Everyone was really nice and helpful. I had a lot of anxiety going to the dentist after about a decade of not seeing one. They were kind and understanding. They explained everything I needed and offered in house financing that will let me get everything I need while making easy monthly payments. I’m so happy to have found them as a dental provider.

Dr Armand is the best dentist in Austin I had a pair of dentures built at hisvofc on North Lamar never once did I see him uncomfortable bout his job. He would explain what he was doing plus why. The staff are always super friendly, Ive seen posts of a long wait time which may happen but thats life.. Im always well taken care of and my issues are addressed thoroughly. I go to brident for both my regular dental and orthodontist visits. Both doctors are very polite and courteous. The dental assistants are all very professional while making you feel comfortable. Id definitely recommend them to all my family and friends.

This is a great place to get dental work. I have a serious fear of dentists but these people put my mind at ease and helped me to relax through it. Its very clean and the people are very nice and informative.

It’s always a little worrisome when you establish care with a new dentist, but I can’t say enough good things about Dr Iman. I have been working through a treatment plan he established for me a few months ago and I’ve had multiple appointments with him. He is quite possibly the most gentle dentist I have ever seen. Completely impressed.

Too many people in office for COVID times. People not wearing masks. Was told I would be able to get either extraction or dental work performed that day prior to appointment. Work was not performed. Only x-rays were taken, and the dentist didnt even look in my mouth ONCE! Simply a referral shop with plenty of attitude from the dental assistant to go around. Plus, its a visibly dirty facility in AN OLD WENDYS BUILDING! Grosss!

Its been years I havent been to a dental office they explain treatment options besides tooth pain I have.

I had an appointment today that was scheduled months in advance. When I arrived I was informed that the office was short staffed and noone was available to perform my 6 month cleaning. Someone left me a voicemail message 1 hour before I left for my appointment. I spoke to the office manager Willie who was nonchalant about me having to take off work and pay tolls to arrive there on time. I explained that I understand how things come up but someone should have made another attempt to make contact with such short notice or at least tried to get me in at another office. He picked up the phone and called 2 other locations without explaining the circumstances. There was no real attempt to help me. I am extremely disappointing. Now Im looking for a new dentist so if anyone out there knows of an office that offers great service, please let me know.

Worst dental practice I have ever been to. Their prices for codes are not updated or different from the insurance companys so they charge more. To fix this, you need multiple phone calls to the insurance company and the office. I am only going to this place because my dental insurance in HMO. Once the treatment is done, I am not going back to this place.

Very unprofessional. They had done my braces a while back and nothing has changed. The front desk staff is a mess. They allowed me to schedule an appointment for oral surgery, which I had specified when making the appointment, however the lady did not inform me that the surgeon was not available until July. I wasted about an hour and a half of my time filling out paperwork, all for them to tell me they could not see me.

No problems. They got me back 15 minutes after my appointment time. Taking out screws, taking X-rays, & getting 2 mouth/teeth impressions only took an hour. The music they softly play isn’t annoying either.

Terrible service, they do not notify that they cancel appointments until you arrive, they make you waste time, money if you travel by transport, they are not serious or responsible!

Whilst the doctor is friendly the office is not efficiently run. Everytime you go here expect your normal checkup to take an hour and then they will make you wait a half hour for your cleaning. They claim the check up and the cleaning are separated and they dont guarantee treatment (cleaning) the same day. In my years of going to the dentist theyve never had me come in for x rays then have me come back for a cleaning, maybe I just had a great dentist in another state.

My appointment was at 11. Tell me why it’s an hour and half later and I’m still waiting to be seen for a cleaning.

I went in August for a consultation to get my wisdom teeth out. They told me they don’t have an oral surgeon right now (I’m happy they were honest at least) but will call me in a month or so once they get one. Still no call and now I need to find a new dentist. I don’t understand why they schedule for oral surgery appointments if they can’t even do it??Place was nice and staff was friendly. I’d only go for a cleaning if you have to.Update: they scheduled me in March to come back??? Nobody called me 😂 I just got a text reminder of my appointment.. odd.

This was one of the worst dental experiences Ive ever had. I moved to Texas about a year ago and hadnt found the time to get my regular check up and cleaning, so I booked an appointment here.I was still in the waiting room 30 minutes after my scheduled time. When I finally went back, the x-ray technician took about 20 minutes to get my x-rays - she was inexperienced and had to redo about 6 of the x-rays because she was unable to figure out which teeth she needed to get x-rays of. I was then seen by the doctor who quickly checked to see if I had cavities or anything of concern.The dental hygienist then came over to give me my cleaning and start to finish (plaque removal, polishing, flossing, and fluoride treatment) took MAX 8 minutes. She claimed I had a very clean mouth and thats why it was so quick. Ive had dental hygienists take more time than she did even when my check ups are at the 6 month mark. The assistant put fluoride on my teeth and didnt bother to wipe off or offer anything to wipe off my lips.I will never go back here because they made it clear throughout my painfully long hour and a half visit that my needs and health were not a priority.

I had my first and only appointment last April. The dentist told me that I had a very small cavity on my wisdom tooth and that it wasn’t a big deal, but he told me that he wouldn’t fill the cavity. He told me that because it was a wisdom tooth it should be extracted and told me that was my only option. I have had my wisdom tooth filled before without any issues. I decided to go to a different dentist. The new dentist (which is my current dentist still) took a look at the cavity and told me that filling it would be no problem. They brought me in for an appointment and filled it without any issue. I’m pretty disappointed with the incompetence or laziness of the dentist I saw at Brident Dental who refused to fill a simple wisdom tooth. He probably has some deal with a dental surgeon and makes more money from people getting their wisdom teeth pulled. What a sad world where greed is out ahead of people’s best interests.The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because the office staff is really nice and were very helpful when I wanted to get a copy of my xrays.

The staff has been great! Every experience has been better than the previous. I saw new staff members today who were very nice and welcoming. Brident has been one of the best dental places I have been too.

This office is a great place. Employees are very professional I feel confident they will be able to help me with all my dental needs.

I have always had a good experience in the office, however recently the card I had in file for payment expired and their collections department began calling several times a day. When I was finally able to talk to someone they were very rude. I explained that I was out of town and would provide the new card information when I returned the next week but they continued to call several times a day, even after I made the payment. This level of harassment is unnecessary especially when the client has a good history of payment. If I werent locked in with a contract it might have been enough for me to take our business elsewhere.

One of the most incompetent dental offices I’ve ever been to. Appointments are never on time and they wanted me to return a third time just to get my teeth cleaned. If there was an option for a lesser rating I would have chosen it.

Scheduled an appointment to get tooth extracted. Made it extremely clear what I was coming in for. I even had a referral. I went in for my appointment and they said “their specialist won’t be in for another 3 weeks”. System is very flawed.

Theyre a really great nice friendly respectful and understanding I have a fear of dentists in a fear of needles and I usually freak out but I didnt this time theyre very understanding and they told me what theyre doing step by step they made me feel very comfortable would recommend to all friends and family

The dentists are friendly, however they need an online system to make appointments and cancellations. Twice I had waited 30mins to reschedule an appointment, neither atempt was able to speak to someone.

Was very disappointed with my experience with them. I showed up for my appointment and was told that their periodontist only comes in once a month and I had missed them the day before. They explained that they couldn’t take any responsibility for the confusion because it was booked by a call center. I will definitely not be using their services in the future.

Had my teeth checked, cleaned, and a couple cavities filled here this week. Everyone working here, from the front desk staff to the assistants to the dentist, were nice to be around, focused, and professional. They did a great job with me. The only explanations I can think of for why there are so many bad reviews for this place is that they had crappy staff members that no longer work there, or its just people are in a bad mood when they go to the dentist and enjoy the classic American pastime of being suspicious of authority and bitching about people who are more educated than them.

Dental treatment is great but their front office staff is not. I am really tired of scheduling appointments only to have them have to reschedule. Once because they decided to have an office meeting (I received less than 24 hours notice on that one) and the most recent - the doctors would not have time to do the procedure I needed because the appointment was not book correctly (I explained 3 times to the girl what I was coming in for). Have had problems with front office suddenly deciding I didnt really need the referral - after arguing with me they decided to go ask the dentist and guess what, I did need the referral). It is very, very frustrating.

When I called I let them know that I have Medicaid for pregnant women and was told that was accepted along with my other insurance. When I showed up they told me they didnt accept Medicaid for pregnant women. I asked why their call center told me different, he said that the call center doesnt know who accepts what. I went ahead with the appointment, stupidly, and then waited an hour and a half to see the dentist. My appointment was at 11:30 and I was not seen till 1. The dentist then told me he can only do a clean, even though I have cavities, nothing else and it would be $175. I even brought a note from my Dr saying it was okay for me to have the work done. Waste of time. * also had to listen to the staff talk about other people right behind me while I was waiting the whole time.

I had a good experience with the dentist who did my filling . He does his job well. He was very careful and made sure I did not experience any pain. He was very meticulous. And I appreciate a person that cares for their patients.

Dr. Shyani, being an awesome dentist there on North Lamar Austin branch, does an Orthotontist level skillful care & treatment. She is excellent dentist. Also, supporting staff to her such as Ms. Briceida and Ms. Annette and Yesenia at front desk are also provide excellent service. Ghans.

Wonderful doctors, nurses and assistants . They are all very nice and helpful. They care whether you have questions or concerns. They want you to be comfortable. The place is very clean and welcoming.

Three appointments cancelled by them. Will not do anything other than ask me to trust them. I just cant trust at this point that I will ever see a dentist. Dont go, not worth it.

I usually only go on social media to complain about things, hence my name. In this case I just wanted to thank Brident Dental for their service. Brident took care of me and me feel comfortable like a lover in a warm bed.

The oral surgeon did a great job of taking out my tooth and German is a great assistant.

Good service with all the staff except with this one tech who is so unprofessional ( I describe her as old blonde, blue/green eyes, grouchy lady who assisted my dentist) I dont know what makes her so grouchy but its seems like she doesnt know policy and procedure of her job and etiquette at work. Every pt has the right to know everything so if a patient ask you about what your doing, do not give her attitude. I also work in medical field, even if I have problem at home I dont bring it to work and always wear smile and dont give attitude to your patients.

I love Brident. Coming back next week so they can drill and fill this nasty cavity I have all the way up in my mouth.

I went to Brident yesterday to have a orthodontic consultation. That went well enough and I even liked the doctor I spoke with but Ive been harassed by their international call center SEVEN (SEVEN!!) times this morning because they think I missed my appointment. Ive explained during ALL SEVEN calls that I was at my appointment and theyve apologized and said that they would note to not call me again...only to get another phone call. After my initial laughter at their horrible process, Ive reached the end of my patience and decided that I will not subject myself to this disorganization for 12-18 months and Ive blocked the number.One odd thing about my appointment was that I didnt get a formal quote regarding the treatment plan. The rep I worked with wrote the two options for braces ($3970 for metal brackets and $4970 for clear/gold ones) on a sticky note. When I took all three of my kids to their orthodontists in another town (10+ years ago), we got nice copies of the panoramic x-rays, photos of their bites, printed treatment plans, etc. Just thought the sticky note was weird...maybe thats how they keep their costs down? :-D

I missed two days of work because of these bums. One at the Oltorf center, and when that was closed on a Tuesday, I went to the North Lamar location. They have a call center that tells you yeah, come on in, we can accommodate...then once you get there...they say it will be about 2 hours, and there is no guarantee we can complete your treatment today.. you are met with endless upsells, and then when you decline, they get attitude! Unbelievable. Put your customers concerns first - first rule of customer service. Im still in pain, and they did not care, one bit...even though I was scheduled for a crown. Will never, ever return, and will tell my neighbors, friends, co-workers and family to steer clear at all costs!

(More of a 3.5/5) Cant speak about general dentistry but their orthodontist work is excellent. The orthodontists are some of the nicests and skilled doctors I have encountered. The downside is that the wait times are a too long (schedule on a day off or after work), but I care more about affordability. I only had one bad experience with a rather rude dental assistant (I should have spoken up but I was on my lunch break and just wanted it to be done. Always advocate for yourself especially if you are a paying customer!) but I have not seen her working anymore and the rest of the dental assistants are fantastic. I am satisfied with my results. Dr. Jaffer is great.

I regret ever going to this dental office. I would drive 45 mins to 1 hour to be told that the hygienist wouldnt be in to take care of my kiddos, wasted so much time going back and forth and the service has been trash. I stopped the treatment, asked them to take their equipment off my kids teeth, and have had my sons teeth put in a mold like 5 times, the last 2 times to get his retainer fitted, broke that mold, then go back and the retainer doesnt even fit. This office is so inconsistent.

I cant say good enough things about Brident Dental on Lamar. First of all I was scared about going to the dentist, after a traumatic experience with getting two wisdom teeth removed I was very scared to see a dentist again. Not to mention it had been a few years since Id seen a dentist, but after waking up to a large piece of my tooth missing I had to go.First of all the call center was professional I had an appointment the very next day. Secondly I didnt have to wait at all. I came to my appointment on time and literally five minutes later I was getting xrays. The office staff was professional and courteous. But most importantly they were understanding and reassuring while I filled out my paper work. As soon as my xrays were done I was in a room and the dental assistant was there to reassure me and tell me everything was going to be fine.I dont want to butcher the spelling of her name, so Ill call my Dentist Dr. S. As far as I could tell she was the only female dentist but she was AMAZING. She didnt judge me, she wasnt coarse. She was gentle while examining my teeth. And she never tried to upsell me on anything she didnt think I needed. She was concerned with me and how I felt and making sure we could take care of any discomfort I had as soon as possible.In the end Dr. S came up with a great care plan for me. I needed a filling, a crown for the chipped tooth, and a good Deep Cleaning and Scaling, and to have my final two wisdom teeth removed. But in the end she decided it was necessary to pull those teeth. She SAVED me money. When it came time to figure out payments the young lady who went over what I was spending was concerned with making sure I could AFFORD the payments not how soon I could pay it back. She explained everything in detail and made sure I was satisfied with our arrangements.And here we are a month later. My plan of care is completed and I have a brand new crown, my teeth are healthier and whiter than they have been in years and feel amazing. And now theyve even helped me figure out a way to afford to get a second crown to avoid another cracked tooth. In the end Dr. S, the office staff at brident and their TALENTED Assistants all came together to create an amazing experience for me that I cant rave about enough.Brident is now my dentist office, and Dr. S is my dentist and Im more than happy to visit them every year and I trust theyll keep my best interests and the health of my teeth at the forfront of their minds.Thank you Brident on Lamar, and you have my upmost gratitude and a full recommendation that you are a great office and deserve far more patients.Michael Powell

I had spoken with a young male voice on the phone and set up an cleaning with Dr. Shiryan (Spelling could be off). One the phone I originally said 9:45 but then opted around 10 instead, the idiot cancelled the appointment without moving it to the appropriate time.So I showed up today and could not get my cleaning nor inquire about braces.I’ll take my time and money elsewhere.Fire the two kids working up front.

If I could not select a star I would... Worst place ever, as a owner of a business I take everything in the business and everyone a bit more serious as if they worked for me. I think Brident needs to look at there team and re-evaluate who works for them. The Drs themselves are AMAZING at what they do BUT what makes it so bad is the face of the business, the women in front who deals with most of the customers is very unprofessional and very very rude, as she shows up to work with hickies on her neck like a kid that faze should have been done and gone as a child along with the attitude young lady. Please take this as a helpful way to BETTER yourself, I am as well a military veteran who understand what you need to do and be like when you represent a business BIGGER THAN YOU.... Respect and responsibility along with serving for others is what you need to go to school and learn.... Hours waiting in the waiting room when you have a appointment scheduled is completely disrespectful to your customers, treating people like they are not important isnt building relationships and value to the business, please find a way to correct this problem dont schedule to many in 10 minutes each person. I just feel bad for the other employees to get such bad reviews because of really 1 person acting like she owns the business. This place is horrible. Stopped treatment because they are very rude, unprofessional, and tried to make me pay for treatment out of pocket according to my contract and then billed both of my insurances. The cooperate office does not communicate with the local office well and they are never on the same page. HORRIBLE experience.
