Ive been getting my hair cut by Josh for the last year now. Always a good conversation and an even better cut. Sitting in the shop with the guys is always a good time and they always make you feel welcome. Josh is always able to give me exactly what Im looking for in my haircut/style and its almost like the cuts get better each time I go. Ill definitely continue to go to him for all my cuts.

I have been going to Steadfast Traditional Barber since early 2019. Seth was the first barber that I felt comfortable with trimming my handlebar mustache and the shave and hot towel treatment is like a spa treatment. I have never felt anything but welcome.

Steadfast Barber is remarkable. The atmosphere is inclusive and safe for everyone. I always get the best haircuts. Seth cuts hair better than any barber I have ever had. I do not trust anyone else! This is a quality over quantity shop. Ive never gotten compliments on my haircut until I started going to Seth. Its a first-class cut and Seth takes his time to make sure everything looks sharp. Ive also gotten a cut from Josh when Seth has been booked, and its the same top notch cut with him too. My only advice is to make sure you book about a week ahead of time if you know you need a cut.

Bryce was awesome! It’s been more than 3 years since my last cut and I felt it was time to let the long hair go. And I was blown away by the service. Steadfast is a great place, clean professional and a very nice environment overall. Will definitely be back when he cuts my sons hair again ( he is 3 and Bryce totally did an amazing job on his cut too) and I’ll recommend steadfast to anyone looking for a great cut.

I have been having Seth cut my hair for about 5 years now. I would never go to another barber shop in Asheville. I’ve had Josh cut my hair several times and today I had the newest addition to the team, Bryce, who are both as talented. It’s one thing to get a good haircut, but the environment is and has always been a fun time. Going to the barber shop isn’t an errand at Steadfast, it’s a refuge for those in need of some weird conversation and a little less hair.

Ive been getting my haircut at supposedly one of the top places in LA for around 7 years now. On a recent trip through Ashville I stopped by Steadfast and within 60 seconds was informed that my hair had been cut incorrectly. I had always been told that my cowlicks and part were difficult to cut, so I had accepted difficult to manage hair for most of my life. Turns out, when someone who actually knows what theyre doing cuts my hair, it looks way better and is super easy to manage. Big thanks to Steadfast, I will definitely be coming back. Very friendly, professional, and a great environment.

Awesome Barbershop… Was in Asheville for the weekend for a wedding and wasn’t able to get a cut before we left. Checked out some local barbers online and Steadfast had the best reviews and I can see why. Bryce did a phenomenal job and was super helpful. I received a classic cut from Seth and it was an exceptional experience. First off, hes a nice guy and fun to chat with. Ive had high end haircuts in Chicago, Bogota, and Bangkok to name a few. None of them matched the attention to explaining and the genuineness experienced at Steadfast. Seth asked me what I was looking for in a cut, and then gave great professional explanations as to what he was recommending. He then styled my hair and then taught me how to do it, even handing me the comb and coaching me through it. All ending in a solid hair cut. Highly recommended place. I will be coming back and have told a friend about it already.

Been coming to Steadfast Traditional Barbershop for at least 5 years straight and love it. Seth is a down to earth guy and he really creates a REAL baber shop atmosphere. Takes his time with my hair (which is important to me) and always looks to perfect the cut. I always look forward to my appointments and highly recommend.

Seth has formed an Asheville Barbershop to be reckoned with! I’ve had the privilege to watch him grind it out since he was in downtown followed by Biltmore Village and then to take to East Asheville where no one thought would be a success. Had a bad hair cut the day previous, desperately needed to find someone that could blend my sides in properly. I did some searching and found Steadfast. After reviewing their Instagram and reading some reviews, I booked an appointment. One of the BEST haircut experiences I have ever had. Seth was great, talked me through recommendations for how to cut and style my hair in a way that would look great and be consistent and easy to achieve. Love this place and will definitely be returning.

I just moved to AVL from Orlando 8 weeks ago and have been dying to find a good barber in the area. I lucked out with an open appointment at this shop with Seth and had an incredible first cut. He was honest with my style needs (My hair is thinning a bit on top and I have a huge head lol), ensuring that my hair was cut well to fit my proportions, which I largely appreciated his honesty. I will 100% be returning from here on out. Great input on types of products I should use based on hair type and faded my cut exactly how I like it. The vibe is awesome, had Incubus playing and a fridge full of beers. Definitely recommend this spot.

I have been to numerous places to get haircuts like everyone else. I go and see Seth here at Steadfast and I can say you don’t get any better service. He is professional, personable, and hilarious. Most places I have been to are just plain and boring. I told Seth the first time I saw him that I want a “Bro” cut but I don’t want to stink of bro. From there he just went for it and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. I’m balding a little and he is fully aware since it probably blinds him when he is cutting my hair. He doesn’t thin it out; rather he makes it look less known. He is very accommodating and it’s super easy to schedule with him via their online page. He is good, so make sure you book ahead because he gets booked up quick.

I recently had an appointment with Seth, and I was very happy with the overall experience and cut. He listened to what I was going for, clarified several points and checked in with me multiple times throughout the cut. He was very attentive to detail. For example, he spent a good amount of time on my side part, making sure my hair fell naturally where it should. It’s two weeks later, and I don’t have to battle any stubborn hair on my part every morning. The environment in the shop is very comfortable and laid back, and all of the equipment (chairs, tools, product) is solid. I definitely recommend coming here for a haircut.

Grand masters at what they do. I hadn’t had my hair cut since before the beginning of the pandemic, and was lookin’ real rough. But Seth brought me back to life with a fresh fade and cut that made me feel so much better. He does such a thorough job and he’s never disappointed me when I see the fresh cut in the mirror. In light of the pandemic, I also felt super safe while getting the cut - and the excited welcome I got after almost 7 months away was so nice! Highly recommend across the board.
