Hines Pool and Spa is awesome, and Ray at the front counter was a tremendous help with replacing my pump motor. The drive from New Braunfels was well worth it considering the great service I received!

Jeff Hines just left our home completing a repair on our pool / spa heater. As usual an outstanding job. The Company communicates extremely well with job status (Joel) and Jeff has become our Go To pool repair person. We used another entity only to be insulted by the person with whom we had worked. Over the last few years, Hines has become the preferred entity with whom we always work. They are easy to work with, they are pleasant to work with, they do the job right the first time and they do it at a fair price. We cannot say enough about the experiences we have had with them.Keep up the great work!!!

I have used Hines Pool & Spa for years and highly recommend them for pool/spa service and repairs. Their technician Justin Brown is stellar. He is very experienced, knowledgeable and consultative. Even during the 2/11-21/21 massive snow and ice event, Justin *called me* just to check on our pool and spa equipment, offering advice. And it all survived the big freeze.... You dont find this kind of customer service anymore. Hines is great!

We have had such a disappointing experience with this company. My husband had several legitimate questions about the condition of our pool and the quality of the maintenance service and received several defensive, rude responses. We have every right to know how our pool is being treated and expect a detailed report, especially since we have young children. After several attempts at trying to get complete answers, we were informed that our service would be discontinued.

We are renting our house in Austin and cannot take care of our pool since we live in another city, so we contracted with Hines Pool and Spa to do it for us. Our pool has a small leak in the line somewhere and in order to get it diagnosed, it has to be in pristine condition.We spent a week in Austin getting the pool cleaned and ready for regular maintenance. After that week, Hines was supposed to take over cleaning. We trusted them to take care of it.One of their cleaning technicians was on vacation, and they did not send someone else out to clean it. As a result, the pool fell out of balance, and since there was still a leak, the water level fell below the skimmer.Sandra D., from the Cleaning Department, assured us that they would cover the costs associated with getting the pool back to normal, since they did not begin work when they said they would.As a result, we had to reschedule with the leak detection company (there was a huge backlog due to the winter storm). The technician went out and was unable to clean due to the water level being too low.... because there is still a leak that we cannot get fixed because the pool is out of balance!Sandra sent an email saying that Hines Pool & Spa is unable to move forward doing business with us, and that we should feel free to explore other pool servicing options.I was very respectful with my correspondence with everyone at this company and sincerely do not understand this extremely unprofessional reaction.It seems that fixing their mistake has become too costly for them and now they simply refuse to honor their word.

Candyce and Sam are absolutely incredible. We had severe issues with our pool after the ice storm and called other pool companies without success. Candyce and Sam not only fixed the problems but communicated in a clear and logical fashion. I highly recommend HINES pool and please request Candyce and Sam

The snow & ice left the stone coping & facing of my pool flaking off and making a real mess.Bill Davis is my new hero. He did a great job cleaning & getting out the crumbling stone mess from the bottom of my pool.

We called to get a quote on renovating our pool, which Hines Pool employees knew was in Fayetteville TX. They came out made measurements and were very friendly. We were looking very forward to their work. Unfortunately they decided they didnt really want to drive that far to do the renovation. They still sent us a bill for $250 for their quote. Come on now; everyone has Google maps and since they chose to back out, why must we pay??? Well we did pay, so now I can complain because Hines Pool charged us even as they backed out of the job due to a 1 1/2 - 2 he drive.

George Huezo has been taking care of our pool since we moved in two years ago. He is diligent and goes over and above to take care of us. He is also very pleasant and we enjoy seeing him.

There is a wonderful tech out there working for Hines pools and spas. Her name is Candace. She is competent in taking readings. Performing the work. And most importantly is excellent at discussing and reporting all pertinent information to us regarding our pool. Keep it up miss Candace. U will go far. Of that I am sure

I contacted Hines after seeing they had good reviews. They sent out Chris to fix a problem with my pool filter. He fixed it with no problem and gave us lots of ongoing advice for pool care. For the first time in years I feel confident that I am doing the right thing with the pool and I know I have Hines to contact if I do have any issues. Thank you, Chris!

I have been using Heinz Pool for service for a few years now - could not be happier. The other day Jeff L. was sent over to do some repairs - he was very honest, efficient, and tidy in his work! I could not ask for better service! I wanted to give him a pat on the back but I couldnt due to Covid so here it is!!

We called Hines to inquire about having our pool light exchanged. We had already bought the replacement, but couldnt get the old one out. Ray was kind enough to give us some tips, but also offered to do the job if we werent successful. His trick worked, saving us hundreds of dollars! Next time theres a job we cant do ourselves, well be calling Hines for service.

Chris has serviced our pool equipment before and whatever he repairs always ends up in tip top shape. He is very knowledgeable & so efficient. Chris even went the extra mile and helped me unload several heavy bags of potting soil. I am 77yrs. old and really appreciated the extra help! I hope Hines realizes what a valuable employee they have in Chris!

I called Hines because they were listed as service provider for my Raypak heater that was no longer heating. Chris was sent by Hines and Im glad he was. Chris is very knowledgeable, explains everything he is doing, and an over-all great guy. Although my pool equipment is now out of warranty, I feel a whole lot better now that I found Hines and Chris!

We have had our pool for 15 years and we have never had anyone provide the level of service that Sam with Hines Pool & Spa has. He is knowledgeable, reliable, and a great communicator. It was a relief to have someone be so thorough and so great at problem solving.

We’ve had a pool cleaner for 4 years at our condos and I’ve always accepted that because of the trees that our pool would always be full of some kind of debris. That is until Charles began cleaning our pool a few weeks ago. I am amazed at how clear and debris free our pool is now! He does an excellent job and he was super friendly when I asked him some questions about the state of our pool water. I hope this review is seen by our property management company because we don’t want to lose him or Hines!

Though they were extremely busy they kept in contact and helped me manage my pool leak until a very qualified repair tech, Chris, showed up and fixed the problem in an hour. Gave me several good pool tips while working. I will use them again, Im sure.

Honestly running 7 commercial pools I dont know what Id do without Jeff! He always gets dispatch to find time for us and never skips steps and Hines service repair dept is the only place around who can fix any equipment I throw at them, even 10 year old hammerheads! We maintain and clean our own pools, its great to have a service company that supports us not try and tell us they could do better.

The quality of the people and product at Hines Pool exceeds expectations and has for years.Jacob Cates takes care of the pool service and this week, he noticed a “buzzing” coming from the booster pump.He shut down the system, took the pump out and cleaned it and sealed it back up and the pump returned to running smoothly.Who does this anymore?? I really love this pool company! We searched for many years after moving to Austin and had a hard time. Lots of technicians rush through cleaning as fast as possible, but our technician, Trey, takes his time and is very contentious with his work. If there is something a miss, he is proactive to let us know asap. Our family is very happy to use Hines Pool!

Hines has been cleaning our pool for almost 5 years. We love that they are a one stop shop and can handle everything from our weekly cleanings (thank you, Trey!!) to Polaris repairs, light bulb replacement and even fixed a broken pipe. They are reliable, trustworthy and have always quickly addressed any repair requests.

Ive had several yahoos from other companies waste my time, not fixing my pool equipment. Hines techs know their business. Provided good accurate advice and options. Repair and service has always been great. That encouraged me to contract with their cleaning service. Again great and competent service. This company is actually three functions. Pool building, pool cleaning service, and pool equipment repair.This review is strictly limited to the equipment repair services!Ive been using them for several years. They have repaired my pump and filter expertly without any drama or missteps. The service is convenient and timely. There was opportunity to take advantage of me but this never happened. I would recommend without reservation having your pool equipment worked on by this company.

We have been with Hines Pools for a number of years, hands down George Huerta is the best pool cleaner we ever had! George is thorough, on time, actually cares about our equipment, cant say enough good things about George. I never worry about our pool because we know that our pool is in good hands with George! Give him a raise!

Literally a waste of my time. Guy came out to give a free quote. He was nice and all but couldnt even figure out how to shut off the pool pump. He said to expect a quote for a pool heater the next day via email. Didnt receive one, so I reached out twice the next WEEK after not hearing from anyone and he said oh we are still working on a bid, we also lost your email.I said forget it. Waste of my time ill be using warmswim.

I believe this is the company paid to clean our neighborhood pool. They suck. The chlorine is so strong it burns my skin. The pool is never clean, the water is always murky.

I use Hines for our weekly pool maintenance. Not sure how George H. does it but he is able to keep our pool sparkling clean with weekly visits when I could never make it look like that working on it everyday. Hines always does a top-notch quality job.

George H has been taking care of my pools at Addison in the Domain for the past 2 years. George is a very intelligent pool tech and he does a great job. I recommend Hines highly because of the work George puts in on my property

We have had on going issues keeping this pool clean. I had several different people out from the company we were using and after months of issues I decided to change to Hines. They got us set up in one day and had a technician out the next day. Candyce did a fantastic job cleaning the pool and did a full assessment to help figure out what issues needed to be fixed. The pool has not looked this good since I first saw it two years ago. Thank you!

I work for a very large property management company in Austin. Our maintenance coordinators have asked for 2 bids from this company. I initially asked for a bid for a pool repair at one of our apartments on 01/17. I tried calling for the bid several times and received no response. Finally on 01/31 I got an email that said SO sorry, that was my fault. I have not made it there yet. Later that day, he emailed me that they do not work on that type of pool.Despite this, I recommended them to a co-worker for another apartment that needs a pool repair and he asked for a bid on 02/23. No bid has been received and apparently that salesperson is out of town now - this is the same gentleman that that gave me the SO sorry, that was my fault. I have not made it there yet response.Perhaps Hines has better quality work but their salesperson, Brandon D., needs some customer service training.

Always responsive, friendly and competent professional service. We contacted Hines on Monday morning that our pump hand stopped working. Chris F. was on-site, diagnosed the problem, and replaced the pump before we sat down to dinner Monday evening. In this season of high demand for pool service and with falling oak leaves and pollen, we experienced minimal downtime.Thank you Chris and thank you Hines! Great service!

Ive used Hines Pool & Spa for over 7 years now and this is my first review. They are an absolutely fantastic company and highly recommend them for all kinds of pool repairs and service. Over the years theyve done the following for me when things wear out (new 300,000 BTU pool heater, new Pentair 2HP pool pump, new Pulsar Infinity chemical system, new pool lights, fix pool leak (yes, they do that, too!), fix Jandy pool control panel, upgrade PVC-pipe water valves, etc.). Ray & Joel at the front desk are just fantastic--just pop in anytime and your questions are all answered! They stay on top of the latest pool technology. For example, after discussing with Ray, I upgraded my chlorine tab dispenser tower to the new Pulsar Infinity tabs. No more over-stabilized pool, requiring expensive pool water drain & replace. Water stays amazingly crystal-clear, pool *OVERALL MUCH EASIER* to maintain!!! THANKS, GUYS...COULDNT DO WITHOUT YOU!!! Kermit

I like to do all my pool cleaning myself however I would never stop up on supplies like I should.
