I recently switched my homeowner and auto insurances to Allstate. The coverage was actually slightly better and the price was less than what I was paying. The location is close to my house which is convenient and the staff has been nice.

I have been with this Allstate office since 1985, when one day, I found a postcard about renters insurance, slipped under my apartment door about renters insurance. I had never even heard of it, but my mom said I should get it. The first chance I got, I added my car. That agent was Don Draper and although I never even met him, I became very loyal. When Andrew Fry took over the business, he never skipped a beat. I am aware the trends are going towards handling all of your insurance needs online without ever developing a relationship with an agent. Even though they say it is for ease and affordibility, with something this important, Im sticking with old fashioned way. At Andys office (although I have never been there, because I moved 200 miles away!) I have never had to wait for help. Phone calls and emails are always returned promptly and everyone is friendly, knowledgable and eager to help. While they make sure my policy is always up-to-date, they dont bother me with a lot of other stuff! I highly recommend Andrew Fry and Allstate.

Unfortunately for us we have had both auto and homeowners insurance claims in the past with Allstate.
