This place is a joke. Customer service is god awful. Dont waste your time or money.

I got a flat tire and pulled off the highway. When I can back to get my car it was gone. APD said it was abandoned and had it towed then gave me this number. I get here and pay over $200 and they wont give me my truck back. They said I need a tow truck to get it back but theyre a towing company! Make it make sense!!!

I would chew glass before ever willingly use this company. And wash it down with gasoline.

I just called to ask for a tow and they asked me To where. I told them and they said They dont have any available and hung up

This place is rough yo 😬. If your vehicle ends up here just be prepared for the worse. The staff is harsh bordering on rude, the rules are strict. And the place just seems kinda shady. Ex; My truck was impounded there, and within 24hrs of them getting it and me picking it up they had already put a price tag on it🤔...

I had a box truck towed from ringold ga to east point. Very good rate and the young man who towed my truck was a very professional driver and gave us very good service so thank you Tommy I appreciate you and thank you for your help today👍

My car was towed from an accident. I had no idea if my car was even there but the girl who answered the phone was very helpful and she found my car, and she assisted me on what next step to take.

The customer service is horrible. I traveled from another state pick up my car that was towed. The girl at the front desk said it was towed for no insurance and then she said it was parked in the wrong place. She told me she needed proof of insurance. There was never a lapse in coverage. I emailed the declaration page while standing in front of her. The dates clearly showed coverage from May - November. They picked the car up 7-28-20. Then she looked at the proof and still said it needs to show before the tow date- What? I said lets call Geico. She said, I need to speak with a supervisor. I said, go get the Supervisor. Oh, hes not here hes on break. At that moment, I almost lost it. I told her I dont have time for this, I traveled from out of state and I have a tow truck outside. Finally, she said I will release it. I said how much is it? Before, I could get my debit out of my purse she said your name has to be on the card. And it is! So, I pay she releases the car. They couldnt find it! 2 hours at this place!!!!!! I finally got the car.

He had what I consider to be a very rare and hard to find body panel. His price was very fair too.

Called about vehicle was told was impounded due to being improperly parked. get to facility am told we have to pay tow and storage and viewing fee just to look at the car. we decided as lien holders we might as well pick up. after paying she opens file which we see through the window that there paperwork says burned... when asked why she couldnt tell us that prior she says thats my paperwork none of your business these people are the worst of the worse. did i mention everything is cash only no other form of payment. Horribly rude and non professional operation.

Upon arrival we were quoted one price then at the shop they wouldn’t give us the truck without paying 120 dollars more. Then came up with multiple excuses as to why they couldn’t give the truck back. For example, the registration was expired which it wasn’t, the license that was provided didn’t look like my husband clearly it did. We ended up calling the police and issues got resolved that way. Never again. I do not recommend.

Horrible customer service .Very unprofessional lazy, slow and workers need proper training to communicate with customers.I arrived with 3 people ahead of me..Took over an hour to get to the only window they had open . Staff is rude and inconsiderate of peoples time and dilemmas😡😡👎

This is by far the most unprofessional tow service I have ever dealt with, no atm on site I had to walk half a mile to use a atm because they dont take cards ay all, plus they give you the run around and on top of that every one is rude!!!!! I would never use this tow company or recommend using them to anyone, I would leave my car in the middle of nowhere before I recommend them ever!!!!!

Illegally towed my car and refused to tell me where it was. I called on 8/21/2020 to see if my car was in their lot, claimed they knew nothing about it. Called again on 8/22/2020. Called Atlanta PD and GSP on these dates as well, both told me they have no history of my vehicle or my vin in the system. Finally, 3 days later, I call them AGAIN and they acknowledge my cars in their lot. When I come to retrieve my belongings, they gave me a piece of paper claiming my car had been in their lot since 8/20/2020 and have been charging me accordingly. Customer service is non-existent here, as the rest of the reviews have stated. If you can avoid going here, please do

Do not use this place!!!!! the front office is very rude and would not allow me to assist my pregnant wife getting her things out of her car and rushed her after that ! highly disappointed very unprofessional staff to say the least you will have a better experience any like business other than this one in the atl area

I felt the negative energy upon walking in the door nobody was there but me yet i had to take a number and sit for about 10 minutes then the lady was rude off the top this was a complete unprofessional setting and service. So much work is needed to make this a better experience people already have bad experiences going on showing up to places like this at least think about having a little customer service and at least put a sign that states all documents needed for release instead of making people wait then send them away this was a complete disaster ghetto to the max!!!

We were very hesitant to walk in the place after reading the reviews but it was actually the best customer service we’ve received in person.Thank you for helping us out so much and being very kind. They are very strict with their lot so you know your vehicle is in great hands. I wish we could’ve gotten the name of the lady at the front that helped us because she was amazing! And the tow guys are great as well!

My vehicle was stolen and this company towed. There is no professionalism at all, the front desk person is real rude and charge me all kind of fees including ($50 notification fee). They did not notified me, my insurance informed that that the vehicle was recovered and I look for it until I found the towing company that had it.Also while waiting on parking lot for it to be pulled I sow one of their employees cleaning another vehicle if you know what I mean by cleaning!!!

The service was quick once you have all of the proper paperwork, the staff is just not friendly at all. I think they hire the person with the least amount of customer service for this job. People are already a bit upset from having their vehicle towed, the LEAST your cashier can do is be kind and show some empathy. If you dont like where you work then find another job! I never understood why people get jobs working with the public and they dont like the public....really?!

Insurance Adjuster: *calls south metro towing* “hey this is ______ with _____ insurance, how are you doing today?”South metro towing: “last 6 of the VIN”I’ve been an insurance adjuster for many many years. This is by far the worst tow yard I’ve come into contact with. They will do just about anything to delay pickup of the vehicle so they can keep charging storage on it. Extremely concerning that the police keep them in rotation after serious accidents.Aside from that they have no respect and are extremely unprofessional on the phone and the way they do business.These other reviews are spot on with my experience

They all about making money they wanna keep your car as long as possible to get your money. They not on the same page at all one person say some of your paper work is good but your missing something you leave and go get what you need and the next shift say the same paper work is no good .so I have to wait on the shift that said it was good to show up so I dont have to pay these thieves any more money. Dont not come here expecting ANY form of customer service because you WILL NOT get it. You will be greeted with an attitude, brushed off and talked to in a condescending manner. I know they are use to having people lose it on them but I refused to give the woman at the front window the satisfaction of doing so, despite her antagonizing my friend and I during the process.

My daughter was killed in a car accident on 03/15/20 .... I went into this establishment with pokice report and burial paperwork and the wouldnt let me get to her car to get her belongongs out . The lady that was behind the window was not helpful at all . I didnt want the car just to get a picture of the car and my daughters items . You should have a clause for certain circumstances. Your staff needs training in customer service.

Went to sign paperwork to have my vehicle released and the dark-skinned girl with braids at the front desk was INCREDIBLY rude from the moment I walked through the door. I hope I never have to deal with that facility again.

The people that work here are the most disrespectful, unfriendly, racist, and foulmouthed people Ive ever met. They dont have one nice or understanding bone in their body. They need new staff. They dont explain any paperwork or rules clearly and get upset when you ask for clarification. No filter. Rudest people Ive ever had the misfortune of meeting. The manager simply doesnt care how his employees treat people. The lady at the window the window supervisor has the worst, ugliest attitude. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

I just moved from Florida and was in an accident where I was rear ended. I went to the hospital in an ambulance and my car was towed here and a few days after I went to inquire about my vehicle. I was told that I needed to sign a release form for my insurance company to be able to pick the car up and take it to their salvage yard. When the insurance company attempted to do so they would not release the car. The insurance company was told they needed to send an email. The insurance company then sent an email like they requested and attempted to retrieve my vehicle a second time...this time they told my insurance company my vehicle was no longer in their tow yard and advised them that it was repossessed by the lien holder (the finance company for my vehicle). When I called them they advised me that a request was sent to them by the towing company that my car was impounded and illegally parked and they needed to come and pick the vehicle up from their tow yard. So my car was repossessed and taken all the way back to Florida not because I owed money or was behind on my payments but because of these rude and heartless people. They have no customer service skills at all and the supervisor is just as bad. It is a shame and whats even worse is they dont even care.

If I could leave a lower rating I would. These people are rude. They make things more difficult than necessary and have the worst business ethics. My car was in an accident while on vacation and South metro tow made the experience that much worse. If I could sue for poor customer service, wed be in court!

Is zero stars an option? what kind of tow yard does not make note of, or keep track of if a vehicle THEY towed from an accident has a freaking key with it??? How unprofessional. But the attitudes they are certainly keeping up with just fine. Illiterate.

This is the Worse towing company ever! My nephew was in an accident and they took his car there. We called to get information and they was so rude. Then the guy hung up on me. When we got there, they would only let my nephew go to the window and if he didnt understand what they were saying he had to yell it to me. I pray the Atlanta Police Dept. will choose another towing service. From the fist contact to the people at the counter, they all need to learn customer service! I hope we Never have to deal with them again. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

OMG this is the worst place on planet Earth! I was o=going back and forth with unhelpful staff there in order to release my own car to the towing company to be brought to the repair shop. The horror I went through wouldnt wish for my worst enemy. If your car is here I feel sorry for you!

I have never experienced customer service preformed this poorly. The employees are extremely rude all the way to management. When asking a simple question, I was rushed off of the phone by a member of management who had a horrible attitude. Not to mention my question was never properly answered due to the fact that the employee did not care to hear the question or concern. The member of management then hung up the phone. Leaving me speechless, disrespected, unsatisfied and still Not knowing the answer to my question. Ultimately I feel strongly that this company do not care about its customers, or have any sense of integrity, and overall providing a good customer service experience. Absolutely unexceptable.

This towing company is negligent! The city towed my car for a simple violation. After sitting in the lot for only twenty four hours, they had damaged it! When the employee drove my car to the front lot, he said “Something is dragging under your car.” I had no previous damage to my vehicle! It was almost brand new. Now there is a piece under my vehicle that is dragging audibly. The management refuses to take responsibility and turned his back on me after barely trying to fix it. We are filing a claim against this terrible agency.

STAY AWAY!! LOOK AT THE REVIEWS!! This place is a joke, the front staff has no idea what they are doing. They will hold your vehicle hostage and they dont care!!! The owner should be ashamed!!

This was one of the worst customer service experiences Ive had. I called first to get the correct information, I ended up having to call twice, because the first lady I spoke to was just trying to get off the phone and told me something completely wrong. When I got there, the lady was talking to me as if i had the incorrect documentation when in fact I had it. A young lady with glasses and braids was having a profanity filled conversation with Lester, speaking about someone being muthaf**king bipolar which was totally inappropriate. I was also asked to step outside and wait in the rain for my car which took about 10-15 to show up.I hope someone reads this and can do something about the rudeness and lack of professionlalism that customers who are already stressed have to endure.

I was recently in a car accident in Atlanta Georgia and had used this tow company (not by choice but who the police called to come tow my boyfriends vehicle) We are from Michigan & had to have our items mailed and they stole a majority of our items anything that was of value they kept. When I called the lady on the phone was yelling at me getting defensive saying that nobody there goes through your vehicle & keeps your stuff they have 100s of cameras in the tow yard and that it was co parts. Not to mention she just hung up on me without saying bye or anything. But that’s a lie. They had went through our vehicle kept all of my souvenirs I bought from Florida for my sister, mom & myself and kept them, some of my boyfriends shoes and his back pack. As if taking a total loss on our vehicle and having injuries wasn’t enough. Everyone there always has attitudes when talking to them on the phone. I would NEVER recommend south metro towing as they are VERY unprofessional. If you ever need a tow service there I would definitely check the reviews before having anyone touch your vehicle. We were in disbelief with the accident & our minds were racing so the last think on our mind was to check reviews as we were now miles from home & stranded.

My experience from the moment I stepped in the door was an unsatisfactory one. I took a number as you are instructed to on the wall and sat. I heard them discussing who ii was before deciding to call me over. Alfreda was the person who assisted my son and i from behind a glass plated window. As i explained to her my son and my purpose for being there she rudely interrupted and said Can he talk? I said why yes and she said ok our policy is i can only talk to him. We were just involved in an accident and he was in a great deal of pain and needed my help with dealing with the situation. She then began explaining things that were not needed to be said as we just needed one item out the car so i let her know that we were not attempting to retrieve the vehicle just his items. She stated rudely and unprofessionally that she wasnt going to talk as long as I stood there assisting him. Shocked i told him i would step away and let him handle it but stay near if he needed me as he was still in pain. She called for assistance from some man standing behind her stating she had a difficult person. Taken aback and appalled by her behavior my son asked me to just go sit in the waiting area next door and told me he would be ok for a few moments. I obliged so that we could get out of there as soon as possible.I would encourage EVERYONE to not do business here. Do your research and seek out another establishment to meet your needs. The service is poor and the interior needs much improvement.

I simply called up to ask if they could pick my car up and take it a mile away to a shop, my car wasn’t impounded. The first time I called a woman answered and I could tell she was already in a bad mood. I kindly asked for information and she gives it to me then hangs up when she knew I was requesting a pickup. I called back later that day and the same rude woman answered, I kept my manners saying thank you and asking again for a towing request but she said no. They do $65 plus 3$ per mile which is good but the customer service might’ve been the worst I’ve ever felt. I get that many people must call towing companies angry about their car and so I can somewhat understand. But when a customer who doesn’t even have a car impounded kindly asks for information that’s not the way to do it. First google review ever. I ended call saying thanks and getting hung up on.

The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Lady at the counter was very rude and racist. She tried to get me to sign a form which she didnt even explain to me. After I asked for clarification, she says oh my God Im so agitated right now. I asked for manager and he was just as awful and racist.

My insurance company called them to come tow my car, they called but found out they needed another truck to get my car ( the key is missing) I called them back to make sure they were coming back and first the man tried to say he didnt call me, However all I did was call back the number that called me. He cancelled the order without contacting me back . Lied and said that he called my insurace company and my insurance company is looking for someone else. This company is worst. !!!
