I have been going for 4+ years to this nail salon and have been getting my nails done consistently for 15 years. I do not like going to other places because they do not do as good of a job. They are quick but that doesn’t compromise the manicure or pedicure. They offer a massage while getting your manicure and pedicure and I’ve gotten waxing services as well!

I have been coming to Hammond Nails since 2014. I’m loyal. It’s the best service and I never feel rushed. Service is always high quality and consistent. Location is clean and abides by all COVID protocols.

I decided to leave a review not only to receive a 10% off coupon never got the 10% off, but however I really did like this place I’ve been coming here for over 2 years and the service used to be amazing but the past three times I have came I have notice the short change in my service I also don’t appreciate that the massage ladies will come right next to me and ask someone if they were interested in a massage she passed by me three times and still never asked she did the same thing the last service I am unclear of why I never get asked for the personal massage I expressed this to the manager last time as he stated to me that he would take care of me the next service that did not happen I also Chose to get a deluxe number three package pedicure however I got a basic Pedicure with a very dry scrub at the end the polish was very nice though I was also unable to leave a tip the person they did my nails finish my nails so fast and asked me to pay I used my card it was never came back to me to see if I wanted to leave a tip on the card I didn’t have cash furthermore if I decide to come back I would appreciate that Hammond nails return to the excellent services that I once had in the beginning

I’ve been going to Hammond Nails for a few years and I absolutely adore them. Zoey is my favorite and she always does the most amazing SNS manicures. She’s done a ton of beautiful designs for me in the past as well. I missed them so much during lockdown but they make me feel so safe now that I’m comfortable going out more. I recommend them to everyone!! And make sure to treat yourself to one of the shoulder massages!

Yall! This is by far one of the best nail salons Ive ever been too in GA. Theres no odor when you walk in through the door like most nail salons, so I dont feel like Im inhaling all of these chemicals. Gazillion colors to choose from and the place is so big! Definitely a must try!

Nina gets me right every time I love how she does my nails and my toes. They just started charging people 2% if you use your card to pay for services which isn’t good. I’ve been going here for years. The receptionists kept telling me this policy has been active for a while but it hasn’t. They may need to invest in a better POS system because charging patrons a fee to pay for service seems to be double dipping. I tip generously every time I come ($20).

Very Sketchy!! Went for pedi, but They keep slipping in charges for things they expressly said are included in the pedi. Been there 2x and each time, same story. They tell you one price before the service, then slip in additional charges at the end.

INSANELY overpriced! I hadnt been here in a while, but they clearly have drastically increased their prices. I got an SNS manicure (where they also removed my previous SNS) on my own nails, with just a solid color (no French or design or anything) and it cost $52!!!! before tip. That is insane! I will never be coming back for that price.

I have never really understood the appeal of this salon. It is loud and they rush you through like an assembly line. I have gone because it was convenient and relatively easy to get in. The technicians were always nice. The manicure quality was so so, very inconsistent. The front desk and the manager are a different story, rude and indifferent. Favoritism is often shown to some customers. I have been a few times since Covid and felt things were better, at least it was calmer and more relaxing. This last visit however reminded me of all the negative things about it and I won’t be going back. I was basically ignored and pushed aside even though I had an appointment. Clients came in after me and were taken care of before me. I would have understood if the appt was made with a certain person but this was clearly not the case. When you pay for a service you expect some attention given to you and and some quality of care. Non-existent at this salon! Best to go somewhere else especially with everything going on now.

My favorite and only nail salon I go to. Linh, the owner, is such a kind man! He’s always up at the front ready to greet you by name & assist with anything you need. His salon offers so many different colors & brands. The salon is really big & efficient. I’ve never had to wait more than 10 minutes before getting seated, but I highly recommend making an appointment as they do have peak hours during the day.Mi & Julie are the best manicurists and pedicurists!

I refuse to go anywhere else for a gel manicure! This is the only place where the polish doesn’t chip before 2 weeks. Usually it will last 3 weeks. Color selection is endless, I’ve tried literally over a dozen other salons that are closer to where I work/live. None do justice compared to this game place, worth the 45min drive any day.

Don’t do a pedicure here, apart from the lackadaisical attitude, they had no idea what they were doing. I and my Mum had to keep reminding them what to do and how to do it, what was supposed to be a relaxing session became one of constantly talking. Just save your money n go somewhere else

This salon typically does a great job, I have been several times and usually leave pretty happy. However, Every time there is some fee added in on the end and it just feels like they are trying to nickel and dime their clients. This last visit a “long nail” fee was added. I truly have never heard of such a thing. I have longer natural nails but nothing crazy. I wish I could add a picture of my nails to show their length is nothing that would deserve a long nail fee. With so many great salons in Atlanta I think it is a shame they do this to their customers.

This place was packed when I came in (on a Tuesday morning) I was sat down right away and worked on in a timely and efficient manner! Jimmy did my toes and he was amazing! Best pedicure I’ve even had, hands down. He took his time and it felt so good!

I left a 5 star review 2 years ago. But the last 2 times I’ve come here, I’ve been disappointed & I will not be returning. The pros are- they’ll get you in quickly, they have lots of techs. They also have lots of colors to choose from & the shop is very organized.The cons- the last pedicure I had was not done well at all. I had to come back later that day to show them. The same tech “fixed” it, but it was still an overall bad pedicure that didn’t last long AT ALL. (This instance and the one below are only a week apart- so the pedicure didn’t last long AT ALL. I mean it looked like I did my own feet after a few days.)I received another pedicure on a different visit which was much better- she even used a tool that the previous tech didn’t use. BUT, it took FOREVER. My nails were done long before the polish even began. I told her for each foot that “It’s fine” for the lotion part bc she was taking so long. Each time I said something. She & the nail tech had something to say in their native language. I just feel if you’re so big & bad, say it in English. & stop being a coward about it.I also got a fill in. Asked the tech if I could see the shape before she finished filing. She said once she’s finished. And when she did, of course I didn’t like the shape. That was the whole point of telling her to let me see it.The nails were so crooked & dull at the ends. I told her that, she tried to fix it but by this point they were ruined. At the end, I expressed my disappointment again. She tells me I should’ve cut them. I told her that had absolutely nothing to do with it because they weren’t even dull like that before the fill in. I normally get my nails done but techs that specialize in Acrylic nails, but I figured a fill w/ gel wouldn’t be too much to ask for. CLEARLY I was wrong. So I know for a FACT, it was the FILING that made them so dull. She even told me with the coffin shape that I shouldn’t cut them when we first got started. $80 wasted- minus the long pedicure.

My mom is a regular here, and is treated accordingly, like an honored and appreciated guest. Even though we walked in-no appointment, we were very quickly accommodated. We even got the coveted little room for 2 to get Mani-Pedis. Sweet!

Gone down hill!

Damaged nails, bad paint jobs and surly staff. Please go somewhere else! Ive been trying to love this place as its my local and they do have a few older ladies who are excellent. The rest are young, petulant girls with atrocious attitudes and worse skills - Mi is the worst. Enough is enough - so somewhere that has skilled staff and great service, because this place sure doesnt.

Ive come several times and have tried several people and each time was less than great. Today I went in for a regular fill. Someone who was recommended to me decided I needed to take off my acrylic and replace it. I agreed, then she suggested I get SNS and not do acrylic at all. Again I agreed and couldnt find a color close to what I chose originally so settled for another.While she was removing my nails she broke 2 of them and suggested I get a tip put on them. Then I realized I was going to be getting a completely different service than what I originally came in for. I decided to remove everything and leave with bare nails. Obviously she was frustrated and rushed the rest of the service.Side note: at one point she cut her own nails with the same clippers she was using on me.Im unsure why this place is so popular. Wont be back.

This place has the BEST gel manicure.I am very tough on my nails and my last manicure looked almost perfect on day 17. I had to have them redone because they had grown out and chose white which is difficult because it shows all the flaws. Jennifer did a really great job and they look perfect! Great service.

I like this place because they are clean and efficient. Even when they are busy you are still. Able to get in and be serviced. The staff is nice and friendly. Ive been here quite a few times and will come back and recommend to others.

Didnt do a great job on my feet. When I told the lady what she missed she ignored me and started talking to her co worker in their language and Im pretty sure it was about me. Just rude!!!! I will not be going back!!!!!

The place always feels rushed and chaotic; both times my nail techs were eager to move on to the next person without explaining what/where to go next. Im writing a review because my last visit (with Vivian, I think thats her name) convinced me never to return to Hammond Nails again. She kept upselling me these cuticle gloves saying my hands were dry, and after I said no repeatedly (she didnt understand), she got a lot rougher with my hands. I thought I was imagining it at first, but she pushed back my cuticle so hard that I was visibly cringing and my middle finger started bleeding. She didnt stop or apologize (more of a, I told you your nails were dry. The rest will be like this.) and moved on to the ring finger. I reluctantly acquiesced and agreed to buy the cuticle gloves. She told me I made a good choice. What angers me the most is that she kept telling me how the gloves were good for my dry cuticles, (reason for the bleeding), and yet, because she was in a rush, after she immediately put them on the gloves, she ripped off the glove fingertips. I thought the whole point was to let the cuticles absorb the oils? I read the back of the package and it said to let it absorb for 5-10 minutes - but in reality she let one hand sit for 3 minutes and the other never had a chance. I hate being upsold, but even worse, a false product because someone felt petty. In the end, I left the salon in pain, tears, and a vow to never come back. I dont get my nails done often, so its a treat for me to go in and feel special, but that day I left feeling miserable and crying all the way home. I was not happy with how it looked either, probably because she was in a rush to get to her next person. While I will not be coming back, I did want to leave with two positive notes: I told the front desk and they offered a voucher and genuinely seemed to want to make it right (5 stars). I originally went because my neighbors all go here and really like it (5 stars). So maybe it was just a bad experience, but I would never advise a friend to go to a place that I wouldnt dare step in to.

Awesome customer service!!! The nail technicians seem to genuinely care about keeping ones nails healthy. They are a bit pricey though.

Usually my go to but will re think after today. Arrived at 2, sat down 20 min later, then had to move halfway through my SNS- mani-pedi from my chair to a table. Way too many people, felt like I was in a heard of cows.. takes the relaxation out of the service. Felt rushed and that they were just trying to cash in on the volume of people today. Normally an excellent experience but not today😐

I started coming to this salon a year ago - I loved this salon and couldnt wait to come in and see CiCi and Stephen.. CiCi is LOVELY and Stephen was the absolute best for a pedicure... Unfortunately, I havent been in for services in a while due to my schedule and unbeknownst, Stephen isnt there anymore - I called today 1/9/19 to ask for a recommendation for pedicure and to book a manicure with CiCi - as I like my spa time to be a personal experience. The lady who answered the phone told me they dont make recommendations and I should just come in.. Very Rude and Inconsiderate.. Customer Service Skills are very important in the service industry - Very unlikely to return :(

I hate leaving bad reviews but my nail tech(a older gentleman) was super rude to me. He didn’t want to do my nails to begin with and instead of soaking the left over nails off as i requested he ripped them off causing my nails to be very sore. When it was time to pay he threw the paper down and told me to sign atleast three times. I always tip when I have a service done and i might have took a while, maybe three extra seconds because i was looking for a spot to tip. But he began to yell sign as if i refused to pay after my card was already swiped.The other customers around began to look :( I signed dried my nails and left feeling horrible and without a topcoat...... All in all i like the shape and color but i was treated as if i shouldn’t have even stepped foot there. The front desk associates were superrrr nice.! They have tons of colors to pick from! They are two minutes from my home! I would love to have been a repeat customer.....my experience sucked.

For one clearly RACIST, they will quickly service older white women faster than any POC that comes in I’ve witnessed it on several occasions. My SNS chipped after just one week and they refused to fix because “SNS is suppose to crack” as they claim. I will never give them another dime of my money. The manager lied to my face saying they couldn’t fix it when I their earlier this month they fixed an elderly white womens SNS because they same thing happened to her.

Gel manicure started peeling completely off after two days(?!!?), such a waste of time & money. Color selection is lacking. The past few nail techs Ive had have been very unfriendly. The front desk people are always nice though.

Every single technician Ive ever had the pleasure of working with has exceeded expectations and treated me like a queen.I am compelled to write this review today after receiving a pedicure from Steven and an SNS manicure from Henry. Both were impeccable and ensured that I had a relaxing and enjoyable experience... which I most certainly did.Between the talented, friendly, efficient, and gentle nail technicians and the most amazing owner Ive ever encountered, Lin -- Hammond Nail and Spa is the best (and frankly, the only) choice for an incredible mani-pedi in the Atlanta area.Ill see them again in about three weeks -- like clockwork. They never disappoint.

Great, solid nail salon with pretty good service. Ive been a few times and it has become my go-to nail place of choice based on price and efficiency. Even if its busy, you dont wait too long.Ive had really good experiences so far with the quality of the pedis. Ive only gotten about 2 manis here and one wasnt too great. The technician did a very rushed job and seemed to not want to be working that day so I dont judge much from that one experience. I tend to not get many manis anyway since I use my hands a lot, the smudged polish will only tick me off.They have about 4 different pedicures you can get - basic ($20), sport ($28), deluxe ($32) and I believe one more but I dont recall the details. Ive gotten all of the first 3 before and enjoyed them. The sport gets you a sugar scrub added on, the deluxe will get you the mud mask and hot towels in addition to the scrub. Very relaxing.They have a frequent customer card as well. The only thing I do not like here is that you cant tip on a card. You must use cash to tip. The first time I came, I didnt have cash on me but remembered I had some in the car. I told my tech I would be back and based on the look of surprise she gave me when I came back with it, I dont think she initially believed me. They do a disservice to their techs by not allowing tips on cards - what is the reason? They do allow you to tip in check form which I saw someone do on my last visit. Uhh, Id rather just go to the ATM. Who has a checkbook with them besides that lady?
