Mike and Brittney run a fantastic gym. I really think that they are creating a special place where ANYONE can work out. Mike is a former Olympian, and they have created a fantastic program around his Olympic bobsledding days . All the coaches on the team are first class, and the community makes it a fun place to work out. If you want to get healthy, get strong, and challenge yourself daily: TCR is the place for you.
First off, what a cool gym! Its super clean and has a great layout for classes to have your own space.More importantly, these guys know how to coach! I dont see this everywhere, but each of the coaches are super attentive to details in both cuing and programming. I feel safe, Im seeing myself get stronger, and keep finding myself looking forward to showing up to the next workout!
Really amazing gym. Basically combining the best elements of class-based gyms like Orange Theory (but adding way more variety) and Crossfit (but adding specific classes geared towards fat loss that dont use heavy weights, called The 360). Brand new equipment, clean space, DOG FRIENDLY with tie ups for their leashes in a separate section, cool coaches, and challenging workouts (that you can scale up/down to your skill level). And its literally about 50 feet from the Courthouse Metro entrance/exit.
Ive had a great experience at The Conditioning Room. The programming is the best Ive encountered in terms of keeping me engaged, while also improving my strength and fitness. Plus, its done in a smart way; Ive never felt any risk of injury. The coaches are knowledgeable and helpful. Happy to be a part of the positive atmosphere and community at TCR!
Coaches will give you one hell of a workout. Lots of effort goes into the programming of weekly workout schedule.
