My wife and I recently had our wedding at Gaslite in March, and we had such a wonderful experience. Amid the covid crisis that were currently facing, George was so helpful on assisting us on planning the wedding weve always imagined it to be. Hes very personable, and also flexible to work with. The coordinator that we had in the chapel also did a terrific job on the rehearsal, and also on the day of the wedding. She ensured that everything ran smooth according to what we had rehearsed the day before.Their chapel, and reception area are really nice! The food also tasted great! If youre looking for a convenient place to book an event, I highly recommend Gaslite. They also have a large parking space too for your guest to park when they arrive

I have over the years attended several events at this venue on multiple occasions and have always been impressive with the exceptional service of the staff and facility. Yesterday was no disappointment either while attending the Wayside Cross New Life Banquet.

We have been to many Weddings and other events at this venue, First thing is you wont find a more gracious host than George ~ Second its impossible to go hungry at this venue and the food is awesome ~ Just when you think youre done they bring out a fresh roast pig! So awesome host, great food, great venue how could you go wrong?Definitely worth checking out for the next big event you may have coming up.

The place itself is very beautiful, the food was excellent. I definitely would recommend this place. Great for weddings. They have a separate gazebo and chapel.

Had a great time at the Ducks Unlimited dinner. Great venue to catchup with old friends. The chicken and beef were excellent!

This venue was one that our high school used quite a bit, from dances to brunches, and it worked well for all of them. Great rooms, lots of parking, easy access from the tollway. Worked well as a polling place too!

I was here with my family for Easter Brunch, and we really enjoyed the place. It is HUGE!!! The only downfall was the distance we had to walk to get all of our food. But a little exercise to get some chocolate cake isnt such a bad thing.The staff was really nice, and I cant wait to get invited here for a wedding. I think I found our familys favorite place for the Holidays!

Friends had an engagement party here. Was an excellent venue. Easy parking and lovely facilities. Would certainly consider it for hosting an event of my own.

Went there for Mothers Day. Some of the food was good but most was boring. there werent a lot of options. alot of the decor is old and run down. the music was terrible! Elton John the whole time at loud sound. It was a bit much.

Nice venue with a small-medium size Chapel. Banquet hall was nice and good sized. Great staff.

George and his team always do a wonderful job. We had our wedding reception at Gaslite and the entire experience was easy, affordable and problem free.We also hold an annual fundraising event and our guests always rave about how great the food is. I am always impressed by how well they can get 400+ filet mignon dinners served in a matter of a few minutes and everything comes out perfect. You have to have the green beans, they wont disappoint.

We had our wedding Sept. 28, 2013 and I couldnt have been happier with the service performed by George himself or the beautiful way our banquet room was decorated. My guests were awed when they came in for the scrumptious buffet lunch they were served and the staff was courteous and professional. The wedding ceremony held in the chapel was a lovely event unto itself! The personalization and thoughtfulness that went into making my wedding day an incredible event to remember can never be repaid - Thank you George and staff!-The new Mrs. Hoag

Todays Brunch was THE WORST. Brown n Serve sausage, no flavor scammbled eggs, onions with potato flavor, dry ribs, frozen toast sticks......never again. The gall to charge $30+. Did the owners taste what they were sereving?

My husband and I got married here on 10/7/12. I would give this venue an excellent review but on the day of the wedding there were issues. Up until the wedding the service and accomadations were excellent. Everything on the day of the wedding was excellent as well. However, after the ceremony we were taking pictures and the woman was eager to kick us out of the chapel on schedule at 5pm. I understand they told us to be out by 5 but there were not any other weddings or events because it was a Sunday. I also didnt appreciate that she duped our stuff on the curb like we were late on our rent. I guess my husband said something to her and she took it as being rude and told her husband, the owner, George. During the reception George started giving us crap over a bunch of little stuff. He said we couldnt take our food home, we did a buffet. Then he got mad that we used some to-go styrofoam containers and he said it was not included in what we paid. Excuse me? I didnt realize that $9,000 wouldnt cover some 10 cent containers. I honestly liked George and he gave excellent service through the whole experience. I believe he was only acting out of sorts because of whatever the Mrs. had said. More the reason not to mix business with pleasure. By the way I didnt meet her until the rehearsal so I cant give any other review for her other than the day before and the day of the Wedding. She was actually awesome and light hearted while showing us the steps during the rehearsal. Just the day of something happened. I would recommend with a warning to others.
