I’m going to start off by saying that we were not customers. HOWEVER, they have an employee that deserves 5 stars. Me and my family got a flat tire at the gas station across the street. A guy sees us struggling with the tire and comes over and completely saves the day. I mean, this dude was so cool and so helpful. It was a Saturday. At 6 pm. And he was amazing. John/JB, you are a saint. Any shop that has employee or owner of this caliber deserves 5 stars!

Love this place and the guys that work here. Ive brought my vehicle to them for years and they are always consistent. Usuaully by the time they finish my oil change and I get my receipt, Ive been there less than 15 minutes. I have been taking my car to budget lube and car wash for probably 10 years. The guys that work there are really nice theyre efficient fast to get the work done and they have an extra service if you have a small tiny chip in your windshield they will call your insurance company theyll get it approved and itll be no cost to you theyve helped me with this several times when I didnt even know there was a chip this place is great

Just got the state inspection done in 15 mins. I’m sure times differ as line started to build shortly after I got there. Super friendly and easy. And under $20?! Great place. Even wash my car here for around $3 in self service stalls. Really a gem of the neighborhood.

My wife and I have been going to budget lube for over 20 yrs. We refuse to go anywhere else. The people are still the same ones that worked there in the beginning. They are smart, attentive and know their business. I will always trust their expertise. You can too.

Normally when I wash my car there there will be one car wash machine that is not working properly. Takes your money but does not provide any service. When they are working adequate at best. They do have decent vacuum cleaners. Nothing great out of the ordinary. I did get my car inspected once there and was in and out fairly quickly.

I have been coming here since 1996. I have not had any problem with budget lube. 25 years of no problem deserves a 5 stars review.

Place dookie !!!! Went twice to go get a inspection both times couldnt even get it in the bay .

Parked my car in front of the inspection sign, waited 15 quick minutes outside, and paid $18.50 and tip before heading out. I dinged a star because my inspector wasn’t wearing a mask.

Cheap, but be careful, some bays dont work, get your coins and nothing happens. Also the water pressure was very low last 2 times I went there.

They always make it quick and easy with great time on an oil change and when I get state inspection done 10/10 recommend

I couldn’t say enough about these guys. I’ve been to them three times and each time they delivered with incredible service and kindness. The bolt on my oil holder was twisted on too tight and the last place I took it used the wrong tool to put it back on and completely messed it up. These guys gave their time of a whole hour and absolutely effort to fix it along with one of em who had a broken hand and still managed to get it done right. They also have never tried to squeeze my wallet of money. Amazing service with complete effort and affordable. I will gladly drive across town for their service again. I wish big corporate companies had the same heart

These guys are the best! Never had the car wash there, so cant say anything about that, but all other services are amazing! They are quick and professional, and prices are very reasonable (definitely wont try to rip you off like so many places do!) Tommy is an extremely knowledgeable mechanic, he saved my old car so many times, I cannot be more grateful. He would stay late to make sure my old girl is on the road again. Such good people! Dont hesitate to take your vehicle in, they will take good care of it.

THIS PLACE IS AWESOME. Honestly, the men who work there are so respectful and hard working. They also won’t try and scam you out of your money like Lamb’s Automotive will. I will always drive out of my way even if I hate their location with a passion JUST because I don’t trust my car to anyone else unless I have to. I’ve moved from one city to the other and now live an hour away from Austin but will STILL drive to this shop to get my car taken care of!

Im appalled and upset at their service. We typically go to them for state inspections, but today they did an inspection today of our Honda Odyssey and forcefully rolled down our window that couldnt be rolled down to the point where we cant even roll the window back up and didnt take responsibility for it. They even had the nerve to say we were a bad customer for demanding they fix it and even said they were doing us a favor. Im disgusted, and wont be returning to them.

When I moved out of the neighborhood I still make the trip here because they are the best. The car wash is great as well, 4 minutes per $1 is a good price for car wash. They also do state inspection.

This place is great. I take my car here for oil changes and inspections. The oil change never takes more than 10-15 minutes tops. Everyone working here is always very friendly too, which is a plus.The biggest reason for my 5-star review is that not once has anyone at this place tried to upsell me or make me feel like I was being taken advantage of.

Much cheaper than dealers or other shops, and way more honest. They have never tried to upsell me, and have only suggested changing an air filter when it is really dirty, and even showing me its condition to verify. They are really fast on oil changes, its awesome.

A rare find in automotive service, these guys are trustworthy. Most of the men who work there have been there for over 10 years which is unheard of in suburban Austin. So pulling up and recognizing a familiar face is a good start. They are polite, respectful and professional and they know autos. I recently had several issues with my pick-up that could have easily been diagnosed with outrageous and costly problems. Dave and Tommy found easy fixes. There is no doubt these repairs would have cost me thousands at any other shop but were less than $200 here. I never fear the add-on or mystery diagnoses you get at every other shop which makes car repair one of the scariest problems to deal with. At this place, you will get an honest assessment, usually with options. I highly recommend these guys for oil changes, inspections, and repairs. I have been with them for 13 years and will remain.

These guys are insanely fast even if youre third in line you can still get in an out of there in under 10-15 minutes. Ive gone to them before and was astonished.These are career guys and thenewest guy has been there for 15 years. They check other fluids too and also do state inspection when it comes time.I recommend these gentlemen above anyone else.

My dad stopped at this place for a quick oil change. They literally took 5 minutes without exaggeration. Cheap and quick.

Showed up 40 mins before close for a simple inspection and was waived away due to them being closed already.

They made me wait for so long and when my turn came they took my car and asked me to sit inside. The guy came and said your break light is not working and he can fix it. I said ok. Again he came and said its not bulb problem the whole set needs to be changed if I still go for emission test it will not pass. Then I been to autoparts where I came to know nothing was wrong. Then I went to another sticker shop where it passed. Now you can imagine about the service.

I moved to Austin 5 years ago. Just by chance came to this place. So happy they have always taken good care of me and, as a woman been very respectful in every way. I know live in Leander but make the drive as I feel that safe with this place to be honest and always take good care of my needs.

The cost is low compared to other self-serve car washes. However, maintenance is lacking. The equipment breaks very frequently. Its not unusual for the spray machines to take the money and then not turn on. Look for a stall that is already wet. That indicates the machinery might be working in that stall on that particular day.

Good, no frills, coin-operated DIY car wash. Do remember to bring lots of quarters. The change machine only accepts $1, $5, $10. Can was a 2 door coupe for less than $5.00. Would have given 5 stars if the equipment in every stall was working. As of last visit, one stall was out of order; the labeling on the sprayer controller has faded so I was not sure what mode it was set to.

I took my car here for an oil change right before the lunch hour. They had it completed within about 15 minutes of my arrival. Maybe even faster than that. My empty windshield wiper fluid was refilled too. The men were very friendly and professional. Highly recommend for oil changes.

$41 for oil. No filter. And they didnt do anything on there check list. Tires still low on air. Fluids still low. They did nothing but put oil in my vehicle.

Went in for the first time to get an oil/filter change on my 2003 Saturn L200, no appointment needed. They charged $33, checked all the fluids, and had it out within 15 minutes! Amazing, affordable service! On top of that, the guy noticed the plastic bag I ran over that melted to my muffler, and he tried to scrape it off for me. I didnt even tell him about it. They are so affordable, honest, and they dont try to BS you about anything or sell you anything extra. I plan to take my car here for other work in the future. Theres an indoor waiting room, and also a Jims restaurant right behind it so you can grab coffee or something while you wait (but you wont wait long). Take your car here for an oil change!

Doesnt get any better than these guys! Reasonable prices with hard working, extremely courteous and fast moving staff! They dont try to upsell... you leave with what you ask for. So worth putting a buck or two in the tip jar!

Weve gotten our oil changed for 10+ years here. We moved to Round Rock and I still drive over for them to do it. They are all friendly and Im in and out in about 15 mins. We also get our cars inspected here, also a quick service if its not the end of the month 😊
