Went and got a sunroof spoiler, I did a 2 and a half hour drive, so happy that I did, they were so profesional, they took the time to show me all the interior headliners to go along with the sunroof spoiler, did a 110% good job, Very happy with the work, they checked for leaks, did a very good job, 5 star rating for sure.

Quoted me $550 to swap out the hydraulic hose lines and add fluid! Wow!!! I have the lines which cost about $75 and there are only 3 attachment points where they simply screw on to the hydraulic cylinders and motor. This takes about as much time as an oil change. Not to mention they tried to tell me that my cylinders might be bad before they even saw the car. When I told them I had identified where the leak was coming from, (not from the cylinders) they came back with $550. You can buy all the parts for less than $500, including the motor and both cylinders. Back seat just pops off and remove a couple of bolts. Hardest part is adding the fluid. SMH

I just want to say, I am extremely pleased with the job that was done on my Porsche Cayenne. The roof looks like new again. The staff was friendly and the work is amazing. Money well spent and a warranty was included.

I called for a quote to replace my convertible top and spoke to Becca. When she emailed the quote to me,she apologized about the delay, which was no problem on .9/17. I called back on 9/23 and spoke to Becca again and said I wanted to go ahead and get it done. It was over $2000.00 . She said she would call me back. I never received a call back that day? So I emailed her the next day to find out what happened and if they can get it done and when? Still no response that day? I followed up with one more email the following day on 25th and to this day I have not received a call or email. Ive worked and ran several businesses and Ive never let $2000.00+ walk or not returned a response to a customers concern! Very disappointed!

Jeep dealership told me it would be $1300 to fix a broken sunroof. Auto tops was able to do it for under $300. Manager cared about fixing it, not how much money he could get out of it. The kind of car guys you want.

I bought leather seat covers to recover the seats in my 2000 Chevrolet Silverado Z71 pickup truck. I had Texas Auto Tops install them for me and they did excellent work. You cant tell that they are not the original seat covers and are installed correctly and look very, very nice. The cost was inexpensive as well. Less than one day turn around so that was a benefit too. I would recommend them to anyone that needs this type of work done.

These guys are the best!Stopped by 2 days ago, driving my old Mini Cooper with the headliner board hanging down. (I had removed it myself).They helped me pull it out, re-covered it within a couple of hours, and did a fantastic job. Professional job, and, instead of just stamping them out like the manufacturer, they actually overlap the padded fabric an inch so that it wont pull out along the edges anymore.When I picked it up, one of the guys helped me slide it back in, so I could finish securing it at home. He even took the time to take a soda bottle and give me some of the cleaning solution they use and a wad of their cleaning cloths. Wow. Nice touch.And the young woman in the office was delightful. Super nice.Never going anywhere else.

I am so glad I found Texas Auto Tops. I had a 2000 Volvo convertible whose top had partially disintegrated in the Texas heat. Becca, the front office person, was very helpful, sweet, and accommodating. They worked around my schedule and had my car ready for me as promised. Becca worked hard to find an affordable top and keep the costs down. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to anyone who needs auto top repair/replacement.

This place is great. Everyone was so helpful. When I called about my cars leaking roof, I let them know what I thought the issue was. Becca looked up the part ahead of my visit. When I went in they determined it would be a simple fix. They had it done in 15 minutes and didnt even charge me for the trouble. Becca said shed save the notes just in case they do need to replace the part. I couldnt recommend these guys more highly!

I have a Lexus RX300, and have been to this place twice. The first time, I had a faulty sunroof, that they fixed it for me very fast at an excellent price. The second time, I had an issue with my passenger side window switch and they did a great job of diagnosing the issue and fixing every part that needed to be fixed. They are very nice and responsible people, their work is clean, and they are excellent at their line of work.

They have some problems with obtaining quality parts for antique atuomobiles. Im giving one star because they did something that is a big indicator of either incompetence or maybe they are insolvent but they asked me to pre-pay for a part that was at that point completely imaginary. I was kind of in a bind and not much free time and desperate for a new sunroof so I obliged. Im not sure why because their customer service is questionable. First time I called them I was on hold two times in a row for over 3 minutes by the secretary before I got a hold of the shop owner Garril. So I waited a week and they call me and they informed me that they could not find an acceptable part and they refunded my 300 dollar deposit. It was incredibly redundant. I ordered a used sunroof online as I knew of one online merchant who specializes in my particular car. So, instead of a 650 payday they made zero and I installed the sunroof assembly for little over half of what they were going to charge. But yeah just life advice here never pre-pay a mechanic ever its not professional and its very dangerous because if they cant afford to order parts they damn sure cannot afford to warranty them.

I took in my 96 Corvette to have some cables installed into my convertible top and i am very pleased with there service and work. Becca took her time going over with me on how to take extra care for my car top and what was best for my vehicle. She knew a lot and was very informative. Very busy place, however Becca is awesome! i have a 2001 Volvo and she made sure that I got exactly what I came in for. As busy as they are she makes you feel like you are their only client, but most important my sunroof is finally fixed after years of disappointing attempts by the dealership.

This has to be the best shop, I have ever dealt with, period. I was looking to get some repairs done on my vehicle and I had an appointment set up. Becca even went ahead and ordered the parts. Due to changing circumstances ( mostly because of my own stupidity), I had to cancel my appointment. I was feeling a little guilty and also a little unsure of how the store would react, especially since the parts were already ordered. After the call, I wound up feeling a lot more guilty because they were so nice about it, almost to the point where I felt like just getting the repairs done anyway !They know their stuff very well, Becca pinpointed the issues I was having right on the phone and their prices are so reasonable. I would recommend them with absolutely no hesitation whatsoever.If there was a rating higher than Five Stars I would give it, I am that happy !

My Volvo convertible C70 needed a complete new liner. After every other shop I called did decline to do the job, I was so relieved to finally find the only shop able&willing to do the work: Auto Tops of Austin. No problem, no drama, and they did a professional work at a very reasonable price Ithought. I particularly would praise their front desk employee, Rebecca,for her very friendly and helpful charming cooperation.

Not the best looking shop in the world, but they were able to easily re-glue some trip on my 03 Infinity. A much better job then if I attempted this myself.

Thanks to a great team of skilled convertible top experts, I have a sleek new OEM top on my old BMW. These folks deliver quality installation with complete follow-up service. Thank You all for your hard work!.......Several months later I took my BMW back for a convertible top adjustment. I really hate to report what happened at that time. I noticed a leak at the rear window and was told that there was no way it could be adjusted properly because the straps were not adjusted correctly. Also, after taking my car home (30 miles), I discovered that the rear lights and other components were not securely returned to their proper places. I do NOT recommend this auto-top service after discovering the poor alignment of my convertible top!

A road hazard took out the front sunroof on my 2015 Pathfinder. I had a previously positive experience at Caliber, so I stopped in and got an estimate for $1434.15, including 8.4 hours. USAA told me to try Texas Auto Tops of Austin.My partner called them and gave them my credit card to cover my $500 deductable. They had the part in two days from Nissan-no aftermarket glass available yet. Nissan gets $847.44 for the sunroof.I didnt have to make an appointment or leave my car for the day. They did it in a little over an hour while I waited, so Calibers 8.4 hour estimate was grossly over estimated (and over priced).Becca runs the front desk there in an extremely friendly, professional and competent manner. If I wasnt already retired, I would have tried to hire her. In the todays highly competive employment market she is a jewel. If she was working for me I would make sure she was paid well and otherwise treated well. Gals like her dont grow on trees and you need to protect your claim when you have one working for you.The manager there also seemed very competent and Becca spoke highly of him, even when he wasnt arround.Im thinking about buying a new car and noticed they do leather interior upgrades and can even do heated and air conditioned seats for a lot less than the upgrade trim packages on a new car.The work they did on my sunroof was A+. When I mentioned that some of the broken glass had gotten all the way to the back hatch and was causing the hatch to bind slightly, Becca went out to the shop and got the tech to carefully clean that area for me.Good folks doing good work at a fair price. I highly recommend them.

Who would drop off an item to be repaired without describing the work needed to be done? Not me. I was referred by another business. I called the business and informed them to be careful who they refer to. Could make them look very bad.

If you can fit your car in the parking lot you can do anything! Theyre usually busy but theyre the best price in town and do good work.

If you use Texas Auto Tops, be sure and get a firm quote. Their work is OK, nothing special, but they charged me 5X what it should cost. When I complained, they reduced it to 3X. I would not recommend them for anything but routine work with a fixed cost.
