I used The Coolest LLC at my business recently and I have nothing but great things to say. From the first phone call to the service I received, the whole experience was magnificent.I talked with Mark on the phone and told him about our issue, and he assured me he could have a serviceman at the location within 24 hours and there would be no emergency fee (the other company I called said it would take 3 days or I would have to spend an additional $150 rush fee!).Travis came out to my store, and within 20 minutes was able to identify the issue stopping my AC from working. After about an hour in total, he had cold air blowing through my store once again- so wonderful after enduring an afternoon shift during a 90 degree day..At the end of it all, Travis recommended that I join the cool club to get yearly cleanings since I have a really old machine. They already did the job significantly cheaper than what I was quoted from the other guys, but joining the club saved me an additional 10% on my service that day, and for the next year.All I can really say at this point is thank you Mark and thank you Travis for your wonderful customer service- you guys were amazing and Im happy I chose to support a local business as awesome as the Coolest!!!

I can’t say enough about how great Mark and his team was! We reached out when our AC unit started struggling really hard. It was mid-summer so I was prepared for a few days wait before getting service but somebody was out first thing next day. They were very straightforward with their assessment of our system. Being an older unit, repairs would have been frequent and possibly never fully work so we opted for a new system. Their pricing was very reasonable and Mark did a phenomenal job explaining the pros and cons of each option. When it came time to install they came out the very next day and the team was super friendly and professional. They actually even found another part that needed to be replaced for the new system to run properly and took care of that at no additional cost. Working with The Coolest was a great experience all around. My AC stopped cooling over the weekend (in the middle of August, woof), so I called The Coolest on Monday morning at the recommendation of a co-worker, and they came out the same day. They found the problem right away and talked me through the available options and associated costs. Everything made sense and costs were very reasonable. They even double checked to see if my unit was still under warranty (of course it was a year past). I called The Coolest last Friday (one week ago) with an issue of my AC unit tripping my breaker. They came out same day, very prompt and professional and incredibly knowledgeable. The ultimate result is that my unit needed to be replaced (due to a refrigerant leak in multiple places, using a really expensive refrigerant that isn’t used anymore and my unit being 20 years old). Mark H. was so thorough in explaining the why and how and his recommendations. He was absolutely wonderful. Then working with Mark (the owner) to go over pricing and schedule was incredibly easy, again very friendly and knowledgeable. They were able to replace the next week, which blew my mind at how quick they were able to get back to me. Reese and Curtis (there was a 3rd and I missed his name!) were here promptly at 9am on the scheduled day. Very easy to work with in figuring out best solution for roof access. Only took a few hours and they were done. Hands down the best HVAC company I’ve ever worked with. I will choose them every time!

I got 6 quotes as it was time to replace our 20 year old HVAC systems and The Coolest had by far the best price. They were also the only company that told us that we could bump each system down by 1/2 a ton as we had too much for the size of our home. They are great. While my AC was working, there was a noise in the pipes caused by draining during condensation. It is not easy to detect but Mark figured out the issue and fixed it for my neighbor and I. Highly recommend.

The Coolest lives up to their name. I had a unique install (minisplit in a railroad caboose), and agonized over a couple of details. The Austin Coolest team has done several projects on our house, both big & small. They most recently replaced & relocated our AC unit. We are very happy with the end product & the crew was great- professional, courteous & tidy. We would absolutely recommend them as their prices are fair & their work is solid!

They are awesome!We received four quotes for HVAC installation, and three specifically for minisplit installation. The Coolest was the last team we asked to come by for a quote. We were already leaning towards one of the previous three companies, but by the time we finished our hour-long walk-through and conversation with The Coolest we were pretty confident that they were the team we were going to go with just because of the ease of communication during the walk-through. Once the quote came in there was no question - not only were they going to install a top-of-the-line mini-split system, but they came in far below our budget.We had a number of other projects going at the same time, and so had to hold off on installation for a few months. The Coolest worked with our schedule seamlessly, and when the day came they knocked out the full (4 room) install in two days.We will be going back to The Coolest for all of our maintenance and heating/cooling questions and needs for as long as we are in Austin - maybe even if we arent well just call them to make sure were making a good decision.

I was able to get my AC repaired in a really timely manner. While the tech was here he was able to map out my duct system and recommend a better design to improve the airflow and ensure cleaner air in my house with the installation of an air purifier in my ducts.These guys really know what theyre talking about and have always been a pleasure to work with. It was super easy to schedule an initial examination of my HVAC unit, get a recommendation on the changes needed and actually execute the work. Based on other reviews, we decided to give them a try. They were very professional and responsive and the price was very competitive. We signed up for a twice yearly maintenance plan.

I do not write a lot of reviews... but I cannot recommend these guys highly enough - Mark and his crew are absolutely top notch, and super good dudes. We have multiple properties in which they have installed, repaired and maintained the HVAC units. They are ALWAYS very friendly, highly professional, and extremely responsive - all at very reasonable and competitive pricing. In one example: Our AC blew up in August when it was 105+ degrees and my wife and 2 year old baby were stuck at home in the heat. Of course, his team was completely overloaded (mid summer in Texas), but they still managed to come by immediately and set up a temporary AC unit to keep the house cool until they could get back to us the next day to complete the full job. And more recently they came by and installed a mini-split in my office in no time at all, and it looks and works great! They truly are awesome folks, and I will not use any other HVAC company in Austin.

This team was a win for us on all fronts when one of our old AC systems needed a total replacement. This is going to be a long list, but they did so well in so many things Id hate to leave anything out.- They responded quickly to our request for information and a bid. The entire team was very professional, yet very personable, at all times.- They were extremely informative in helping us consider the pros and cons of the various system options. We ended up opting to spend more up front to get the top-of-the-line Evolution 22.5 SEER Heat Pump system. We are confident that this is a win in multiple ways: The greatly reduced energy consumption will make up for the up-front cost over the years; it will reduce strain on the energy grid; the variable speed outdoor unit (which is near our bedroom) is so quiet you have to walk up to it and look to tell if it is running, what a difference!; and the indoor humidity control and temperature stability has gotten rid of the hot and cool peaks that we could feel when the old system cycled on and off... it feels like the temperature is always precisely the same. Amazing.- The installation team was super! They were very careful with our home and protected the floors etc as the old equipment went out and came in. The neatness of their installation was top of the line, everything is neatly routed, well-aligned and sealed, etc. Importantly to me, they were fun to talk with, answered with all of my questions, and let me see things at various stages of the installation so I could understand how it all went in and worked. At the same time they were also respectful of COVID concerns and kept proper distancing and masks in place which made us very comfortable with their presence.- The management and sales team were very helpful, informative, and worked to provide very competitive pricing which helped us make the decision to go for the best system. Then they arranged for installation in short order, quickly followed up,, and took care of all of the registration of the system with Bryant, and much to my surprise... took point on doing the Bryant rebate and the Austin Energy paperwork for us, the sizable rebate for upgrading from 14 SEER to 22.5 SEER is much appreciated.I really cannot imagine anything about the experience and the end results coming out any better. They have certainly earned their name. Thank you!

Mark came over the same evening Id called that afternoon and fixed my outdoor AC unit.Even though he found the problem and fixed it in 5 minutes....Mark stayed and and did an overall maintenance check on my unit and had a checklist on which he recorded his findings. His work was extremely thorough and gave me a wonderful feeling of confidence. What a true professional he is Plus he was sincerely interested in me sleeping in an air conditioned Dome that evening...so he stayed a little later to make sure the problem was fixed and the inside temp was coming down. The other great person part of their team was the gentleman who answered my phone call. I asked them if they could possibly do same day service. He very politely excused himself for a second from our conversation...and came back shortly. and said Well YES, Ms McCall, we can have a technician out to your. residence by 6:00 pm. I was elated and very grateful and a devoted customer from the very beginning. The Coolest is a 4 year company made up of a very talented staff. After reading their 75 Five Star Online Reviews, I called them.I was a very happy and satisfied customer that day and appreciated his level of empathy and his additional acts of kindness!Mark was truly the coolest guy Id ever met doing service in my Dome!I promised him Id sign up in February for their. bi annual. maintenance checks..Well 5 days later, I realized my inside unit was not working and the temperature kept rising inside my Dome. Again, it was around 3:00 pm when I called to report my AC was out again. By 4:00 pm, Mark comes back over to evaluate my current problem. After talking about repairing or replacing the 15 year old unit, I opted for a new unit. He had it ordered before he left and the next afternoon, he and an apprentice came over about 1 pm and stayed until after 8:30 pm installing my new indoor unit. They had to do a lot of extra work to even get the unit inside a small closet space, but worked together diligently until the job was complete and running perfectly! My new construction home, sold a month before, had heating issues. The subcontractor/installer ghosted me, because hed been paid and knew hed done a poor job. Most HVAC companies would not work on, let alone warranty, my new homeowners heat exchanger. The Coolest was up to the challenge. Their guy diagnosed the problem, and even got the condenser warranty honored by the OEM, saving me hundreds of bucks. The replacement part arrived during the cold snap here in Austin, and was installed next day, despite poor driving conditions and snow on the ground. James and The Coolest are LIFE SAVERS!!! My family came to visit over Memorial Day weekend, and on Day 1, my AC started blowing hot air at 9pm. I absolutely panicked. I have been struggling with a coolant leak for some years, and it got to the point where refilling was pointless. The Coolest came over to find the leak and fix it. I believe they are cheaper than other companies, but they still seem very well trained and knowledgeable about the matter, and they spend time to explain you what is going on. They seem honest, or at least they are the first company that didn’t say “your equipment is old and needs to be entirely replaced”, which is an excellent way other companies tried to deploy to spill money off of me. I worked with James as a technician, I highly recommend him.They could not fix the leak in one round, since there was more than one leak, so they had to come over again to put dye in the system and then again to (unsuccessfully) find the dye.... AC seems better, hopefully it’s fixed. But I don’t think the multiple trips were due to them not knowing what they were doing. The technician was always super nice and has always explained what was going on... I was there with him and I he did a great job in an out, sometimes it just happens that a job ends up being more complicated than you think.Will definitely call them again for hvac or water heater!

Just had an ac tune-up by Mark at The Coolest. He was friendly, professional, and thorough. He was great at explaining the results of his assessment of the different components of my system and informing me of things to watch out for and things I could do as a homeowner to properly maintain it. We should have written a review when The Coolest first installed our system because James and the rest of The Coolest team did an excellent job reviewing our situation and developing a plan to address the unique airflow and cooling problems we were facing. Fast forward to Easter Sunday 2020, when our AC stopped blowing air. In the middle of COVID-19 and on a holiday, James and The Coolest team responded and were at our house within an hour. They had taken precautions to have masks and gloves on despite having to spend time in a hot attic. James addressed the issue quickly without even charging us! They are simply incredible and I highly recommend them.

I have used Mark and his guys at The Coolest for a couple of years now tuning up and fixing any issues with my A/C and have been completely satisfied each time. James has been my tech for the majority of my services and is as professional, knowledgeable and courteous as they come. 5 stars across the board.

Initial call was for a drain service b/c of water in the pan. Mark was very collaborative in the debug of the issue and easy to work with. He also did a great job balancing the air flow in my system. He also found and repaired two previously unknown open seems in my pleniums - likely saving me significant money on energy bills. Our system is running noticeably better after his service call. Consider me one of Cool Kids! James with The Coolest LLC was fantastic. He confirmed the appointment, used proper social distancing precautions and masking, and (most importantly) explained things to me in an easy-going yet clear manner. My wife and I recently bought our home, and we still dont know what we dont know. He went over what our HVAC system did, what its limitations are, and what to watch out for. Summers here are no joke, so knowing that our system was in good shape is worth the price of the maintenance by itself. Weve got some more projects in mind for later, and will definitely be working with The Coolest again!

Our A/C started leaking and flooded our closet, these guys sent James out and he was fast, courteous and worked in our hot attic with his mask on. He warned us to keep an eye on the water because hoses can sometime clog again shortly after they’ve been flushed, I noticed several hours later a small drip was occurring in one of the places that had been leaking-my husband reached out to let them know so they could send some back out the next day, but James came back that night! He fixed us up even though it was 10 o’clock in the evening. We were able to go to bed knowing the water had stopped finally. Definitely recommend!

Our AC went out and it was 95 degrees outside. James was here within the hour and expertly diagnosed the issue, and had us up and running in no time. 10 stars if I could!! He was so pleasant to work with too!

Fast and honest! When the other guys told me I needed $1200 worth of work, James told me everything we experienced was normal. He recommended a UV light at a much lower cost than the other guys wanted to charge for the same product. He also let me know that the part we needed was under warranty when the original installer didnt and wanted to over charge me for it. Thanks guys!

Mark helped us out quickly and professionally. He was great with our dog, giving me a heads up when he was going to be making a lot of noise. We will definitely use The Coolest in the future.

Mark arrived on time for a tuneup, was friendly, and did a great job. He replaced a couple of parts on the compressor and made sure we’re all set for the summer. We signed up for the maintenance plan, and a technician will be back in the fall the make sure the furnace will be in top shape for winter.

I called The Coolest because I was having problems heating the downstairs of my 2-story home. I was able to make an appointment for the next day. James and Mark arrived on time. They were extremely courteous and knowledgeable. They were able to diagnose and treat my situation the very same day. Coolest people replaced two AC units at my home, and helped me fill out the rebate forms for PEC. Today I get the rebate credit, and think that I should thank them for timely response, knowledge education on all the AC unit specs, and quality installation works & customer services.

I just had a diagnostic visit and replacement of a capacitor and a contactor on my AC system. Mark was very professional, explained everything to me completely, and made no attempt to either minimize or over state the condition of my system. In other words he seemed very honest and not trying to just sell more services.My initial booking with Newt was very courteous and worked to my schedule. They also sent me text to confirm the appointment. And then showed up when they said.I was quite satisfied with this company and would definitely call them again. Finding an HVAC company thats reliable and honest isnt always a given. This one seems to be just that.

I was able to book a next day appointment. Mark diagnosed the issue quickly, and scheduled the repair after acquiring the parts for a day and a half later. He and James arrived on time, thoroughly explained their process, warranty information, and preventive measures. I highly recommend this service and will continue to use them in the future. These guys installed my new AC system last year and I was 5 stars of happiness. Today, James came by to give me a winter tune up and he, once again, provided me with 5 stars of happiness. Not only did he do the tune up, he also set up the schedule on my thermostat, filled a hole in my outside wall with foam to keep the bugs out, AND he showed me how to clean my outside unit.
