Very disappointed, I applied for a place and didnt hear anything for a day, so I called they said they would get back to me the next day. It has been one week and nothing. I have good credit, make enough money, have never been evicted so I am confused. They also said I was the only person who had applied, guess they didnt like me for some reason? Doug also asked me a lot of personal questions about my divorce. Maybe they arent fans of single moms or people who are getting a divorce?

Do what they can with what property owners allow.

Buying a home is one of the biggest decisions you will ever make. The process can be daunting, and you need someone you can trust. The Huffords are honest, reliable, and will do anything and verything in their power to make your experience a positive one. They are straight up just really good people.

Terrible service. No return phone calls, never returned emails and completely “lost” our file when needed at move out. Would never recommend for rental which is why we used a different agent when we bought. Just not the way to encourage repeat business in an environment where you simply must put some effort in customer service.

My application to rent a home in Arvada was submitted and paid for on April 14th. I was told that I would know within the week whether or not I was approved. After not hearing back for 9 days, I called to check in on the status of my application. They told me that they would let me know if I was accepted or not by the following Friday, April 26th. I didnt receive any notice. I called this morning, April 29th at 11:30am and was told to leave my phone number to get a call back because Doug was on another call. I didnt get a call back for 4 hours so I called them again and was finally told that the home was offered to a different applicant. Im disappointed by the lack of communication and how little they seemed to care once our application was paid for.EDIT (Response to Owner): I did try to call to discuss this. Nobody answered for the 20 minutes I tried to reach you for. I understand that you have other applicants and my complaint wasnt just that it took a while, its that for 2 weeks the only calls that were sent were from me to you. If you couldnt meet the week deadline that your people set, I believe its appropriate to reach out and let me know that its going to take longer. I wouldnt mind as much if your company gave some notice since were out looking for a place to rent and dont want to throw 40-50 dollars in application fees at real estate agencies just to not hear back for half a month or potentially longer. I think its disingenuous to say you told me last week that you would notify me or that you notified me on Monday when I was the only person reaching out.
