Love coming to this gym but beware of the gym creeps I was leaving to get in my car and a man in a white truck came from the west side of the parking lot and pulled up on me as I walked to my car he tried to block me in my spot and I was right out front was one of the most scariest moments of my life! I’m actually scared to come back since this incident on July 3 2021. My car was trapped between the first parking spot out front and a giant blue van if anything were to happen I would have been in immediate danger ⚠️ and if you’re the man in the white truck eff you!!! I advise all women who are coming here solo to carry pepper spray or anything to protect yourself! Happened about 3pm broad daylight.
I like to go to this gym because it’s convenient and it’s spacious! But beware some of the gym weirdos here!! There’s one dude that’s doing deadlifts drops the weight from standing over and over and it’s really annoying! It’s common sense to respect the public and I can hear it bang from downstairs but the employees don’t get stepping in or doing anything to tell that dude! Staff is not friendly and lazy. They just don’t care!
24 Hour Fitness is well maintained, not too crowded, and the staff is outstanding. They always ensure that the machines/lockers rooms are clean and they are very attentive to their members. Shawn, Matt, and Drew have been incredibly helpful and being a member here has been an all around enjoyable experience!
Very nice gym with lots of space. Even when its busy it never feels packed. They have the right amount of equipment for the amount of guest that can be in at one time so youre never waiting too long. Basketball court is nice, not full size but big enough to play full court 3 on 3. Pool is surprisingly big but I havent used that amenity yet and it looks pretty outdated. Biggest problem area is the bathroom/locker rooms, on the dirtier side.
I enjoy working out in this gym a lot but the fact that its schedule is so limited, I give them 3 stars. They should change the name or at least add a couple more business hours. I guess its the same with all the other gyms.
Excellent gym. Basically a dollar a day not bad at all for everything they have. Sauna steam room basketball court. Whole thing.
10/10 have never had a bad experience. Have had some of my best workouts here! About to go destroy my legs actually! :)
Go to Instructor Name Cat Class she is great.
Still a good place for a workout.
Tried to cancel and pause monthly billing due to COVID-19 club and manager dodging me and saying can only cancel in writing but would never provide an address to write. Scam artists, they even completely closed the Gym for a month or two and I was still charged a monthly fee. Poor Customer service
It would be nice to have some form of consistency across the board with what’s available or would update each website individually with what amenities are open. The front desk lady was very dismissive and could barely hear because she had in her AirPods.
Eric has excellent customer service and very professional, although I needed to cancell my membership for personal reasons he was very helpful and understanding. Thankyou!
It was great we r glad to become members off 24 Hour fitness
I work out all over the United states due to traveling for business. I attended this location last night and it was by far the worst 24 Ive ever been to. None of your gyms are clean or organized and im used to that. This one was simply terrible. There were weights scattered absolutely everywhere. There were groups of people with speakers blaring their music out loud over your gyms speakers the whole time. People were literally throwing dumbells around the floor. Mind you all this is happening while your employees are just hanging out or training people nearby. Most the showers had no doors or curtains and there was standing water all over the showers and locker room. Actual stalls looked like they havent been cleaned in weeks. Im too the point in about to cancel my whole families membership. This has been a growing problem in general. Ive talked to groups of people with the same outlook.
THEY SHOULD CHANGE THE NAME 7 / 11 SEVEN ELEVEN BECAUSE THEY OPEN 7 DAYS BUT THEY CLOSE AT ELEVEN O CLOCK .
I enjoyed the water aerobics. All was clean and nice.
Bad service on somebody stole my phone Im not safe here Im going back to fitness connection more equipment on a great service there
I like 24 but they need to update the app for class schedules because I have made more than one trip only to find out that a class wasnt happening
I absolutely love this gym, I love all the employees and the people who work out here are always respectful and nice. The employees are always friendly smiling and helpful. I have been going to 24 hr for 7 years, but I have been using this location for 4 years now. We moved
They close at 9 and would not suspend my account until opened later. Change the name of the company and give me my money back.
They Should be Back to 24 Hours!!! not 5am to 9pmWhy are they still operating at these hours I pay for a 24 hour open gym ??
1st day back, well first day opening after the lockdown and it’s a happy welcome back to fitness! Definitely a respectable amount of space and staff are constantly inspecting for maximum safety!. Also a nice facility!! 👍👍
Its good..dont care too much for the location..seems dead area old. Gym has many broken leg press machines all except 1. Other than that staff is gteat! They helped me enroll again seamlessly. Thank you for that😉
Great place to workout. Sometimes the pool and hot tub are closed but mostly for cleaning which is great!! This is my favorite gym. Has most of the machines and free weights that most would need for a workout.
LOVED IT!! Mr. Rich was really nice to show me around the gym and facilities and there gym manager showed me nothing but kindness and passion that I was joining there gym and they are a great facility and gym to be apart of.. Come on out if your looking for the Best! Motivated! Fit Gym in Arlington Texas!!!
Staff is unfriendly. No hos for motivation
I am canceling my membership. These covid work out reservations are awful. I pay for this gym to have unlimited access. I have a friend who knows a gym in Mansfield and they let you walk in. They deserve my money. Also didnt appreciate the rude guard at the front. Im supposed to feel welcome.
For what it worse you have to commend 24 for giving us time to workout. Im thankful
It was a cool work out
Among the most aggressive sales tactics from a gym. I signed up and was told by my trainer its month to month. I go four months later and it turns out it was a 12 month membership. They told me that they I hope remember to cancel on month twelve because if not Im autorenewed. Saved the date and the manager tried to haggle me to stay. The gym is filthy, unorganized and the staff treat you like $ instead of people. Avoid this gym at all costs.
The place was very well kept up with and the employees gave very good information about the place and how it runs
Great place to work out.
Most 24 Hour Fitness locations that I visit tend to be dingy and dirty, not very well cleaned or maintained. That doesnt really have to stop you from getting creative and getting in a good workout nonetheless. I do wish that the owner of the gyms in the DFW area would take a little more pride in their establishment, but for now well just have to deal with it.
Better than fitness connection
Actually legit during covid 19... just want the Sauna and Stream room to open up!!!
Newly renovated swimming pool. But I liked the pool and hot tub even before the renovation. Workout space is well lit. Bath area is missing shooter curtains, they had it previously. There is a standing fan and hair dryers, spacious locker room.
Its huge, clean and not at all crowded if you go to gym after 9.30pm. I love the pool, sauna and steam room. Its thrice the size of other 24 hour fitness. Staff is above average and can do a lot better. Basket ball court is a great deal and free WiFi and comfortable couches too. They also have a ton of vending machine items but they are definitely over priced. Their locker rooms and shower is one of the best.
Me and my sister went in this gym looking for a trial and see how the drive would be convenient for us or not after our membership at lifetime was over. And after waiting for awhile, having Chris as the person who was suppose to help us around, he wasn’t rude but everything he said seem personally like trying to hassle you to get through the sign up. I understand that it is your bread and butter but come on, at least do your job right. Straight up tell us we should just get out once Chris found out we were going to purchased the 2 years membership through Costco is messed up. Not going to lie but that was a mess up thing to do, wasted of my time and drive here to try out the location I haven’t been back in about 10 years. Definitely would never coming back, at least never recommend Chris.
I love love love this gym.....the equipment is well kept, the locker rooms are not super exceptional but everyone uses them. The classes are very comfortable to my schedule, I love the instructors they have the energy to really pump up the class. I love the sauna too, helps relax my muscles after an intense workout.
The bathroom for the disabled has been out of order for an entire month and no efforts to fix it have been made even though multiple complaints were made to staff. I hope theyll choose to be ADA compliant after this public review. Please fix that bathroom immediately!
The new cleaning procedures lasted barely a week coming in at 5am and the machines are filthy. It was nice while it lasted.
What the amazing service
I love this gym, by far my favorite one. I love how I can work out for 2 hours and then jump in the pool for some Aerobics 💪😁
Favorite 24hr location in the metroplex. Enough equipment to go around for everyone. Facility is always kept clean and the staff are awesome. Everyone is always positive and motivated here
Got an interview here and immediately felt judged by male interviewer, I could hear him whispering behind the desk to another guy as I waited and although I couldnt hear what was said, I saw the body language that he was irritated and when they caught me looking he came over and gave the most uninterested interview to me, like when he asked a question he would wait with his hand on the side of his face with a blank stare as if he were waiting for me to finish. He asked me a certain question at one point that I misinterpreted and with a condescending tone he let me know thats not what he meant. I never had this happen in an interview ever and Ive been in interviews at establishments with much less respect and popularity. I would have rathered not be invited for an interview than to come in to spend time on something like that. It also seems like they told me to come in for interview and forgot I was coming.
Walked in today, overheard three front desk staff talking, one drops the f-bomb loudly. Use it anywhere you please, but its just not acceptable in any workplace, period. Unprofessional. That made me decide to finally review this gym.Over the years I would say you are likely to be greeted 25% of the time when arriving and signing in, otherwise theyre usually busy talking to each other or looking at their phones. Do they train customer service skills to their staff here? Doubtful.Lastly, the sinks in the mens locker room stink. Pretty nasty overall. If I didnt have a dirt-cheap annual plan, I wouldve gone to Lifetime Fitness long ago.
Some equipment needs to be updated. But for the most part Im able to get in and do what I need to do and get out. I like working out here because its convenient commute from where I work.As I was signing my mother up, the person having her the tour was saying that there are so many upgrades or updates such as the pool area. This was not true and he was only trying to make it sound good to sell a membership. I did not appreciate that. Dont be lying to the customer just to got something out of it. Ive been going here for 8 years now and Ive barley seen and any upgrades.
For the money it is pretty good. No matter where I am, I can get a workout after playing a round of golf because they have quite a few locations. Staff here was cool. Ive been around the world, and have seen a few gynd in my day.I think it comes down to perspective. Are toy a glad half full type person, or a glad half empty. I chose to find the good, and be thankful for whats available. They know their short comings, and they will get it together or fall to the competition.
From where I start 99.9 of the machines bad old not working. The gym not clean the sauna seats broken the steam room is stinky the carpet is so old and stinky and we still paying 35 a month its alot of money for nothing I wish they can fix it
I go at night around midnight when it is practically empty and I can almost always use the machine I want without waiting. It is pretty clean most of the time except for when people dont pick up after themselves or clean the equipment when theyre done (the lazy gym-goers are the problem, not the staff). For what you pay, you get access to a large professional gym that offers free workout classes during the day and access to other 24 hour fitness locations.Ive thought about switching to Fitness Connection down the street ONLY because it is cheaper, but Ive been going to this 24 HF location for nearly 2 years and dont plan on switching gyms anytime soon because the cleanliness, service, and availability for the price is unmatched.
Favorite of the DFW locations I visit regularly
I love this gym for its classes. They have Zumba classes with excellent instructors. Yoga classes is great too. My daughter loves their kids club. Staff is very friendly there.
Love this gym so far but wish they had a sauna
I like this facility better than LA Fitness, everything from the layout to the staff. The cycle class with Hope was awesome, Ive never taken any class like that ever. The cycle class at LA Fitness seems so BLAH compared to 24 hr fitness. Although its a little crowded this gym still pay attention to your needs. Im glad I made the switch!
For the most part, i like 24 hour fitnesss, Arlington however is the worst one. Its the largest and has the most options for working out, but a lot of the equipment is old and rusted and needing to be replaced. For as popular as it is, youd thunk theyd be able to afford it.
Ok this place has a major problem starting from the top .to start things off I was sold a month to month cancel anytime a one club membership. In return I the ringer a year membership full club access without my knowledge .I would have at least visited another club. Not to mention the person that I signed up with his name is not on my agreement .I pointed him out to the GM and he told me that that person and the name on the agreement didnt match. So there scamming to lock you in for the year .also alot of equipment is broken .the restroom is the same way multiple stalls not working and no tissue .At least overnight. I would have rated a 2 because the people are nice but since I cant cancel how Im supposed to be able to they get a 1 star. In my opinion put money back into the club an bring 24 back to the name it used to have .
Pretty good gym. They need to update the machines that you can load weights on to work out ur back. But other than that, good gym.
This place seemed to me smaller than other 24 hr fitness. But it is clean and got the necessary machines, some new ones also to work out. It also got nice front lobby and seating arrangement.
Great gym. Modern like new equipment. Never to crowded when I go. Great selection and clean areas.
Bad customer service when you try to cancel. They tell you to call back later but dont pick up. Take your money somewhere else.
24 Hour Fitness is a great facility for any type of exercise. They have a wide range of classes and equipment to suit your needs. Plus their personal trainers are great (at the Arbrook location in Arlington, Shalako is the top notch trainer)!
Nice employees, but nobody tells you about the “Fees” that came with the yearly contract. HUGE rip off! After the year they automatically sign you up for month to month without telling you. Horrible policies and they will not refund anything.
Im not going to go on and on about why I dislike this place all Im going to say is they care more about your money then they ever do you as a customer. They will never EVER see me as a customer again.
Very dirty gym. The vents, fans, lights, restrooms, are nasty. Im about to join l.a fitness man Im glad I do month to month
1. Basketball court is pretty awful if you are used to anything larger than an elementary school court. Floors are not polished and rims and nets are ragged.2 fitness area is clean but does not have many machines. Just one squat free-weight machine.3. Nice staff and managerIf you ride motorcycles, dont park them on sidewalk in front of the building... its against Arlington laws Ive been told.
Had a free trial pass and went there. Somebody named Matthew wasted my time processing& applying free 3 day pass on the computer, he first started asking me what kind of work out I am gonna do and ended up telling me the managers have already left and he cannot accept me inside unless I buy a membership. Such a bad experience wasting people’s time which barely can be found.
This Gym could be better, it has outdated equipment, and lack of essential machines, such as lying leg curl for hamstrings (every gym has it even the most basic ones), military press station (free weight), a pullover machine, HEAVIER DUMBELLS (yes, there are people that need more challenging weights on dumbells because there is a point where we feel stagned with that 115 pound), another leg press, another free squats rack, etc. This gym has plenty of room for better and more equipment. Some machines are not in good condition, for example: when you sit at one of the crunch machines for abs the seat falls down and you could get injured...one of the most common complaints of other users is about outdated and limited equipment, it is not just me who thinks like that.
Nice place, but one quirky thing that I have noticed. There is a homeless guy that lives inside this club. I see him almost everyday sleeping in the TV lounge outside the locker rooms, some times he hangs out inside the mens locker room. Ive reported this to the staff.
For some of you in the Arlington area, I have visited the Irving facility and the two in Bedford. This gym is a bit small but the staff is good and their equipment gets cleaned daily. They will fix their equipment in a timely manner and will post signs when you complain about equipment that needs servicing. This facility has a pretty large amount of members so choose your times of work out around the typical peak times. They have moved their work out equipment around a couple of time in the past couple of yrs. to fit practical use. Their Kids club is good but you may have to wait in line to check in or out during peak times. The parking is a bit tight (narrow spaces) but has designated spaces for those that ride motorcycles up front and a bicycle parking by the front doors. All in all, in this area, this gym seems to be the better choice. I formally worked out at the Dallas 24 Hour Fitness @ Royal and Hwy 75. That was a very well maintained gym! Oh and as for some of the other users reviews of the near by gyms, unfortunately one that I read about crystalized sweat on the equipment it true!
The samoan guy who works there with the tribal tattoo signed me up for the super sport plus made me pay a $200 down payment, so not only did i get my money stolen from the down payment i also have been getting my money stolen on a monthly bases paying $30+ extra for my membership. I signed up for the regular and instead have been paying for a super sport membership. Do not do business with these people as they will steal hundreds from you if you are not careful just so they can make a $30 commission check.
During COVID-19 gyms are one of the ways to keep people healthy and I thing 24hours is the only gym that is going about the reopening rules the right way. Closing the gyms after every hour for a 30min cleaning is probably one of the smarter ways to go about the situation.
Switching from LA fitness to 24 hour because of todays visit
The aerobics instructor John is awesome. Well all of them are awesome!
Good place to exercise and work out. Wet area need to up keep all the time.
Clean and very nice overnight staff excellent customer service and excellent customer experience it’s always clean and awesome atmosphere to be in I’m glad I became a member round of applause for 24 hour fitness !
As a pretty avid swimmer, I looked forward to swimming after work each day. I started in April and by August I was searching for another facility (and have found one). Pool is dirty and the clients that go there are thr rudest I have ever encountered in that they will jump into a lane without asking or even advising they were going to also occupy the lane (during peak times). Other than addressing the dirty pool, I dont know what can be done about the rude members.
Way too expensive for how poorly the equipment is maintained. Manager is always a month or two late adjusting the heat or a/c for the season so being too hot or cold is the norm.
Ive been a 24hr fitness member for over 10 years and although this isnt always my usual location to go, ive recently gone here and am disappointed. Once weight training is done, i like to hit cardio. There are only a certain amount of stair masters and almost half of them have been broken for at least weeks. The others were full and so i decided to get on an elliptical. I got on 4 different ones in a row..and they all rotated weird or wouldnt even turn on. It killed my vibe and i left. I hope the gym equipment can get regular maintenance so everyone can get what they pay for.
Great Gym stays open 24 hours 7 days a weeks 365 year.
I recently signed up at this gym and the staff is really nice. After reading all of the old comments how the showers are dirty etc staff rude things like that it seems the place has gotten betterThe showers are nice and I go there at night time and theyre always checking the chemical levels in the pool and hot tub.Theres three machines I noticed upstairs that a few machines seem to be broken but they all have signs stating this.Cleaning stations are all over the place so you can clean the machines after yourself like big boys and girls.I would still recommend shower shoes for safety but overall this is a nice gym and the staff is nice too. Also I talked to a few of them and if youre unsure what to do say you want to burn fat or bulk they have no problems giving you pointers. 5 stars from me! Very happy with this gym.
I love this gym. Been going for years. Good people....good enviroment. Great energy. If youre strickly on a Quest to transform, this is the place to go. Great gym with good people.
Not great..At first glance the gym seemed pretty nice, the front desk and merch area is nice. There is tons of cardio equipment which is great, however the free weights/machines area was SO dirty! There is only one free bar squat rack to be shared and it is very small anyone taller than 6 would really have to squat down far to get under. Hopefully I caught them on a bad day and it isnt always this dirty. I left after only a few lifts.
I used to hear bad comments from people, but after trying this gym a couple times, I can say the place is neat and people are very respectful.
This is one of two 24-Hour Fitness clubs in Tarrant County that has a 5-lane pool, with 2 lanes dedicated as shallow-water lanes all the way across the pool. Also their pool spa is immaculate and not full of cruddy foamy water, which seems to afflict all the other spas they have except for the one in Bedford, which happens to have the identical flooplan and pool plan as this one. These 2 locations are unique. The others are all just square buildings with square pools that only have 3 lanes and no dedicated shallow lanes, and their spas are full of cruddy foamy water.
The pool is filthy. It appears as though it has not been cleaned in years. There was dirt and debris throughout the pool. In one corner of the pool there was a substance that appeared like sand that had accumulated in large pile in one of the corners ... Yuk!!!! I live nearby, but I travel 20 min away to a much cleaner club. CLEAN the pool!!! Some of the fitness equipment needs to be fixed as well.
Wish they wouldve been more upfront about how busy some of the clubs are. Have to go in the middle of the night for it not to be packed
Definitely a good gym if you’re wanting to better your health and your physical physique a lot of good help there and knowledgeable people
Just signed up a few days ago at the irving(dump) location and not impress with this location either just seems like no tend to care to clean up the place weights all over the place, smelly lockers need an update, dry heat steam room didnt even feel like it was on showers nasty no doors really smh. Just went to a new location in euless which is a tier above the rest and they was nice, so i will spend the extra 10 to come here. Hell i seen workers cleaning almost every 10 to 20 min and clearing off the weights. Euless is a better facility all around better equipment, locker room was extremely clean even the bathroom and showers had doors.
I tried to use their free 3 day pass. When I went in they badgered me with tons of personal questions even after I made it very clear that I was not interested. I have a disability and am already uncomfortable going to the gym. They even badgered me with questions about that. When I didnt answer the questions the way they wanted, the superviser told me that I could only go to the gym that day and would have to pay $20 the next day (even though I had a 3 day pass???) This was harrassment. When someone says no, respect them. I will never go back to any 24 Hour Fitness again.
Great classes, convenient hours. Love the instructors . Clean location.
Nice gym but is entirely too busy for me to ever enjoy my workouts.
Amazing
My mother just got her memebership not even two weeks ago, and she’s been complaining about the whirlpool being extremely nasty. 😷That was the whole reason she joined in the first place was for the pool, whirlpool she has severe back issues, arthritis so she does therapy which helps her a lot, so with her not being able to use what she pays for is very upsetting and disappointing. 24Hr really needs to focus on maintaining the whirlpool, and pool clean. 🤨
Complety rude, made rude comments about how its my fiances fault that her health is not number one on her priority list and threw low blows because I wanted a casual gym not a have to be there in order to not be fat according to one of the sales guys. Basketball court too small and sucks. They are very rude staff
Upgraded equipment and the locker rooms are always clean. Only complaint is its hard to find two matching weights, even during slow hours.
This place was horrible.. missing both the Abduction and Adduction machines as well as the seated calf and lying leg extension machines. And that was only what I saw so far trying to lift legs. They have 2 televisions per section of the cardio so if you dont like whats on too bad.. Ants all over the bathroom floor.. more people just sitting taking up the machines they had, sitting there on their cell phones for 20 minutes.I will never been back.. Not sure why 24 hour fitness cant take care of their machines. Even the machines they have dont even have the pictures on them letting you know what they machine is called or what it works, what is it $5 to replace those. Come on..Dont be fooled with the nice pictures this place is awful.
