Not my first time being disappointed with this salon. I ONLY go here if my family invites me because it is most convenient to them. I went in for a shellac pedicure, they removed my previous color and started on my new color right away without cleaning or cutting my toe nails. I have pretty deep nail beds, so without getting them cut regularly- it begins to be painful! I even asked her to cut and clean them out. She did one toe… PEOPLE NEED TO READ REVIEWS - because this place is not worth the visit.

I live in Lakeland Hills and thought I would go to them since I had some time between meetings. As I entered the establishment, I stood in the entry for a while before I was greeted. The owner finally acknowledged me. I told him I was interested in getting a shellac color change. I asked him how much, and he stated that it would be $33 and I commented that sounded high (only because nail places in the area only charge $25 for the same service, not because I dont have the money. He loudly said, you can go somewhere else! Then he turned his back and sat down in a pedicure station. My daughter had a similar incident with him! I am appalled! You call yourself a business owner, and you treat customers and potential customers like that??? You could be entertaining an NBA players wife. So you should be careful how you talk to people. There are plenty of places I can spend money, but I chose yours out of convenience. You wont see me, my daughter, friends and or colleagues establishment again. If I could give you a zero I would have rated you that. Hopefully you will get your customer service skills together, if not you wont be in business long.

I must agree with the previous ratings. Very terrible job! Went in today for a pedicure and the old lady clearly didn’t know what she was doing. She didn’t clean my feet/toes properly and I even had to instruct her. I didn’t want to be rude and ask the other worker to do it so I will not be returning. Left with no tip. Lazy job!!!! Beware!!!

Did a great job with my acrylic fill. She gave me exactly what I asked for! Love it so much!!!I also broke a nail which had to be fixed. Great price for a acrylic fill and gel manicure.

Went in to get a gel manicure and a normal pedicure. The process was fine, but the owner was rude about me touching my finished nails stating that they are still not completely cured though I had then under the lamp 3 times at 60 seconds by the tech. A couple days passed and my cuticles starting hurting on 5 of my nails and I noticed water blisters around my nails/cuticles. I went in to ask for a refund and the owner stated it was just dry skin and refused to discuss since he was with a client. He then asked to see my nails again and then put cuticle oil and said just put vaseline and shoo’d me away. As much as I explained my situation, he refused to take accountability. Do not recommend.

The lady that did my pedicure did not know what she was doing. It consisted of soaking my feet in cold water, she scrubbed my heels and put lotion on my legs and then polish. She did not do anything to cuticles, didn’t cut or file nails even though I had broken a couple and they were all jagged, didn’t clean toenails. Not good!!! I decided to just do a gel polish change since the pedicure was not good, I figured the manicure would not be either. I won’t be back.

I went to get a simple full set of acrylics and they are horrible. The station was not clean at all, old nail polish remover was still stuck on it. There is extra acrylic under my nails, the nail polish is chunky and not put on properly. There is glue all over my fingertips and there was no attempt of getting it off, and there are multiple bubbles in them. There is dirt and hair stuck underneath the different layers of nail polish, and there cracks in them after only a couple hours. The filed my cuticles raw to where I almost was bleeding, I do not recommend this salon.

The price was fine, the nails were poorly done and the worker was rude. Glue was left on my hands, some of the nails are painful to touch. I work in customer service so I understand, and would not leave a review unless I was completely unsatisfied.

I will not be going back to this salon again to have acrylics done. The girls that did our pedicures did a decent job, their artwork on the big toes is the best part, and they were super nice. The guy that did my acrylics did a horrible job, rushed through, did not do a manicure to prep my nails. He didn’t clean my cuticles back or anything, just slapped some white tips on and he couldn’t even do that right. The tips are too small for my nail beds. Which drives me crazy, they are too thick and not even close to the same shape. Also, he didn’t clean the excess acrylic out from under my nails, pictured below. I will be having them fixed tomorrow. I am so disappointed that my Mother’s Day will be spent do this instead of spending time with my kids.

Very pleased with the service I received from a most conscientious and caring nail technician. Excellent value also. Will return again.

Fantastic experience. Just a regular pedicure and the technician did a wonderful job. I will be back next month for sure!

I like going there. Reasonable pricing and they do a good job whether its Waxing or for a pedicure. Nice atmosphere.

UPDATE: after writing the first review it was less than two days later and my nail polish came off. They put the top coat on and then dremmeled the tips of the nail, getting rid of the top coat sealant. The nail polish started peeling off from the tips a day later. I will say that I got my acrylics off the fastest Ive ever had and they did a great job.

Amazing job on my nails! I got my acrylics filled and shellac on them. The gal doing my nails I could hardly understand and the guy had to take over painting them but I definitely will still be going back. The prices were not bad either.

They did such a great job! I got the dip and it looks so amazing thank you so much! They had great customer service, they were very personable, they have reasonable prices. (I paid 87.00 for dipped nails, my eyebrows waxed, and for shellac nails. Which is very reasonable!) Usually it’s $150.00 for all of this at a normal salon! Amazing I’m astonished!! I love it here. Definitely will be going back!!

I’m not sure I understand all the bad reviews. I had a great experience. Go judge them for yourselves before you make a decision on some bad reviews.

They have good prices

This place is the worst. They did my nails and there were bubbles. I asked for short. I told him they were to long. He told me give it a couple days. I would get used to them. I left and went right across the street and they fixed them for me. Even the ladies that were in the nail place that fixed my nails said we went there 1 time and never again. I will never ever go back to Lakeland nails and spa.

Lets just start off by saying I came to this salon at the opening hour, and the nail artist did not wash his hands or sanitize whatsoever. And not just him, but all the artists. not to mention his hands got sweaty after a couple of minutes later. ive been to this salon in the past, and every time i have gone, there is glue on the sides, and they put WAY too much gel on that happens to be very uneven. also, the place is very dirty and I can tell they dont wipe much down. there is dust all over the place, and puddles of nail polish remover on the stations, and let me say this again, I came here at the opening hour! if you want a cheap look for a cheap price, this is the place to go.

Tried to ask them to just clean up my cuticles and trim the callused skin under my nails, they refused telling me that was something completely different, I can promise I will NEVER be coming back here again. Only stopped here because it was on my way home, if I had known I was going to be treated like I wasnt a valued customer I wouldve just kept driving. But lesson learned, no worries you just lost another customer. Next time Ill just go to my regular place.

Wow! I was extremely impressed with the fantastic job Andy did on my nails. So clean did exactly the shape and color I was looking for. Will be back again! I wanted a pink and white ombré nail, and it was spot on 🙌🏻

My nails look so bad. I got gel nails and there is four coats of color, some nails have nail polish on the skin, and some nails the polish doesn’t even reach the nail bed. I will never go there again for my nails and I recommend you don’t either! I would have gone back to get them re done or get a refund but I was uncomfortable because I cannot do confrontation.

They dont listen to what you want.

I got a dipping powder manicure, shellac pedicure, and waxing. All were reasonable priced and high quality. Service was great, and so patient!

I will never spend another cent at this salon.I called today to schedule a lip waxing. The man on the phone told me to come at 7pm. I arrived on time and he asked me to wait. After a few minutes he tells me to go with a woman to get my “eyebrows” done. I said out loud to him and her “no it’s a LIP waxing”. Me and my 10 year old go back to the room and my daughter lays down on the mat. She’s pretty hairy and I was getting her lip waxed for the first time so that she’d feel confident for her first day of school. The woman put alcohol on her lip and eyebrows. I said “no, just her lip” she said “I know” then proceeded to clip my daughters eyebrows to shape them. I thought she was being kind since my daughter was very nervous. Then I see wax. I thought it was going on her lip but then the woman put the wax around her eyebrow. I said “we just want her lip” she said “I know”. After she finished everything, including the lip I left the room to pay.I said to the male cashier that I only wanted lip and didn’t request eyebrows and wasn’t willing to pay for the eyebrows service on a 10 year old that I kept declining. He said he wanted to confirm with the woman first as to what services were rendered. He comes back and said “you’re a liar” and began charging me for both eyebrows and lip. I said “did you just call me a liar?” He said “ we wouldn’t do that and you trying to get over, you’re a liar” I said “I don’t appreciate being handled this way” and I asked him to confirm what I scheduled this appointment for. I told him and the woman many times I just wanted the lip waxed. After he put me down and he said that the money wasn’t big deal but I wasn’t allowed to come back there anymore. All of this in front of my daughter. I paid for the lip and left.I think he may have confused his employee and she didn’t understand why I came in today so she was doing what she thought I wanted. I told him I’d tip her for the eyebrows but not the service. He was rude, spoke over me, accused me and never tried to get an understanding of what was the confusion. Even if I wasn’t banned(which is ridiculous) I’d never return. The first time I went my nails sucked. Haven’t been back in two years, figured they couldn’t screw up a lip but I was wrong. Never been treated so poorly. Felt my race played a major roll on how I was treated. I would have paid had I not asked like 7 times for just the lip.

I took my young niece to get her nails done here but she didn’t want the guy touching her so she kindly asked for a female technician because there are always at least 3 there. The man then said that she doesn’t have a choice even though she said it was because of her religious beliefs. He then said outright that he didn’t care about her religion and to leave or go back to her country. She was born here and was a citizen from birth. He is so racist and is extremely rude and has zero respect for women. I will not go there or recommend them to anyone I know. He didn’t care about customer service

I hated it here! The lady who did my nail wasnt nice! She got glue all over my fingers and didnt clean it up! Some of my nails are crooked! The lady cant do any designs! Dont go!!!

My sister and I visited the salon next to Winco on 410.. It was the best experience I have had since I have been getting my nails done... We got Manicures. The Ladies were super nice and helpful. They massaged our arms and shoulders dipped waxed our hands . It was awesome.

Staff was polite and shop was clean, hence the 2 star rating. I came in for a pedicure. i have sensitive feet and the woman giving my pedi did not change her technique even though I jerked my feet out of her hands several times as she was being rough, her nails digging into my skin while holding my feet trimming nail/cuticle. very rough with slapping and kneading during massage. barely used pumice or scrub on my heels. terrible paint job as some toes had paint on cuticle, other places a gap on the nail. trimmed nails and I asked her to even them out. majority were uneven and some cut at an angle. will not return.

Called within 45 minutes before closing and the lady did to come and will be able to do your fill. But when I arrived it was a different store. The three works where just staring at us speaking there language. My Mother in law said hi ladies and didnt not one say hi back or how can we help you. The girl said we are about to close in 30 minutes and cant take anymore. I told her thats not what you said over the phone. She said oh while come back to more. Like now you want to speak English. To anyone thinking about going her dont they are rude and dishonest.

Great nail salon, great prices, lots of staff to accommodate walk ins. Get them in get them out. I personally like that in a nail salon. If ur looking for super high end go somewhere else and pay more. This place is just right for Goldielocks...not too hot...not too cold.

Giving this place one star is generous! I was in the area and decided to get my nails done. I only needed a polish change but decided to get manicure too. I went with gel. The lady took so long painting my nails that they started to set and are very lumpy. I didnt notice how bad they were until I got home and looked at them in normal light. Also, she put sooo much polish on that they look and feel like acrylics. Just ugly! After paying $40 for my nails to look like I painted them myself I am upset. I will have to spend more money to have them fixed at my regular place.

My shellac turned out thin and nice. The second time I went in, they went way too think. I think I will stick to the gal I went to the first time.

When you walk in and ask to get your eyebrows done and a guy says I dont have time for that. That kind of customer service is reflective of a company. Since there was no time at the Lakeland Nail Spa, I drove down an extra two miles to Cacie Nails who I might add was busier and still got me in with no attitude. If you are thinking about getting anything done at the Lakeland Nail Spa please save your money and go somewhere else.

I am new to the area and am looking for a new nail salon. The service is slow. The nails last almost 2 weeks. So a pretty typical nail salon just with slow service. It is an okay salon.

They cut my nails to short even though I asked them not to and they didnt paint the tops of my toe nails. I had to up the road and get them painted. AGAIN.

Lumpy ragged edges near cuticles on fingernails.When I pointed out the ragged edges, the gal attempted to use the file edge to clean up it up. It looks amateurish.One nail has an unevenly pooled and too thick edge at the side.Two nails are not painted up to cutice edges at the base making it abandoned pear like its been growing out.The polish bottle seemed to have lint in it that the tech tried to keep painting out.

I made an appointment at 1030a when they supposedly opened per their website. When I get in on time, not only did they have 5 people already in here getting the nails and feet done, they didnt acknowledge me or the fact that I made an appointment.

Ive never done a review but I wanted to leave one on this particular place..The first time I got a full set on and two of my nails broke the second day..The second time I came here, I got gel nails and they peeled off the next day :( I was so sad! And they filed my nails down so much just for gel nails I hardly had any nail under the gel nails.I decided to give it one last chance and go in again. (Only because the nail place by heggans was full)I saw a simple look off Pinterest to do a yin yang sign and they end up looking like dice.. the lady kept pretending like she didnt understand what I was saying when I told her I didnt like it. My friend was very unpleased with her coffin shaped nails. They seemed nice when we left but not nice when we were there.

Worst service, worst pedicures, and worst place ever! I went here for a pedicure and after the lady got done scrubbing my feet I pointed out that they were still peeling, she said okay. So I asked her if I had to go home and fix it myself then, in which she responded okay again. When she didnt fix any of it I told the manager I only wanted to pay for the paint job because I was going to have to go home and fix it myself he began screaming at me and making a scene. He yelled comments like Im not your servant to make me look like a terrible person in front of everyone and then threatened to call the cops on me if I didnt pay him the full amount right then. I would never recommend this place to anyone! Terrible service all around!

Worse experience! Normally I get my nails done by the man but there was a lady there this time I thought she was his wife she acted as if she runs the place! I have been going there for year but on 7/19/17 when I went and pedi and full set got my nails blue lady seems as if she was having a horrible day doing my pedi and the lady that thought she ran the place has nothing but an attitude and thought she was better you can tell by her Personna
