Wow - just wow. I rented their boat for four hours for a duel bday party on Lake Austin for my husband and daughter. Captain Rick and the crew were amazing. We ended up in the middle of really bad storm - but boy did they make it work. Captain Rick kept his eyes on the radar, got us on the lake for the kids to jump and swim and back to the marina where we continued the party in the indoor downstairs area - air conditioned with restrooms. Their sound system was amazing, the bartender so fun, and the food hot and delicious. Its tough to please a big group of mixed 23 year old and 60 year old people - but they did it and the memories will last a lifetime. I highly recommend them!

Captain Rick and his crew are the most amazing!! We got married on their boat and it was everything we dreamed of and more!! Our friends loved it so much they’re going to book their anniversary celebration with them. They will definitely be getting our business again! Thank you guys again for everything!

First and foremost, captain and crew were friendly and helpful in making sure the boat is ready and our guests are welcomed.The boat itself was awesome and perfect for what we were looking for. There is an upper deck with plenty of room to enjoy the views and a door to get in a few dives into the water.They also have an enclosed areas with AC if you want to stay inside or if the weather acts up. Comes with an option to have a bartender and room for a buffet.They have a great set up and service.

Austin Party cruises have a wonderful setup with captain Rick and Terry handling the boat to perfection.The boat showed up at the 360 ramp right on time and Terry was really helpful in making sure that folks who needed help could board comfortably as well.The Austin Party Cruises setup is very professional and we were kept informed of all the aspects promptly.I highly recommend Austin Party Cruises for your next outing on lake Austin.

Had a wonderful experience this evening cruising with Austin Party Cruises. Rick the captain was incredibly accommodating and kind. The rest of his staff were wonderful, cheerful and helpful. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience to celebrate graduation with family and friends. I highly recommend this company and will definitely use them again in the future.

We just got back from an amazing experience. They were totally worried about our safety and even other boaters safety, everything was very professional and very accommodating since the start of the process of renting the boat to the end of the party. If I could give 10 stars I would.

Honestly I have plenty of experience of renting party barges/busses/whatever over the years, and after having just done my 30th birthday with Austin Party Cruises I will never go with another company. Aside from having the best boat available (on either Lake Austin or Lake Travis) the crew was amazingly personable (I often found myself escaping my friends on my album release party to hang out with them) and also incredibly helpful in every way. From the day I inquired about renting to the very end and the day was done, the whole process was met with care and knowledge to help me get this done easily. They even not only offered the to take pictures for the group, but also suggested when and where. I almost dont want to give such a good review in case youre reading this and book with them and take a day I could be using them, but the earned it and my business for life.

APC is one of the best barge rental services in Austin. Incredibly clean vessel and an extremely pleasant staff. I had the pleasure of meeting Enrique and Tammy while DJing for a private party and they are just awesome people. I highly recommend them. We celebrated my father‘s 90th birthday with a early dinner cruise catered by Mattie‘s. The staff and boat captain were wonderful and very accommodating to all our needs. We had a fabulous time thanks to the crew and we definitely do this again.

Captain Rick and first mate Terri were over the top with hospitality. The boat was immaculate and roomy and well taken care of. They were attentive and super helpful. Cant say enough how special they made our even. Whatba team!!!

We rented a boat for a company celebration and HAD THE BEST TIME! Jessica made it easy by putting everything together for us. Capt Rick and Terry took care of us while on the boat. We didnt have to lift a finger which made the time very enjoyable.We will definitely do it again!

Such a great company! I had my engagement party with family and friends on their barge. The boat is upscale, and comfortable. Great space for having everyone together. AC inside, or wonderful Austin breezes out on the deck. The captain of the ship was super friendly, and the crew was very helpful and professional. Definitely recommend!!

The cruise was absolutely beautiful, and the amenities were amazing, but the reason I’m leaving 1 ⭐️ is simply because of captain Greg. We were all there to celebrate a birthday, and to say the least we were super excited to come aboard and spend time with great friends who were traveling from miles away to have a great time with great people. It’s very customary to give a debriefing for safety reasons, but the way it was done showed total lack of respect for the people aboard. And to make it even worse, he was rude to the birthday girl! He went as far as telling her to be quiet while he was talking (using a megaphone to do so). He also never once said happy birthday to the person who spend a couple thousand dollars to occupy the boat for 4 hours. We were all very disappointed in how he handled the situation.

A great group of very hospitable people. Their Barge rules were more reasonable than most on Lake Travis and my group had a ton of fun because of their great attitudes and professional courtesy. Must Recommend!

Captain Rick is awesome! Great time and great boat. I’m often nervous on the water as I know that it can be very dangerous but I felt like my safety was the number one priority and I was able to relax and enjoy myself.

What a wonderful Experience!I hosted a party of 115 guests on their Celebration II boat on Memorial Day weekend and everything was perfect. From the security staff, to the boat operators, to the folks who assisted with booking, everyone we interacted with was friendly and they catered to our needs. Having 115, 25-year-olds on a boat can be extremely stressful for even the most seasoned barges, however they made our journey easy, fun, and stress-free.The boat itself was extremely clean and spacious, even for over one hundred guests. They assisted us with setting-up the bar area and helped clean-up once we were done as well.I will definitely be using them again and certainly recommend using Austin Party Cruises for your next event on Lake Austin!

Austin Party Cruises is in itself a mockery on the name. The only truth about this company is the fact that it resides in Austin. If you’re looking to either “Party” or “Cruise”, this company can unceremoniously take your money and give you neither of these things. As a group of around 100, we were waiting to board the boat but got rejected due to one person’s belief that we were not suitable for the trip. When asked to speak to the manager, the boat drove off, taking both the “Party” and the “Cruise” essence out of its name. If you’re looking for an avenue to invest your money in, I suggest you save up and buy your own party cruise because at least with that, you have a higher chance of actually getting on a boat and having fun.

Such a fun time and an easy company to work with. They were professional, on time, and fun. We had a group of about 60 and everyone raved about the experience. Definitely recommend to anyone with a large group! Will book again!

These guys are awesome! Always a fun time on these cruises. They are definitely a hard working group. Captain Rick knows his stuff and will make sure everyone has a fun and safe time.Jessica, the office girl was very helpful with my questions and helped us set up a great bday party with catering for my friends. I will come back to Austin Party Cruises every year. Its a shame to see some of these youngsters on here complaining about cancelation of their cruise. Had they read the contract they signed which Jessica sends the clients, they would have seen that showing up excessively drunk is grounds for cancellation. You just cant put 100 already drunk people on a boat and expect it to be safe. Thats just common sense.Good job Austin Party Cruises! Keep up the good work!

Worst barge I’ve ever booked. Had a group of 80+ people and the crew wouldn’t let anyone on the boat until my entire group was silent. They waited for 5 minutes while the group tried to quiet down, but they got frustrated and LEFT THE ENTIRE GROUP THAT PAID OVER $1000! Do not book here, worst people I’ve ever encountered. If I am paying for a service they should exercise a LITTLE patience. They do not know the meaning of hospitality.

If you have a group of 20 or less, then this company is for you. If you have any more than that, they probably won’t be able to accommodate you and will screw you out of your money because they can’t handle that many people. The owner will actually abuse his power and keep your money. Surprising that we weren’t the first to leave negative reviews.

We hired Austin Party Cruises to celebrate the life of our dear friend and are so happy we chose this company to help us pull it off. From scheduling with Jessica to the staff that captained the boat and worked the bar...everyone was professional, friendly and helpful. We are Austinites and love hitting lake for any occasion..and have found our go-to party or pontoon boat rental with Austin Party Cruises!

We utilized this company for my surprise 30th birthday weekend. The boat’s amenities were great! The docking location to swim was also great. The bartender was extremely friendly and welcoming. Captain Greg is the reason I chose to give a 2 star review. My guests and I did not feel welcomed initially. We weren’t hostile while boarding and were quite calm considering it was only 11:30am. Upon leaving the dock we were literally given a SPEECH by the captain in a condescending tone regarding the rules of the boat. He literally yelled through a Megaphone throughout this entire speech, rather than simply providing the information needed. Everyone was attentive during his speech. When I quietly mentioned his tone to one my guests standing next to me, he stopped his speech and advised me to stop speaking while he was talking..?? The excuse he gave as to why he was condescending was his prior trips involving Fraternity/Sorority parties. This isn’t our first rodeo in renting facilities whether it be out of town or out of the Country. We all traveled from FL, GA, DC, NY and have NEVER been treated/handled verbally as we did by Captain Greg. The success of a business is mostly based upon Customer Service... There is none with this company!If I’d known that we would have been stereotyped prior to leaving the dock, we would have utilized a different company. I would not recommend this company to anyone.SN: ALL OF MY GUESTS LEFT THE BOAT IN ONE PIECE. NONE OF THE EQUIPMENT OR RESOURCES ON BOARD WERE DAMAGED.

The boat alone was great!! Big enough for large parties..Upper deck for sunbathing or jumping in the water and lower deck great for dining and dancing....or just a break from the sun 🥵🌞. The bartender was amazing and had a great time with our group. Now my group was apart of a Birthday Celebration and it still being rather early we all came on the boat excited but respectful. We had alot to load to so everyone was being careful as instructed upon entry. Before pulling off we gathered upstairs for instruction. This is why 2 stars were given...Capatain Greg spoke to my group like rude rambunctious children. Greg spoke through the megaphone to give instructions which was okay but his tone felt very stereotypical and condescending. As he was given instructions two people spoke amongst themselves very quietly, he felt the need to reprimand them by asking them, stop talking while Im talking. We are all adults and never came across as rowdy and loud. He was also spotted turning down one of our speakers, also reprimand another person for leaning on a table. Its understandable if its not safe to lean on tables but its all in how you speak to people. We all felt very stereotyped and uncomfortable. I understand some groups may need certain speeches but we werent that group. We all felt very stereotyped and uncomfortable. He came off very standoffish. Im not saying all captains will be this way but I would ask before renting...+1 star- The Boat+1 star- The boat/ The Bartender- 1star -the captain-1star-the captain-1star- the women seen using her hands to grab food instead of using the tongs provided.

They showed up and when they saw our group the said we we’re too drunk. They were just lazy. They made me yell at my friends to get out of the way because they were in the way of the boat. And when they got out of the way they took off. These people will take your money, leave and not care about it. They won’t tell you why.

This is the worst company. Do not use them. Everyone in this company is out to get you. Never trust them with your money, they robbed us and I’m sure they’ve robbed others. They are untrustworthy and horrible people never use them!!!!!!!

Our group booked this and paid over a grand in the deposit and once we got there they said we were too large (despite the fact our group was within how many people they said they could take on their website) and refused to let us on the boat. They also refused to give us our money back, EVEN THOUGH WE LITERALLY DID NOT STEP FOOT ON THEIR BOAT. 0/5 stars.

I suppose this company would be a good option for a party if the party was a funeral. We were late to our reservation because they gave us the WRONG address initially and wouldn’t pick up the phone for over half an hour when we called to try and figure the situation out. When we got there the captain took one look at our ENTIRE group of almost 80 people and decided we were too intoxicated for his boat ride on a whim. Too intoxicated for the company called Austin Party Cruises. Aside from the fact that this might be one of the most ineffective business models I’ve ever seen, I’m appalled by the fact that our security deposit and our reservation were essentially thrown out the window just because of one persons casual perceptions. Asked for the supervisor, but the best part is the captain is the supervisor so there’s no system of accountability whatsoever. Sent us away with not even the offer of any sort of refund or compensation. Worst party company ever.

Complete lack of respect for customers.My group booked a two hour cruise with APC as part of an end-of-the-year event for our UT student organization. We had planned this event for weeks, as it was supposed to be the last event of the school year, allowing us to wish our seniors farewell. We were all looking forward to it.Instead, what did we get?First of all, a wrong address. The barges staff gave us the wrong marina address and didnt answer their phones until 45 minutes later, making us an hour late for our cruise.Second of all, a complete lack of respect for us and for our deposit. After seeing our group of 80+ people, they flat-out refused to let us on the boat, even after having us line up twice to board. They refused to let us on, even though we had put down a deposit of around $1000.Finally, an incredibly unethical business practice. After expressing our frustration online through bad reviews, APC threatened to not reimburse us until we took those reviews down. We paid them $1000 for a service we never received.In short, do not make the mistake of booking a cruise with APC.

The crew and security were very professional. The problem was when the owner of the company was very rude and unprofessional, she yelled at us about everything. Honestly she made a very enjoyable experience horrible, and i recommend everyone to find a different company.
