Kevin is a great barber and has been my barber for over five years. He takes a lot of pride in his work and his barbershop as a whole. I would highly recommend his barbershop if you are looking for a haircut.

Kevin cut my hair this morning, and it looks great. Told him about a cowlick/issue with my hair not laying down on top, and he fixed it. Also made sure I got my appointment time when another customer incorrectly said he had my time, all while playing it cool.

Kevin was pretty rude. He took a 20 min phone call in the middle of the guy before me’s haircut - no apology or explanation. Then when I tried to explain my haircut to him with a picture he didn’t look at it and told me I don’t take good pictures. Rushed me out of the chair at the end - took the cape off and then had me face the mirror. No chance to ask for corrections.

My husband just got the best haircut of his life. We are from out of town and happened upon this Atlanta institution while looking to get him a hair cut. They were booked for walk ins, so we made an appointment for this morning. The people who work there are very professional, and helpful.The shop is clean, Covid safety measures are on point! The shop is really cool, it’s an upscale barbershop that is perfect for the guy who really wants to look up to date, and well groomed. You are paying salon prices- not the typical cheapo barbershop prices, in men’s haircuts, you often get what you pay for. The prices are affordable, and very fair for the beautiful work they do!My hubby’s hair is difficult to cut well. I told Brandy (I think) how it is usually cut, and she really went beyond, and his hair looks fantastic! The only negative is that we live 5 hours away and we can’t use them regularly! I’ve been getting my hair cut by Kevin for years now. The cuts are always good, and as a regular they’re very consistent from visit to visit which I like. I’ve had haircuts from other barbers there when Kevin has been out of town, and I can tell you he only hires the best. My favorite part about getting haircuts here is the straight razor finish on the back of the neck!

Impressed with the presence and use of Temperature testing, masks, on both the barbers and clients, sanitizers, gloves and limiting in-store presence to active customers in the chairs. I saw Kevin answer his cell phone at one point and he removed a glove. When he finished the call, he removed and disposed of both gloves and put on a fresh pair before resuming the haircut he was doing. Very aware. My only suggestion would be a bit less talking/conversation until the need for masks goes away. Talking in close quarters could spread any virus in still asymptomatic barbers or clients.Great cut and value. Easy online reservation system.

Made my first trip back to West since the pandemic started. Felt very safe and clean. No detail was overlooked. Best haircut Ive had in Atlanta. Ive tried so many places and havent gotten a haircut I truly liked. My hair isnt great and is thinning in some areas. I was able to get a same day appointment. Since opening back up, West Barber Shop has implemented a lot of measures to make customers feel safe. I was asked to wait outside until it was my appointment time. After I was allowed in, my temperature was taken with a no-contact thermometer and my hands were sanitized. I was also provided a mask since I had not brought one with me. Kevin wore gloves and a mask throughout the entire process. I felt secure and have no reservations about going back.

I originally made an appointment with Chrissy twice, she canceled the first time and didn’t come in or contact me at all the second time, luckily I was helped by Kevin who gave me the best service I’ve ever gotten. I moved to Atlanta a little over a year ago, and struggled at first to find a barbershop and a barber that I could keep coming back to. After an appointment with Chrissy at West Barber Shop I stopped searching. The shop itself is great, conveniently located, a chill waiting area (I suggest booking online although walk ins welcome), and during these unique times West has met the challenge by taking strict protection measures to keep staff and customers safe.They keep the space very clean.They take your temperature and offer hand sanitizer before sitting at the chair.They provide new, single use chair cloths for each person.They wear gloves and masks the entire time.They manage to work around your own mask, which stays on the whole visit.And they sanitize their tools and surfaces between each appointment.I really cant think of a better list of policies and procedures.As for the barbers, Ive heard consistently good things about everyone there, but I first booked with Chrissy and she does such a great job every time that as long as shes available Ill book with her no question. And even if she isnt, Im happy to wait it out. Chrissy has already given me the best hair cuts Ive ever had, and now she still manages to do as great a job while having to work around my mask. Thats crazy.She also does *amazing* work on trims and line ups, but of course because of the situation with COVID, beard stuff is on hold. She instead offered a lot of useful tips for me to keep it in check on my own, because shes cool like that.An easy 5 stars. Worth more than the time and money.

Kevin cut my hair Friday morning at 8am, which was amazingly convenient for my work schedule. And this is no hyperbole whatsoever, it was the best haircut I’ve ever had. I went in hesitant, but I came out with a new barbershop. Super swanky inside, but good lord it was hot. It wasn’t even a cold day! Luckily my barber noticed and turned off the heater. My cut was great, I kept the fade a bit longer than usual cuz I didn’t know the barber, but she did a great job. Next time I go, I’ll get a tighter fade because I know I can trust them. The only downside was the heat, overall the staff and service was fantastic. Great edition to the neighborhood!

Six years later, im still not over how amazing of a barber shop this is. For the last six years, this shop has been the only barber shop ive even thought about, and after trying almost every barber shop, I can ASSURE you that West Barber Shop is absolutely the best out of them all. You cant find a barber like Mister Kevin in the whole country! Hes like Jackie Chan, but with scissors! Ive tried out almost all the services they offer, like the clean shave and hot towel, and boy oh boy do they make you feel fresh. Every time I leave this shop, I feel like a new man. Ive received compliments from all my family and colleagues, and I cant tell you all how amazing the haircuts are here As I mentioned before, Kevin, the boss, is my go to man for getting the best cut. I trust him entirely and he always seems to amaze me even more with each cut. His other barbers also do an absolutely stupendous job and give amazing haircuts. Went for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the haircut. The barber took his time (though he was working furiously the entire time), and gave me the best haircut Ive ever had. The $25 was well worth it considering the cheaper places are usually a coin toss whether my hair will look presentable. I am thrilled to have such a great place so close to home and will be returning to West Barber Shop for my haircuts in the future.

Best haircut Ive ever had, made an appointment online for David West, nice facility, got exactly the haircut I wanted and needed. He fixed the errors from my last barber shop. A lot of attention to detail. Used different techniques including cutting the extra hair fuzz on top with a razor and sing texturizing scissors. Very impressed and 25$ for a professional hair stylist level haircut, worth more than that. Totally worth it.
