Service was great and food was even better! Everything was full and hot. Chocolate covered strawberries were my favorite 💕 from the chocolate fountain. My kids loved it as well. Such an easy dinner option since there are so many choices l. Everyone can get what they want. Stopped here waiting to catch my flight back to New Orleans and it was perfect.

All I can give is a C for average. The salad bar was a good selection of vegetables. Please guys can we throw out the brown leaves! The crab salad warm. In future cold food should be cold and hot food should be hot not over warmed with dryness! The staff in the dinner hall gave good service. If you looking to get filled up and ordinarily food search no further!

Great value but the entry line is long. Eat as much as you want. The food is excellent. Self serve but be prepared for crowds. And bring a wheel barrow so someone can wheel you home bc youll be too full to walk. Haha.

Pretty good food overall for people who dont like restaurant employees controlling their portion sizes...for big eaters and competitive eaters...Love the Saturday and Sunday breakfast too!Only downsides are 1) I need refills fast and sometimes its hard to find the server or even be unsure who the server is..the refills can be too slow...I wish this Golden Corral had a machine where people can fill up their own soda, like the one in Huntsville Alabama does - that is much more satisfying...Sometimes the food is old and cold..i try not to be too critical of these things when they happen and just enjoy...

Food was very mediocre, hair in Mac and cheese, chicken was raw, chicken fried steak was stale and old. Not worth the price, save yourself the money and go somewhere else.

It has been a while since our last visit before the remodel but its no longer as good as before. The remodeling looks very nice and clean but the food part of it has fewer options now. They minimized the whole buffet area so now there are not as many options as they use to have. The options that they have for lunch are not very good but I have to admit that their dessert table gets the golden medal. What they lack in food options they make up in dessert options 😂😂 still a good place to visit once in a while.

It was a smaller selection than I remember, but everything was fresh and tasty. The place was clean, the prices were decent.

This was the first time at this particular restaurant and when I got there about 2:30 there was a line waiting to be seated. About 20 min later I was seated. The selection of food was good. I would recommend this place for someone who needs variety. The sever was there getting refills and clearing the plates as I needed. I cant say the food tasted any different and nothing stood out to me.

Well besides the lady restocking the cut vegetables, wiping her gloves on her butt and apron, then continue to restock the fresh cucumbers. It was good, customer service needs work, and better communication while busy. But for being so busy, food was hot and being restocked somewhat quickly. Clean bathrooms, serving and seating areas

Its a very very busy place, but the service was excellent! I dont know how they were able to keep up with the huge number of customers, but just be patient with the workers and food shortage, because they were quick to replace empty food trays. Management was definitely on top of their game, and they had very dedicated workers. Thanks for the great service!

My first time at the Corral for breakfast.We were there for a birthday party in their private rooms. The restaurant was busy but they were able to keep the vast variety of food options available.They offer the normal buffet breakfast items including an omelet bar, but they also had a large portion of their lunch menu available including soups.The food was good and the service was adequate given the size of the party and being a buffet.

Overall the absolute worst Golden Corral experience I’ve ever had. There was a veryyy slim selection. Everything had almost certainly been sitting there for hours, as all food items were cold and stiff. There was a fly in one of the food items. Service was really bad. Our drinks were given to us and then we never got helped again. Steak was really gross and overcooked. Pork steak was yummy but 90% fat. Pretty disappointed as I’ve always enjoyed Golden Corral around the country

Tried a variety of foods and overall was very pleased. With the exception of only 2 things I enjoyed everything and they can just be personal taste. Service was fast and friendly even during peak dinner hours. Will definitely go back.

I like this place very much. I go every Saturday to have steaks with salad and other trimmings. Last time I was there, little kid was left there. All the staff made the kid feel very good until the family returned for him. The servers are very nice and friendly. They like to joke all the time. The food is always fresh.

The food was all really great! Things are done differently for c19 safety, they serve you, but give generous portions, etc. All of the entrees were fresh & delicious. The rolls are buttery & soft, be sure to grab one! Friendly service. The newly remodeled restaurant looks much brighter & cleaner! There was quite a line when we left at 3p on a Friday, so checking Google wait times might be a good idea. Tip well!

Food was one small step up from hospital cafeteria food, prices were outrageous, dessert table was bare and the cakes that were there were frozen. Sign on the door says to tip the servers but we only saw one when they brought our drinks. No offer to refill either. I would not waste my money here again.

Its been quite a while since I last ate here. The food is still delicious. They remodeled the inside and it looks great. Glad they have a to go section now.

We use to love coming here for lunch but after today we will not be returning. You can thank Glori the waitress we had today. She was very rude and totally treated us poorly. We had to ask four different times for our drinks after we sat down. When she noticed my husband needed more water she asked if he wanted a refill. He said yes please and she ignored him for 15 minutes while she just walked around and never got him more water. She was the worst waitress we had ever had and will never return to this place again.

Service- Top notch, 5 stars. They were very busy and kept everyone moving along quickly. The staff was friendly, attentive, and kept the place clean.Food/value- Its definitely lower quality meats...but its a buffet..so kind of expected. The cook on all the meats was nice..so the employees are definitely carrying the place, making up for lower quality choices of the establishmentSides are pretty decent, and some even very good.Overall- If you want to eat to your hearts content and have friendly service, but dont mind lower quality meats, go here. I would go back.Give these employees a raise, they are working hard with a smile!

It is a decent place. The lines were kept clean and fairly well-stocked. The food is to be expected for a buffet as they are cooking for the masses with that in mind there are still some good selections to choose from.I would recommend and will probably return myself

The food was not bad. The selection could have been better. I thought they serve breakfast every day I guess not. The website made it seem like breakfast was daily. I had to have chicken, mash potatoes etc for breakfast.

Food quality was good. Different from when I went years ago. The staff were very helpful when it came to finding out about what foods contain or may have been in contact with peanuts for my peanut allergy. I just wish there were more signs about allergy info etc. Will be back!

This is THE WORST LOCATION IVE EVER BEEN TO! Salad lettuce was mushy and tasted old. My fried chicken was bloody red inside. They had no meat for the taco bar. I used to like this location but the last time I ate there it was terrible! Service was also terrible. Had to get up and keep finding a server to bring water to the table. I will NEVER RETURN TO THIS LOCATION. EVER. I do not recommend and Im a level 5 Google reviewer. If you want GOOD food please go to the Sheridan location instead NOT the Aurora one!

Good selection of food. Mashed sweet potato was delicious. Grid shrimp was good. It was buisy and they kept it clean. Service was a little slow on our drinks, I saw a fountisn machine by the butter so maybe you can get your own drinks.

Let me start by saying I Love Golden Corral!! I mean where else can you go to satisfy your craving for steak, meatloaf, and fried chicken all at the same time! And finish it off with a brownie sundae and a fresh made pink cotton candy stick!!👍👍😁😁💕💕.. The food is always delicious, and fresh. The service is always top notch, and the restrooms are always clean! They are changing the way you get your food to more of a cafeteria style line due to covid-19, but the people are quick and the food is still amazing. If you havent been in a while, or never tried this wonderful experience in completely stuffing yourself with the most amazing smorgasbord of food then get your fat pants on right now and go!! Youll love it!!

It was ok, but to be honest the selection and quality of food seemed better before the remodel (my personal opinion, obviously).

We had a great time. The staff is very accommodating to the guests whatever you need, within reason, is achieved. Actually pretty clean considering the turnover in guests.

Buffet wasnt as big as other buffets but it definitely had lots to choose from and the quality of the food was better than some of the other buffets. The desserts were on point with their pudding, ice cream with toppings and chocolate covered strawberries. And the young man that brought us drinks kept our drinks full and the used dishes picked up. Will definitely be going back.

Idk what y’all talking about, this is the best Golden Corral around. The kitchens are close together so the food comes out faster than it goes in your face. It’s all seating and less buffet space than other Golden Corral’s but less is more in this case. Oh, and great service! Join the rewards app

I really like Golden Corral food is always good, servers are on the ball, place is clean, plenty of food to to select from that is temp perfect, replenished in timely fashion. What more could you want, prices reasonable, Sr and military discounts... my favorite for all occasions.

I dont know where the good food went. The food was decent at one point. The ice cream is better. Think it was frozen yogurt before. One thing that I was noticing and didnt think it was appropriate, they were not sanitizing the tables. Resteraunts clean between customers but Golden Corral was only wiping down with a mild wet towel that hung from there hips. We are still in Covid-19. They did have sanitizer and glove when you wanted to dish your food.

Happy they are back opened. Missed their smiling faces, bread pudding, fish, chicken, veggies and beef over rice. I enjoy watching people enjoy family time. Thank you all. Keep up the great job. God bless

Food great and quite a variety. Ran out of some food and had to wait or ask for refills. Steak had good flavor but one overcooked and one lots of grissle. Cheap cut but for price its expected. Drinks are refilled by staff and quite a wait time. I must say tho we all left extremely full and price was excellent for volume of food. Use self control if you can or plan on leaving miserably full. LOL

Place looks nice for the remodel but not very open, you have to dodge all the chairs and people to get back to and from the food area. Service isnt the best, plates were piling before theyre cleaned. Drinks dont get filled until tell your waitress.

The renovation stood out, from entry to dining. The food at the salad bar was real tasty, I had no complaints this visit.

Wasnt bad for lunch. Many items, lettuce a little wilted, but overall clean and efficient.

Love this golden corral it was very clean good food and had a very modern feel to the place so often you feel like it is still the 80s in these places.

First time in since before the remodel and covid. The food was good, but when my son and I returned to the table our stuff was at there was an older couple that told us we had to move because it was THEIR table, even though there was nothing on it when we set out things there. We moved to the very next table rather than making an issue out of it, but it was pretty rude. Later a couple of employees (possibly management) stopped to chat with them like friends. I guess that sort of thing have then the idea that they can do whatever they want.. not the sort of experience I care to have again.

The only reason I had a great experience was the waiters . They were so on it so fast and friendly and it was truly wonderful. I dont like the food much and the variety isnt great but when theres great workers it makes it better !

Clean location. Fresh food. Only thing I would change is the waitress we had was to busy chatting with everyone else and not paying attention to our table. I had to get another waitress to get us water 2 times. She wasnt taking our dirty plates I had to ask a different waiter to help.

We had a death in our immediate family and 20 of us were treated like ROYALTY at your restaurant on Mississippi and Ironton.Thank your AMAZING STAFF.I EVEN TOOK HOME CARRY OUT. FOOD WAS GREAT.

Golden Corral is always a treat since we dont have them within a 90 mile radius where we live anymore. Brunch is great but, Id rather have dinner.

Nice and responsive staff. Very clean faculties. Food was amazing. Grill cooks were super nice and attentive. Definitely will be going back.

It was very nice to go to the corral and have a buffet once again . The new building is very nice and clean the food is pretty much the same only this time they serve you so its its just so much cleaner. I do miss a salad bar where I can have the salad of my choice not that they dont have salads they have prepared salads. The prices are the same and the food quality is the same as it was so I was quite happy. And to be truthful I was more tickled in the fact that it was a buffet open again.

I love this place BUT I’ll never came back for a service like that, some food were not cooked right, and it was cold!, I really miss we’re you can go around a pick your own food. I recommend to put that back honestly because if they keep doing this they gonna lose a lot of customers like my family and few friends. And I think im not the only one who has this issues with the service.

Options for food were basic as hell and not very many. You cant have 3 different cut of fries and consider it 3 different sides! Smh. And I didnt think the food was very warm either. The quality of food isnt worth the price. Oh.. And I suggest getting there before the dinner price switchs over. This place is defenitly not worth the dinner price. Our server was very nice and attentive though.

I had one plate but it was so filling with, 7 kinds of meats... Steaks and pork. It was very cool with a tall glass of horchata!!! Keep up the good work!

It was good until our server said what no tip service not good enough. We werent even done it. Then when I tipped a couple of dollars he complained to another employee about it...

I used to like coming here often because of the omelets and bread, but nowadays the only food that taste amazing are the deserts. The food is decent, on the positive side for me.

I really think this location has done a great job since reopening. There is still a wide selection of food to choose from, all the classic fan favorites. Since the remodel there is more seating. The food area feels a little tight but they do seem to limit how many people are in that area to begin with so its not unbearable.

Comfort food to the max! Green beans, squash, spinach, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, baked potatoes, and a nice salad bar. There is a seafood section, most selections are fried in this area, there are lots of chicken options, fried, bourbon, etc. Also pulled pork and steak with mushrooms. Ice cream, cakes, and a chocolate fountain with marshmallows and fresh fruit. Adding that my server was attentive and friendly. The food...everything was basically cooked to perfection, warm, and well stocked. Although a little pricey at $18 for one person.

Food was bad. By bad I mean the salad greens were bad, all the lettuce, spinach looked bad. The food options available were not a good variety. At least half the food options they had probably came from a can or frozen, no seafood options at all. Service was good atleast.

Had to stand around for five minutes to get fried chicken and when it came out all they had was legs and wings😳

I like the new look after the renovations its much more cleaner and nicer and easier to get to things only downside as it feels like they did have to sacrifice a couple of food options a couple of cuisines they used to have but overall it was a great upgrade to a long-standing business.

The staff was very professional and stayed on top of your needs. However, the food was not to my liking. Everything was pland no seasoning on any of the food. The only thing that was enjoyable was the desert bar.

The food was not as good as it was before, the waiters were more attentive,and cleaner.
