The Mansion is a fabulous wedding venue! I checked out dozens of venues, and I really dont think the value can be beat. Not being locked into specific vendors also allowed us tons of flexibility and savings. The Mansion team is professional and the day went off without a hitch. My guests loved the venue, as well!

There were so many options for places to hold all parts of our event, from pictures, to the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception, so whether you are having a small or large gathering, your party can be accommodated here. If you are looking for a place to host your event that feels both upscale and comfortable at the same time, the TFWC mansion is the place for you!

I got married here. The venue is very nice, and we had around 120 people comfortably in the ballroom. We did cocktail hour in the front rooms, which also accommodated the guests nicely.

Ever since I was 8 years old, I knew I wanted to have my wedding reception at The Mansion! I fell in love with this beautiful place the moment I stepped through the door, and I had told my (now) husband that having our reception here was a must!If youre looking for an elegant, affordable place, look no further! This place is the epitome of class! We received so many compliments on how gorgeous our venue was, and everyone loved strolling through the entire mansion throughout the night.Mari was very professional, and answered to all of my questions and requests. She made the process extremely simple, and made our stress that much less.I felt like Cinderella that entire night, and if I had to do it all over again, this place would still be IT!The Mansion was the highlight of our wedding, and I would recommend to any person getting married to have their wedding here!!!

We had our dream wedding at the Mansion! The venue was beautiful and everything went according to plan! It was easy to communicate with director and our needs were accommodated for with no issues.

We have had our awards banquet at the TFWC for the past few years and every time we love it! Great staff, location and atmosphere. We will be back!

This property is like a time capsule of old world charm surrounded by the edge of the UT campus which is bursting with new buildings. It remains there at the top of a hill quietly hosting weddings, dances and even church services. Shine on.

Was there for a wedding reception. Beautiful Texas historical building with many rooms in which to socialize. A lot of Texas historical items displayed. Elegantly furnished and has a very spacious ballroom that has an elevated performance stage. 4 stars because there is no parking on-site nor on the street around the property. Have to park at public parking facilities and walk a few blocks to the building.

Literally my favorite place in the world. Love their Thursday night swing dances. Beautifully preserved the historic character from its time, and the interior is just as stunning if not more than the exterior. Always feel at home here!

The Fed!! We go here to learn swing dancing. This is a byob, all ages welcome venue that is family friendly, although in my impression the majority of the crowd is college-aged. They at times have live bands, and have truly talented teachers. They have lessons for all levels and for multiple types of swing. A very welcoming community, and really fun!

This event space is extraordinarly beautiful! A good mix of larger spaces and more intimate spaces.

Large main dance floor and live bands once a month on Thursday in a smaller room. 8:15 intro class varies depending on which instructors are teaching.

A friend had their wedding here and it was quite beautiful! The whole look and feel from this place was very welcoming. As far as wedding venues go, this place was spacious and very well-equipped. As for guest parking, though.. Not so great. Youll have to either do street parking or garage parking like 2 blocks away. So.. its a give-and-take for guests going to something like that.

We provided a pop-up espresso bar for a wedding at the beautiful Mansion! We had a great time and loved your venue. Its a gem in the heart of Austin! The staff and management were extremely helpful and professional.

Absolute love coming here on Thursday nights. As a beginner to dancing in general this place got my girlfriend and I up to feeling great and having fun on the dance floor! Weve been four or five times so far and are getting memberships the next time we go and considering doing the dance classes on Tuesdays next.

I regularly go there on Thursday nights for swing dancing! Super fun! Has multiple rooms, usually with different moods. The main ballroom is large enough to accommodate the crowd, although it can definitely get very warm!

Every Thursday, the Fed hosts swing dance nights.Most often it starts with a beginners lesson at 7:00 and has good dance music through the night. Theres a small $6 cover, but its worth it for the massive old fashioned hall and plenty of energy there.No cover post 11:00 pm. That helps keep the energy up even as some people start to leave.

This place is gorgeous for weddings or any special event. Im a vendor and have always had good experiences dealing with the staff running the venue. My friends wedding was there and it was really beautiful.

Recently got married here and would highly recommend the venue. The courtyard in spring is beautiful. The ballroom requires almost no decoration. Mari who helps manage the venue was highly organized and helpful.

They offer salsa and swing classes here during the weekdays! Great for beginners ! You dont need a partner, just come by and get your dancing on! This venue is also great for events. A lot of weddings happen here ! The vintage interior is really beautiful!

I traveled here for the Austin Lindy Exchange. Great location, well maintained, and lots of space.

I havent actually been here, but I go here a lot because it is a nearby fortress on Harry Potter Wizards Unite AR game (like Pokemon Go). The outside of the building seems nice, located in West campus.

This venue served as a most memorable wedding site. We feasted, and danced, celebrated the love of two fine people. Perfect.

Beautiful historical building and event venue with wood dance floors and colonial interior with proper old lady furnishings, including 2 baby grand pianos. The main ballroom has a stage and lots of light. Restrooms are very dated, as expected in such an old building.

Beautiful venue for weddings and parties. The main ballroom floor is very squeaky so be careful walking around during quieter parts of ceremonies. Main entrance and adjacent rooms make for a wonderful indoor reception area.

I love swing dancing here so much. It get really hot, so wear short sleeves. Definitely the best dancing place Ive ever been to.

The mansion was the perfect setting for my wedding! I do think that they could fix up the Georgian Room and the huge kitchen/dining area...i think there is vinyl flooring in that area

Place ir older and could use some major updating and renovations but it wasba great location for the music video that was being produced there.
