The service tech Travis came out to look at my Bosch dishwasher because it always smelled like it had stagnant water in it. He taught me how to clean it regularly and gave me all kinds of useful tips that you don’t find in the manual. He also gave me several useful tips with my Bosch washer, dryer, and stove. He walked me through all the maintenance routines and went beyond what the manuals say to do. He showed up on time and was incredibly polite and professional. I highly recommend Travis and Haywood Appliance!

Our OTR Microwave didnt appear to be venting as it should. Called Haywood Appliance to check it out. Danny was the service tech that showed up today. He was very patient with me while I attempted to explain our concern. He was able to determine that the upper filter was not properly installed and was able to correct it. Thank you Danny! Fingers crossed that this is the solution we needed.

I purchased an oven in the Asheville showroom that had issues just past the manufacturers deadline. With the help of Alisha, I got an OK from the manufacture to correct those issues; no charge. Travis, who does repairs, came & fixed everything perfectly. I think my stove actually heats up faster than it used to, thanks to his repair work. I really appreciate everyone both at the Asheville & Clyde showrooms. The sales (Joe) and repair people (Alisha & Travis) that I dealt with all work as a great team to support the customer who has purchased from them. You can tell that this is a family owned business, because they give you the impression that they really care. Danny was here yesterday to replace a panel on the range that had a very minor dent, having been shipped that way from the GE factory. Even though the damage was minor, everyone took the problem seriously. (Danny was also very good with our over-friendly dogs!) Additionally, I had a rebate problem that was the result of the factory taking so long to fill the order. I spoke with Cameron and he promptly figured out a solution for us. Kudos to Haywood Appliance for offering competitive prices without having to deal with a big box store!

Our new subzero fridges door starting making a scraping noise whenever we closed it. We called Haywood Appliance where the appliance was from and they scheduled a Service Tech to come out. Danny was polite, quickly fixed the issue, and helped us to understand the mechanics of the problem and answered our questions. We appreciate the care and service from Haywood and their employees.
We used Haywood Appliance for repair of our refrigerator. Travis was the service tech who came to our house. He was very knowledgeable and responsive to our questions. Would definitely use them again. Great to get local service in a rural area. Have since purchased several large appliances from them and found the prices to be very competive (and in some cases significantly lower) than those offered from the major big box retailers.
After waiting 7 months for our dryer we received it today and the delivery team of Brandon and Jacob made it well worth the wait. They were professional, fast and very conscientious in how they did things. We love the new dryer and the great service!

Brian James is a miracle worker, a true magician. I had had a less than satisfactory dishwasher installation, so Haywood sent Brian to my home. He did everything perfectly . . . even the things which had seemed impossible. There were so many things wrong when he arrived, and nothing but perfection by the time he left. Also, Amanda (in parts dept., I think) was just wonderful to me. She was cheerful, and she ordered one replacement for a damaged part as soon as I told her about it. She trusted what I said. She was also the one who arranged for Brian to come, and she called several times to follow up and be sure all was well. I spoke to Mr. Steve Hardin, the owner of the company, to tell him how wonderfully Brian and Amanda had done everything. He was just as marvelous as they had been. YOU CAN TRUST THIS STORE!
Travis is our service tech for all of our appliances. I cant say enough about his knowledge, professionalism and his ability to work with customers and the appliance brand service centers to fix a problem. He shows up when he says he will. He has everything he needs to fix something and he does his best to make sure the brand name appliance customer center stands behind their product. I have had problems with my Jenn Air double ovens twice in two years. He worked with the Jenn Air service center to make sure parts and labor were covered by Jenn Air both times saving me approximately $4000 even though the ovens were 7-8 years old.

Needed a new oven as mines control board stopped working and was no longer being manufactured. My sister-in-law, who is a designer, recommended Malinda at Haywood Appliance. I had an issue with my dishwasher locking on me and I couldnt figure out how to unlock it. Travis was so kind to show me just how easy it was. Needless to say I was embarrassed, but he let me know it was understandable how I was confused. We bought a new washer and dryer from Malinda Graves after we called the Asheville showroom and were delighted to receive them delivered and installed, timely and well. Unfortunately there was a very serious defect in the washing machine which could not be seen from outside nor ascertained by the running of water into the empty drum and draining it. We reported it, and they sent mechanics who verified the severity of the problem. Then there was difficulty in getting parts for the machine, so Malinda told us that we would receive entirely new units as soon as LG would send them. It was very difficult to wait as long as it took, but I cannot imagine how it was from the point of view of Haywood Appliance, who was in no way at fault for the defective unit or the shipping delay on the replacements. The new units were installed by the crew competently and well, and they are even better than the ones they replaced. Haywood Appliance came through for us in a very hard situation. Malinda Graves and all the other employees we dealt with were unfailingly courteous and helpful. We highly recommend them!

After going to several places in the area to select our appliances for our new home, we knew Haywood Appliance was the company we wanted to choose. We received personal, friendly knowledgeable service with Cameron. Haywood offered top of the line products at a great price. Even during the challenges of COVID, Haywood communicated regularly and offered other solutions to meet our needs. As luck would have it during the pandemic, we were moving in at the same time as our oven was being installed. On that day, the furniture delivery folks managed to get their large truck stuck at the base of our driveway. Shortly after, the Haywood team arrive to install the oven. They quickly assessed the situation, went into resolution mode and were able to move the furniture truck. They then helped unload and set up the furniture (better than the SC furniture company btw), broke down boxes and expertly installed the oven. Lastly, we had a concern regarding our ice maker. Haywood responded quickly by sending Gary to assess and educate us. Not only did he help me to better understand the refrigerator but also offered excellent care/maintenance tips for our other appliances. This group is top notch! I would highly recommend them if you are looking for any new appliances.

Haywoodss Service Tech, Gary Seay, came out to our home to service our Refrigerator. The Ice maker was not functioning. He showed up as scheduled and got it working after replacing several parts. Friendly, and knowledgeable. He did a great job.
We bought a refrigerator, stove and dish washer from Haywood in Asheville for our home while it was being built. Our latest interaction with them is typical of our experience with them since day one.I called about repairs needed to both the refrigerator and stove. I called service and had a nice conversation setting an appointment with a two hour window.On the day of, Travis, the service tech, called about the start time of the window. He told me where he was and how long it would take to drive directly to my home and confirmed it was still a convenient time.It took two visits to do the repairs as parts has to be ordered. Between the two, Travis diagnosed the problems we called about, offered and fixed an afterthought problem of uneven cooking in the stove and did a system update. He is clearly very good at his job, knowing much more than just what is required to do the task, and manages to work quickly, without making a mess or causing damage, and is very friendly, not seeming to be bothered by customers hanging over him watching the work and asking questions.All of our experiences with Haywood Appliance have been far superior to what has become the norm for most businesses today.
We had impeccable service dealing with Haywood Appliance. We are a business as well, and needed appliances for our employees quickly. We had a very pleasant experience without any issues. We went and purchased a Dishwasher in August of 2020, and talking with the Salesperson we selected a model that was in stock, so that we could get in it in quicker. But after several months it finally came in. And after getting it they told me they could not install it because of the way the the previous dishwasher of over 20 years was installed. So we had to install it ourselves. After installing, Their were several errors. so after having a technician coming out we find you that the one they installed the basson of the dishwasher was dented and was causing the drip tray to fill and causing all the errors. So they ordered an replacement, The replacement did not come in for another several months and did not get any results until I kept calling about when the new dishwasher was going to be in. Form some reason they did install the second dishwasher, After the installation we tried to run it and we started getting errors once more, so another technician came out, and said that our wiring was incorrect that it was messing the dishwasher. Which our previous dishwasher had for 20 years on the same wiring. But we did call an electrician and discover that a ground had not been connected. So that was fixed. But we have been waiting for months for this part to appear. Which I do realize that we have had several things happen, but that is the excuse that we keep getting, still waiting on these parts. So now it is the micro chip shorate that is causing the delay. These parts should have been order long before the chip shortage. So what excuse is going to be thrown at us next. The plot continues. So at this point. I sure do hope they enjoy the 2000 that we spent with them, because that is it. I will never recommend them to anyone of my friends. nor contact them or any other appliance.

Shopped around for a few months looking for an upgrade to the stove that came with my new home, when I stopped in to Haywood Appliance. I had a specific Frigidaire Gallery model in mind and spoke with Ken, who was happy to listen to my needs and what I wanted, and was very willing to help. Even though the exact model I wanted was not in their stock, he went out of his way to check availability and pricing, and located the one I wanted. He respected my budget, and there was no pressure or upselling, and he even printed off several spec sheets for similar models so that I could take them home and take my time deciding.By the time I was ready to buy, the model I wanted had been superceded and was no longer available. But, they checked into similar models and I wound up getting the upgraded brand new version including the 5 year warranty for less than the discontinued one, and also at a lesser cost than any of the local box stores.The delivery was delayed due to our new normal circumstances, but they kept in touch with ETA updates, and accomodated my schedule when the stove was finally available. The delivery men were very friendly, quick and professional. I love the new stove and could not be happier with my purchase or my experience. I would highly recommend shopping here before going anywhere else.

Our freezer (not purchased from Haywood) began to intermittently leak water. Even after taking a back panel off, we could not find the drain to check it. We called Haywood and a service rep came the same afternoon. He identified the issue (yes, a frozen-over drain hole & line) and cleaned it out. Before even starting he asked for towels to prevent water leakage on our floors, and he gathered them up after completing the repair. Responsive service with respect for our home! What a professional combination!

My wife and I had a great experience purchasing a Wolf 48 inch range and a Zephyr 48 inch range hood. I cannot say enough about the courteous help we received throughout our purchasing decision. It was such a pleasant experience. Our vent hood and range were delivered yesterday and the delivery team did an exceptional job installing the vent hood and connecting the range. My wife and I went in to discuss a range top and matching double wall oven.A lady greeted us very nicely. We have what we believe is a slightly off size existing range top, with a fan behind it. We realize that some work might have to be done. We do not want a big project at this time so I brought up a site visit. (i realize we would have to pay). We really want someone to look at the space and make sure that what we buy will work. All was going fine on the range top until the salesman came over to help. He was arrogant and totally non helpful. After discussing for a couple of minutes we realized we just did not want to do business with them. He couldnt care at all about our needs. They charge a premium price for their appliances. If they cant offer even mediocre service then they shouldnt be in business
Went into Haywood’s Asheville in September of 2020 looking for Kitchen aide appliances. Was directed by manager to purchase Cafe’ because he could get it in on our timeline for kitchen remodel 3 months later, spent 15,000$ of which they took immediately . Time came and appliances weren’t in still. So I got partial ones delivered in December 2020 of which stove door was damaged and Got my fridge and dishwasher March 19th, 2021 (yesterday) Installers put fridge on turbo cool told me to put my groceries back in it would cool faster. 24hours later my fridge hasn’t moved one degree and all my food is lost. Haywood absolutely showed no concern no sympathy and told me I needed to contact GE and set up repairs. GE associate was astounded. In my 20 plus years purchasing appliances including my rental properties I have never encountered such snotty, uncaring people in my life!Today 3/22/2021 Cameron the manager called and again started off conversation attacking us. In our experience customer is right from beginning then after a few times of trying to make it right then I agree you just end it walk away give them their money back or whatever . Cameron again defended his employee and told us because we resorted to Google with a bad review he had no motivation to help us and he wasn’t going to do anything.So we told him our lawyer would be in touch. And no problem we will work out things with GE.A few moments ago a gentleman we believe to be Cameron’s father the owner of Haywood called apologized said he would get us a new fridge ordered immediately. I have no problem making my Google reviews right if they make the service right. My biggest issue is as many I’ve seen say on Google and Yelp is their treated snotty and that’s exactly the treatment I got after the sale. It was immediately our problem not theirs.Steven the owner has kept in touch with us. Unfortunately still awaiting new fridge. Had we received the service Steven has provided from the beginning a bad review would’ve had been necessary. But Steven is clearly from the day when customer service was first priority. Old values never go out of style.

My husband and I just stopped by Haywood appliance as we are building our second home and need a new refrigerator. We walked in and was immediately greeted which was really nice. Went told them what we were looking for and once we found exactly what we wanted we asked about the price. My husband is a finance manager and has been in sales for over 5 years so we like to be sold on items rather than just take it. When we asked if they ever had damage items returned such as a small dent or anything like that the sales associate said no and immediately told us another place to go. Ultimately we were ready to buy and super blessed as we could afford anything in that store. Instead of talking to us a little more which could possibly of lead to a sale we felt as we were judged because we asked a simple question, had a new baby and a young couple. For that reason we will not be giving Haywood Appliance our business which saddens us as the store was very nice and had great items.

Buying actually was a pleasure, with great service from Joe. Alisha, manager of service, was outstanding. We had to replace the exhaust hood over our stove. Dan Cossart was able to look up the original appliance order from when the house was built and immediately found the proper replacement. Although it took forever for it to arrive, he kept us informed. Because it was to be installed over existing tile backsplash, I was worried about damage. However, the two installers, Dwayne and Dalton, carefully removed the trim, installed the hood and even painted the small area of the wall left exposed so that these two older folks wouldnt have to get up on a ladder. Superior service!

Have bought from Haywood before and am in the market for a $1300 GE wine fridge. Was trying to go to a locally owned small business and have called three times in the past week. First the lady could not tell me what the delivery was; second, no answer and just today, I got through but the gentleman said he was going to connect me to a sales manager and it went directly to voicemail. Sure this business is great but clearly not hungry for business; I will be buying online.
We received our new Bosch refrigerator yesterday. The delivery crew of Issac and Colin were awesome. First they arrived on time and were actually early. Next they were very professional and polite and while explaining everything about the appliance to us. Good hardworking young men!

Just got ran off the road by a Haywood Appliance truck on Elk mnt hwy. The driver never stopped and was in the opposite lane around a blind curve. If it wasnt for my quick reaction he wouldve hit me head on! I do not appreciate it. Your drivers need to slow down and drive carefully in there big Heavy trucks
Terrible customer service. You call with a problem and they immediately attack you and go on defense. Had my brand new Cafe’ fridge delivered yesterday which is not working and when I called today they had no concern told me to just contact GE myself to get my fridge fixed. Will stick with Homedepot or Lowe’s in the future for sure. Cameron in management and his team have no clue what customer service is.

Called the day before, to confirm. Arrived early - with another courtesy call to let me know that they were in the area. Did the job quickly and more importantly, cleanly. Workmen were polite, professional, and knowledgeable. This was a lot better than an experience I recently had with a national chain, where none of the above statements were true.
I had an excellent experience with Haywood Appliance thanks in large part to my salesman, Cameron Hardin. I was moving into a new home & because I didnt know the exact date my home would be finished, Haywood Appliance was able to hold a refrigerator, washer, & dryer for me until my closing. Service was great, questions were answered, & delivery was a breeze. The 2 delivery men were very careful not to scratch the floor, the plastic was removed, & explanations were given. The delivery was done very efficiently & in a timely manner. Also the delivery men arrived within their designated time. Communication was always good with Cameron via phone or e-mail. The store makes it very convenient to leave a voicemail for your salesman. I cant say enough good things about Haywood Appliance. They made the whole process easy with personalized attention to the customers particular needs. Gale J
We’re lucky to have this place in asheville. The sales staff was knowledgeable, and relaxed. I never felt pressured. They have an incredible selection for nearly any budget, and only carry high quality, dependable appliances. Their in-house service department is friendly and helpful, and provides the peace of mind that if you have any issues, a real person is available to assist you. I will never buy another appliance from a big box store, these folks are competitively priced, local, and provide far superior sales and service.

The delivery guys today did an awesome job on a difficult installation. Isaac and Jimbo are outstanding field installation technicians! I highly recommend the Haywood Appliance Team!!!

Wanted to shop local and small...indeed the store prides itself on providing unequaled service. After visiting the store on Hendersonville road we asked for a quote on several different packages convinced we would go with this business. After one week we have not heard back and they have not responded to our message inquiring. If that is the service they provide before the sale is consummated I can’t imagine how it would be after the sale.

Malinda is a great person to work with and really lets me know her thoughts and concerns about any products. She is always there to help and gets back to me quickly. I would recommend everyone to this store and to the amazing people who work here.
As an interior designer, I have met with many clients at the Asheville Showroom. First of all, the selection of products is totally different from the big box stores. So, if you are interested in quality appliances, go straight to Haywood Appliance.I have also found the folks who work there to be very knowledgeable and easy to work with. I would suggest making an appointment, if you are seriously ready to make some decisions about the appliances for your renovation or new construction project.
Haywood Appliance sells and warranties the best appliances. I was very impressed with their delivery and installation services and appreciate the professionalism of both departments. We couldnt be happier with our new Speed Queen washer and dryer!On the other hand, were not having a great experience with our Bosch microwave. Its down again for a third time and Im disappointed with Haywood Appliances policy of not providing a loaner while the microwave is being repaired.
The showroom in South Asheville is wonderful and the sales staff is top notch! We have been sending our clients there for years and have never heard of a bad experience. When it finally comes time for me to purchase my own new appliances, I will look nowhere else!
I wanted to let you know that we were very disappointed in the work The Everything Man did for us. I hope you will think twice about recommending them. Very unprofessional group that did a poor job installing a door. Haywood Appliance did recommend The Everything Man to us because our appliance we purchased from you didnt fit into your plug and play business model. Never heard of these folks, and I wish I hadnt. When you recommend a company, they become an extension of you. Very disappointed in your reply.
After a long stressful hunt for a dryer, the big box stores are idiots.. We walked in and were politely greeted, had a knowledgeable, professional and very courteous sales man. He answered our questions, no pushy sales pitch. We bought the perfect dryer. Yea it was more than I wanted to spend but we got the perfect dryer that should last us a lifetime. They delivered and installed the next day, no problems, with very polite, knowledgeable technicians. They did charge for delivery and installation but so did the big box stores and by shady delivery and setup people. But it was a cheaper cost from Haywood Appliance. We will definitely go directly there for any future appliance needs. I highly recommend them.
My mountain home has 18 mountain steps and AJ and his coworker delivered my dishwasher and induction stove very carefully and professionally. They were courteous and I would welcome them back any time. Brent was a great help as salesperson. These people do what they say!
It can difficult to review and understand all the features and price tiers in washer/dryers but Dan in sales did a great job walking us through the different products and helped make the best selection. The other reps in the showroom helped us find the right parts that we would need to install where we wanted to in the house so we were ready to go the day of installation. Steve in the delivery center was consistent with communication and follow up on the delivery schedule as well as following up post installation. Josh and Tony were very professional and efficient in delivery and installation. On top of all this the pricing was better than what we would have gotten online or through a box store. 5 stars doesnt seem like enough. I would HIGHLY recommend Haywood Appliance to anyone looking for new appliances. We wont look anywhere else for an appliance in the future.
I had a wonderful experience with Haywood appliance. My salesperson, Dan, was extremely helpful without ever being pushy. After I had my range installed, there was an issue with the oven being slightly miscalibrated so they promptly sent Kevin out to service the unit. Kevin was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and super respectful of my home. Its obvious that management cares about its employees and the employees care about their customers. Thanks for such a great experience all around Haywood.
The sales person, Malinda, was excellent. She was very knowledgeable, patient and efficient. The delivery of our refrigerator was on time. The delivery team was efficient, courteous and respectful of our home and property. We received phone calls at each step along the way to confirm details of the delivery. We also received calls confirming the order as well as a followup call the next day. This is our first experience with Haywood Appliances, but we are very satisfied and will shop with them again. We highly recommend them to anyone!
