Walk all the way down Guad to the shop but it’s closed. I don’t know what’s the meaning of ur opening hours if you don’t follow the schedule. Disappointed.
Great crew, there is a barber for everyone here. Always have something cool playing on TV and some dope music. Oscar is the guy to go to for a nice fade.
One of the best haircuts Ive had, definitely a good place.
Cyndi is the only one I let cut my hair now because, in my opinion, as well as my girlfriends opinion, she consistently gives the best haircuts Ive ever had. Every time she listens to what I want and then delivers an awesome haircut that looks good right away, and grows out really well too. In addition to the best haircuts, I always look forward to coming in to chat and catch up with Cyndi. Always a pleasure! Thanks, Cyndi!
My longhorn son is very picky with his hair. They did a great job and he is happy with his haircut.
Matt did a great job
Best barber shop in Austin. Alex take his time with each and every cut and is an expert with a straight razor. All the barbers here take pride and their work and wont let you leave until the job is done right. Also parking is validated in the garage.
Cyndi will give you the best haircut youve ever had, and shell be the first person to tell you so! Shes been cutting hair for 30+ years and more then technique, she just gets hair. Shell also talk your ear off with her incredible stories. Go see her right now!
Cyndi always does it up right. Great lady, fantastic haircuts. Really awesome to listen to her tell stories about UT too!Everyone loves Cyndi and her barbershop! Go there!
Fantastic, friendly, personable barbers. Fair prices and theyre pretty quick too!
Best barber in town, can’t recommend enough.
Joaquin was an amazing barber who knows exactly what he’s doing. Professional and very accommodating. Highly recommended!
After reading several glowing reviews about Cyndis haircuts here, I decided to give this place a go. I dropped in for a relatively straightforward guys scissor cut.Instead of Cyndi, I got a different guy. Turns out that, while her names still on the door, the new guy said Cyndi doesnt actually work at this location anymore, but I decided to give him a shot since there wasnt a wait.Guy asks me what I want, and I give him some approximate lengths of what I was used to getting at other places and how I like to wear it day-to-day. This was a mistake. When youre asked this, youd better have some pictures ready, or youll be rolling the dice. I even asked for advice on what sort of thing looks good, but generally got non-committal answers in return. So I went with the haircut. It was hard to see how things were going since he turned me facing a blank wall even with two large mirrors to my back. I tried to make some conversation to pass the time, but his responses were curt and uninterested, so I stopped and let it go on in silence.Several minutes later, he took off the barbers cape, handed me a mirror, and said were done. My hair was still unstyled and my face was still covered in hair clippings. I asked about it and he pointed me to the bathroom down the hall. After washing my face, I asked about payment. Turns out they dont accept credit cards, but instead you can download the Square Cash app to your phone set it up if you dont have actual cash on hand. Once that was done, he charged me $30 instead of the $25 listed on the website -- saying that $25 was for cash only payments. In the end, you always take a risk with new barbers, and I guess this was the time I got burned. The haircut itself turned out a bit mediocre, but I should have been more specific and less trusting. Its a shame, too, because the reviews had really gotten my hopes up.Maybe Cyndi herself does provide excellent service, but you probably wont find it here anymore.Edit in Response to Response:Thanks for following up, Cyndi. The reason I said you werent there is because the fellow who cut my hair said youd moved to a new location around 23rd Street -- looks like I was misinformed. Also, this was the first barbershop (not salon) Id been to that had faced me away from the mirror, but I wasnt aware this was the norm. As for the price, Ive added a screenshot of the price listing to this review for reference.
Great haircuts, very fair priced for the quality service I got! Highly recommend requesting for Joaquin when you go.
Closed about 15 minutes early which is understandable. I wish I was able to get a haircut before they closed. Next time Ill be sure to come earlier.
Óscar is a great Barber. The guys are always joking around and keeping the mood fun.
Fantastic service and equally fantastic haircut. Highly recommend Cyndi, she knows what shes doing!
Gave me an excellent cut for a reasonable price, partition yourself at least an hour as they do take their time.
Have been going to Cyndi for nearly 10 years and she always does a good job.
After trying most of the barber shops around Austin, I have found Cyndis to be unquestionably the best.
Received a great haircut from Tank, the environment is very relaxed and comfortable, and they do a great job
Reasonably priced for the quality of service. Rather small, thus appointments are generally well-advised.
Great vibe and loved the cut!
Great service great cut great location
Wonderful shop, I will be back.
The worst high fade I ever got
The best barbershop in Austin.
Awesome Barbers!
Good.
