I brought my vehicle to Maxwell Ford Collision for repair after being rear ended. Basic safety checks were not performed before releasing my vehicle as repaired. Just a few hours after leaving the shop I became aware that the vehicle’s break lights and rear turn indicator lights were not functioning at all. After speaking to the collision center director, it is clear that both the technician who serviced my vehicle and the estimator assigned to my claim should have performed basic checks to confirm repairs made and vehicle readiness. Both opportunities for checks were completely disregarded resulting in an unsafe situation not only for myself, but those drivers around me. I brought these issues to their attention and they were repaired the following business day. While I did not expect perfection from Maxwell Ford, I did expect a basic level of care and due diligence, neither of which were met.
I understand their are back orders and delays on parts, as there are shortages and back orders with everything due to Covid, but the lack of communication, follow-up and updates were horrible from this group. I called four or five times throughout the three weeks my car was here trying to get an update on when my repairs would be complete to be told every time by the receptionist that the associate working on my case was not at his desk and would call me back. I never got calls back. Eventually State Farm began to reach out for updates on my behalf and had a similar experience with lack of communication and updates. Once the repairs were complete, the associate working on my case told State Farm that he had called multiple times, texted and attempted to leave voicemails, but that my voicemail “wasn’t working,” which is not true because my phone is a work phone and customers leave voicemails regularly. This was the recommended repair location by State Farm, but I wouldn’t recommended it unless you can just leave your vehicle there until they eventually decide to call you about repairs being complete.
In total, a 2 day job took over 1 month with my vehicle with 3 total trips in and out of the shop. No follow up, little to no communication and work completed was not satisfactory.
My car was even prettier than I thought it would be. They explained everything that would be fixed and then added more at no extra cost. My car looked almost new
We had excellent customer service, great communication and they went above and beyond to make us happy. We will definitely use again should we need services. A++++

I give Ford Maxwell a 5star. My car was scrapped on the side. Maxwell repaired my vehicle to were it appeared nothing happened. My car was supposed to take 3 days to complete but was finished in 2 days. I really loved Ray (technician) he spoke regarding his grandmother often and that touched me due to losing my grandfather recently. Keep up the good work. Will definitely come here in future if needed.
Poor communication, blamed me for their poor workmanship, my tire was damaged after picking up my car. Tried to remedy with management and they forgot about me.
I had hail damage and then my car was hit on the bumper. Paul helped me with both of my claims and made it super easy. They also finished early!
Ray helped me through the whole process and he was great. Kept me updated constantly and my car was left looking brand new.
This location will hold your car hostage and make it difficult for your insurance company to retrieve it. Beware and be carful great looking place but beware. The insurance sends vendors to retrieve the vehicles after a total loss and these folks do not work with the vender that works for your insurance company. Just food for thought. There are plenty of great shops in the area that do not work against your insurance
A nightmare took vehicle to get repaired due to hail damage which they repaired but damaged ds mirror cover which they repaired using fill in plastic but dId not tell me until I saw it and asked to put a new cover, ripped off liners on top of fenders put screws with different colors on hood left glue marks on vehicle left dirt marks on rear door panel ds roof trim cane off had to be re glued . It took them 2 months to fix vehicle damage they caused
Scheduled for an appointment for 5:30pm. I was told they will check my car for around 45mins, Order the parts and can go home with my car and come back when the parts are ready so my car dont need to stay there and pay more rental days. Great deal! So i go there, left work early just to make it on time (thats an hour of work i had to lose since i work in lakeway, traffic was bad blah blah!) I get there just for them to tell me they cant look at my car because they are busy for today. These people are so inconsiderate. They couldve just told me to reschedule if they cant check my car. But they chose to send me a reminder for my appointment to come in! I had to lose and hour of pay and drive 40mins in traffic just to be turned down. Wow just wow! Unbelievable!
Unprofessional paint job and scratched my dashboard.Let me start by saying that you should think twice before taking your vehicle here.I decided to take my 2016 f-150 for a roof repair as well as the windshield. It took more than three weeks to complete the job, which I don’t complain because I was driving a nice expedition rented by my insurance.Today I went to pick up my truck, first thing I noticed there were black spots under the paint (see pictures), it shows clearly that the clear coat was sprayed on a unclean surface. 2nd, the glue to joint roof to the sides was done so terrible that you can see huge bumps all over the place. 3rd, I opened the truck and it had several huge pieces of glass from the old windshield. 4th, the top of my dashboard (above stereo screen) has several scratches.I am so disappointed. I just wanted a professional job done on my truck. I expected something of a higher level from a body shop that belongs to a dealer and is certified by ford to work with aluminum trucks.Lucas (the body shop rep) excuses himself by saying that the “roof is not a big deal, nobody will notice it”, in addition he says that “they don’t detail the inside of the vehicles when repaired.” I wasn’t complaining about dirt, pieces of glasses all over the place including dash board is a safety issue. I don’t know how they claim to be professional.Long story short, I drove away with my truck, I don’t trust them to repaint the roof and correct the other issues. I even took my rental car back to enterprise myself in case something happens while it was in the body shop.Think twice before you leave your car with this unprofessional and careless body shop, to say the least.
I was hit by a semi truck and took my F-150 in to have some body work done and these guys did an excellent job! From getting it in the shop and getting my truck back these guys were so punctual. They even washed the truck before I get it back. It looks like it just came off the lot. If I ever need anything done again I’m definitely coming back to Maxwell! They gave me good service a couple of times but the last one had some issues they could not fix, the car makes noises because they repaired the hatch door but when the car runs it makes annoying noises, they tried to fix it a couple of times (i lost time to take it to them, I lost around 3-4 hours of my time because of that) and the noise was still there. I added some grease to the noisy part and the noise is gone now.I appreciate the great service they provide, I just do not like to lose my time because of a small issue they could not fix

Where do I start with my experience with Maxwell Ford Collision. For starters, I unfortunately hit a deer and chose to bring my car to Point Collision, who has now been taken over by Maxwell Ford. Point Collision did such a great job when I went a few years ago, I decided to allow the car to stay with this repair shop thinking that I would get the same service as I did before. To make a long story short, the first day I dropped the car off, there was more damage than expected so the car had to sit a couple days(not the collision shops fault). About three days later I called to see if repairs had started, and they hadn’t. The girl who was working on my car ended up quitting which was pretty strange, but I decided to continue services with them. After 13 days in the shop I went to pick my car up and I wasn’t satisfied with the results. Joe (The Manager) ultimately stepped in and assured me that he would fix the problem. Which he delivered on his promise. I picked my car up yesterday and I’m completely satisfied with the results. Although I had to go through a few hiccups, I can say that I’m a satisfied customer. The customer service was great. Even when I was unhappy with things, Joe and William made sure to help the situation. Thank you both for making sure that I was satisfied at the end of the day. We all make mistakes and I would gladly recommend anyone to take their car to Maxwell Ford Collision. They will deliver on what they promise! 🙂

Excellent replacement of a damaged front fender. Paint matching is so accurate it looks exactly like the surrounding surfaces. This car looks brand new again!

We hit a deer while traveling through texas. Maxwell Ford let us schedule the repair for the two weeks that we were in Austin. They completed the repair in 8 days, and as far as I can tell, it is perfect. Paul was on top of everything and made the experience very simple. The cost seemed to be very reasonable. I am really glad that I chose this Ford shop.Update. Service good. Warranty, not so much. Got back to Minnesota and found that one of the running lights they replaced in the bumper had fallen out. When we picked up the vehicle I had noticed that the wires were dangling. The service rep just plugged them in. I suspect that they must have left other stuff loose. I contacted them (3 times) about honoring their warranty. They seem completely disinterested in doing that. Won’t be going back. (We are winter Texans)

Fixed a dent in my hood and fixed the chipped paint it created. They even put air in my tires and cleaned the inside and outside of my car. Everyone there is super nice and they did a fantastic job.
I took my Nissan Kicks to be fixed after I was rear-ended. Jasmine was wonderful to work with and answered all of my questions without hesitation. I was informed everyday on the progress of repairs and they even brought my car to me because I didnt have other transportation. I just got my car back today and it looks amazing! Honestly it had nothing to do with the quality of their work, it had to do with their professionalism. They are so eager to make money off of you no one there knows how to read a room or have a smidge of emotional intelligence. First experience was going to clear out my car since it was totaled. All I wanted were the keys to my car and the guy at the front kept asking about me buying a new car. I’m clearly not in the mood and my friend even told him “thanks, not today” but he wouldn’t stop. The second time I went was to collect a check and drop off the title. I’ve had my car for so long and it was emotional for me going up and the lady seriously was asking me about buying a new car while I was already tearing up. I know we all are trying to make a living but learn how to read a room and stop trying to make a buck off of me when I clearly don’t want your services.

Quinn MacGlashan is a top-notch manager and man of his word. He went above and beyond to honor an old paint warranty from a paint job I had done in 2004. His entire team from Lucas Harrison (estimator) to Susan who runs the front desk, to the young man who gave me a ride home after leaving my truck off for paint work to the body shop crew all did an amazing job. The paint work is perfect. Two thumbs way up. Highly recommend!

Ok so first off, I want to be clear that I had a great repair here. Paul was extremely helpful and able to get my car done by the time I needed it. The lady at the front desk was also very kind and helpful. The reason for my low review score has to do with my experience while picking up the vehicle. When I picked it up, there was a sign saying a $3000 limit on credit card. I wasnt aware of this when I picked it up so cash and check were out of the question. I had two cards but asked about double checking if I couldnt put it on just the one since the other belongs to my parents. So the lady up front went up the hall a couple doors to double check with whoever the manager was. I could hear him down the hall as he basically started to yell at her about having to be strict with the $3000 card limit; that the collision center only made about $3000 last year because of all the credit card fees and said something negative about customers just wanting to get their rewards points for putting charges on it. I almost went in there and told him there was absolutely no reason to be yelling at her like that about your bottom line (with a customer right there down the hall) when she asked a simple yes or no question for a customer. NEWS FLASH: NONE of your customers CARE how much YOU make/lose and NONE of your customers want to be at a COLLISION center to spend money to begin with. Treating an employee like that is unacceptable and she came back flustered like it was her fault for asking. Other than that part of the experience, the repair work was what I expected from a dealer.
Jackie in service is absolutely amazing. She kept us up to date everyday and was very thorough. We had taken our car to a chop shop where lots of corners were cut but Jackie was able to remedy all of those issues and get our vehicle in tip top shape. Awesome customer service. People in this industry with this loyalty and honesty are very hard to find.

I didnt get my car appraised here but wish I had. After dropping off my car here to get repaired I already knew the recommendations were true. Super friendly and attentive staff that keeps you updated through out the process. They made sure a rent a car was ready for me before I even finished paperwork. It turned out my car was totaled and I had to clean my belongings out. Maxwell Ford Collusion technically wasnt going to get any business with my car being totaled. Even while I was cleaning out my vehicle they STILL were friendly and helpful. This experience has guaranteed a return customer as well as any recommendation for any future events.
Paul was able to look at my car right away without an appointment which I appreciated but then proceeded to quote me without being able to adequately explain the quote. I had to explain the new car part to him even though it was a stock Ford part. I had to pull an explanation out of him. I’ll probably end up paying around them same elsewhere but it won’t be with him due to his poor customer service and lack of knowledge.
I am extremely satisfied with the repair work Maxwell Ford Collision Center has recently done on my F150. My DISSATISFACTION is the fact that all of my change had been removed and not returned. I have 3 different areas where I keep my change. I estimated about $20-$25 dollars worth of change was removed from my truck. I guess I was “unofficially” charged the cleaning of the interior and exterior of my truck... If I’m ever needing auto body repairs again, I will have to take my business to another shop. Trust is very important to me, and for that reason only, I give 1 star.
My experience was excellent. Took my vehicle in on a Thursday. Amanda from Geico and Jose got together and got my car written up fast. I was originally told it would be ready on January 4th. Jose text me on December 30th it was ready. Jose totally took care of me. The Escape looks excellent . Would recommend Maxwell ford to everyone.
Paul and all the folks at the collision center were wonderful. They had my car ready VERY quickly and professionally and were always pleasant, even when I was in so much distress about the accident. Rudy was a superb transport driver, even when I was so distraught, he helped me to calm down . All around, I couldnt think of a better experience at such an emotionally painful point. Lucas and his team were phenomenal! The process was very quick and professional from drop off to pick up. He explained upon arrival to the body shop the estimate and what would be needed to be fixed. I was updated along the way of automated text messages when the car was heading into the shop to be fixed. When the car was done a few days later Lucas personally called to say my car was ready for pick up.When I arrived at Maxwell Collision Center to pick up my Ford Escape he walked out side to go over the car inspection with me and make sure it was up to my standards. I highly recommend Maxwell Collision Center for the future. I had a small rear end collision and needed the back up sensors replaced as well as a few other metal sheets near the bumper and the lift gate dent pounded out. It was all repainted and waxed to look professional clean.
If I could give negative stars I would. I was in a minor collision while parking downtown just before Thanksgiving and my car was towed to them after the holiday. I still don’t have my car back. It’s clear that the mechanic had no understanding of the issues with my car as he kept saying “it drives weird,” and ignored me when I said that a number of dashboard lights were activated after the crash (including the ESP/ASP light). I have incurred a substantial expense in rental cars while waiting for the repairs and I received no word from them when my car wasn’t available as promised on December 31st.
The estimate, drop off, and pick up was very easy and quick. I did not need a rental car. The repair took about three weeks to complete, but they would send me notifications on the status of thr vehicle. I was pleased with the repair work done.
Never got my issue resolved. Jose Renteria blew me off several times on an issue that he promised he would take care of. Text and called him several times about my vehicle never got a response ended up having to pick up my vehicle and take it to another body shop. Very unprofessional!
Every person I spoke with whether by phone or in person was knowledgeable and made me feel my truck was their priority. The work was finished earlier than expected, and when my phone didnt ring, the young woman working in the office sent an email letting me know I could pick up the truck. I hope I never again need a collision repair, but if I do Maxwell will be my first choice.
Totally impressed. Dropped my truck of in the afternoon. Was ready the next morning. To be fair it was just a wing mirror replacement. But still turned it around super fast. Second time Ive used the body shop here and they definitely do great work.
Lucas was great, the truck looks awesome. Lucas gave me an estimate of when the truck would be ready and before the day got here let me know it would be delayed. Worked out great and picking it up was even easier.

We dropped off our vehicle to Maxwell collision center on 9/11/17 and estimate provided to my insurance company. Lucas gave me an unofficial rough estimate on the evening I dropped off the car. Lucas stated it would take approximately four days to complete the work once he ordered all and parts. Lucas called me morning of 9/21/21 advise my car was ready. Upon arrival, repairs look great. Everything that I pointed out was corrected. These guys did an awesome job.
Great service. I had updates as to when my car was being worked on, when it was ready, and then follow up to make sure I had picked it up. It was done a day early so that is a plus! Nice and intelligent workers that explained what they did to my vehicle and answered all of my questions.

I took my Fusion to Maxwell Ford Collision after i was rear-ended. I thought it would be a hassle because of the insurance company, rental car etc. but surprisingly it wasn’t! Maxwell took care of everything when it came to talking with the insurance company and let me know step by step what they were doing. They replaced my trunk, washed and detailed my car and i could not be happier with the work done! When i picked it up, it looked BRAND NEW.! thank you Maxwell Ford!

My car was in a hit and run collision I took my vehicle here and turn around was just over a week. Also this was during thanksgiving so I’m sure that affected it. I was constantly getting alerts about vehicle status. Although I never received the most important one which is notifying me that my vehicle is ready. I actually called and had to check to see when it would be ready and they just told me that it was ready. The repairs looked great. Although I believe they rotated possibly balanced my tires they DID NOT reset my tire sensors. I’m currently at discount tire to get that done also. Possibly a coincidence but now one of my tires is losing air pressure since the repair. Again I’m getting that repaired at discount tire and having them reset my sensors. Just an inconvenience to me as you would assume the collision center would double, triple check the vehicle before it’s “ready for pick up” I’m wondering if that’s why I never got the notification. Maybe it wasn’t 100% ready. For that I’m giving it the 3 stars
