Jen is the BEST!!! She is the absolute sweetest and so talented with hair I recommend her so much. This salon is very nice and the front desk people are so friendly as well. I am in love with my new hair, I started going here when I had very dark hair which is my natural color, and Ive been able to lighten it a lot and my hair is super healthy. I really recommend Jen she is beyond incredible!

Keith did an amazing job with my hair cut. It had been over a year since my last visit to a salon and I left feeling well taken care of, and like new life was given to my hair. Keith took time to listen to my requests and my normal routine to get a good idea for what type of cut would work best for me. All around great experience!

I apparently did not do a great job asking for what I was looking for and after 3 hours and $200, definitely walked away with a top 5 worst hair cuts to date. I didnt realize how bad it was until I got home. My coworkers and friends even noticed, which was pretty embarrassing - just glad hair grows back! Will not personally return but advise everyone to be specific about what youre looking for in a final outcome!

Made an appointment and the salon called me to cancel. Made a replacement appointment and the salon called me to cancel again right before the second requested service time. Have never seen such instability with appointments at a hair salon before. They have a very strict cancelation policy that ensures you pay half the price of your service if you cancel, yet does not hold themselves to the same standards. 👎

They scheduled me for a 4:30 appointment but when I arrived they said I was so late so they’d only be able to do a dry cut. They were so rude and it wasn’t until I told them that my confirmation was for 4:30 that they admitted to knowing but that they had to change it. They called the wrong number so I never got notified but they continued to be rude while having no problem solving skills nor good customer service. Couldn’t even offer anything for the inconvenience but attitude.UPDATE: a manager still hasn’t reached out like they said they would.

Keith is a magical unicorn! It’s 4 hours after my hair appointment and I still feel like I’m walking on sunshine. My hair is incredibly happy and I feel light, refreshed and sparkly. I received a devacut from him and so much more. He’s an outstanding human being and perhaps a magical being. He shines from the inside out in the most gentle and vivacious way. And, I’ll not forget to add, he’s a phenomenal hair specialist. My curls and I thank him.

Oh my goodness this place is amazing! Great service, complimentary wine and fantastic work. Raquel did corrective bayalage on my hair and it turned out so amazing. She also told me some tips to keep my hair looking healthy. The price is definetly worth it!!!!!!!

I have been using Lany for over two years and I love her. She helped my hair when it was at its worst. I cannot say enough good things about Lany.I haven’t had a great experience at Bella Salon and miss when she was at The Collective because they were always so kind and welcoming. The front of house and the customer care is just terrible. But at least they don’t cut your hair. They would probably shave your head if they could.

I booked a make up appointment with Talisha Kaye, and absolutely loved it! I was going for a light natural look and she executed perfectly! My make up was flawless and Talisha was very efficient!

Trista is an amazing hairstylist. But there front desk is not organized. Just when I thought I finally found a great salon. The first time I made an appointment no one called me to tell me that the original stylist was sick, luckily Trista was a a available and did a great job. This next time I made an appointment and I called the day of and no appointment was ever made. I was so disappointed because after waiting for two months with the quarantine I had no appointment. Was very upset and now I will find another salon.

Charlene, who was supposed to be an expert cutting curly hair, did an awful job with mine. It is way shorter than what we talked about and what I showed her. All along she kept telling me how great it will look, which was definitely not the case. Now it is at such a weird length that I can neither put it down nor up. Finally, she styled my hair for at least 10 minutes and by the time i left the salon, my hair was still completely wet. I dont know how other stylists at this salon are but I definitely would NOT recommend Charlene.

Bella is one of few salons that treats their employees well and pays them fairly / legally. They have a cute space and a friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Love the vibe and my hair every time I leave here. No bad hair days for weeks on end! Sam is a great colorist and I find her cuts easy to style on my own (my hair has mind if its own, so a good cut makes a difference). Another plus for me - Bella is open on weekends and you can book an appointment online.

Monica Marquez is not only incredibly talented, she is a fantastic stylist because she is a good listener. My hair is exactly as Ive envisioned it, only better now because of her. I think it takes great skill to do hair, but its even a greater skill to be able to listen to your clients needs and, dare I say it, read between the lines. Sometimes clients dont know how to articulate what it is they want. Monicas intuitive capacity cannot be understated. Because of this, I highly recommend her to anyone who is ready to do something different.She will treat your hair as if it were her own.

I absolutely love how beautiful Steven Taylor made my hair. He is a true artist. The salon was simply fantastic, even enjoyed a great glass of red wine while I was there. But really - the stunning, subtle streaks of light that Steven layered through my hair are fabulous. And my hair has never, ever been this shiny! This is also the best cut Ive had in over 20 years, maybe ever. I highly recommend Bellas Salon from top to bottom.

I made an appointment for an eyebrow waxing at 10:30 AM. I called to let them know I was running 4 minutes late and they told me they were going to have to push my appointment time because I was going to throw off the next appointments.4 minutes?!The later time wouldnt work for me due to plans I had made, and so I was charged a $12.50 cancellation fee. And they wouldn’t consider waiving the fee. If they had, I would have absolutely worked to reschedule for another day and it would have earned some loyalty from me, too.I understand there are certain policies in place, I understand they have a business to run, but this lack of flexibility was something I have never experienced before. And the manager on duty called me hun on the phone, which came across very demeaning.I do appreciate the manager making an attempt to kindly explain the policies. And the one time I did get my brows waxed there they did a good job. But the lack of flexibility or consideration made it clear that this isnt a place where I want to continue doing business.My recommendation:1. Build in a 5 minute grace period between appointments.2. Explain at every step of the way (time of appointment made, time of phone reminder, etc.) that if you are more than 5 minutes late you won’t be accommodated at your set appointment time.What I experienced today is not how to win over favor, trust, and loyalty from customers.

Had an amazing cut with Laney (sp?) yesterday morning! I initially found Bella salon by googling best salons in Austin and they were among the top rated three. I looked at the reviews and was super excited!I showed Laney a picture of what I had in mind (full bangs with layers) and we were immediately in sync as to what would be perfect for me. Laney took her time with me and eased my nerves about a big hair change right off the bat. When we were done I could not have been more pleased. This is my favorite Bella Salon place in Seattle. It took me almost a year to fin and I was dearly missing my esthetician back home but Nova came to my rescue! Shes super nice and friendly, does an awesome job and is super fast. Cant ask for more right?The pricing is right for the quality as long as you come in every 5 weeks.

I used to love this place. Like LOOOOVE it. However the two people who made me love it, no longer work here. They quoted me one price on my nails, charged me WAY more. Not to mention, my nails looked terrible. It was clumped and built up all around my cuticles, my manicure lasted 3 days and they did not book me for the right service so there was not enough time to do what I asked, I had to spend extra time the day of my wedding having them fix my nails. They charged me more on my bridal package as well and told me Id be pampered, felt like in other day. I had them do my sisters hair, a different women cut it uneven and parted her hair down the middle. It was a lifeless mess in all my wedding pictures. Super disappointed in this place. No longer recommend. Jess who does eyebrows and makeup would be the only reason Id say this place is OK now and gets 2 stars instead of 1. She does a great job.

My sister recommended this Salon for me and I absolutely loved Ellen! My hair always takes a standard 3 hours to do and she was super friendly and made the time pass with her easy to talk to personality. Looks like Ive found my go-to salon for Austin!

The ladies at the front desk should speak more clearly when taking calls BUT KEITH ROCKS MY SOCKS OFF! He is always so personal with his services from hair washing to being the pro and taking over my head! He is always taking new classes to become better at his passion in hair and sharing his new found results!

Jessica did a fantastic job correcting a very, very, bad haircut I got at another salon. It took her two hours but I was so satisfied with the result.

Ive had so many mens cuts, as one might expect. But Shelby Blecha has done an amazing job for me. Truthfully, hes probably a little over qualified for my subtle and continuous maintenance, lol. Nonetheless, hes there for me. He offered some great advice as well on my own styling at home and staying positive about my look or appearance. Hes a great guy and I highly recommend his services. Very experienced and TALENTED.

I recently moved to Austin and have been trying to keep up a long distance relationship with my hair guy in Houston, but it wasnt working out. I had one cut in Austin and it was okay so I decided to try another place. Bella Salon was the only place with a high rating that had an opening on my day off so I took my chances with Samantha and I LOVE her. Rob at the front desk is so nice and helpful and the salon is GORGEOUS but really, it comes down to the cut and its exactly what I wanted. Im going back next week for color.... I cant wait to try their other services which are all reasonably priced imo.

Love this salon! Everyone is genuinely friendly, the music is usually good, and you can sip on wine or other beverages during your service. They also have a great variety of carefully selected products (including all natural brands like Eufora). Im in love with my incredible stylist Samantha Martin (@samsfeelgoodinc on IG) who expertly interprets my ever changing hair cut & color desires into a shiny, healthy looking reality. Ive been seeing her for several years and wouldnt dream of going to anyone else. Oh and I think its work mentioning her amazing scalp massages as well....

Lany did an absolutely amazing job on my short cut. I showed her a picture of what I wanted and she replicated it EXACTLY. The whole experience was great.. Luis was able to get me and my sister in for haircuts and color on a last minutes notice, Monica did a great angled cut on my sister and of course lany went above and beyond on coloring and cutting off at least 10+inches of hair and styling it very nice and trendy. Very impressed and want to give all of them a big shout out! I will be back!

I went to Samantha for my color and I highly recommend her. She’s professional, talented, and ensured I got exactly what I wanted.

My friend and I made last minute appointments and got excellent haircuts!

I showed pictures of exactly what I wanted (black roots melting into purple with pink ends to hide my roots) and what I didnt want (stark roots showing with a uniform peach pink color). Ive never spent so much money and time at a salon and been so unhappy with the results and Ive had my hair fried. After +6 hours I walked out looking the exact shade of horrible I didnt want, but now with an even more visible outgrowth. I was promised a Keratin treatment and I didnt get it because my hair didnt need it... not true. I asked for a redo which would have cost at least $120 (FOR A REDO) since Bella only fixes it for free if they feel they screwed up, which they didnt feel they did this time... also not true. How about a refund? No, didnt get that either. The entire process was humiliating and insulting.

So upset. Turned my hair bright orange!!! :( I came here for routine blonde highlights on my brown hair, something Ive been doing for years. My hair looked fine when I left Bella so I thought it was okay...I woke up the next morning and my hair was bright orange! I called immediately and they told me to email them photos of my hair so they could assess what needed to be done, which I did, but then I never heard back. I emailed again and got no response, so I called twice more and finally got someone at the front desk to talk to me the next day.I told them that my hair was orange and that I was going out of town to a family reunion and needed to have it fixed ASAP. They explained that theyre closed 3 days of the week, which happened to be the 3 days leading up to my departure. In tears, I asked them if there was any possible way I could come in sooner at any time to see any stylist and they said no and that the color fix would only be comped if I went to the same stylist. In the end they couldnt fit me in with her for another 2 weeks.Since I couldnt have orange hair for 2 weeks, I called my old salon and they were able to take me the next day. They did the best they could to make the orange look blonde, but now Im out the cost of 2 full highlights and I still look kind of ginger :( I totally understand that accidents happen with color and that this salon has operating hours that they cant change, but I was really disappointed that Bella didnt make any type of effort to squeeze me in or accommodate me considering the situation. I know its just hair, but I went from brunette with blonde highlights to brassy orange and their response didnt really show much care for what happened :(

I had a great experience here. Monica did a fantastic job creating my sexy layered hair cut. The place is so cute and I love how they decorated inside. I’ll definitely be back. I love that they use orbe-it smells sooo good and cosmedix skincare is awesome too!

Dont bother making an appointment. 2 of the 3 times Ive made an appointment they cant find my reservation or say that it has been canceled. Very unprofessional and unorganized front staff.

I came in for a last minute appointment because I had velcro and adhesive fused into my hair after a bad run-in with an inflatable velcro wall. Instead of realizing how long the process would take and sending me away, Monica at Bella Salon moved appointments around and spent 7 hours working out the crazy knots on my head. Everyone on staff came by to help out in between appointments. I was never made to feel like I was a burden or taking away their time. I have never been so awestruck by such amazing customer service. I went in thinking I would be leaving with a pixie cut and left with my hair still past my shoulders and in a gorgeous layered haircut as if nothing had happened. I will be going back to Bella Salon for all of my hairdressing needs. If I could give them a higher than 5-star rating, I would! THANK YOU BELLA SALON!

Mie has been doing my nails at Bella Salon for about 3-4 years now. My nails always look gorgeous when I leave. Mie always has creative ideas for my nails, whether its a new color or a little glitter. I never knew how much I liked glitter until Mie persuaded me to try a little! She also does beautiful nail art. Last time I visited her, she did a reverse French manicure with burgundy colored tips. The look beautiful and unusual - Ive gotten so many compliments. And her manicures last a very long time. Almost two weeks later, the polish is still shiny without any chips.Raquel at Bella has been doing my hair for about 8 years now. She gives an awesome cut and style. My husband goes to her as well - shes the only hairstylist who knows how to deal with all his weird cowlicks. In the past year Ive started coloring my hair. I showed Raquel some pictures and she managed to incorporate all of them for some long lasting highlights. She did such a great job that even 6 months later, when the color started to fade, my hair still looked great and I dont have a weird line between the color and my natural color.Im so glad to have both Mie and Raquel at Bella to help me look my best!
