Needed a state inspection for a vehicle, but got a VERY hard sell to replace my windshield (they do this with everyone). The windshield salesman jumps on me without warning and starts making a big deal about a few pits about 1/4 the size of a grain of sand. I strongly tell him I am there for an inspection, nothing more. He continues and I tell him the same thing two more times, stronger than before, then turn away from him. I walk 20 feet over to my vehicle- he had taken a black permanent marker and circled some pits. My face gave away outrage and he quickly wiped them off. I thought that was the end of it, but his sales boss came over 2 minutes later and tried an even harder sell. I am on the edge of hostility and tell him I am not interested. He keeps on and I strongly tell him to never talk to me about this again. I stare at him and he says ok, I can help with the windshield in the future... I walk away over to the owner (or manager), who says hell be done with the inspection in a few minutes. (I didnt say anything about it...didnt need to...whether he saw what happened or not, he condones it.) I dont blame the salesmen for trying (just the aggressiveness), but I do blame the owner for trying to strongarm customers into buying windshields instead of doing the services that people go to an oil change shop for.*This one wont go back.*

I will gladly wait for this group of folks! When I need to get the auto inspection, oil change, or fluids checked…I go here to Coleman’s Express by the Shell station at Oakhill’s “Y” intersection. This group has only recommended things that actually needed changing and nothing new is ever wrong with a vehicle I brought to them. I highly recommend this business, especially if you are searching for an honest group of guys.

I was next door getting gas when I saw the sign Windshield Repair. Ive been needed it because of 2 rock hits and I was worried the cracks might spread. I thought I might have to wait a while, but no, they got right on it. While I was waiting I couldnt help but notice the huge Oak trees and these odd 2 inch holes in the concrete. Hundreds of holes. Of course I had to ask..;)Turns out, thats why the Oak trees are doing so well. The holes are for rain water to get down to the roots. Brilliant! Anyway, the place is wonderful and the people were really friendly. Ill go back again.

My wife just went in for an oil change at Coleman Express Lube. $110 for synthetic. Got exact same service at Lambs last time for less than $60. They asked my wife why we use Lambs because they rip you off. Pot kettle? I went back and confronted them and they just stared at me and said well. we are 2 different companies. Really? Thats all you got? They were busted and knew it. No apology or offer of a credit either. Never again!!

Updating review after a recent discovery: After expressly stating I shouldnt take my 2016 Outback to a Valvoline location due to the risk of improperly sized oil filters being used, I wasnt expecting to see oil leaking in my driveway after the oil change.I took my Outback up to Austin Subaru where their service technicians discovered that the oil drain plug had been stripped when it was misthreaded when re-inserted at an angle by the technician at Coleman Express Lube.Once a new drain plug was installed (after the second oil change in a month), the leak had been fixed.Lesson learned; Coleman Express Lube should be avoided if you dont want your vehicle destroyed by having zero oil inside your engine.

If I could give zero stars I would. My husband took our brand new car to be inspected this afternoon. The mechanic didnt put our car in park and it rolled out of the shop damaging the driver door to the point that it wont close. I would call this an accident, but being that it was at an auto shop I see it as negligence. Not once did anyone come up to me when I got there and apologize or let me know what happened. They cussed and carried on as if I had no reason to be upset. We just got the car Saturday to take on a trip. We were suppose to be leaving for tonight with our newborn son for Easter. I had every reason to be upset and am very disappointed with the lack of respect. Theres never a reason to not be a human being and apologize and admit your wrong doing. Not sure if the guy handling our car was on drugs or even cared about his job, but I sure didnt seem like it. You would think he would know how to put a car in park. It could have rolled out the front of the shop into the busy highway and seriously injured or hurt someone.

Yes, he clearly wanted to get more money out of the inspection. Went to another nearby and they did the inspection extremely quick without joking around. Dont go here.

I stopped by at 3:45 March 20th and the person attending (maroon tee) was rude and uncommunicative. He even said “I won’t answer” to an enquiry I had and kept repeating for me to hand him the keys. He clearly had an attitude issue and the other person servicing a different car didn’t seem to intervene either. Needless to say I will be taking my business elsewhere.

I go to get my registration here and the guys are always nice.

Quick and straightforward oil change/inspection.

Hostile at best, dangerous at worst.I pulled into the parking lot adjacent to the east side of the building and parked in a spot with a Lube Pitstop sign. My intent was to walk inside and inquire about a state inspection. I partially opened my drivers side door to exit my vehicle before looking to my right to grab my wallet and phone on the passenger seat. As I turned my head back to the left to get out of my car, a slender man with tattoos wearing a black t-shirt and jeans is pressed against my drivers side door preventing me from opening it further. He had walked up from the rear of my car, which was the side not facing the service center. The man sticks his head over my window and says Can I help you? To which I reply while pointing at the lube center, Do you work here? The man then again says Can I help you? without acknowledging my question either verbally or with a gesture.At this point I do not know who this man is, as he is not wearing a uniform and has not answered my simple question of whether he works for the lube center. Furthermore I cant see one of the mans hands and do not know what he is holding. Also this man is positioned against my door, preventing it from opening further and I am stuck in my car, which is not a safe position.Due to the alarm bells now going off in my brain, I give the man a verbal command to step away from the car by saying exactly that, step away from the car, which he also disregards. I then push open my drivers side door and get out of my car without saying a word. I again ask the man do you work here? This time inquiring whether he is a threat as I am no longer even thinking about the inspection. The man then yells at me to leave the parking lot while saying he would not have asked what I needed if he didnt work there. He follows up by saying Im not going to help you if you have an attitude problem. I reply have a nice day, get back in my car and leave to avoid escalation.What this man did not know is I was an off duty police Officer, and when I pushed open my door and asked him a second time if he worked here I was no longer inquiring about service, but instead inquiring whether he was a threat and was prepared to take the appropriate action.He was not wearing a uniform, did not identify himself as an employee, did not have a pleasant expression on his face, was not clean and groomed and had numerous exposed tattoos, all factors which influenced my thought process. The man, whom I never identified by name, did not give any indication what so ever that he was an employee of the lube center despite me asking if he worked there. This situation could have quickly spiraled out of control resulting in someone getting hurt, because despite years of training and experience as a law enforcement Officer, this subjects demeanor and the situation in its entirety presented as dangerous.I have never left a review on social media, but I have never experienced anything like this before. Had he been wearing a uniform shirt or simply said Yes, I do work here, this would have been a totally different encounter. It might very well have been different had I not been a 250lb man but instead someone who needs to rely on other tools to defend themselves...Can I comment on the service they provide? No, sadly I never got that far. I can however say that at least one of the employees is either not to bright or is taking the dark and mysterious vibe WAY too far.

Wouldnt inspect my vehicle because it had one visual fail, when I asked if they would go through the full inspection so I could get all the possible failures addressed I was told thats your job, not ours. Terrible service. Stay away.
