I’m new to the area and I’m so so glad that I came here. I had a Brazilian waxing appointment with Lynn, and let me tell you it was unlike any experience I’ve ever had! She was extremely detailed and thorough and went above and beyond to make sure it looked PERFECT. I’ve had several waxings in the past that were painful, and this was pretty much painless. So if you’re worried about the pain, you’ll be in good hands with Lynn. I’m not going anywhere else next time.

I booked a session with one specialist, another one decided she’d do it instead, never said her name or something. Charged more than a regular price defending it by the surge of prices for wax. When I asked not to use tweezers, she still used them. I will never return to this place.

Channada is absolutely fantastic and a miracle worker with your brows. When I first moved to the area I tried multiple places for brow wax and tint and nothing was quite what I needed. Luckily I found her studio and she took my brows from being slightly over plucked to being healthy and full to look normal again. She always picks the perfect shade of tint, my brows are pretty blonde, and it doesnt make me look abnormally dark. Since COVID restrictions she has taken further cleaning procedures and precautions and it makes you feel as safe as can be while getting the little things done. Prices for what she does and the time she takes is very reasonable. Now that Im moving again I will miss her talent and conversation.

Quality and professional waxing services. The specialist, Channada, really cares about her clients needs and comfort. She is quick,clean, and calm. Everything is very sanitary. She is very careful particularly around sensitive areas of the body during bikini and Brazilian waxes. Days and weeks after her waxing, the skin is still smooth with minimal bumps and ingrown hairs. Definitely recommend and ask about her frequent visit card in order to get discounts.

Channada is very good at what she does. I have had a monthly appointment with her for about 9 months and have always had a good experience. As someone with sensitive skin and prone to ingrown hairs in the bikini area, since I have started going her they have lessened significantly. She is reasonably priced, has online booking, and does a thorough job in making sure ingrowns and stray hairs are removed.

I get my lashes done here and I have been going back every 2-3 weeks for a touch up. Roxy is amazing. She always has mr walking out feeling great. She always makes sure that I am okay and comfortable. Amazing wax has a lot more reviews on yelp but I wanted to share my experience also on google. Amazing wax is 1 women in a hair salon and she is amazing. She sanitizes everything wax, towels, tweezers, paper on the bed. She is very quick with the Brazilian wax and understands how to handle pain for first timers. She also goes after the wax throughly with tweezers to get any leftover hairs and ingrowns! This is key when you are trying to get rid of scarring and keep from having future ingrowns. Her scheduling is quick with an online appointment or a quick text to the number posted on the website. She is able to fit you in and it’s located maybe a 4 minute walk or less from Rosslyn metro stop. Key look for the salon on the corner/across from target. I’ve gone to many others in DC but she is the best.
