I thought this venue was amazing for the wedding I attended that weekend. The grounds were taken care of, the building was nice, and there was accessible parking. It was a wonderful event because even though you heard the occasional horn honking from traffic, it really felt like you were somewhere where the outside world couldnt reach. Very lovely

I loved this venue. We had a year end celebration for Pug Rescue Austin at this place. There is plenty of parking and a nice open area for the tables. It was large enough to seat 100. It had a fair sized kitchen too. The venue was also easy to find, located not far from downtown off first street.

Mercury Hall will always hold a special place in my heart. My husband and I got engaged over two years ago and had this place in mind for our wedding venue from the get go. It is such a quaint and unique place to hold your wedding and was set apart from all the other venues we visited by its charm. Planning a wedding through COVID was no easy task but Courtney was so supportive, responsive, and took the time to help all of her couples get their questions answered and listen to any concerns. We ended up pushing our celebration back and in December 2020 we finally had our wedding celebration! The venue was perfect for our small group (ended up being 24 people to keep guests safe through COVID)! We used the beautiful garden for pictures and cocktail hour and danced the night away inside! Our guests could not stop telling us how beautiful the venue was. I will never forget how fantastic this venue and the people that work at it are. Thank you!

We had an event for our organization. The Property Manager communicated with us and was very responsive to our requests. WE had a great time utilizing the indoor outdoor space. This is a hidden scenic gem and we loved it. I would highly recommend this venue.

Went for a Ceviche and drinks event, was a very intimate and nice outdoor place for some music and cocktails. Look forward to the next event.

We had a great outdoor October wedding at Mercury Hall, it was exactly what we wanted! Courtney was always very responsive when we had questions during the organization which was a big help. They have plenty of opportunities to visit the venue as we were making decisions and it was very easy to work with vendors who were familiar with the site. The weather cooperated so we got to do things as we wanted outside, and then use the whole chapel as a dance floor/photo booth. We highly recommend!

I just had my wedding here. My wife and I absolutely loved it. It was the perfect size for our attendance (90-100) and the venue was beautiful. The staff was easy to work with and did everything they could to make our wedding perfect. I wouldn’t change a thing and I’d enthusiastically recommend this venue to others.

The venue is beautiful with lush grounds and a lovely chapel tucked into the city - an unexpected, hidden gem. The staff, especially Courtney, are helpful to address any questions/concerns and make guests feel welcome. They made the whole process so easy and even offer rentals, including lounge furniture, at greater value than vendors with the same options. The flow of the venue worked perfectly for our event with an outdoor ceremony, courtyard cocktail hour and indoor reception. Were still hearing from guests and wedding party how much they loved the venue. We would happily host another event at Mercury Hall.

Mercury Hall is the perfect venue for a wedding. The amount of greenery that surrounds the venue is the only backdrop needed to make your day feel so romantic! Courtney and her team is what made it all so easy to have my wedding at this venue. The ease of communication and effort put into all my needs helped me enjoy every moment at Mercury Hall. I attended a conference at this venue. I loved the beautiful outdoor area as well as the charming hall. It was nice and bright inside and the stained glass windows were very charming. The bathrooms were very clean and in good working order. The parking was adequate for the few people who were in town commuting, however I do think it may not be enough for a larger group unless I didnt see the entire lot. The neighborhood location makes for a nice quiet and secluded feeling, but as it is very close to downtown it is a very convenient location for those nearby. Overall, I enjoyed my two days there.

Fabulous wedding venue for friends.

This place is so amazing. Was here for a wedding and theres plenty of space to decorate inside and outside. The building is pretty big and I would recommend if you want to hold a big event/party.

We had our wedding here on 4/19/18.I absolutely love this venue! It’s simple and elegant making it the perfect location if you like minimalism or want free reign in decorating. Having lawn, courtyard, and the Hall was PERFECT - plenty of space and variety for guests to enjoy. We have a food truck and a photo bus in the front parking lot and it all looked beautiful!

We had our wedding here this past July and it was amazing! It was the perfect size and the picturesque background we were wanting! Its like having your own oasis in the midst of downtown. Beautiful. We couldnt have asked for better service with prompt responses to questions and suggestions along the way. I knew as soon I went there, itd be the perfect place for our wedding!

Attended a wedding reception here this last weekend. It was lovely! Great size for about 100 guests with no dance floor. I liked the set up with the buffet line in the small adjacent room. The grounds made for excellent photos! The quality of the place is rustic and comfortable.

This is a beautiful location to host an event. It feels like a little country cottage, even though its smack dab in the middle of the city! Parking can be tricky, but easy access to ride sharing and valet services help.

What a stunningly sweet venue! I loved working with their staff and the location has so many simply yet clean and elegant areas to photography and enjoy. The inside is where you find your perfect canvas for any style of wedding. I love the stained glass windows and the beautiful wood floors. I would love to come back and photograph here any day!

The facility is pretty and it is a bit of a gem for the part of Austin that it is located in.However, the venue’s management are unapologetically inconsistent and inconsiderate. Inside their contract they reserve the right to change rehearsals as they wish. This ultimately says they decide the value of their customers’ time even when times are agreed upon in advance. This happened to our event, and what our rehearsal time was changed for was very disrespectful.While the Bride and Groom were awesome about the change and made no complaints, the rest of the party who are all yet to be married, left thinking the venue would not respect the value of their time or investment.It is a collective decision that we will not support the venue in the future.

Fairly remote, this well-meaning event space lacks flow and provides an awkward challenge to caters.To be fair, our first impression of MH was at a wedding with a rain scare the day of. Rain plans never show off a venue’s best side—which I get. But the party we attended suffered more than your average rain-threatened wedding thanks to the venue’s flaws. The layout of the property caused the ceremony and the reception to stumble over each other. The main room where we did the ceremony was too small (30-40 people standing), and uncomfortably warm in May (can’t imagine July/August!). After the Ceremony, they evacuated us to flip the interior space to set up buffet lines. During this limbo period, the only places to stand and chat was in the middle of the main walkway/catering path. Once the buffet tables were up, the only way to get ~250 people through the line was to have everyone leave the building and take their seat at one of 4 long, banquet style tables. We had to wait at our tables under the big tent before returning inside to go through a buffet.I’m sure the venue would have been better with different weather, but important to know this venue may break down after a few rain drops.

My husband and I fell in love with Mercury Hall from the moment we drove up for our first tour, and we can honestly say, we still feel the same way following our wedding. What a beautiful, picturesque location to have your wedding ceremony and reception! Dont let the immense amount of greenery fool you - the location could not be more ideal in terms of its proximity to the city, hotels, Airbnbs, restaurants and more! It feels like youre miles and miles away from the city, when youre right next door! We could not have asked for better communication with Courtney and her entire team at Mercury Hall, and I would highly recommend checking out the exterior and interior space - my husband and I are old home aficionados, and this beautiful old church will serve as the perfect backdrop for your big day or next event! You cannot beat Mercury Halls pricing, beauty and location.

Mercury Hall is a great venue for any event. I have been to shows and parties for sxsw, weddings and a memorial service at Mercury Hall. Since it is an old church, it has high ceilings and beautiful stained glass windows. I do believe they are original. Mercury Hall is a great venue and I look forward to attending other events there.

Close, in-town event venue. Perfect for a small wedding or party. The reception hall is an historic Methodist church moved here from east Texas, complete with stained glass windows.
