They treated the ole gal right. Gave her a complete physical, Got some new joints put in and a complete fluid transfusion from stem to stern. found a carbuncle in her running gear but got that sealed up good as new. Found some minor issues and gave recommendations for treatment down the road. The ole gal showed up squeeking and leaking, put up a good struggle in the process but she is a thing of beauty now! Well be back no doubt.

I had an issue with the power steering pump on my car. The guys ended up getting 2 faulty pumps before getting one that worked as it should. They were dedicated to solving this problem, and the owner started after hours to make sure he could get my car fixed for the road trip I planned for the next day. Great service, good people, would recommend.

Mike hasnt worked on my personal car, unfortunately when he started having others pick up his work it has come out less than ideal. Ive been coming here a few years and I am sad to see the decline in quality and attentiveness to issues. Mike and his wife are amazing people/mechanic but the hired help could be improved with training. I appreciate them but havent been satisfied the last few times.

My ignition froze up and my key wouldn’t turn.Mike came out to my house. Determined I needed an ignition cylinder.He got the part and came out and replaced it and it reeeely gave him a hard time coming out!The new one is smooth and works great!!Really reasonable bill!!So I easy!Thank You Mike and Ashly!Fine Job!

Whoa! The MOST honest and decent people Ive dealt with in years when it comes to Vehicle repair!! While driving across the Lewis and Clark River bridge, another full size pickup truck clipped my mirror knocking the glass from the frame. I expected to pay at least a minimum to place the glass back into the housing (I tried unsuccessfully for 30 minutes!). The mechanic on duty looked at my rig and spent several frustrating minutes trying to get the parts to snap back together. Finally; viola! Success!. He so kindly refused to take my money but asked I consider them the next time I need repair. DONE!! Class. Pure Class. These folks are the BEST.

My car died after getting stuck, I was towed to Blue Collar. They diagnosed the problem, reconnected a hose, etc. And sent me on my way, no charge! I am so grateful! They were super kind, and very helpful. Thank you!

My husband and I were traveling from out of town on our way to Cannon Beach, Oregon. We got all the way up to Astoria, Oregon and our car suddenly died like it ran out of gas. My husband is not super mechanically inclined so we immediately got online to look for a place that was available to drive out to where our vehicle died, to see if they could diagnose the problem. I knew it would be a longshot and we would probably have to get it towed to a shop however we ended up calling a few shops and none of them were able to drive out to us except one! Blue Collar Mobile Mechanics came to our rescue. A guy named Mike came out to diagnose the issue on the spot about 20 minutes later, which is way quicker than we expected it to be. Long story short Mike spent the next 4 hours changing our fuel pump. They were very fairly priced and quite honestly we would’ve been willing to pay more for the services because we were incredibly grateful! I don’t know if it was us being in the right place at the right time or if the man upstairs knew we needed an angel that day, what I do know is I’ll never forget it. Blue Collar Mobile Mechanics is one of the best auto repair shops I have ever been to. Mike Davis and his wife, who works the front office, are both friendly and helpful. I was having trouble with my alternator over the weekend and when I called Mike on Monday morning, he said he could work me into his schedule. And to my surprise, he had my car back to be before noon. He also allowed me to bring in my own parts! Ive had my car worked on at a couple of other places in town and Blue Collar has them both beat in price and in customer service. Ball barings went out on our boat at Fort Stevens in the road. The ranger gave us Mikes number. He was there in about 30 minutes with the parts! Did a great job for a reasonable price when we were stuck and could have nailed us. Cant say enough about how inconsiderate and professional he was. Wish I could find someone like him in Portland.

I had the craziest day today, trying to have someone help me with my squealing brakes... I started in Seaside @ Les Schwab but was told my ‘85 Chevy G20 was too old for them to work on... I headed to Warrenton Les Schwab, they did a break check, said I needed pads and a bunch of parts replaced on my rear brakes but couldn’t get me in for almost two weeks! I’m traveling, on a road trip and haven’t the time to sit and wait. I stopped at TJ’s Auto who were kind enough to give me names and numbers of shops in the area since they themselves were booked solid but most of those were also booked. Finally, Graft’s Auto gave me the name of this shop in Astoria... I called, Mike, he said come right on over but he was closing early for a remote repair.... he thought it might just be brake dust buildup! He pulled everything apart, said most parts looked new (I had brake work done in Austin last summer) one brake pad was thinner... he thought that needed adjusting but didn’t have time right then.. he blew out the dust and put it all back together... $30 was all he asked! I was elated to finally meet a mechanic in this area that took time to fit me in, understood my van, was honest and had my best interest at heart! Thank you Mike @ Blue Collar Automotive in Astoria... I appreciate you so much!! I very highly recommend this shop!!
