This will be my next go to nail salon. Mia did an excellent job matching what I wanted to the final product even though they didnt have the sticker I needed, she handpainted the flowers I wanted on my nails.She also took an extreme amount of care into shaping my nails and was not hasty or rude like many other salons I have been to. The price was great! $75 for the full set!Photos of what I wanted and what I got are below.

I really wanted to love this place - it’s clean, friendly, they offered me drinks, and it has great reviews. The guy doing my nails was really kind - he convinced me to get gel on my toes which I never do because I trusted him. However once I got into the service, both the manicure and pedicure were painful - surprisingly so. I’ve never been in pain getting my nails done before. The guy kept cutting really deeply into my cuticles and side nails. I have multiple nails on my feet & hands that still really hurt the next day. It looks great, but I’m worried about infection, and it wasn’t worth the pain. I am horrible about saying things in the moment, so I just sat and took it, but I won’t come back. After reading deeply into the reviews, it looks like this sort of thing has happened to quite a few people. Also more expensive than other places.

Kim’s Nails is a wonderful salon. Everyone is very friendly and committed to making sure you are comfortable and completely satisfied. Lynn and Jennifer have done my nails and pedicures. Both ladies are professional and take pride in their services. Kim’s Salon has my highest recognition for quality services.

First time ever visiting here. Was recommended by friends and co-workers. Should have asked them who they see and book an appointment. My guy was super sweet but the quality of work was not good at all.When he was done it already looked like I needed a FILL! He tried to fix that but it only made it worse. At this point I would need a new set all together. Not pleased at all,and absolutely not worth $62!

Kims Nails is absolutely amazing!! I normally have a hard time finding a salon that does nail art and flawless long nails. Ive had my nails done by 5 different people here and everyone single person did a wonderful job. All the staff is very friendly. Huge color selection. Reasonable pricing. Pedicures are on point. Oh and did I mention their mimosas are delicious. I cant express enough how much I love this place. ❤

After getting into SNS or dip powder nails, I started looking for a different nail salon. I came across Kims Nails while reading reviews and decided to take a chance. I literally have not looked back. I get my nails done about every 2 weeks or maybe 3, if they last well. They last, they look AMAZING, and it doesnt matter who I get theyre all professional and good at their jobs!! I seriously recommend them!!

This was the best pedicure experience in the area I have ever had. My friends and I were treated like royalty here. I highly recommend this place and we will most definitely be back in the future!

I had never been here, now I’m a lifer 💅 the wait was pretty long, but I took that as a sign of a successful nail salon so I stuck it out. I was offered a complimentary beverage by this really sweet/funny receptionist while I waited. Mai was my nail technician— very professional and kind. I noticed that most customers around me appeared to be close/friendly to their nail technicians which again, I took as a good sign. All staff were dressed super nicely 👗 My gel nails turned out BEAUTIFUL. Zero flaws. Check the picture. Reasonably priced— $35. They also have waxing services that I will be trying soon. Until then, I will start making appointments ahead of time with Mai ☺️

Im bummed out that I didnt get my techs name, but he was amazing and has a great sense of humor, made the time go by so fast. All the techs there are so friendly and made me feel so welcomed. Im ALWAYS nervous trying a new salon. After doing a some research and by that I mean looking up the reviews and photos of other experience of course thats what research is. I loved what I seen in the photos at Kims. As I walked in I was a bit confused but assuming as lost as I looked I was told to sign in. I showed a photo to the gentleman in the front what I want or expected. Of course Im here for a full set and pedicure. Currently getting my pedicure from a young lady. She gave me color options and offered me drinks such as water, red wine, white wine, margarita, mimosa, coca-cola, diet coke, Dr pepper sprite. She even my toenails instead of just cutting them short without asking which usually at other places they just do. Its nice to be asked your preference. She than showed me the options for pedicures which honestly is a relief bc some places will choose the highest and charge you for that without your notice. This particular young lady is very well detailed and patient. Overall it is THE BEST place i ever got my nails done. If youre from Austin skip riverside and come treat yourself fr fr they make you feel like amazing!!!

For context, I get powder acrylics done monthly and have for years. I paused during the pandemic and we also moved far away from my old nail studio.After careful research, I decided on Kims. 90% of my expectations were met.The Good:- I made a same-day appointment and they took me on time.- They have *so* many color and design options. Most shops dont have fun colors like neons or blues and greens. Or they dont have many diamond/extra options. This place does.- They are clear and upfront about price.The Bad:- If youve had long acrylics put on, you know it takes a gentle hand. Otherwise it hurts a lot. Well, sadly, it hurt a lot. She filed my nails into shape without pressing on the nail so it didnt pull against the natural nail. It aches a full day after.- Again, it takes a gentle hand. I pulled my hand away multiple times when she filed too hard or made my toes bleed (pedicure), but no apology or regard.Verdict:Give this place a shot, especially if you want stylish, vibrant acrylics. Just choose the nail tech carefully.

My techs very confident in her work and I loved that, you can tell shes is experienced. Everyone seems very nice here! Ive never been to such a lavish-looking nail salon. VERY BEAUTIFUL!

I think this is the last time I will be coming to Kims nails. I went on Saturday and the nail tech cut my toe nails in a weird way, that now has my big right toe leaking pus and swelled up.Update: The nail salon went out of their way the other day to look me up in their rewards/points system and called me to check on me and have me to come in so it could be checked out. I came in and Kim herself the owner took a look and fixed whatever was wrong with it and put some medicated oil on it. I am feeling a lot better today. With that, I will up the review to 3 stars since they at least care about their customers enough to make things right.

Wow!!! Kim’s Nails is amazing. They have expanded since I was last here. The place is spacious, clean with more stations to accommodate their clientele. They treated me like a Queen. This is definitely my new nail place. Just a note, it is walk-only. No misleading ‘appointments’ like other salons.

I’ve been coming to this nail salon since I moved to Austin 3 years ago and it’s always a pleasure to come by! The owner and her husband are so sweet and funny and I’ve always had such a positive experience. They’ve expanded since I first started coming and seeing them grow is a delight to see. Will always recommend this place to any Austin friends!

I went to Kim’s nails for the first time and it was a good experience but I’ve only had my set for a few days and it already broke on me, my sets from other places usually last me a month. Great experience but wish my set could’ve lasted longer than a few days especially since I paid 100$ plus tip for a manicure and pedicure.

Great place! Tina is my preferred nail tech. But all are very tentative and make you feel so welcomed. Prices are awesome considering the best service you receive.

Kims nails is awesome! There are no long wait times, the employees are very friendly and I love that they accept different kinds of payments instead of just venmo like some places. The salon is very clean and takes good covid precautions with barriers at the nail stations. Tom, the technician who did my nails, did such a great job and added an extra hand massage at the end! The price was less than Im used to paying for a dip gel set. Definitely recommend!

We did not have an appointment but we were seen with 10 minutes of arriving. The technician did and great job on my manicure. My daughter’s nails turned out great too! Very clean with barriers at every station and the technicians were all wearing masks.

The most awesome nails I have ever had but totally got jipped on the best parts of a pedicure... lazy massage and not scrubbing on my feet. They did offer 5$ off though which helped.

This is my second time visiting Kims Nails, and they go above and beyond. I came in for an sns full set and Thi was amazing! She offered me so many color options as soon as I sat down (and also asked if I wanted something to drink) and recommendations when it came to nail shape and what color I wanted when I was indecisive. I would say dont bother visiting any other nail salon because this place is the best. Everything is very clean and sterilized and they also take your temperature as soon as you walk in as well for those that are hesitant about visiting a salon during COVID. I will definitely be returning in the future for all my nail needs.

The lady charged me $42 bucks for a set of white gel toe nails. I will never come here again she kept leaving me in the chair sitting down just to go talk to her friend that was also doing my cousins toe nails, I was hoping to have a great experience it was my first time going there they offered me a drink & i got a margarita but it didnt even have alcohol in it. Could just say it was lemonade. Also the lady didnt do a very good job on my toes either, she left certain spots dented or uncolored. I just hope they dont do this to anybody else !

It’s been a few months but I use to go to Kim’s nails to get my nails done. I use to get gel acrylics done by Kim until one day she made one of my nails noticeably shorter than the other. When I went back to get a fill I nicely told her about the mistake she made and she became upset and rudely told me if I want to complain…someone else could do my nails because she don’t care. After that as bad as I wanted to give her a piece of my mind I was proud of my self because I remained humble through the whole situation even after I feel that they were taking about me in their language. This was so unprofessional. This place is over rated and all they care about is money. I don’t feel like they care about their clients at all. I will never go back and spend money at this place.

I found my new nail lady!!! I never get any designs but she can literally draw anything you want. She is one of the best nail artists. She has never disappointed me.

Really great pedi here! The nail on my big toe grows in a weird way from an old in-grown surgery (sorry for the over-share) and most nail technicians just ignore it but here my tech addressed it and removed it almost painlessly. This was my first Pedi in almost two years so maybe anything wouldve been amazing but Kims Nails really knocked it out of the park. Thank you!

My last review disappeared and it might’ve been my fault. - so I’m re-writing it! I came Here to get a mani - pedi about 2-3weeks ago it was good I got a manicure done and some nail art it was cool I loved the nails. However when I got my pedicure the man was way too rough with my left toe it started bleeding. I’ve never Experienced this and it hurt a lot. He brushed it off and used this weird pink liquid. Still don’t know what that could’ve been could’ve been anything. Any who, if it wasn’t for that I would’ve been a long term customer. Still looking for my life long salon.

I usually don’t go to nail salons but when I do I go to Kim’s nails Kim is always really nice. However, this last time I went in the lady that did my nails was so rude I asked her a simple question about the nail polish and she told me very rudely to get out of the chair and go pick a color cause “I didn’t know what I wanted” she even put her hand on me to get me off the chair I was so embarrassed and humiliated.

They are very good at what they do! You can tell they are properly trained. Very fastidious and fast! Been looking for a good nail salon since I got to Austin and finally found the one! I will definitely be back!

I absolutely LOVE Kim’s! All of the nail artists are amazing. Even if you have a favorite one, you can always count on any one of them to deliver the best quality. You don’t see this in most nail salons, which is probably what separates them as being one of the better salons. In my opinion, Sam, Sony, and Lam are the ones you should try to get an appointment with though! You won’t be disappointed. The environment is welcoming and relaxing and they keep you laughing :) it took me a while to find a good nail salon in Austin, but I’m glad I have found my place.

The most painful manicure I’ve ever had. Manicurist rushed and was so rough, even after I asked him to be more gentle. Final result looks nice, but I wanted a relaxing experience.

My nail tech left the acetone soak off on my hands for so long that my skin is burning. They have a very small selection of acrylic so if thats what youre wanting this may not be the place for you. Didnt seem to care for details. My pedicure was not a relaxing experience and seemed rushed. Also, the man at the desk charged me more for a full set than what was listed on their service menu even though I did not get any add ons.

Clean place with amazing service. The lady who did my nails is Jennifer. She was amazing. I went in not knowing what I wanted. I explained to her that I have a special event coming up and she did a great job! She picked a great design for my nails knowing I needed something that would match whatever I chose to wear and look great in pictures.Jennifer was efficient (she shaped and did my set in an hour) and my nails look clean, polish, and elegant. Its clear that the product they use are of good quality.They are clearly a favorite place, despite covid, the shop was busy. And I understand why, they do a FANTASTIC job.

I got a shellac manicure and was thrilled with the results. Being so pale, Im super picky and indecisive about polish color but my tech patiently worked with me and let me try a few on.

Ive been searching for a clean, professional nail salon since I moved here a little over a year ago. I found that. My tech took such great care of my feet that I will definitely 10/10 be a regular here.

Best place ever! Employees care about you, so far, they have been the nicest and most careful nail tech I have ever seen. In one of my appointments, I did gel for my toes and wanted deep powder for my nails, and wanted a similar color for both. Well, they had about three different people look for the color and they brought to me about 7 different shades until we found the most similar one.

Staff is always very friendly and welcoming. They do a fantastic job!!!

This place is great. Very good service and the outcome of the nails always come out fantastic.

I felt very rushed and not valued as a customer. I went with 2 friends and every person around us was offered water or wine when they were seated. We were offered nothing. When I was done I noticed one of my nails had obvious bubbles on it but, the nail tech didnt say anything and acted annoyed when I asked him to fix it. Im from NYC and I think $50 for an acrylic fill with two snowflakes is overpriced especially when one of the snowflakes was smudged.

I have gone here about a handful of times and I have been pleased every single time!!! I just came back today for a Valentine’s Day set and forgot why I stopped coming. In looove with the set and my nail tech was super super patient, took her time on each nail, and you could just tell she’s had many years experience!! She took my previous set off the CORRECT way and overall 10/10 experience. Loving the remodel. Definitely coming back from now on!

I got a full set here about two and a half weeks ago and I was SO impressed. Sony was my tech and she was great - she had a hell of a time removing my old set because the previous salon I went to put an insanely thick layer of powder on them. She was super patient and did a great job taking them off without hurting me. And the new set she gave me is SO beautiful, the shape is just gorgeous and she did a fantastic job on the color and style. I definitely will be going back to see her. My only suggestion is to make an appointment because they can get pretty packed. ;)

I had been looking for a new nail tech/salon and a coworker recommended this place. I am very picky when it comes to nails so I was a little worried. I was so surprised at how great my nails came out! There are a lot of colors to choose from. Beverages were offered. Tina was my nail tech and she did an amazing job! Go see her, you won’t be disappointed!

This is the main place I get my nails done because of how much I trust that theyll do a great job. Im the type that can notice if my nails arent symmetrical and it drives me crazy, they pay great attending to detail every time Ive gone which is why I keep going back! Theres not even any one person that Id recommend, Ive had a different nail tech every time and theyve all been great!

This was my first time patronizing this salon. I had Tim do an Organic Deluxe hot stone pedicure and OMG he was so thorough and the massage was amazing. He had definitely earned himself a repeat customer. The establishment itself was so clean, and all the technicians were absolutely delightful.

First time coming here and it wasn’t the greatest experience I’ve had. We had little wait time but the lady who attended me cut me and made me bleed on all my fingers on my left hand. She cut me with the nail file, nail drill, and the nail clipper. The colors were pretty but my right hand nails ended up bubbly.

Good service, poor service quality with just 6 days of manicure look at the state. They are gel that usually should last longer than normal paint
