My scheduled hair-cut appointment with my barber, was punctual. The common area of the barber shop was clean and tidy.

We were visiting from out of state and decided to get our son a haircut before we headed back home. They squeezed him in, as a walk-in, on a Sunday and did a great job. No long wait; fast and friendly service. Highly recommend.

Is there a no star option? This is by far the worst barbershop I have ever been to in my entire life. I can’t remember the name of the young man to the left corner of the barbershop. When you walk in. He was more interested in bantering with his fellow barbers and talking unprofessionally about his personal life. He insisted on asking me and my friend odd questions not pertaining to cutting my hair. You couldn’t pay me any amount of money to go back there. On top of that he had the nerve to give me a mediocre haircut and edge up. I much rather learn how to cut my own hair before I step foot back in that place again!

I been getting my haircut at Rockys for a couple of years now, always a good vibe inside the shop. This is the only barbershop that I would let anyone in the shop cut my hair. The owner Rocky is a good dude. Quan, has been cutting my hair since day one...excellent Master Barber!

Some really good Barbers especially Rocky himself (whom has never cut my hair, but he always seem friendly, professional). Its hit or miss but Ive noticed the last few times I came the barbers seem dis interested and more interested in being on their phone. Not all but a few. I find it very rude to focus on your phone in the middle of a haircut. Sometimes smiling and showing that want to be there goes along way. Overall good barbers, just need to know when to put the phones down and take hair cuts seriously...

This was an amazing, atmosphere conscious and considerate barbershop with awesome customer service. And guess what you dont have to worry about your children being cursed around.

Attempted to get a cut today and wasn’t able to. Barber ask that I come at 2pm and I walked up at 2:10pm and was told they only have a 5 min grace period which I understood. I was advised to come back at 2:45pm for a cut. I showed up at 2:43 and was told I had one person infront of me and asked to wait outside until he was as done. I understand the safety precautions due to Covid but it was a lose/lose. Came a few mins late and was told to wait so I made sure I was on time and still told I had to wait. DO NOT BOOK JERMAINE..

It’s hard to find consistent and dependable Barbers but Rocky and his barbers are the highly skilled artisans everyone needs to look their best. I’ve been going for 8 plus years and I see the same patrons over the years. That really sums up his business. His clients understand that a good cut is hard to find and when you do keep it.

Great haircut, definitely going back

Been getting my haircut by Rock aka Rocky since 2001. Moved to Texas several years ago, and have still not been able to find a barber that can cut with his skill or precision. Every time I come back to Atlanta to visit, Rockys Barbershop will definitely be on the list of stops regardless of how much time I will have on the visit.

I LOVE ROCKS BARBERSHOP!!! They always do a good job and never causes any problems with me! When you walk in they acknowledge you and cut your hair almost immediately! I recommend this shop because they do such a great job and Ive been going to Rockys a long time and I love them!

Will return because of the fresh cut and good atmosphere. Reasonable prices for Atlanta and in a good location. May be a little wait to get in a chair but not much compared to other shops. Very clean as well, Rocky keeps a tight ship.

This may have been the worst customer service I have ever received, very very rude and the guy that cut my hair had the patience level of a prison guard. I will definitely not go back.

I have been going to this shop for a few years now and my regular barber, Rueben, is the best. Also the other Barbers are very personable and they do great work. I appreciate being able to feel confident about how I look and these guys really help.

Moved to ATL, this was the second shop I tried. Got a clean clean fade from reuben. Very professional, good time management for bookings, and most importantly a fresh tight trim. Been going here for 2.5 years now.

Ive googled black barber shops near me. Rockys barber shop was one of many. Ive read the reviews from google and yelp. So Ive jumped the gun by hopping in a new barbers chair. I was impressed with Tonys work. He was attentive and made sure he explained what hes doing to my my head to give me a perfect haircut.

I walk to in - No one speaks. One guy says he’s going to get me when he’s done with 2 people. 3 people go by, 2 hrs lost and no haircut. Then he proceeds to rant very audibly about how he doesn’t need the Money (Clearly directed towards me for whatever reason). Horrible experience. Life is not that serious for you to not provide simple friendly communication. Definitely never coming here. Too rude for my liking.

If I could rate NO STARS I would. Tony Parker is NO CELEBRITY BARBER as he claims and advertises so much. My husband and I saw this barbershop while we were out and figured he would get a simple cut because he wouldnt have time later. WORST IDEA EVER!! Tony greeted us as we walked through the door claiming to only cut celebs hair but he could cut my husbands for a small fee, TYPICAL. As Tony applied a hair fiber applicator called TOPPIK to my husbands hairline I questioned why was that needed, Tonys response was ALL THE CELEBS USE IT & IT WILL MAKE HIS HAIR LINE STAND OUT MORE Negative!! Never has my husband even used those type of products before but who doesnt mind trying something new, cool. After leaving to go finish our day, true enough these so called fibers started to lift, which was fine because my husband had no intention on relying on the fibers anyway considering we thought his hairline would still be in tact afterwards. NEGATIVE!!! My husbands hair line was gone to the point he had to shave his head bald because there was no coming back from that. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE SCAMS THIS MAN IS LEADING ON. As a barber you need to make sure the cut is clean before you start trying to enhance the look. This was basically a cover up of him not being able to cut hair. WE WILL NEVER BE RETURNING HERE AGAIN AND I ADVISE YOU DONT EITHER.

Not one to usually write reviews. The barber with long dreadlocks wearing a cap on the right was downright disrespectful (eye rolls and smirks) and impatient while I tried to explain what I wanted. Never gonna return and would never recommend.

Rocky is a superstar barber. I have had the pleasure of getting my haircut by Rocky every time that I have went in the past 3 years. Recently I have experience the artistry of the other barbers and they uphold the standards that Rocky has set as an example.That being said, this is a very traditional barber shop with all of the shenanigans that come with it. The experience will always bring a smile to your face.Thank you Rocky and your fellow barbers at the shop for providing and extraordinary experience.P.S. Never complain about the wait if you did not attempt at making an appointment. Rocky is usually very busy.

THE ANALYSISOverall, this is a typical urban barber shop. Not much different than any other. I guess I was expecting a great experience, but was disappointed. Corey gave me a jacked up haircut. I had too much hair on my head for ANY MASTER BARBER to mess up a short cut. I have a feeling I will be spending more money to have it re-cut by another bbarber before I return to work Monday morning.PROS - The shop is located in an upscale neighborhood. The staff is friendly to customers. The wait for walk-ins is very reasonable.CONS - Not all barbers accept credit payments which is not indicated on the incomplete website (sidebar I can help you with that), so unless you know who is cutting your hair in advance, bring cash. The barbers talk and joke loudly among themselves. My barber communicated with me at the beginning and the end of the service. The 30 minutes in-between was filled with loud shouting in my ear as he bantered with his co-workers and answered a couple of quick phone calls. It was so loud in my ear I was uncomfortable. Pertaining to the cut, I would have preferred the barber pick out my hair before applying the clippers...this is after all a full service barber shop staffed with master barbers, but my hair was picked out after 15 minutes of cutting. The part that I requested and had to remind the barber to put in after he thought the cut was complete was not followed by a clipper swipe to smooth the edges of the part. So it looks like it was an afterthought and not blended into the cut. Cost - $26.00 + 4.00 tip.I probably will not return to this shop or make it my regular stop. I can get the same mediocre cut for 10 dollars less out in the suburbs where I live. No need to fight traffic, walk to a bank, and endure shouting to get the same results.I dont mind paying for a service and tipping but I appreciate it if I am not disappointed when I leave the chair or when I get home and take a good look at my cut. If anyone can recommend a master barber who pays attention to the client and the cut and will give a cut that compliments the client, please let me know.

I was new at the barbershop! Maybe Im use to my own barber but I wasnt too satisfied! Yet alot of celebs get there hair cutt there! Have to get use to someone else being on my hair!

It appears the shop has a few new barbers. The barber near the door (not the owner) as soon as you walk in, hes located on the right hand side is HORRIBLE!!! He cut my hair and I was displeased with the level of skills and detailed to attention needed to my haircut. When I got home and was able to get a closer look at my haircut, I noticed there was hair still underneath my neck and my beard was uneven; he didnt trim the entire beard down. Basically, I felt like it was rush to accommodate the next customer. He needs additional training or to be removed from the door, so he wont be distracted!

One of the most dreadful place you could ever go for a haircut. DONT GO UNLESS YOU WANT A BAD HAIRCUT. If thats so then its the best place for you. I hated my haircut. The barber didnt comb my hair at first and I told him I needed a fade on the sides, back and a little take off on the top. My hair is curly and I guess hes not used to curly hair, he just went right through with the machine on the top. Leaving my hair uneven and untidy at the end. I would never drive by the store let alone walk into it. Take my advice. Dont go!

We were visiting Atlanta from Texas. The struggle was real trying to find a barbershop we would feel comfortable with. We walked in to Rockys and were welcomed by a courteous professional barber MJ. He cut my hair and my sons. He did a great job. Looking around at the other barbers in the shop they were all good too. I fully recommend this shop!

Best barbershop Ive been to in the Atlanta area hands down. They take appointments, cut any grade of hair, and dont give you lip service if you think something is wrong with your cut. They are very professional and because of that I will not go to another barber as long as I live in Atlanta.

Quan was awesome. Previous barber from another business jacked up my cut and he fixed it with no problem and without having to change my entire hairstyle. Will return.

This was my first time at Rockys. I went because they had been featured on the news. Rocky may be excellent,but his remaining staff of barbers are not. I asked for a faux hawk and got a half fade..me not knowing a better description to give. Barber was so focused on the football game my requests and instructions were ignored. My friend who has a unique hair type had to shave himself bald after his haircut. If you cant Rocky himself....dont go here!!!!! Highly disappointed!!!

First off the guy opened turned the open sign on and unlocked the door, so, you figure hes ready to go. Well, when I walk in he says were not open yet and I want to eat my breakfast. I was ok with that cause, it was still a little before nine and I wasnt in any hurry. I get in the chair when hes finished and say I want my hair cut one inch, 1, 1 inch and he proceeds to pull out a 1.5 guard. I wasnt paying attention and the next thing I know I got high and tight. Did not make my wife happy since we were going to her daughters wedding in two days. Wont go back since they cant cut hair.

Have had nothing but great experiences here. But yesterday after making an appointment for 2 with the barber Tony. I get there on time and he has forgotten somehow about a conversation we had 2 days prior. So after he cuts a womans hair, Im next. But my friend was disrespected in the fact that he refused to cut his hair and then proceeded to debate me about the fact that I even had an appt. It was just unprofessional.

If you want your line up sideways go here. They are very over priced. I paid $25 for a line up and a temp fade that was actually terrible. I found a different barbershop that is 10 times better and cheaper then these overrated guys. NEVER AGIAN!!!!

There are tons of barber shops in the Buckhead area but Rockys barber shop is the #1. Very professional and only quality barbers in this establishment.

Decent barbershop although I think Rocky himself is the only one to take plastic. I was a little irritated a had to go across the street and pay 3 dollars to get cash out the BoA ATM because I use wells fargo. I also will say that my particular barber did a good job, but he seemed inexperienced, especially in cutting a younger white mans hair. Not being racial or anything but lets face it, white men have different hair than most African Americans. I thought my request of a 2 on the sides taken up to my part on the left side then blended in on the right and with about 2 inches taken off with scissors on top was a fairly normal request, but he seemed baffled and the entire haircut (in which he did a good job dont get my wrong) took over an hour to complete. Usually it takes experienced barbers under a half hour to do. He really didnt seem experienced in scissor cutting hair as he didnt even hold a comb in his hand. All in all i was happy with the cut but maybe i will request Rocky himself next time.

I went there 2 days ago and they messed me up bad... I dont remember the guys name but he has long and curly hair. I trusted him to hook me up for picture day but instead im getting roasted by all my friends. i asked for a fade and a trim and even showed him a picture and he did terrible. He ruined the fade and did not trim me at all. i barely have any hair left. if i could rate 0 stars i would. Not worth twenty dollars smh
