a much better experience. Denali, Paradise, GK and Cody will all treat you much better.

Master Pools has been a very good choice for our pool builder. After a few road bumps early on they were very attentive, responsive, and have helped us with any issues we’ve had with our pool.

We recently purchased a new home and I am so excited to begin work on our custom pool from Master Pools of Austin. We had a great time designing the pool and cannot wait to be enjoying it by summertime. Thank you Master Pools!
