Took my car in for a head gasket repair. Picked the car up and the head gasket, literally blew again after only driving it 50 miles. Which means they didnt test drive the car to see if it was running right after the repairs. The excuse given to me was that the radiator hose was rusted and caused the engine to overheat. How do you not see a rusted radiator hose when you lift the car up on the lift. How to tow back to the location he told me he can fix everything else and get it for $2,400. ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Youll be hearing from my lawyer!

Ramon has been taking care of my beloved 2006 Volvo XC90 ever since it went out of warranty. Ive always been happy with the honesty of his repair assessments, the pricing of his shops work and the quality of the work. He and his talented mechanics have kept my Volvo (which has been in three serious wrecks, BTW, all repaired by Vol Repairs!) humming happily along. Ramon has been my guy for over 10 years and 7 cars- not one a Volvo- later the only car he couldn’t fix was one destined to die. He is the guy who will try to tighten the screws (for free) before charging hundreds of dollars to fix something. Honest, reasonable, and does great work for our whole family.

Charged us for work that wouldnt even fix the problem instead of just charging us for the diag then kept trying to clear the codes when we came to pick up the car had the car for 3 days my I also add just to still have the same problem

Disorganized. Unprofessional. Worst of all places. Ramon speaks to you aggressively,I dont know about you, but I did not bring my car for someone to go through everything in it. The problem is in the bonnet/engine not the glove box!Never ever.. will I bring my car there again. Ever.

They’re very friendly and honest! The guy let me know exactly what was wrong without pushing other work on me. I will definitely return for any maintenance. Vol repairs inc charged me $380 for my car to be in the same condition as when I left. Check engine light on and transmission light. I can’t even pass emissions, then when I asked what did he actually do he told me “just take your car”.

This shop is excellent. The owner Jose is very involved and truly knows his stuff. Also honest, friendly staff, and priced fairly. They take great care of my Land Rover and are flexible if I happen to want to install my own parts.The car museum/showroom on the way to the office is great fun too. My 5 yr old daughter always insists on exploring in there (supervised of course) when we go. Tons of cool classics in various stages of refurbishing.

Ramon was very nice and professional. The work he did on my XC90 was timely and reasonably priced. 10/10 would recommend.

Took four months and told us the car was ready. The car isn’t even ready and sit uneven because the shop changed one of the tires without letting us know. Gaps are all over the rear bumper. DO NOT TRUST Anyone from this shop.

Don’t waste your time and money at this place.I took my car with Mr. Ramón and kept my car for 2 months and when he finally gave it to me the interior was destroyed and full of trash. It was in better condition before I gave it to him. I wasted 2months of my time and 2000$.

Was told that I needed a new alternator by auto zone before I arrived at his shop and he was up front and honest and saved me a lot of money just telling me I needed a new battery. 30 minutes I had a new battery and running like new. Hard to find these types of mechanics - I recommend!

No one will ever convince me that Ramon does not walk on water. I will not allow anyone but Ramon and his crew to touch my car. Ramon is reasonable, reliable, and dependable, very rare qualities in auto mechanics.He has customers who have been taking their cars to him for years, as I deduced the first time I went in to his shop. Ramon certainly kept my 1995 850 GLT humming along until it was totaled by a knucklehead not paying attention. I actually purchased another Volvo from Ramon, and with any luck it will serve me as well as my last one did.Ive read some reviews of Vol Repairs which are less than glowing. I have never, in my 10 years being a customer, had a bad experience. I suspect maybe theres a lot more to some of the stories than what is being told. They sure dont sound like the gentleman Ive done business with all of these many years.

Ive taken my Volvo S60 in 3 times over the last year for much needed tune-ups and repairs. Ramon has always been straight forward with me, and charges me a fair price. Out of the many mechanics Ive used intown in the past I would recommend any Volvo driver to his shop.

In July 2016 I took my 2009 Hyundai Genesis to a repair shop to replace my transmission. When I picked up my car 2 months later the engine light was on and the transmission was slipping. The mechanic told me to drive it 500 miles and bring it back to him. After the 500 miles there was no improvement. He told me to drive it another 500 miles. I did that and there was no change. I then took the car to my local Hyundai Dealership for a diagnostic. They recommended replacing the transmission that the mechanic installed because it was defective. When I told the mechanic what Hyundai recommended, he told me that I only had a 30 day warranty and it was expired because I took too long to pick up the car. This was the first time he mentioned a 30 day warranty and it was no where on my paperwork that I signed. Took the owner to court and got a refund.

Ive been taking my Volvo there for years...YEARS...and cannot say enough about Ramon and his crew. Good, honest men and reasonable prices. The place looks like a dump but their work is excellent and they stand behind it.

Fast and knowledgeable

I called Ramon with an emergency, on a Saturday --we were on vacation😕 He told me he could see; and when I arrived, he quickly diagnosed the problem, gave me an estimated cost, and time of completion. He had us out the door 15 minutes before he predicted. The car runs great now! If I lived in Atlanta, I would use them as my regular mechanic. They were fast, friendly, & solved my problem. Highly recommend😃

On July 16 our car broke down and we were suggested to use Vol repair. We had our car towed there and they did everything they could to get it done that day. Because we got there late because AAA couldnt get to us right away we had to stay over. Ramon was great he found out the problem that another repair station never noticed. He checked our A/C problem also and gave us a lot of info about our car.The prices were what they should be and not over priced. He was a pleasure to work with. Thank you Ramon and all your people working to get us home.

I brought my car in for a coolant leak, Ramon claimed he fixed it and I took it home. A few weeks later, the leak popped back up so I brought it back. AND THE SAME THING HAPPENED AGAIN! He had two chances to fix a simple problem and he couldnt do it. Not to mention they are so slow, it usually takes over a week to get my car back and I have to call them constantly to get any information, they never update me if I dont get in touch first. I gave this place many chances and will not be returning. I now use an independent mechanic who charges far less to do better work faster. Let this and the many other one star reviews this place got be a warning to stay far away from this place.

Weve been using them for 30 years. Great prices and service. Ramon Jr and Sr are like family. We use to take our Volvos and now I take my Audi. The Audi dealership quoted me $5,000 for work that needed to be done (I was there getting an oil change and they diagnosed my car for free). I took my Audi to Vol Repairs and Ramon Jr fixed everything that was wrong for $1700 (parts and labor) and disagreed with 2 of the things there dealership had found.

I take our Volvo & Honda to Ramon & his team. They are fast & reasonable. I just trust them.

Trust this business. I have been going to Vol Repair for years.They are professional,attentive and polite. Their prices are very fair. I have a 2003 Subaru Outback wagon that they have taken care of since it was new. I had a Volvo wagon that they took care of for many years before that.I have always felt appreciative to them for keeping my cars in good condition.

I was originally quoted approx. $800 worth of work from the dealership. I called to get a quote on the scope of work the dealership was quoting and got approx $575 from Vol-Repairs. While this is still sticker shock but still MUCH better. Upon them actually taking a look at the car found out the scope of work ended up being $185 (parts/labor)!!! The dealership was phishing for money!! Ramon will now see my car for regular maintenance as long as I live in Atlanta. He even told me how to handle a separate issue with my car. I completely recommend Vol-Repairs!!

I took my car there that I had just purchased to make sure everything was ok. They found several things wrong with it. I offered to pay for the once over and the manager said not to worry about it. In the mean time I took it to another mechanic for a second opinion only to find that they removed a VITAL PART of my vehicle to guarantee that I would return to them to get my repairs done!!! The part they removed could have caused serious damage to my car. When I called to confront them the manager denied removing the part! The one good thing was the machanic was honest (IF WE CAN USE THAT WORD IN THIS CASE) and admitted to taking it off. I took my vehicle back watched them put it back on. When it came time for me to pay, the manager then tried to charge MORE than what he quoted for the initial diagnostics! Needless to say I paid them and left if you have work done here I suggest you make sure that your car isnt missing parts!

Highly overrated. After(Ramon Jr.) told me over the telephone that he understood my cars problem and that they could repair it (no problem) only to be they could not without extremely expensive trouble shooting fees was disappointing and they charged me a hefty fee for basically nothing.Therefore I would not recommend this repair shop.

I came in during a difficult season in my life (house fire) I told Raymon Jr. abt the fire. He and Raymon Sr. took advantage of me (took my money). When I tried to speak with Sr., he went to Jr. they spoke in Spanish. They blocked my car in to keep me from leaving the lot as if I would not pay. These people are criminal. Please run!

A good place to take your Volvo

I took my Volvo 850 in for service and got ripped off. DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!!....I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS SHOP!!!.....The guy had my car for over 3 months, during that time frame I picked the car up from him 3 times and had to return it for the same problem, and one of those times I had to get it towed by AAA. The last time, I went there and checked on my car, he had stolen parts off the car, and used them on other customers vehicles. I thought it was only me, then a co-worker just told me this morning, that he took parts off his vehicle as well. Ramon needs to be arrested, and put out of business!!!!
